If I'd had an elegant and lovely Victorian grandma, I'm sure she'd have been right at home at the Inn San Francisco. Owner Marty is a sweetheart, showed us all the hallway photos and gave us a detailed orientation to the city and the hotel. Without his intro, we'd have missed the truly amazing rooftop view. His hand-drawn map of all the restaurants in the area is absolutely impressive. Marty, GREAT GOLD is a fabulous new Italian restaurant on 24th that deserves to be added to your map--from the same folks who brought SF flour+water. Fresh flowers in the bathroom and bedroom: lovely. Sherry and port on silver trays: elegant. Breakfast beyond breakfasts. Stargazer lilies in the common room: ugh, I'm not a fan of that pervasive strong smell but I know that's my personal nose-wrinkle. Coffee was bitter, maybe bring in something from Portland? ;) You absolutely cannot beat the personal touches throughout the Inn and of course, there's the uber-hip Mission district right outside the door. The Inn is an easy 10-minute walk from 2 BART stations and about a half hour walk to the Castro. If your taste leans more toward Zen minimalist decor, don't stay here. But otherwise, go out, wander around, enjoy the hubbub and excitement of the diverse neighborhood, then return to your dream grandma's quiet mansion for evening sherry.

The room was clean with window and quiet facing courtyard. Low budget furniture but worth the money since i was only sleeping in the room. Flat screen tv with a lot of channels but the best of all was the location! Clean neighborhood right beside Castro area and walking distance to the center. surronded by bars, restaurangs and supermarket.

The hotel is just 100 meters from the 16th Mission Street exit. The owner is a Panamanian (Indian) and the service is very warm. The size of the house is small, except for the public shower and toilet, the rest are private. There are many black people downstairs, but they are safer than you think. Single girls are not recommended to travel alone at night.

Good value for money, there are not many homeless people nearby, and a boy doesn’t feel unsafe to stay by himself. There is a microwave oven, a separate bathroom, and the curtains are not very tight. It will wake up in the sun in the morning, so bring a blindfold to solve it. recommend

In a world of trendy hotels and Airbnbs, I was a bit skeptical that a bed and breakfast might be... shall we say... sketchy... dirty? This place stole my heart. It is a charming Victorian located ONE BLOCK from the Painted Ladies. If you walk one direction, you get to Hayes Valley/Civic Center BART. If you walk in the opposite direction, you get to NOPA. If you walk in yet another direction, you get to Lower Pac Heights/Japantown. And if you're up for a lot of walking, you get to the Valencia St/Mission. The interior of the bed and breakfast itself is not fancy, but for my mom and my San Francisco staycation, all we needed was a clean, quiet place to sleep in a safe neighborhood. They offer a continental breakfast which is modest, but the coffee is from Bicycle and the pastries are from Jane, so everything is high quality. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They let us store our valuable luggage behind the front desk when we checked out of our room, but weren't leaving till later in the day. My mom's wedding anniversary is in a month and she's thinking of taking another staycation with my dad at The Grove Inn. If you want to truly experience a San Francisco hilly neighborhood full of Victorian homes, stay at The Grove Inn.

Similar to the domestic express hotel, there is no breakfast. There is free coffee and hot water at the entrance of the first floor. Just like the Chinese cabinet building in the 1980s, there are two floors. The middle of the building is a staircase and a public bath (including toilet). There are two public bath rooms on the floor. Each room has a wash basin to provide hot and cold water, wash your hands and brush your teeth can be solved in your own room, but the bath and the toilet will go out to the public bathroom in the middle, the sound insulation is general. So it is recommended to live on the second floor. The hotel, often in the early morning, there are people up and down, dragging slippers to take a shower. But the win is at the right price and the location is good. The street in the front and back of the hotel has a free parking from 6pm to 6am, but be sure to take a closer look at the instructions on the signage. There is also a parking lot, which is charged per hour by day, and there is a self-service type to see your own preferences. Usually 20 knives for 24 hours.

Stayed here after our flight was cancelled. The room for 1 night was expensive considering we booked so last minute and it is quite far away from where you want to be in San Francisco. The surrounding areas of the hotel (especially 7th street) is full of homeless people and drug dealers. It was quite scary walking back to the hotel at night. If only the hotel can be picked up and moved location because the hotel itself is nice. It’s very quirky and well decorated, iron board and iron in your room, big comfy bed, clean rooms, someone on reception 24/7 when we were there. Negatives to the hotel is there is no lift (and no rooms on the bottom floor) so you will have to carry your suitcases up the stairs which is minimum 2 flights to get to 1 floor. If stairs are an issue defintaley don’t stay here. The rooms are also noisy because of the activity outside. It’s about a 20/25 minute walk to union square but again because of the location it’s not a pleasant walk. The hotel itself I would give 4 stars if the location was better. Overall though I would not stay here again purely because of location and activity happening around the streets of the hotel. Also don’t see how they can justify the price for 1 nights stay.

1. Older hotel, geographical location in the city center, but also make do; to the United States to stay first, thinking that the US hotels are relatively old, after the travel comparison, I know that this is the most general, the facilities are relatively old, but there is no hard injury; 2. In the city center, there are many wanderers around. I bought breakfast early in the morning, and I slept a lot in the nearby streets. I met three people who asked for money, so I need to have some change. 3. Parking is expensive, but there is a parking lot next to it, 35 dollars all day, relatively cheap;

No breakfast, I asked about the parking fee of $ 80 a day before picking up the car! Good location, there is a living supermarket in the basement opposite, fruit and bread are available, basically OK! (Even if there is a large supermarket, there are not many kinds of fruits in China.) Stayed 2 nights! The happiest mobile phone window can be opened, although it is not very large, the opening with a large palm is sufficient for ventilation! You can call the kettle and slippers!

advantage Old hotel, cleaned fairly clean. The location is next to pier39 attractions, it is very convenient, parking has its own garage, relatively safe, and public parking across the road is also convenient. Disadvantage When I checked in, I was charged a service fee of 22 dollars per day. It is mandatory and non-refundable. I didn't see this on Ctrip, so please pay attention when booking the hotel. Secondly, in Downtonw, San Francisco still has a lot of homeless people and goes out at night, so I was taken the initiative by Xiao Hei in front of the store.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the city center of San Francisco. The front desk staff is also very enthusiastic. I asked for a higher floor. The front desk staff was very happy to arrange it. A credit card deposit of $ 50 If there is no problem, I will return to Cali. The room facilities are also very good, much better than domestic chain hotels. The arranged rooms have a wide view outside the window. The check-out time is before 12:00 the next day. Need to make a round, just talk to the front desk. The room rate is C $ 100 for Ctrip, which is slightly more expensive, mainly on Christmas Eve. There is a parking lot, but the parking fee seems to be more expensive. Haha, we did n’t rent a car that day, we only started renting the next day. No breakfast at the hotel. Nicely renovated rooms make like SoMa hotel a great spot for exploring the city. Kudos for excellent in-room coffee and well-appointed bathroom, plus great WiFi and in room A/V. It's typical of the W brand, sometimes trying to be a bit too trendy for it's own good, with a loud bar scene in the lobby every evening. The hotel restaurant serves a decent breakfast, though there are much better options nearby for dinner. Functional and convenient with friendly staff, nothing exceptional but a solid mid-range choice for San Francisco.

1. Excellent location, no more than five minutes walk from subway station. The two blocks are Union Square and Macy's. It is basically flat and gentle slope. 2. The lobby is a bit noisy, but it shows the popularity of the hotel. 3. The rooms are spacious and clean and reasonably furnished. The only problem for me was that the refrigerator didn't work and there was no kettle. 4. Gym facilities are relatively complete, and equipment is also a first-line brand. There are more people going in the morning, and they are free at night. 5. It was said that there were nomads around. I stayed for three nights, and I made a few laps outside after nine o'clock in the evening. 6. When checking in, the front desk will recommend upgrading the room. From $ 60 a night, I talked about $ 30. I don't know if it has been upgraded, and said that the room given to me was cityview. Actually I don't know what room I originally booked. But one thing, we arrived at 12 o'clock and arranged the room directly. If you don't upgrade, you'll be required to store your luggage first, and then go outside at three o'clock. 7. When I checked in, I paid cash as a deposit, but when I checked out, I returned all the cash to me, and another 75 USD was used as a security deposit. 7. I have to buy another breakfast. I took a look. There is nothing delicious. There are many restaurants around. You can choose any. Opposite is where the major car rental companies return their cars. You can park at the door of the wine at zero hour. When I leave San Francisco, I go to Alemo across four blocks to pick up the car and pick up my family.

The hotel is really close to Fisherman's Wharf, two streets away, and it takes 5 minutes to walk. Because I saw the parking charges of the hotel in advance, there was no car rental. I picked up the car at 8 am on the day of departure, so I went to the nearby Chinatown. It was Uber 13 knife, had a Chinese meal, and then I took my father who was 70 and walked back to the hotel for more than 20 minutes. My lover took the child to Jiuquhua Street and walked back to the hotel in 40 minutes. For young people It's not far away. The room type we ordered was not large, and the double bed was a bit small, but there was a small sofa bed, which was barely dealt with. The breakfast at the hotel is bread, couscous, fried sausage, bacon, milk with chocolate, low fat, non-fat, all in boxes. I like this, they are replenished in time and can be taken back to the room. The best breakfast in the 6 hotels in the United States, but still can not compare with the buffet breakfast in Chinese hotels.

The infrastructure in the hotel room is actually very general, with more than 500 people per night. Even the standard of the hotel with an average price of more than 200 in China is not up to standard. The price in San Francisco is really high! The appearance of the hotel and the design of the lobby are OK. If you just have to sleep, you have to bring your own toiletries. However, the location is still very good, go to Union Square and take a bus, just walk about 10 minutes. There are also convenience store supermarkets and small restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. I didn’t go there before I heard that the city’s security was bad, but in fact, a girl who was still shaking outside at 11 o'clock every night did not feel terrible. Just pay attention not to go dark or narrow, tramp and mental illness. More, but people will not actively attack people, fear to go around. The hotel has a buffet breakfast, mainly bread and fruit and simple drinks. Each floor has its own table, oranges are delicious, it is a California sweet orange. However, the free wine from 5 to 6 o'clock every night is not for the traveler, because they are playing outside! In short, as a resting point, not demanding quality, the hotel is still good value for money, mainly in the geographical location!
