Stayed as part of national holiday trip! Mystery tour, so no idea where we would be staying! Quite impressed really, overall its clean, friendly, easy to check in, meals good standard, breakfast enough choice and variety, very pleased, down at 7:30 fairly quiet, filled up from around 7:45 onwards. Rooms easy to locate, we were on 2nd floor twin room, plenty room and facilities, good clean comfy bed! Can't complain, even had a view over the little nature reserve at the back.

I had stopped off in Crewe overnight to visit family before travelling on to Scotland for our holiday. Myself, partner, daughter (11 years old) and dog stayed in the family room, room 206 on the ground floor. The receptionist was really friendly and welcoming. The room smelt really clean. There was enough room for all of us and a nice big comfort bed + a small single bed for our daughter. The charge was only £25 per night + £20 extra for our dog to stay. A Chinese, subway and co op opposite the hotel and also a pub. I was slightly concerned about the pub being so close but we didn’t hear anything during the evening. We all slept so well and had subway for breakfast then headed on our way. I definitely will stay again as the price is great for what you get.

A pair of suitable and comfortable rooms booked to split the big journey 'up north' up and was the usual good standards for a Premier Inn. Only problem was the online check-in, which 99% worked well except for being able to (weirdly) state my Nationality. Weird, as there was no drop-down/selection available, yet would not allowne to proceed. Whether its because of this or some other reason, when arrived it was alleged we had 4 rooms booked instead of 2, despite me having the confirmed booking reference om my phone. The reception staff did go above and beyond to fix it, but if the online check-in worked properly, it wouldn't even have posed a problem. Rest of the booking was good though.....especially the infamous 'all-you-can-eat' breakfast.

Table booked at 2.15pm for 3, 2adults-1 child, although I do thoroughly appreciate our child, although 12, will be 13 in May but looks decidedly 15 at least so an easy mistake by anybody but nevertheless the booking was 2adults,1child. We arrived bang on time and after a We arrived bang on time and after a couple of minutes were greeted by a man who checked our booking and said someone would be with us in a minute. After a good few minutes a lady came and again checked us off the list and said she would be back in an minute. After seeing both these people wander past us 2 or 3 times each, after 15 MINUTES we were eventually taken to our table and sat down only to wait yet again! We were asked if we would like to ‘upgrade’ to a champagne afternoon tea and my daughter explained that she had booked that anyway so warm champagne arrived almost immediately with 3 glasses as the 12 year old was going to be served with champagne even though the booking was CLEARLY made for 2 adults,1child but I do understand the 12year old looks way beyond her years but hey- read the booking!!! . Eventually at 2.55pm our food arrived but my daughter had specifically requested a ‘more savoury’ option for one as I don’t do cakes/scones or sweet stuff at all. This was agreed weeks ago, when booked with a manager and assured not a problem. When the food did arrive it was the normal selection so my daughter had to request that it was changed as per original booking. When it did arrive the substitute for cakes was 1 miniature pork pie,I mini sausage roll and 2 mini spring rolls. All 3 were inedible!!!! The pork pie and mini sausage roll were warm on the outside but stone cold in the middle. A definite NO-NO in anyone’s diet and the spring rolls were decidedly rock hard, as though they had been reheated from the previous evening, i know they should be crispy but not dark brown and rock hard. CHEF - you know exactly what you’ve done here - I’ve been in catering for a long long time so I know!!!! Eventually we were served with extra sandwiches as a substitute to the sweet stuff and it was LOVELY. The staff became very attentive and we had a lovely afternoon. I just wish that things had started on a more positive footing as the negatives may not have been so paramount. I have been before and enjoyed it but on this occasion you BADLY let yourselves down with very easily ‘fixable ‘ things. eg. Leaving us waiting for 15 minutes in the reception area Why didn’t you suggest we sit in the comfortable seats until you could attend to us properly? We were kept in that cold reception area for 15 minutes!! A long long time when you’re stood waiting, particularly when a specific time was made at the time of booking. When we were seated and the food brought, it was wrong to what was ordered. Again we waited ages and when it did come it was inedible!!!!!! For your part in this debacle it is so easily avoidable with communication and a bit more pride from your chef. I really don’t understand ho

I have had reason to sometimes spend up to 2 weeks in the Nantwich Premier Inn visiting my daughter. The room was as expected, comfortable bed, clean and restocked with tea\coffee and a change of bedding and towels as needed. The reason I have given 5 stars was for the staff. Over the past few months I have got to know quite a lot of the staff. At all times every member of the team I had contact with was welcoming, pleasant, caring and efficient. They all certainly made my stays enjoyable despite the stresses of dealing with family illness. They went above and beyond with their support and caring. Thank you all.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights, I can not praise this place enough, cleanliness, service, staff, food, everything is 5 star. The whole place has a homely feel, smell of a proper wood fire, clean throughout, beautifully decorated. The room was perfect size, the bed was very comfortable, that bathroom clean and perfect, I asked the staff to arrange flowers and champagne for the room before my arrival and they were amazing. The restaurant was very cozy, the staff were very very friendly and helpful. I can not fault the food at all, absolutely everything we ordered throughout our stay was amazing, my only complaint is I couldn’t eat it all. I will be recommending the bears paw to everyone

I stayed here this week and was so impressed with every aspect. The service was great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The chef for breakfast was so attentive and lovely. My room was cosy and I couldn’t wait to get to bed. The bed and pillows were perfect. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bar was very cosy with an open fire burning. I stay at hotels a lot and this was the loveliest home from home. Although I live a long way away, I would absolutely come back and will be telling everyone about it.

Went last night with family after being told how good the food was...& IT IS!!! But the front of house who took the order and served the food was DIABOLICAL!!! Very abrupt verging in Rude... not at all courteous... in fact a couldn’t care less attitude! The place should have been Heaving Ona Saturday considering the food quality but the place was virtually empty....!!!! service is the reason we’ll Never go back to this place... the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Don’t ask for a wine menu... they don’t have one, but serve wine! When we asked if they have one we were met with an Abrupt NO!... asking for water seemed totally alien to him...bizarre! When the plates were placed on the table they were slammed down with such force we thought they’d break... no excuse me while they were chucked down in front of us as we conversed....literally just barged them in front of you... As I say it was such a shame as the food is brilliant but not worth the couldn’t give attitude!!!
