0.5km from Croque moiNo book through hotel website, it’s better use Booking, Expedia or other Online Travel Agency, they give you more guarantees and confidence. See my reason below. I am very Disappointing with the booking management of your hotel that cost me more thar 100EUR. The 23 of october I have booked a room from the 17 to 22 of november. The 15/11 (two day before my arrival) the hotel has unilaterally without consultation cancelled the booking based on "credit card did not work", as a note, the same day of the cancellation, i had paid a hotel in Vienna (the credit card was full operative). My reaction was to call intermediately to the hotel trying to solve this issue and keep the booking, in reception told me that i was not possible to keep the booking and it was necessary to do a new one. Mi surprise was that the new booking was more that 100 EUR more expensive. Due to the agenda issues and business meeting that i had in Paris, i have re-booked. To sum up, i had a booking confirmation with hotel that the hotel cancelled without warning me in advance, two days before my arrival. If the hotel had called me, i would have given you an alternative card. The result is that the new booking is significantly more expensive.
0.71km from Croque moiAgreed, this hotel is not next to Eiffel Tower and on other end than Gare de l’est but what a find. I never expected slippers, robe and toiletries for this price. This hotel has it all. Single room is big enough for one. Bijoux, but everything one needs for a comfortable stay. In the adjacent streets loads of options for restaurants and shops (pharmacy, spa, boutiques, supermarket) and a Saturday market around the corner. Metro station is 1 block away. It takes about half an hour to ride to tourist attractions, but I don’t mind as I’m in a quiet part of town. And you usually stay in the city all day anyway.
0.85km from Croque moiRoom was very small, barely enough room to fit 2 adults. Floor to bathroom entrance had a dip so had to be careful walking in and out of it. Bathroom was clean but compact. Breakfast was €12 per person per day - juice, croissant, pastry, bread, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, coffee machine on offer which was sufficient for us. We tried breakfast from some of the local cafes and none offered cooked breakfast, only croissant, juice and coffee/tea and more expensive than hotel. Our room faced Rue Sebastian Mercier but was very quiet (I’m a very light sleeper). Only noise came from people talking in the hallway and room doors banging close, nothing from the street. Tiniest elevator, 3 person capacity, or one person with suitcase, Location was great, abt 7 mins walk to metro and train. We did walk to Eiffel Tower one day becoz the trains were not running due to the yellow vests protest - that took us abt 30 mins along the river. Lovely walk but watch out for dog poo.
0.87km from Croque moiWe love this hotel because of their a clean beds, floors, toilet and bath! We booked 2 rooms. 1 double and 1 family. the location is great and the reception/concierge are very accommodating. Definitely recommend!
0.87km from Croque moiVery nice small hotel. Very convenient location and the staff is friendly. The terrace on top of the courtyard is very nice and convenient. You can choose between courtyard room or street room. The rooms are small but very nice

0.87km from Croque moiThis hotel was the biggest blunder I did in my complete tour booking through my Travel Agent. I just had in mind Mercure and Eiffel and was all the time looking at the pictures of Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel. It was a big shock when I arrived at the hotel, as it was no where near to what I had seen on TA. So it is a word of caution that there are a lot of properties of Mercure in Paris and please don't get confused like me. However in regards to the hotel, the rooms were TINY, with not even proper space to open your luggage or walk around, leaving aside the probability of an extra bed. The bed size is queen or maybe even smaller, as it was difficult for to adjust. The breakfast layout was very limited with hardly any vegetarian options. The staff is the biggest positive of the hotel, those guys were very co-operative in every sense. The location is decent, as a lot of restaurants and shopping areas are at walking distance. The property is good for people travelling on business tours alone.
0.88km from Croque moiHad a one night stay here on a business trip to Paris. A very impressive chic hotel with decor to match. Very comfortable room (102) with street view. Hotel is spotless. For Paris the room size was a pleasant surprise, large double bed & plenty of room. Excellent shower that blows you away or wakes you up as needed! Very well appointed bedroom, with complimentary water, a chiller in wardrobe & allthe facilities you will need. Breakfast provided a very good range of continental offerings along with some hot food selections. Staff were very friendly, polite & helpful. The hotel has a small bar & a lrager area to relax in. It is an 'honesty' bar. One helps themselves & then complete a form as to what drinks are taken. This is then added to your bill. While I appreciate it is out of season for Paris room/breakfast £116.00 - bargain! Hotel area is surrounded by residential properties but restaurants and bars are all a couple of minutes walk. Definitely recommend Bistro 31 (3 mins away , see separate review) Overall an excellent hotel and would definitely recommend as a hotel of choice for Paris as many attractions are a nearby via a good stroll or worst case Metro/Taxi.
0.92km from Croque moiThe good point is that the staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. However, do not expect to have comfort. The first night I could barely sleep as the heating was extremely noisy. Plus the shower was not working properly (you have to hold it as it was not possible to attach it to the wall as it was broken. In the next day I complained and I got another room which was ok in terms if noisy but same problem with the shower. I do not recommend it.

0.92km from Croque moiThe location was perfect, near with Jasmin Metro Station. Old but well-managed. Room was comfortable with fully equipped kitchen tools. Sofa bed was provided in living area. Toiletries (Shampoo and Bath Soap) provided 1 time during your visit. Please consider if you need elevator, because they don't provide it. The elevator especially for special suite room. Other than that, using stairs. However, overall was good
1.19km from Croque moiOkay, a little bit of backstory. One thing Paris is short of and that is decent-sized open-air swimming pools. The five-star Hotel Molitor is built around one of the few such pools which used to be public but is sadly, no more. Therefore the management know they are on a winner by offering such a facility and as a result, charge like a wounded bull for the privilege of staying there. On a very hot weekend in Paris, we decided to decamp there for the night to escape our apartment which had been converted into a sauna, thanks to the heatwave. Our hotel rate did not include breakfast so this is what we found. The service, albeit friendly, was not the most efficient (granted the hotel was full of stressed Parisians seeking relief from the intense heat). The staff appeared to be very young, inexperienced and utterly overwhelmed. The rooms are small and in that typical “we-are-so-hip” design approach full of flaws when it comes to practical needs. Such as the bedside tables especially on one side, are so small you can barely fit more than your mobile phone. We also had issues with the toilet barely flushing. The hotel layout means there is just one lift servicing the pool and spa area which meant people finding themselves crowded into the lift. Far from brilliant in a Covid-19 era. Mask-wearing was not enforced inside this area. The wifi connection was very poor (especially again given the price we were paying). The area around the pool is so narrow that it is impossible to walk past people in their chairs without disturbing them and there were barely enough chairs to begin with. The rooftop area is fantastic with lovely views of the city, Roland Garros in the distance. However, the restaurant there was fully-booked (please oh please, management, do suggest to people when they book a room that if they would like dinner too, they need to book in advance.) We did manage to score a table in the rooftop bar and ordered what was supposed to be “tapas” which turned out to be just bread rolls with glass jars of hummus, pepper dip etc. Massively over-priced for what was delivered to our table. Plus the service was pretty appalling; on three occasions we had to stand and wave our arms to attract the attention of waiters. So in short, with global tourism coming to an almost halt, the hotel will have to rely on locals to survive (best of luck there as the French, especially Parisians, are a highly-discriminating bunch). But to any international visitors who somehow do find themselves in Paris during a pandemic, I would strongly recommend to stay somewhere else. You will get far better value for money at smaller Paris hotel with no pool and hopefully better service .. and thus experience the best this city has to offer.

1.22km from Croque moiGreat hotel very convenient to the Eiffel Tower and a shopping area is next door. Hotel is all about Marilyn Monroe so very cool decorating. Hotel was very clean and front desk was exceptioanlly helpful. Their english was very good which helped when trying to learn how to get to certain places. Rooms are very small which seems to be the norm in France. But we were busy sight-seeing so that wasn't an issue. We had a car so being able to use their arrangement with a nearby parking garage was great. Would highly recommend the Platine Hotel.
1.23km from Croque moiWe stayed in Paris for 4 nights - the first 2 in Disneyland Hotel for the children (and us too being honest), then over to central Paris for 2 city nights. We were looking forward to the Square, having booked one of the best rooms. The area the hotel was in wasn’t very pretty but can live with that. The entrance to the hotel was small and the reception very small and quiet. We noticed how hot it was but thought nothing of it initially. On getting to the room it felt so hot - the a/c was apparently on max but we couldn’t see anywhere it could possibly be coming out and no noise. Thermometer on the wall was 29.2 Celsius. The same man came back to check (he seemed to be doing concierge luggage and maintenance) fiddled with the controls and nothing happened over 30 mins. Temperature was now rising. Shown another room and just as hot. After 1.5 hours decided we couldn’t stay and went to another hotel despite travelling with 2 autistic children (it takes a lot to suddenly change in those circumstances). Such a disappointment as the room was lovely in terms of size and decor. However we are sure there isn’t actually any air conditioning and were very surprised how few people were working. 1 receptionist and 1 person doing everything else isn’t ok for a supposed 5* Hotel.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.
Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!
We recently stayed 3 nights at Le General Hotel (Mar 9-12, 2020). We were warmly greeted by Gaëlle as soon as the doors opened and we’re very impressed by the hospitality through the check in process (take a seat, would you like tea or coffee, enjoy some baked goods). It was the most pleasant experience after a very long day of travel & so nice compared to the typical wait in line at a cold desk waiting for your room key! Gaëlle who welcomed us, also took some time to answer some questions my husband and I had, including giving us some maps (of the local area, and of the Paris city centre/transit map) and offered some suggestions on where to eat and what to visit. She spoke English well, made us laugh & was a great first impression for the hotel (she also didn’t make us feel like were were putting her out)! Our room was very clean, comfortable and well styled for such a small room (which seems common in Paris) - we even had a balcony which was a very nice surprise! I’m not easily pleased at hotels - typically because of the bathrooms, but everything was clean, and no visible Mold in the shower/tub combo and in the corners of the bathroom floors. Great shower pressure & hot hot water, and the (Skinjay) essential oil shower pods were a very nice touch. We slept great - nice comfortable bed & pillows. We had 1 large suitcase, and 2 small wheeled carry on suitcases. The space was tight (we managed to get our large suitcase opened on the floor between the door, bathroom and bed when we needed to access it) but it was enough space for 2 people. Complements to your cleaning staff, the level of clean remained consistent on each day we stayed (fresh bedding/towels), the coffee station (Nespresso!) & complementary bottled water was restocked every day. We were thankful for the small safe in the room (something that wasn’t offered in other hotels I considered). As first time visitors in Paris, we were unsure of the location, but having the Metro station so close (Republique) we were able to take the train in time to see the sunset at the Eiffel Tower on our 1st night, during our sightseeing & took it back to Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of a taxi to save ourselves (30€) on our way home. We were impressed how easy and clear the metro was to use (we never got lost or confused) and bought t+ tickets (carnet de 10 - 16,90€) for travelling around Paris sightseeing. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, as there were many places we wanted to eat at on our short trip, so we cannot comment on that aspect of our stay. We used the free wifi in the evenings and didn’t have any issues with it, fast & no interruptions in service. On our last day Rachelle, upon checked out, offered to keep our luggage so we could enjoy our last hour in the city before heading to the airport. We had asked about where we could go to buy macarons as we had forgot & ran out of time. Rachelle & Morgane saved the day and offered us a complementary box - talk
For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
