0.1km from CrispiGreat value for money. Clean, comfortable rooms with great service. The location makes it perfect for tourists who enjoy public transit system while sight seeing and can navigate their way thru’ the tram/metro. The breakfast was one of the best while I was in Italy .. I just wish they had more English Channels on the TV .. though CNN world was available for the updates on the corona virus.
0.23km from CrispiBooked this spot last minute after we decided to stop in Florence for a night. Had a car so knew we wanted to be outside city center, but close enough to walk in. Villino Fiorentino advertises free parking, and otherwise totally reasonable rates, so it seemed like a no-brainer. First, the positives: Location is great, a 15 minute stroll into the historic (and amazing) city center. I think you can take a tram or a bus to expedite the journey, but the walk was easy as well. The room was spacious and functional (though the bathroom was teeeny). The building itself is charming. The Negatives: We arrived after 6pm and at no point were told that there would be no one to check us in, so we were locked out for a while. I finally turned on my US cell phone to make an international call to the hotel, and the lady told me she had just left. (Admittedly, we were running late and had anticipated getting in around 5:30.) The lady had apparently sent me an email with the code on how to get in, but i hadnt turned on my data or wifi while driving, so didnt see it. It is something that could have been communicated when we made our reservation. One of the other negatives was the "free parking". There is reasonably space for 3 cars, thought you can fit 5 or 6 in there if you block in others. We parked fine, but the next morning other guests asked us to move our car so that they could prepare to depart (even though we were leaving at the same time-- and oddly we werent even blocking their car...) It was just inconvenient and there is no one there working to really manage the cars blocking each other. What if we had left early in the morning to walk around the city? Finally, the room we had was right next to the breakfast room (which was just OK, not great, not terrible), so when the nice lady starting preparing breakfast before 8am, we were awoken by the noise. It is not a place to stay if you want to sleep in! Would likely stay somewhere else if i had time to plan, but this spot was fine for what we needed, despite the hiccups.
0.24km from CrispiGreat little guesthouse on the top floor of a commercial building in a quiet safe neighbourhood of Florence. Walking distance from the Duomo (about 10-15 min walk). Staff is lovely and helpful, it is small and all the rooms have access to a communal kitchen with a large fridge. There is no lift, but the stairs are wide and even. Tram ride to main train station (Santa Maria Novella) takes about 10 min including the walk to the stop. Great location, clean, nicely decorated, good size bathroom. No English language channels, but there are a few music video channels that basically play just English top hits so its alright.

0.24km from CrispiWe stayed here for 2 nights, got a room with a little courtyard which was nice The aircon and fridge didnt work very well but the receptionists took care of it as soon as they were informed. The Bed was hard which didn't suit us but we lived with it. The room was large and comfy, the bathroom was large and had a spa bath which both of us took advantage off. The only thing i will say about the bath/shower is that the shower head is located low and is only a handheld one which made it hard and awkward for my very tall husband and there were no shower curtains etc so we made a complete mess of the floor :-( Breakfast was just that but the coffee was great and they had an outdoor spot for eating brekky aswell which was nice. They had bikes for hire It was a quiet spot and we thought we were the only ones staying there for a while :-) Once we got out bearings, the hotel was close to a beautiful family run restaurant and a good pub and wasnt too far from shops and the local tourism spots either All in all a pleasant stay at Hotel Panama
0.25km from Crispiperfect, clean, and very experiential. design details very cool. Wonderful location. facilities service great.. need more sockets near the desk inside the rooms. recommended for any kind of journey. qualified staff.
0.28km from CrispiWe booked a double room for one night in August - first thing I am saying is that the quality/price ratio is awful and we stayed there only because we had only booked a 1-night stay, otherwise we would have left. - we asked indications about the parking, the guy at the reception (Gianni) did not care nor did he put any effort in suggesting any free parking location, no matter whether nearby or far away, when he understood we were not going to use the “parking offer” the hotel has with a garage nearby (€24 per day — hint for other tourists: if you want to put your car in a garage, you’d better select another 3-star hotel with garage included for the same total price of room + garage , there are some available in the city centre). We found free parking anyway on our own. - we were assigned a room just behind the main reception. Asked for a change of room (also because on booking.com, when booking the room, I specifically asked not to be assigned to the “ground floor” of the hotel ie. where the main reception is. My wish was not taken into consideration) but our request was not addressed. - the doors of the rooms do not grant even the barest level of privacy. The room was extremely noisy and starting from 7 am, when guests started having breakfast, we abandoned the idea of sleeping. Always about the door: you can totally hear other people having sex from the corridor. You can almost make out the words if they speak at a normal voice level. The doors could be made of paper for the level of insulation they provide. - one of the worst things was the smell in our room, which was awful: we kept the window open but this did not allow air to circulate (the window was on an internal passage in the building) nor natural light to enter the room. Also, there were tons of mosquitos in the room, so we had to decide between the trade-off: keeping the window open and be eaten off alive by mosquitos, or keeping the window close and have an awful bad smell of old forniture and stale air in the room. - forniture in the room was very old (also part of the extremely bad smell) and generally very dusty if not dirty. We tried not to touch anything and we did not take out at all our clothes from our luggages. The bedsheets were the only clean thing. We had also a green blanket on our bed which smelled terribly and probably had not been recently washed, and we put it aside. - bathroom: many parts were broken or with repairs hastily put together. Shower had woman hair on the floor. The bad smell was even stronger in the bathroom, which had no windows. - general rudeness of the staff at the reception: when we asked them to be mindful of having guests 5 meters away in a room for the night, they simply did not care and said “doors were old”. I am really appalled by my experience in this hotel. 2 starts means having less services and comfort, not having a dirty room with broken parts, no privacy and being unable to sleep in the morning due to the noise coming fro

0.39km from CrispiAlthough only designated as a 2-star hotel, this 10-room hotel was absolutely perfect for my week long stay in Florence. The hotel is well located in a nice quiet street just a 10-minute walk from the main railway station. The facilities are simple and basic, the room was clean and there was ample space for a single room. There was a couple of minor points, the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking (the hotel was in the process of replacing mattresses during my stay) and the shower cubicle is very narrow and would be awkward for a larger framed person. The breakfast which is included in the price is very simple, coffee, juice, bread rolls, cheese and preserves but filled me up for the day ahead. Undoubtedly the outstanding factor at the hotel is the customer care provided primarily by Antonio. He welcomed me by my name and was engaging, friendly, helpful and informative throughout my stay. My return flight home was cancelled due to weather, a quick call from the airport to Antonio and I was fixed up for another night, this time in a larger double room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone visiting Florence looking for a simple hotel which I have no doubt would be enjoyed by any guest. I certainly would stay there again.
0.4km from CrispiMy girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. On the positive side: - Good location and easily walkable to centre of town - Great views over Florence - Staff were friendly Average points: - rooms are okay, nothing special but they are reasonable for what you are paying for the location. On the negative side: - There were some hidden costs and attempts to get some more money. Parking was 28 euros a day which we were told at the end of our stay. The lady told us we owed an extra 72 euros on arrival which seemed very high for the city tax but in fact she had included breakfast in the price as well, which we didn’t want and didn’t book. She did however agree not to charge us for that in the end after we pointed it out. - seemed a bit tight on the toiletries provision but in fairness we could have asked for more. Overall, an okay stay if you’re on a budget, just be careful of hidden costs, especially if you are driving.
0.42km from CrispiVilla Antea is a beautifully appointed and elegant family-run establishment that served as an ideal base for our four nights and five days in Florence. The location is pretty good - close enough to the places you want to see but also offering a "suburban" perspective of Florence. We felt quite safe strolling through the area late at night. If you want to walk into the old centre it takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the Duomo precinct and there are any number of routes you can take which provide different insights into the city. An alternative is the local bus service. There is a stop less than 10 minutes from Villa Antea and we never waited long at all. It currently costs 1.50 euros for 90 mins, and you can purchase tickets from reception. A taxi into the old city is also relatively inexpensive outside the peak periods. We arrived in Florence by car and while parking on the property is a bit of a squeeze, it was secure. We booked an executive room which was truly fantastic. The bedroom and the bathroom were both huge, as was the bed, and very clean. The breakfast was typically Italian fare but with enough choice to satisfy two vegetarians. And if you're dog lovers and missing your own pooches like us you'll find two very adorable substitutes awaiting you. We would be remiss, too, if we did not acknowledge the cheerfully helpful Bogdan who was our primary point of contact during the stay at Villa Antea. Thanks!
0.42km from CrispiMy friends and I loved staying here! It’s near the train station, so it made lugging our suitcases around easy! The owner is very sweet and accommodating and allows luggage store before check in. She makes a personal, delicious breakfast for everyone which you eat at a table in your room! The room was very specious and clean and beautiful. There is an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcases up all the stairs—just walk up and ask for the elevator key! I would definitely stay again!

Stayed here in Oct 2017. Travel Agent booked after highly recommending to us.I sure didn’t like it. As hotels don’t have AC, we had the windows open. Temp was comfortable, but windows opened in, making a cramped space tinier. Bumped/ my head several times on open window at night. Shower was mediocre. When I needed more wire hangers on check in night...night manager took me up four flights...but no hangers in storage room. Location was ok, but not great. At night, we were treated to a street show...from Italian couples who were arguing and fighting in street. Buffet breakfast was highlight of stay. I’ll pass on this hotel if I ever return to Florence.
Isolotto - Legnaia
I stayed in this hotel with my friend for two nights, in a twin room with breakfast included. The first point in favor is definitely on the position. It is located a few steps (5 mins walk) from the tram station which takes you to the heart of Florence in 20 minutes. The staff is very kind and very attentive to the customer's needs. Especially in this delicate moment due to the pandemic, the staff observed all the anticovid rules by wearing a mask and serving breakfast at the tables. Another plus is the cleanliness of the structure and rooms. My room had all the comforts, very clean and above all everything in perfect condition. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We stayed in Florence for three nights and chose this hotel on the back of Trip Advisor comments. We were not disappointed. The hotel is based in an excellent location about 10-15 mins walk from the centre of Florence but also in a quiet and peaceful road. We had one of the three rooms which had a balcony overlooking the hotel. Our room was superbly decorated with all facilities. There was also a nice introductory offer of a meal with complimentary bottle of wine for 39euro per night which was excellent value and a high quality. Breakfast was also excellent. The Staff were very courteous and professional without being over the top. This is little gem of a hotel and very well lit at night which maximises its attractiveness. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence and represents excellent value. My only minor quibble is the old 1970's type carpet in the corridors - I think its time for them to be replaced! I saw no other hotels in Florence which I passed which would make me change my mind and would happily stay here again.

Plaza Lucchesi Hotel truly is a 4.5 star hotel. It is located in a great location within walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the city center, facing the river Arno. It’s a beautiful hotel close to everything, yet not in a crowded part of the city but “surrounded” by plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. I stayed at room 208 which is a spacious, comfortable superior double room with a big window directly facing the Arno with magnificent river views. Bathroom was also spacious but it had a not so comfortable tab. I would prefer a shower instead. The only problem was my internet connection which was frequently interrupted and my mobile signal which was no good. I also took a look at single rooms, since some friends stayed there, and they were nice, clean and beautiful. The best part of this Hotel is the absolutely beautiful view from the rooftop pool bar, overlooking Florence, especially on sunset. If you go there, up the 5th floor, you can see the entire uninterrupted panorama of Florence. The Staff was really friendly, professional, helpful and welcoming and they all spoke good English. We felt welcomed right away. From the reception desk, to the cleaning ladies and the personnel at breakfast, they are all so kind and attentive that made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options, a good selection of everything and something different each day so you wouldn’t get tired of the same food. I loved the croissants although I admit I expected fresh made pancakes and omelets! The concierge was very helpful and corresponded to our needs. Generally we had a wonderful customer experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Carefully write a review of the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, three nights in Florence, 2 nights PORTRAIT, 1 night to experience the seasons, give the following suggestions: 1) Service: Say service first, personal feeling, PORTRAIT service is more cordial and enthusiastic. There is WELCOME DRINK at the door, with beer and red wine and other drinks. There is a doorman from Russia who is very enthusiastic and can really describe himself as a guest. If you leave, you will also ask if you want to bring bottled water. Four seasons, no one can say bad, but it is very standard and professional, but there is no temperature. PORTRAIT won. 2) Location: The four seasons are far from the attractions, but not far away. The distance cannot be said to be a weak item. The hotel has a garden, but it is not very big, but it is okay (refer to the size of Shanghai Garden Hotel). Moreover, mainly, the garden layout is not very special. PORTRAIT is on the edge of the old bridge, the most central location, everything is convenient. PORTRAIT won. 3) Price: Four seasons more than 7900 35M2, no early; PORTRAIT 4500 one night / 4900 one night, 40M2, but the hotel gave me a rise, lived 53 room type, including 2 early. PORTRAIT won again. 4) Room decoration: the room, the four seasons are European style, or the law-abiding; PORTRAIT is more modern, also comes with a simple kitchen cabinet, you can eat yourself. Personally, the style is like PORTRAIT. 2 bedding products are good. 5) Four seasons, because the price is much more expensive, my heart naturally demands him. Service I scored 4 points because it was not special and the price was not good. The Michelin-starred PALAGIO restaurant has also tried, and can only say that it is okay, not surprising, and quite satisfactory. 6) Four seasons should be expensive in many additions? For example, I saw that there is still a hairdressing. It is estimated that the SPA is also very good, but it is not used. In addition, there are swimming pools in the four seasons, but it is not big or open. PORTRAIT does not have a swimming pool. The above hopes have a reference to later people.

We were really looking forward to our stay in the Palazzo Castri, but ended up being very disappointed. We had a Junior Suite and it was rather small. The bathroom was right next to the sleeping area and had glass on the doors, Thus, if someone got up to use the bathroom at night and turned on the lights, it would wake up the other person. In addition, the noise coming from the heating/air system was very loud. Even with ear plugs we could hear it (my wife's parents had room next to us for 1 night and it kept them up all night). We could also hear noise from rooms all around us. They did move us our room after the first night and it got a little better. We called to order extra pillows and had to call 3x (each time). The breakfast was ok. The breads were rather stale. The evening tea was also disappointing. They would run out of desserts and it would take a while to restock the trays. On the positive side, the hotel garden is beautiful. After our room was moved we had a beautiful view of the Duomo. The manager went out of her way to help us and she was very nice. The problems with the rooms etc are out of her control. The hotel is just not built very well. The location of the hotel is a short walk from the train station and very central to everything in Florence. Overall, very disappointed in our experience. Probably would look for another hotel in Florence.
