The location is very good, Pilsen is not big, it is very close to the square and the brewery. The Angus Steakhouse is 50 meters away from the river. The price is very high, and the per capita 100 is very good. Not far from the café is delicious, it seems to be called PAPA, public comment can be found.

We (3 people) stayed one night in the Appartement Livingstone from the Hotel Rounda. It was really nice (completely new), big (a whole Appartement), very clean and had a good location (quiet and just 5-10 walking minutes away from the main square). We had a bedroom with one double bed and a very comfortable side bed/second bed for 2. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend the Apartment Livingstone to anyone. It is in another house and not directly in the hotel, so you have to walk 2 minutes to the breakfast in the hotel, but that was no problem for us. If there would also be beer in the (very big) fridge, you would even get 6 stars from us 😉

We recently spent a week in Pilsen and used Hotel Palace for our accommodation. Our room was very clean with a good quality bed and a well equiped bathroom. Breakfast was the typical continental self serve type of affair and more than adequate to our needs. Were the hotel really shines is in its location. It's located on a quiet street, but is easy walking distance from the main square in the centre of the city and the Pilsner Urquell brewery. Additionally, there is a well stocked supermarket less than five minutes walk from the hotel. So, if you're a self catering sort or want the fixings for snacks to take on a day trip out of the city you have easy access to that as well. I have no problem recommending this place if you visit Pilsen.

Hotel Trend is situated in a very good location, at walking distance from the center. The building and the interior seems reasonably modest, however, the great advantage is that the rooms are very spacious and rich in good surfaces and space for storing and leaving your things. Also the bathroom was quite big, although it was harder to find a place where to put one own things. The internet worked great and the beds were very comfortable. Alltogether the room was unexpectedly comfortable, considering that the building didn't look exactly modern and that the hotel is not having the latest "luxury" touches (like a card for opening the door). The bathrooms might need a renovation though. Although ok, it was clearly outdated. In general, the room was quite clean and tidy. Breakfast was also quite good. There was a good variation, but some of the food I took (some sweet bread and cake) was a bit dry and probably not fresh. It would be nice to see more organic and "homemade" food. The stay was also quite priceworthy. The staff friendly. For few nights it is a very good choice!

Hi, my family and I visited your hotel on 11 Dec 2018 and we are part of a group from Singapore. We arrived on 11 Dec 2018 at approximately 7pm. Upon entering the hotel, our tour manager, approached the reception staff member, a gentleman wearing the name tag: Vojtech for our tour group’s room keys. Mr Vojtech commented to our tour leader to “ask your people to stand on the other side.” While our tour leader may not have taken offence to that remark, as a guest of your hotel, I find it appalling that guests of Park Hotel are referred to as ‘your people’ and the tone of Mr Vojtech. He was rude and demeaning. Moreover, he refused to render our tour manager any help when requested. I understand that Mr Vojtech may not be in the power to help our tour manager with his request, the way he replied was again, impolite: his words were: ‘ I cannot do everything for you! You must do it yourself!’ What was more appalling was when I approached the bar staff - a lady to purchase some bottled water with no gas. Upon hearing my need to purchase some water, she pointed to the left, without saying anything or giving any directions. Unsure of what she meant and where I should proceed, I asked again, ‘is it outside?’, she replied bluntly: ‘reception’. Naturally, I approached the reception where Mr Vojtech was situated. Before I could finish my request to purchase water, he pointed back at the bar when we told him that the lady at the bar had directed us to him. He then asked impatiently, ‘what do you want? Hot Water???”. We clarified that we wished to purchase spring water which he later advised the price and we purchased 5 bottles. We thought perhaps it was due to a difference in culture and language use so the reason for Mr Vjotech calling us ‘Your People!’, however, what happened later further cemented the fact that Mr Vjotech is downright rude and condescending and definitely not a customer service ambassador a Front Desk Manager should be. We did not appreciate Mr Vojtech’s mannerism and service. Having arrived in the beautiful country of the Czech Republic 2 days ago, we have been impressed by the great hospitality of the Czech people but that cannot be said of Mr Vojtech. Moreover, it is disappointing that such service is from not a junior member of your hotel but one of management level, especially one of a 4-star hotel. ParkHotel Plzen, is as quoted on her website as being “Your Second Home“ and to have a staff member at Managerial level not being able to keep up to the most basic level of service - being polite to guests, is disappointing. In fact, when our tour group of over 30 guests entered the hotel and found out that your hotel was playing host to the Roma Football Team, we were excited and even commented: This hotel must be good that even Roma is staying here! Sadly, Mr Vojtech’s service has been a letdown right from the onset. Such service should not be condoned given our o

The hotel is situated outside city centre in a residential area and actually not easy to find. The parking lot was almost empty every day, so lot of space. We did not see many other guests at the hotel apart from us. The breakfast area was empty with little food to choose from. The dinner we had was expensive and not very good. The room had poor lighting and so did the stairs up from the lobby as the electricity was activated, probably by moving sensor. I stumbled couple of times, before I figured out how it works, but this is not supposed to happen at all. Couple of time we experienced that we were gazed at by the staff from other areas having views to the breakfast area, which was strange. During breakfast we experienced staff coming to us to take order, only never to come back. The children were confused and dissapointed over this kind of service, and we got less breakfast. The staff was not service-oriented at any moment of our stay.

Located on the outskirts of Pilsen, Hotel York is an average hotel for an average price. Rooms are all differently styled, but nothing extra. WiFi works well in rooms as well as restaurant. My room had horribly stained floors and was not clean at check-in (16:00). Attached is a restaurant which offered good service, but not a wide-menu selection. Beds were hard and not comfortable.

1. I stayed in the hotel with a little bit of anticipation and expectations. The reason is that I read many reviews before booking. Some are not very good, most of them are old equipment, and the service attitude is poor. Old equipment is a fact. Service I think the attitude is okay, the handsome waiter at the counter, good English and good attitude! 2. A little puzzled, come to check-in during the off-season, the hotel's housing rate is low, but the room for us is a mountain wall, there is no view at all room type, the mood is disappointed! 3. The hotel is divided into the main building and the annex building. It is evaluated that someone has stayed in the annex building, even the restaurant for breakfast, and the restaurant in the main building is not a grade. The main building. Sure enough, staying in the main building, the breakfast restaurant is too beautiful, the breakfast is also great, is the biggest highlight of the stay!

We spent only 4 days in this hotel including my birthday. Not the first time in Karlovy Vary, but the first time staying outside the city centre. This complex of a few buildings connected with an underground spa / health facilities is truly elegant, stylish and well maintained. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. We stayed in a very big suite with a balcony facing a lovely garden. Breakfast was really varied; however, the large breakfast room was a bit overcrowded during the weekends. There are 4 tables outside and the place would benefit from more, particularly in summer. Although the hotel is not located in the city centre, with a car one can get to the city centre in about 10 minutes. There are a few restaurants within walking distance as well. As the weather was rather good, we did not use the pool and wellness/fitness facilities every day but we had a couple of massages and used the pool. All good.

I took the bus in Prague. After getting off the bus, I entered the town by crossing the road. I went to the navigation, but reminded everyone, just follow the direction of the navigation. Karlovy Vary City Center
The main feature of Bristol Palace is the beautiful, impressive building it occupies, in one of the highest point on the "spa" side of the river in Karlovy Vary (don't underestimate the slope, especially if you are carrying some luggage), not far from the main colonnade though. The place has history and character and one can see it right from the outside. The main building is part of a large compound that includes smaller hotels and places for spa treatment, all connected by a maze-like underground system of corridors and lifts. I had a nice, large room on the top floor with amazing view. The room was clean but it surprises me that in a hotel of this level the blankets are not replaced daily - they were simply folded and put back on their place, all crumpled as they can be after a night sleep. Very strange. The common areas are beautiful, even though some things were not running due to the still slow restart of the touristic season. The swimming pool has nice water tricks and the Jacuzzi is truly comfortable. The staff was overall good: top marks to Cristina, the friendly, smiling, multilingual young lady at the reception, and to the gentleman at the swimming pool. The bar and breakfast room was waited by quite nice people even though with limited language skills, the night receptionist could do with better manners though. The breakfast was good and abundant, they changed the cooked offer regularly, but the absence of a coffee machine for cappuccino or espresso is totally unacceptable for a place of this level. I had to order cappuccino separately, a person had to go to the bar and do it for me and charge me for the pleasure. Truly weird. Also, the hotel could make a better use of the beautiful park, where a bar service would fit perfectly (one can order from the bar inside and get some drinks outside, but there were very limited seats outside). I suppose that these things probably run in a smoother way when the hotel is full and there is probably more staff too so I don't complain. Overall a good place, but with some few easy corrections (a coffee machine, for example...) it would be perfect.

The room is a large suite with a nice view. The photos were taken in the room or on the balcony of the room. There are parking spaces, but not too much. We only spent 1 night in Hotel Venus, but we got a good nights sleep. The room was average size, clean, nice large bed with comfortable mattress, all the necessary amenities. The sink in the bathroom had weird small marks on it, like something hot had at some point came out and burnt the surface of the sink (was thinking maybe it had something to do with the hot springs). We were not able to enjoy the breakfast as we left very early before breakfast start (at 7 am). The front desk staff was friendly, although the level of English could have been better. However, since most of the tourists in Karlovy Vary are Russian or German, I can understand those languages will have priority over English in this resort. The hotel is right in the city center, which makes access by car very difficult. We had to park some 20 min walking distance.

Some things were great about this hotel and others have room for improvement, starting with check-in. Not sure if the lukewarm greeting was because we are nit Russian or whether things were lost in translation. We had to emphatically state that the booking was indeed for three people and not two and then one, as they wanted us to believe. (We were three people standing there with three big bags). The room itself was huge - a living area, a separate bedroom and a huge bathroom with a big corner bath. However, no sign of a third bed - in spite of requesting mo the ago, a king size bed and twin singles. Reluctantly a churlish young lady came and wanted to separate the king into twin singles. With no grace she then made up the sofa and would not accept our offer of help. However she need not have bothered because a worse sofa bed you will be hard pushed to find. The bed folds out at an angle, the mattress is very thin and every metal bar from the fold it base could be felt. Therefore, my daughter slept a night on the floor. Looking forward to the spa area we went to the top floor. The spa or whirlpool can sit 5 at a pinch but the jets do not work well in all sections. The ladder into the whirlpool is really dangerous - you are better off hoping in from the side. The pool was freezing and the jets available there did not work either. Finding a list of so a treatments required tenacity - unless you can read Czech or Russian. We got one from a cleaner but chose to do other things instead. Breakfast was surprisingly good - sufficient variety. Best thing about the hotel was its location. - easy access everything we wanted to do.

10-days stay with full board and medical program have made me and my wife feel a real relaxation. The chief never made the same dish twice during our stay, I would especially recommend duck and cutlets from three kinds of meet. A standard room was spacious and fresh, and had a regular window beside of the two attic ones (I think that two other rooms at the 5th floor have attic windows only). Everybody starting from reception to waiters and nurses are very attentive. Pearl bath and massages are pleasant and helpful. 100 m from colonnade and cigar room on the 1st floor add to the comfortable stay. Special thanks to all the staff, especially - to Marek and Teresa (because of them and of the chief we never had a thought about eating outside). I would love to repeat the experience next year. By the way, Peter the Great stayed at this very building in 2017 (photo)!
