USC Hotel is a hotel operated by the University of South Garfield opposite. Overall very satisfied. ❌ dissatisfied 1. There are no slippers in the room. You need to bring your own. But most hotels in Los Angeles may not provide slippers. Because in addition to this, I have stayed at two hotels. Those did not provide slippers. (⚠️ Haven't stayed at a five-star hotel.) 2. The free shampoo is not suitable for me. After using it for about a week, the scalp was itchy and many scalp occurred at the same time .... This is rarely the case. I don't know how other guests use it. 3. Cat eyes have no cover. Visible from the outside, not very safe. In my case, to prevent peeping, cover the cat's eyes with a sign in the room. 4, TV remote control can not change platforms. ⭕️ Pros 1. The traffic is very convenient. There are several Metros within five to ten minutes' walk around. There are several museums within walking distance. Close to Downtown. Very suitable for tourists who do not drive. 2. Very safe, there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The surrounding restaurants can be eaten alone. Great for traveling alone. 3. The room was clean. Tipping is not required on the first day, but also when checking out. It is best to write a note of thanks to your aunt on the note in the room. The room has a lot of big mirrors which are very convenient. 4, front desk service is very good. When I lived, I didn't see yellow employees, only white people. They only speak English. No one speaks Chinese or Japanese. Although the communication is not convenient, they use the automatic translation app to communicate for me. Thanks [hands crossed] Accommodation may be a bit expensive, but safety comes first ☝️ The motel's accommodation fee is below half price, but it is not just not safe enough and unhygienic. The room looks clean, but there is a high chance of cockroaches. Can't relax. Do not dare to open luggage and bags casually.

We're not picky people. At least that's what I thought. As long as the room is clean, neat, safe and bug free we're happy. This room was all of those. But I realized it takes a little more then that to keep me happy. The toilet shouldn't rock when using it. The shower drain had no cover so it was a hole in the ground. There was no closet to put are luggage in and no bathroom counter to sit toiletries on. The towels were clean but stained possibly with make up. When using the shower the pipes rattled. The bed was rock hard and the pillows were fluff-less pads. But, the parking was good!

I’m giving The Hoxton five stars, because it met every expectation that a hotel should meet. It was beautifully furnished, the atmosphere was laid back, the style and decor was modern yet classy, the staff (parking attendants, front desk workers, and bar tenders) were friendly and helpful, the room furniture was comfortable. We stayed here for the LA Marathon, and we were charmed by its location and the style it exuded. My only gripe is that it lacked the things we wanted most after running, and that is more a testament to our poor planning rather than a mark against the hotel. The two things we realized we wanted most after running for six hours was a hot tub or a bath tub to soak in, and greasy junk food to eat. Unfortunately the room only had a shower (a beautiful room devoted solely to a rain head shower), and the rooftop only had a pool with no hot tub/spa. We swam around in the heated pool for a bit to make the most of it. After returning to our room we read the room service menu, and for what we were feeling, we were left wanting more. Our hearts (and stomachs) were set on burgers or burritos and we were less excited about the bone broth, egg plant dip, and other exotic dishes offered. Again, these gripes are solely about us not finding a place that better suited our post-marathon wants/needs; and should not be seen as something the hotel was lacking in. We enjoyed every other aspect of our stay here, and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to experience Downtown LA in style.

I recently stayed 2 nights at the JW Marriott LA Live while in the area for some meetings. The hotel was selected by our meeting hosts, but as a BonVoy Titanium Elite I was happy to stay at a JW Marriott. I've stayed at a few JW Marriotts around the world mainly in Asia and India and they have all been amazing properties with quiet, relaxing settings, beautiful rooms and amazing service. I wish I could say the same for this property. While there was nothing inherently wrong with the hotel, it just didn't feel like a top-tier JW Marriott property. The rooms were clean and comfortable but felt much more like a typical Marriott hotel versus a premium JW Marriott. The lobby was massive and because it is located in LA Live it was just a crowded, noisy sea of people. This is not a quiet, relaxing hotel in any way. I do have to say the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint about this hotel and it is almost inexcusable was the terrible Executive Lounge on the 4th floor. First, it is way to small for the number of people that have access to it. There isn't enough seating during breakfast time. The food selection is actually quite limited, and again more like what you would find at a regular Marriott hotel. What was a complete disgrace was their over use of single-use plastics. Instead of having bowls of fruit to select from they had dozens and dozens of individual plastic cups of berries, pineapple, melon, etc... All of the yogurt was individual plastic cups. All of the coffee cups were disposable (No ceramic mugs) and all of the utensils were plastic!! For a hotel such as this, especially in California to use so much plastic was really bad. Also, the lounge is supposed to be open until 9:30pm for dessert. I went in at 9:05pm to grab a tea and a snack before going to bed, only to find the staff had already completely cleaned up early. There was no food left out except for bags of pretzels and chips. If you're going to stay open until 9:30 then you need to have food available until 9:30!! Unfortunately, because of the price, the terrible Executive Lounge, I do not think I would stay here again. Also, I had to do some laundry from the hotel service and while fast it was crazy expensive. $66 for 2 shirts and 1 pair of pants.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Los Angeles, despite all the restrictions in place due to Covid-19. The staff was attentive and our room was a wonderful space to return to after being out around the city all day. Currently, services are limited and the Club Lounge, fitness centers, pool, and all other amenities outside of the room are closed, but we understand that the company is doing all that it can to help people feel safe during this time. I look forward to returning when we can take advantage of all that the hotel has to offer. As parents of a college student near DTLA, we have stated in several hotels in the area to be near campus, and our stay at the Ritz Carlton DTLA was by far our best experience.

This hotel was a little pricy, but it was not that bad considering the location. When we first pulled up, we were told that parking was valet only, and was $50 a day. The staff at the check-in desk were extremely friendly. We were on the 17th floor. The room was presented well, however there was dust, everywhere. The windows both inside and out, had definitely not been cleaned in a long time. Even though the windows were disgusting, we could see a good view of LA, including the Staples center and the Hollywood sign off in a distance. The pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable, it felt as if I was sleeping on springs. Every time we opened the door to the hallway, it absolutely reeked of marijuana. At around 2am one of the nights, the air conditioner started making a terrible sound, and then just stopped working for the rest of the night, and magically reset itself in the morning. I probably would not recommend this hotel for families, instead, maybe just stay here if you are alone or with an older group. Overall, I was not too impressed by this hotel for the price we paid.

I got a good deal on this hotel from Priceline, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to stay downtown. The location is unbeatable if you’re looking to stay close to the Staples Center. There’s also tons of nice bars and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The area gets a bit grainy after dark with lots of homelessness but none of them are aggressive. The hotel itself was spotless. The lobby was beautiful and had a convenience store located in it which we used a few times, it also had a small selection of beer and coolers. The check in was painless and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, it was very clean and had a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and we had a cool view of the downtown area. The body lotion and soaps smelled lovely. A few small cons would be that there was no charging station by the bedside table and the door didn’t lock. I didn’t check out the pool but my partner said the area was beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I got another good deal.

I am worried that the price of blog posts is not good. The room is the same as the picture, so there is nothing to complain about, the facilities are complete, especially the bottled water is beautiful. Guests can have breakfast in the cafe on the ground floor, and they can also bring juice, fruit, bread, oatmeal, etc. from the swimming pool, so that my son can swim and I can relax. The room is comfortable and there is a sterilizer in the closet. The bed rails are a bit uncomfortable. The staff are friendly and kind, but the refrigerators are broken and useless. Even if you leave Uber late, there will always be security at the front door of the hotel. There is an article saying that parking lots are hard to find. This is a one-way street, so I can't find this way. Of course, the parking fee is extra. Parking spaces are always free.

We had booked this Inn for our first stay in LA. Firstly, it is advertised as being in Downtown but it isn't (our taxi driver also confirmed it isn't in Downtown). We arrived at 9am(ish) after a long morning and were told the earliest we could check in was 1pm so we had to just leave our bags and go for a wonder in the area. Unfortunately, there was NOTHING in the area. The streets were filthy, the locals looked at you like you were an alien, the vibe was generally unsettling and we felt extremely unsafe. We had to walk about 20 minutes just to get something to eat and, given the feeling we had walking around the surrounding area, we knew we didn't want to stay there and ended up moving to a hotel on Sunset BLVD which wasnt much more expensive. Of course, this is not a review on the Inn itself as we never actually made it into our room, and the man on reception seemed nice, but in terms of the area it is in, I wouldn't recommend it.

In this dark time of pandemic. The staff of the ACE Hotel provided a much needed resting place. The Clean room was comfortable and quiet. The more than helpful staff was a joy to interact with. Their dedication to providing me with the best service available was superfluous. I cant wait until the current worldwide sickness issues has abated. So I may see a show in the theater and eat and drink from the more than ample services that were closed during my stay. Big thanks to everyone on staff still holding strong and making it happen for wayward guests like myself at the ACE Hotel Downtown Los Angeles.

Amy Bloch, the Concierge, contacted us about 2 weeks before our arrival asking if there was anything she could do for us either setting up any tours, restaurant suggestions and reservations or anything we might need. After asking for suggestions on restaurants she did send me quite a selection of different types of restaurants along with things to do around Hollywood and Los Angeles. When my friend and I arrived Amy greeted us at the front desk, welcoming us to the Roosevelt Hotel. The entire staff from the front desk, the guys at the valet parking, housekeeping and room service were outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us. Everyone at the hotel, especially Amy made our stay simply fantastic. The Roosevelt Hotel is the only place we would stay in Hollywood.

Downtown Los Angeles
It's a big place like Los Angeles, and the room is so small, I feel drunk too. It is too small to open the luggage, which is inconvenient to open. I specifically explained that I want a quiet room. The garbage truck on the street started to pull garbage less than 5:00 in the morning. The staff talked. I thought the window was not closed. As a result, there was no window for you to open. It was just a piece of glass with light. Just come in. A small refrigerator, placed on a shelf, but not in a cabinet. There is nothing in the refrigerator, but it is plugged in, and the operation noise is noisy all night. It will collapse when you live one day. No one will help you. Carry luggage. No one asks if you need help. Is this still Los Angeles I know? The beds are ok, moderately hard and soft. The location is good. It is convenient to walk everywhere, and around breakfast. Walking on HIlls street towards 3rd street, everything is there. May not stay here next time, unless there is no choice.

Los Angeles International Airport Area
Because of the proximity to the airport, the sound of the plane taking off and landing has never stopped, quiet is not enough, and I can sleep. The hotel room did not actively provide slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It was okay to call to ask the housekeeping to arrive. The bathtub has no glass door, just a plastic shower curtain. The shower faucet is fixed to the wall. There is a free shuttle to the airport 24 hours. The driver also helped to carry luggage up and down. The service was good.

My family has been using the Anza hotel for all of our trips to the Calabasas/LA area for the past 4 years or so, and we love it here. I hope we can continue to rely on the Anza for years to come. Beautiful rooms, superb location, and best of all they allow pets! The prices for rooms are very reasonable and they all have a nice "boutique feel" to them which adds something special. I want to add an extra note about my last stay here, which took place during the first days of the Covid-19 outbreak. I traveled alone without my husband and child to Calabasas/California because I needed to be with a gravely ill parent who soon passed away. Being able to stay in a comfortable hotel during this awful period was such a comfort to me, and I want to add that Ryan, who works at the Bistro restaurant and bar, was especially great to me during this time. Ryan prepared delicious meals for me, got to know me and my love for an evening glass of wine right away, and was a warm, friendly presence when I came home from the hospital at night (and in later days, came home to the hotel after days spent making final arrangements). Ryan and the team at the Anza who continued to work during the stressful days of Covid-19 "stay at home restrictions" were truly a blessing to me and I value, and am so grateful for, their work on the behalf of me and other guests who really needed a hotel stay for emergency reasons.

Everything was on point! All the staff were very accommodating! I arrived early Saturday and I was lucky to get a room early. Which helped a lot since we were on the go per our Soccer Tournament. When we needed a space to have our potluck in the evening they helped with our set up. Everyone was very friendly and customer service was amazing!
