|7.46km from city centerThe hotel resort is strategically located in reasonable distance from Palma and close to many nice locations of western Mallorca. The whole hotel resort is quite nice and well kept, especially the gardens: the style is peculiar, rather exotic African colonial, and sometimes a bit tacky (exotic animal figures, elephant tusks, animalier style everywhere, etc.). It is ideal for families and children, who enjoy themselves a lot. We were a couple in our middle adulthood who like to travel and enjoy life. Upon arrival we decided to upgrade from our chosen room to a suite, paying the difference of price, and the staff was quick to react (but no option of free room upgrade was offered though). Unfortunately no one from the front desk explained us anything about the classical hotel information (wi-fi, breakfast times, availability of restaurants, how to get to the beach, nice places to visit in the area, etc, etc.). Moreover we found it very alienating and unpleasant that some of the staff at the front desk reception hasn't even greeted or looked at us during the whole 5 days stay, while we were of course normally friendly when passing by. This is not acceptable at all. The suite was ok, quality of materials varies a lot and no big water bottle was provided on a daily basis except on arrival, during an exceptional August heatwave: again not acceptable. We did not use many facilities, so we cannot judge the pool or the spa. Breakfast was not bad, but not particularly good either: very basic. Big professional automated coffee making machines are nowadays very common in some hotels, but we would have been willing to pay extra for a nice cappuccino or espresso from a proper Cimbali coffee machine or similar. We had one dinner in the nicer restaurant and it was ok. As already said, we did experience almost none proactiveness from the staff in terms of giving info, offering services and no one asked us if we were doing fine during our whole 5 days stay. As said, some front desk personnel did not even look at us and greet us. There has also been an awkward, weird incident when a lady from the reception started to speak wild, angry Spanish with the local personnel, making a big fuss of 50 cents which were kindly offered by them because I did not have change for a 20 Euro note at the cigarettes vending machine. She thought I would not understand Spanish, but even by her hysterical reaction anyone would have been offended. It’s not appropriate at all to make a guest feel bad and talk about her/him in another language, hotel personnel to hotel personnel, in such a way, in front of her/him, for a nonsense. It’s so rude and unprofessional! Last but not least, on the last day, as we had a very late flight, we asked for a late checkout opportunity option. In 5 seconds we were told that the only option was luggage in the back room of the reception and shower in the spa area: again, we would have been willing to pay an additional fee for the same room or a smaller one, fo

|6.29km from city centerWe just spent 4 nights a short family holiday with our 8 and 4 years old daughter at the Bordoy Don Antonio Hotel in Paguera. We chose this hotel because it was so well rated on Internet. The hotel looks quite good for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable but they remind me of the 90ies. We booked a sea view room and expected it to have it in the front of the terrace but instead it was rather a sea side view as we had to turn our head by almost 60 degrees to see it. We enjoyed a lot the different swimming pools and our trips to Paguera, Santa Ponca and Andratx. The service was very good and the team at the hotel were very friendly. It is also great that the hotel has a bus shuttle to Paguera on an hourly basis, so that you can drive to the village and the beach in 3 minutes. You can also walk down there in 10-15 minutes or take a car as we did. The hotel also has animation for the kids, but it´s literally a 1-man show, so I really felt very sorry for the guy doing it. He was very motivated and did the best he could to entertain the kids at the pool and in the evening in the kids disco. What can additionally be improved is definitely the quality of the food in the evening and also the restaurant itself, which reminded us of a big canteen. It was also annoying that we were supposed to pay for a safe (I don´t remember the last time I was asked to do so) and that the minibar was locked in our room. All in all it´s a good 4 star hotel in Paguera.

|6.79km from city centerStayed for 6 days in an apartment type room with 2 and 5 year old children. I would like to visit again.
good
1. It is true that there is a slope from the sea to the hotel, but it is a distance that even a 2-year-old child can walk. 5 minutes walk.
2. Stayed in room 776. The room was an apartment type with a kitchen and it was easy to live. The equipment is basically complete. If you tell the receptionist, they will give you a detergent and a sponge. Beach towels are rented with a deposit of 10 euros per sheet. If you want to change it, they will respond quickly. The deposit will be returned on the last day. No seasoning.
3. Dinner is a buffet with many items. 2 year olds are free and it was about 30 euros for 2 people. I felt that cospa was good.
4. A convenience store-like supermarket is next to it, 3 seconds on foot.
5. ALDI, a regular supermarket, is about 15 minutes away on foot. There are slopes and it was difficult for a 2-year-old to walk, but no problem for adults.
6. Marineland? 10 minutes by taxi to the small aquarium. If there are many people, it is more profitable than the local bus. It's a small aquarium, but there were dolphin and bird shows, and the children really enjoyed themselves.
7. I took a tour of the Palma Aquarium at the reception. This includes bus and ticket. This bus goes directly to the aquarium without going to a souvenir shop. The stay was long enough.
8. There were activities such as a children's dance program, and the children enjoyed themselves.
9. The nearby sea has a long beach and a little rocky area, so if you get tired of the beach, you can look for crabs and shellfish on the rocky area and have fun with your children. The beach in front of the hotel is long, and it was very nice to cycle on a rental bike that can hold 4 people. Rental bikes can be rented at the shop in front of the beach.
bad
1. All cash payments in the hotel. There is an ATM inside the hotel, but it is a little inconvenient. It also charges a fee.
2. Depending on your tastes, I thought the breakfast was not worth the 22 euros. After all, my child ate bread, yogurt, and cereals, so I bought them at the supermarket next door and ate them in my room.
3. The airport shuttle bus often stayed at the hotel, but the receptionist would not tell me. The hotel can only call a taxi, and the bus should be checked and booked by yourself. I wanted to know at least the company name, but they didn't tell me. You must have seen the same bus company name hundreds of times (even I saw the same bus about 5 times. You should write down the name when you see the bus). The local bus to the airport is cheap, but the bus stop is ALDI direction. If you are an adult, you can walk with a suitcase, but if you have children, it will be difficult. A taxi to the airport is around €45 each way.
4. Affiliated tours are the worst. We booked a boat tour inside the cave. At 9:00, the time spent in the cave is only 1 hour and 20 minutes. After going around souvenir shops → jewelry shops, we finally arrive at the cave. Lost time is more than 1 hour. So 69 euros for 3 people is too expensive and I don't recommend it. The child is bored and bored. There are many tourists in the cave, and there is a long line to enter. This 1 hour and 20 minutes includes everything, so I was only in the cave for about 40 minutes. The boat that can be boarded inside the cave takes 2 minutes, but the waiting time is over 30 minutes, so it is physically impossible to get on in time for the tour bus meeting time. We recommend renting a car. This is the only bad thing this time.

|5.91km from city centerRecently stayed for 4 nights as a short break for me and my mum. All of the staff we encountered were lovely. The room itself was basic which we expected, but clean and the kitchen space had decent facilities. We knew in advance that there were a lot of steps but we underestimated how difficult this would be with a heavy case! We were in a top floor apartment and we had a number of pigeons that liked to spend time on the balcony and make a mess of our clothes, so don't leave things out to dry for too long! Unfortunately we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel in the end due to the fact that there were a lot of large groups staying there. They made a lot of noise late into the night (doors slamming, shouting, furniture being moved etc.) so we didn't get a lot of sleep. We considered asking for a room move but we thought it wouldn't make a difference because there were so many groups scattered around the hotel. It also meant we didn't use the pool because it was taken over by the groups playing ball games in the shallow end of the pool. We didn't see many families with children having the opportunity to use the pool either. What we saw of the evening entertainment was good but poorly attended as most of the groups of guests were going out for the night. Overall, the hotel itself is clean and in a good location, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing break with the family.

|6.25km from city centerWe simply cannot say enough good things about this Kimpton property. From the staff to the accommodations, the food & beverage options to the landscaping & spa, everything was fantastic. A last minute choice, we are so glad we made the trip and hope to return soon! First Impression: From the moment we were brought to the front of the property, we knew we had made a good choice. The property, its parking lot, edifice, & landscaping, was in immaculately kept condition. The entrance is humble with only some orange trees, shrubbery, vines, and some small understated branding. Getting There from the airport: This hotel is located in an isolated, quiet residential neighborhood, nearly a half of an hour from the more active city of Palma, & it offers a wonderful serenity. Coming in the off tourist season as we did made it even quieter. For those who might wish to explore the island, beyond the resort, parking for the rental car you will want is inexpensive overnight. Staff Experience: 5/5. Excellent. The staff was truly wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. All guest-facing employees we met were stellar. The team’s collective vibe really felt just right. Fancy enough, informal enough, real. Alina made us feel genuinely welcome. We loved seeing the enthusiasm Aitara showed for the brand. Miguel, history scholar, was very social & made us feel quite comfortable. Laura, the front office manager, was very kind, as she aided us with modifying our airport transportation and check out. Special thanks to Carolina S., who not only answered our usual guest questions but also took time to show some room types & explain a great deal about the property. Our stay would truly not have been the same without her. We thank all these any others who may have contributed to making our experience what it was. We felt the #kimptonlove Accommodations: 5/5. Excellent. We were assigned a “King Premium” room type, (1304), and we were very happy. Our IHG Preferences of a room on a high floor that is away from the elevator were accommodated. We slept in a King bed, watched television from the sofa (where a third person could reasonably sleep), and snacked on an amenity at the small dinette table provided in the room. It had a balcony for lounging with a nice view and the fully stocked minibar offered many drink options. The bathroom included a rain shower w/ separate tub & direct bathroom access to the balcony. Design elements were chosen from the locality and create a stylish & modern, yet relaxed feel. Other accommodation options were available. We learned to book the Presidential Suite if one would like the private hot tub on your balcony and your own olive tree for martinis. Essential or classic rooms are perfect for the restaurant, bar, pool, gym, or spa-dweller, but the view may not be optimal from your room. Families may prefer a couple of essential rooms, since some of those do have connecting doors. If hammocks are your thing, corner rooms with pri

|5.15km from city centerWir waren dieses Jahr zum 2. Mal dort.

|7.4km from city centerHotel is really nice, clean, really good location. Kids loved the pools and slides but they weren't allowed floats in the pools. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The main thing that lets this hotel down is the food, ended up having to eat out most of the time as the food was disgusting and freezing cold. There was enough choice for the kids to eat, pasta, pizza, nuggets and fries but everything was cold, not even warm. The food obviously had been sitting for some time. Very disappointing as we paid for all inclusive, there was no snack bar either, the only thing at the bar pool was tubs of ice cream so nothing else to eat in-between meal times. We wont b returning to this hotel

|7.45km from city centerI saw a lot of bad reviews before departure, so I checked into this hotel with trepidation; I didn't expect the bad reviews in the reviews to be completely false! As a senior traveler, I have stayed in countless star-rated hotels. This one feels pretty good to me. The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to the beach, and the service attitude of the staff is excellent. There is no regional discrimination at all. Breakfast and There are many kinds of dinner, the swimming pool is small, but the atmosphere is good, especially in the morning, the music is very loud, the only disadvantage is that the design of the shower in the room is not good, after taking a shower, the water in the bathroom overflows the door, it takes a long time careful! Overall, I am satisfied and have a pleasant journey!

|6.51km from city centerMy wife and I stayed here with our 1 year old daughter from the 12th-22nd of Sep for our first holiday as a family and we were very impressed with the MarSenses Rosa Del Mar. Upon arrival the receptionist staff were very attentive and friendly, and they always were at any time of passing throughout our stay. Everywhere throughout the hotel was cleaned to a high standard, even by the pool area. There was a great selection for breakfast, and the chefs and staff in the restaurant were always lovely, spending time with each table and keeping the place well stocked and tables cleared swiftly. Pablo and Vicky the entertainment team during the day were great at setting the perfect level of participation, letting you know when and where the next activity was going to be but not being pushy or forceful in doing so (something that was very appreciated with a small child). Overall we had an amazing holiday in Palma Nova at this hotel, and will hopefully be fortunate enough to bring our little girl back when she’s older to be able to enjoy the slides at the splash pool!

|7.27km from city centerI have always liked the brand melia. So if there is a melia hotel, they will always choose melia. This time there were some problems when placing an order on Ctrip, but fortunately it was resolved. Let's talk about the hotel again, the hotel has a name called the level, knock on the blackboard! When you stay at the Melia Hotel, if you have the level, you must not miss it, even if it is a bit more expensive. As far as I know, both menorca and Mallorca's melia are available. With this service, enjoy a specific pool and breakfast area. There is also afternoon tea and various cocktails. It's really out of the universe. The design of the hotel also likes it very much, the simple white color, the aunty cleans the hygiene every day. The only drawback, perhaps an advantage for others, is that there is a nikki beach bar next to it. It is said to be the hottest bar in the area. There will always be a lot of people at outdoor parties in the afternoon. I am personally noisy, and I am too old to be able to play

|6.81km from city centerLovely hotel...although we arrived in a wind storm and the noise in the hotel corridors was loud and rather spooky! Everything calmed down the next day and we enjoyed all the pools, cocktails and spa facilities. Breakfasts and dinners both excellent, car hire really easy (although we asked for the car to be changed as the air conditioning had broken) and there was no sat nav, so it was back to good old map reading! Rooms comfortable and slightly snug. The only downside was our welcome - or lack of it - from a stout, middle aged lady dressed in black, who was miserable, unhelpful and did not create the great first impressions we all hope for when we arrive at a hotel. 10 out of 10 to Monica who helped us with our taxi back to the airport and also the front of house porter who was lovely and picked us up in the free shuttle bus to Paguera. Would we go back? Yes we would

|5.11km from city centerAfter spending 1 week at the Vibra Beverly Playa this Summer, we must say that we were so delighted that we are thinking of going back there next time, too. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was good, the food was varied, and the staff were particularly delightful, not only at the reception but everywhere and especially in the restaurant and bar. The hotel is perfectly located by the beach as well as the lively boulevard with all its people, shops, bars and gastronomy. Paguera is a quiet spot with no unpleasant incidences, ideal for exactly our age range. Thank you for looking after us so wonderfully.

|6.77km from city centerJust back from a 2 week stay at this hotel. We had a great time and would return. We stayed in a loft junior suite which was very spacious and modern it could have done with a few more drawers but we managed. Each day you get 2 beers, 2 waters and 2 juices free of charge. Pool Area: The pool opened at 10:00 which was great nobody putting towels on sunbeds at stupid o’clock, you never struggle to get a bed anytime of the day. You even have a DJ playing music from 13:00 until later in the afternoon and music playing in the morning. Pool towels are provided as well. Breakfast is served from 08:00-11:00 there is plenty of choice most seating is inside but there are a few tables outdoors. The lifts are not the best we were staying in building 2 which you can’t get to the pool from so you have to go down to the ground and then over to the other building, also the buttons are not that responsive. The hotel is very central and not far from restaurants and bars it is also very close to the buses to Palma (104) and Santa Ponsa (123).

|6.77km from city centerWell what a debacle! This is not the first time we stayed there. On our last trip the deal wasn’t bad although you’d really struggle to get 4* for this place, 3* at best! Actually we quite liked the fact that it is a slightly old fashioned traditional hotel (in this case ‘Faulty’ towers) and waiter staff basilesk! In arrival last year we had dinner last year and it was tragic! Grey bland boiled to within an inch of its life and miserable staff serving it! Deep joy. The rooms basic and the double was 2 twins pushed together. Having asked why all we received was shrugged slopey shoulders, no interest in acknowledging our gripe at all. Roof top pool was clean but characterless. A single 1 hour visit ensured we weren’t returning there! The best thing all in all is the outside space amazing views and a super pianist one night. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. So we thought we’re English fools and we will revisit for the location really. All booked and 1 month before we travelled was cancelled by the hotel. They couldn’t wouldn’t explain why but to be honest we know why! The price we booked the room against was a lot lower than august so they were keen to dump us for higher paying guests! Disgusting attitude especially as when I discussed this with them on the phone with the manager they didn’t care less! I eventually read them the riot act explaining that they had reneged their contract and the promptly reinstated the booking ! Funny that 🤔 . Anyhow short and long of it I injured my back a week before travelling unable to make my booked date and asked to rebook on a different date. NO! Was the reply, we don’t allow rebooking and don’t give refunds sorry. Well they certainly wearnt sorry, after a scan I offered a consultants letter proving my state of health, the manager couldn’t care less so we lost £2000 for our stay. I don’t want a reply from the hotel because all of their replies contradict any complaint, they just lie through their back teeth! My advice is do not stay at ‘Flowery Twa-ts’ sorry ‘Faulty Towers’ no even 1 night it’ll just aggravate you me you’ll feel you’ve ripped off. Do visit for a drink on the terrace but I’d limit you exposure there!! Thanks for nothing Cala Fornells.

|6.64km from city centerCons: - the room was tiny, definately not 20m2, we actually ended up storing out empty suitcases on the balcony, otherwise you couldn't move. - we got a room on the 6th floor with a balcony. The door to the balcony did not lock, not exactly safe or child friendly. - one wardrobe door was missing. The one that was still there would not slide unless if lifted a bit, but that nearly came off on top of me ( solid wood with full lenght mirror) - no drinking water in the room or on the premises after midnight. We arrived there close to midnight and we had to go looking for a shop to get water. - pool area overcrowded. We walked to the beach for most of our stay. Unless you were there reserving a seat 1st thing in the morning, you wouldn't get one. I read reviews that they were removing towels that were left unattended, well not during my stay. I know it was peak season, but this was something else. - big queues to most activities, you have to wait at least 3 or 4 times until you got it. I'm sorry, but queing for longer than the activity went on for is not really how i want to spend my holiday. Please bare in mind that this is a place were they sell daily passes too. We went to the splash park one day and there was some sort of school trip organised there so off we went to the beach again. - rooms are not sound proofed at all. There was a few families that were sitting in the bar each night till midnight, then they'd be coming up running, roaring and slamming doors, chase eachother on the corridor. I know you can't educate your clients, but I should be able to have a pieceful sleep. - drinks at the bar were pure muck. Some premade cocktails, way too sweet and some cheap beer. There's actually no point going all inclusive. - not enough chairs to attent evening entertainment. You couldn't stand as you were blocking other people's view. Pros: - the place did look nice through my daughter's eyes and she did enjoy her time there. - food was nothing amazing, but ok. Very little choice for a young child. She ate just pasta and fish fingers for 2 weeks while there. But I haven't had any raw food issues as i seen in some reviews here. The place was quite dated, definately not a 4* and totally overpriced. Would i go back? Definately not!
