The ROYAL INN is a clean, well run and VERY reasonable motel. I was greeted at the desk by a young man named Jay who was friendly, professional and helpful. Although I had no reservations and arrived late in the evening he found a room where I could park in front of my door (I am currently on crutches). Even though the room was an upgrade to the one he had first put me in he did not charge me the additional $20 difference in the fee. The Lobby was clean, tidy and welcoming although they were in the final stages of remodeling. The Rooms (I saw two) were both very nice - clean, fresh smelling, with new carpet and linens as well as large screen TV's. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Perhaps the most astonishing fact is all of this cost less than $50, with tax included! Even the parking lot was impressive being free of trash, parking sites clearly marked and well lit. I would recommend this to any traveler be they a senior such as myself or a young family looking for a reasonable, yet well appointed lodging for the night. I cannot comment on the provided continental breakfast as I had to be on the road very early and didn't have time to try it, but will say the breakfast area, which I looked into as I was exiting the lobby was also neat and orderly.

This is a nice, economical place to stay. We arrived late on a Saturday night (9.14.19) and were met with a smile by Jennifer. When I travel, I have three primary requirements of my stay: clean, comfortable, and quiet. This Super 8 met all three of those issues. Although I am not a fan of the Super 8 (Wyndham) decision to move away from fully carpeted rooms, I found my room very clean. The non carpeted areas had been mopped and had some residual stickiness, the bed/pillows/covers were very comfortable, and, even with its close access to I-20, the room was extremely quiet. Breakfast was minimal (eggs-style waffles, cold cereal, etc). We have stayed here before, and will do so again in the future.

Sky is awesome!!! If Choice properties could clone this young woman and put her at all of their properties they would never have a customer service problem. She greeted me enthusiastically, gave me a run down of the property, the breakfast times. when I asked for dinner options she was able to give me quite a few to choose from but recommended Tony's Italian Kitchen. I chose Tony's and could not have been happier. This property recently became a Quality Inn. They have done a good job remodeling. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only one thing they probably shouldn't advertise truck parking. Their lot is small. I was able to get in but only because I arrived early.

We, grandparents, parents and 2 teenagers started our road trip from Greenville TX to Las Vegas NV staying for a night at the Express Inn & Suites in Greenville just aside of I-30. Coming from Dallas on I-30, you must take Exit 94 and drive parallel to the interstate until you see the Hotel. This is an Ex Holiday Inn Hotel. I’ve been there many times in the nineties. Very good price, clean rooms, friendly staff, Pool OK, breakfast OK, bar serving alcohol in a Dry County (noteworthy) with life entertainment on the weekend, no Highway Noise inside the rooms. I recommend this Motel for travelers.

Easy checkin the room was great, it was big and i loved that it had a couch in it. in the morning while breakfast was going the lady at the front desk had to keep coming over to clean tables, I heard one of the guest say they are out of orange jucie, the lady at the front desk heard her and asked the lady doing breakfast if she wanted her to put orange in while you did the eggs, she said i can do it myself dont need you. The lady at the front desk apologized and went and back to her desk. The front desk lady was trying to make sure that both sizes was helped. she did it with a smile and talked to everyone that she seen. I feel she needs someone to tell here she is doing a great job. other than that i will be back

Great location, not far from I30. Several restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise we were disappointed. The first room they assigned us had a broken toilet seat, loose floor tile, and a bathroom door that didn't close! They DID give us another room, still with dated furnishings, bathroom grout with missing spots or mildew, etc. The window A/C cycled loudly on and off all night and kept waking us. Then the “breakfast”. We understand why there was no breakfast buffet (pandemic), but no hot food or hardboiled eggs at all? Our choices were bananas, small yogurt, cold cereal, a packaged cereal bar or muffin. Another Hampton (in Sulphur Springs, Texas) let us order hot or cold items from an abbreviated menu . Then the kitchen server brought it to our table. We both had hot omlettes, with several other choices available. Not at Greenville. And this place cost MORE per night than Sulphur Springs.
