Great hotel in a fantastic location! Close to many attractions in the old city. The receptionist is very kind and friendly. While we initially had a room facing the Main Street that was a bit noisy, the staff kindly helped us move to a twin bed room facing a quiet area which was perfect for us! Cosy room with a very comfortable bed. Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel!

The hotel is excellent, as it is close to several important temples in the city. The rooms are large, but here we start with the ”but”. The rooms are very comfortable and the rooms are very warm and you can finish with the rooms. The haircut is not a good solution for the haircut. There is also a boxer missing to keep your things, because despite the fact that there is a box, everything is out of the air, and sincerely, the cleaner lady sees my things I don't like. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable and very comfortable. The rooms are clean and clean and the rooms are clean and clean. There is also a washing service, bicycle rental and bar service but only up to 17h. It has a very recommended salt water pool if you are in warm time. In the end, if you're going to spend a few days without many luxury and at an affordable price this is your place if I don't recommend it.

The second time I came here, I still chose this hotel. It was the off-season, but I felt that the overall house price in Chiang Mai had gone up a bit. The service was still very good. There was a slight problem when I checked in. The lady at the front desk apologized all the way and gave me snacks. I stayed by the swimming pool. I don’t feel noisy in one building, and it’s so convenient to go out and eat in time for the night market on weekends!

The homestay is very new and beautiful. Our three- and one-person stays are good, and the landlord's service is also very good. There are too many mosquitoes. I have been bitten by a lot of mosquito coils. I hope the landlord can find a way to solve this problem. The rest are very satisfied. It is very suitable for a large family, and the surrounding area is also very convenient. Next time I come to Chiang Mai, if there are fewer mosquitoes, I will still book this one! Ha ha

We have stayed in some fantastic hotels in Thailand (see our other reviews in April 2023), and some not so fantastic, but Tamarind Village was the best and possibly our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in, anywhere. I will list all the items that may be helpful to other travellers:- - Room is traditional style, looks amazing! - Set in a beautiful garden, with veranda - TV has a few English-speaking channels - Wifi good in rooms - A/C, TV, Minibar, Safe, Coffee/Tea making facilities etc - Large very comfortable bed The hotel and facilities:- - Located right in the centre of Chiang Mai, but feels like a world away - Staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and are always available. They make your stay a real pleasure - Willaiwan (Elizabeth) at reception was so warm and friendly and helpful, she also runs the daily arts and craft classes (free), she is amazing. - Also, daily walking tours (free) of Chiang Mai with Candy, she is a also terrific and really helpful, can organise tours for you, or hail a tuk-tuk or Songthaew outside (thanks for bargaining for us!) - The hotel grounds are beautiful, loads of trees, including the ancient Tamarind tree in the middle, it feels so peaceful - Pool beside restaurant and reception is so warm and never too many people there, great to relax in at the end of the day after a tour.  - Breakfast is lovely, can sit in A/C or in the courtyard by the pool This is a really, really great hotel, totally beautiful and relaxing, We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend. Cant wait to go back.

Before and after, I lived in this house for a total of eight days. The location is good, not far in the ancient city, in a small alley, quiet in the noisy. On the first floor is a coffee shop, a single room, a double room, a triple room (reformed from a double bed room and a single room, so there are two toilets) and a shared quadruple room. There are a lot of mosquitoes on the first floor. On the first day, the boss arranged both rooms on the first floor for the convenience of our children. The adults were bitten into hornet nests. The second floor is a quadruple room (only one bathroom, with a refrigerator, and a closet as partition in the middle) and a triple room (a bathroom, with a toilet as a partition in the middle and a refrigerator). The environment on the second floor is much better. Breakfast is not provided, but there are bread, bananas, instant coffee on the first floor, and there is a refrigerator and some heating tools. The lady boss is beautiful and can only communicate in English

Pro: We paid only around 35 USD per night for a big room - 40sqm. (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed). This deal was nice considering the location around Sunday Walking Street. Free american breakfast. Good receptionist. (If you read some comments regarding a girl who can't speak English - she is not a reception, she is a maid - so don't expect too much). Wifi is fast. Con: The room was run down - door lock was broken, toilet was not in good condition, not so clean - acceptable. I also hate that I have to take off the shoes before entering to the property.

Ah ah ah ah I want to blow up this hotel! ! ! In fact, she is a 10-room homestay, so it is estimated that it is not bookable for holidays. First of all, the location is invincible, and you don’t have to worry about the sound of traffic on the road. Walk 20 meters out of the alley and across the road is Chedilong Temple. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Wat Phra Singh, and about 15 minutes to walk to Tha Pae Gate. The popular attractions in Chiang Mai are all within walking distance. Then there are many restaurants and coffee shops at both ends of the alley. The shop on the side of Chedi Luang Temple is more high-end and exquisite. The opposite Mr. Kai and Chiang Mai's long-established braised beef noodle restaurant must be tried! At the entrance of the alley is the THANN specialty store, and then 50 meters ahead to cross the road is the local brand of Chiang Mai, herb basics. After I bought the herb, the clerk said that I don’t need a plastic bag to give me herbal cream. I walked back to the hotel with more than a dozen kinds of handmade soap, hand cream and shampoo kit. Let's relax within a 10-minute walk. Anyway, all kinds of convenience are near. The breakfast is also delicious! His porridge is not the same as in China, it feels closer to rice cereal, but it is very fresh. Beef stew is served with rice. If you are not used to eating in the morning, you can replace it with rice noodles (they call it noodles). There is also a Western-style breakfast with bacon sausage scrambled eggs. In the small restaurant next to the front desk, there is an unlimited supply of milk, yogurt, orange juice, iced coffee, and small snacks and bread. He takes off his shoes when he enters the house. Foreigners like to walk around the hotel with bare feet; Chinese people also have slippers if they are not used to it. All in all, it’s all kinds of satisfaction. I’m satisfied to the point that I dream of retiring or coming to live for another week. It’s so comfortable and convenient! ~~ The price is not high. The only minor drawback is that there is no swimming pool, but the overall price-performance ratio is already amazing! ~

The location of the hotel is very good. When you go out, you can turn left at Chedi Luang Temple. It is also close to the night market. It is very convenient to travel. The rooms are clean, there are no mosquitoes, and all the facilities and equipment should be available. There is no elevator, and you need to carry your own luggage. The little girl at the front desk does not speak Chinese, communicates well in English, and the service attitude is also good. There is no situation that is particularly polite to foreigners and cold to Chinese people. The air-conditioning in the first room was not effective, so the room was changed immediately. There is no breakfast, there is a breakfast shop on the right hand side of the house.

1. When booking, there is no note to write to me, whether you want a double bed or a double bed. I didn't care about this until the front desk said that I didn't write this note when I checked in, so they didn't reserve a double bed for me, so when I wanted to move for three consecutive days, he said that I would move twice The room was finally coordinated and waited, and it took him half an hour to get us a twin room without moving the room. Friends who book in the future, remember to write a note, or don't book this kind of hotel with double beds and double beds randomly arranged. 2. The sound insulation is very poor. The person next door sneezed on the balcony. I closed the balcony glass window and could hear it clearly in the room. 3. The light in the cloakroom cannot be turned off. It can only be covered with a black curtain, but the light can still shine through the gap. 4. The place where the shower gel is placed in the bathroom is very narrow. 5. There are fried eggs on the breakfast menu, but the default is sun eggs, so if you have a friend who wants to eat hard-boiled eggs, remember to tell him boiled egg. 5. There are 2 swimming pools which are nice. 6. The attitude of the service staff is very good, the front desk, guest rooms and restaurants. 7. Serve only brunch, not dinner.

This place makes us very much satisfied. Since the service of the staff is very outstanding, the atmosphere of the hotel is very quiet. The location is also convenient when ordering food or walking to buy food outside. Cleanliness inside the accommodation is very clean. Our cat, if he smells another, he will be afraid. But here it is very clean. Our cat has no reaction at all. Plus, it's also dull. 1 Overall, I really like it. Going to Chiang Mai will stay here again.

I was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

The location is near Ningman Road, the decoration is very stylish, the roof bar is also very good, but the whole design is too impractical, the small room is very small, the suitcase can't be opened, the first night stay was almost a nervous breakdown! I thought it was an airplane, so I tried to forbearance, but it kept going. After half an hour, I discovered that it was a refrigerator... Just after I lay down after unplugging the refrigerator socket, the whole room began to tremble, as if I was sitting on an airplane and about to take off. Same, I don’t know what's going on. After tossing for a long time, I found that our bedside is next to the four main units of the air conditioner on the floor? ! ! ! This kind of room needs to be sold! Speechless! The next day, I added more than two hundred yuan to exchange for a large room. I thought it would be good, but it seemed that there was a waiter downstairs or something laughing and chatting, until one point! Fortunately, I only booked two nights, and I really need to see a doctor one night! ! ! The service is very good, LP's facial cleanser forgot to remember it the next day in the room and called to help us find it. But this hotel is really not suitable for staying, it is recommended to take pictures, just sit in the rooftop bar! ! !

We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staff are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. I’m very happy that I found this place. I spent a lot of time searching and reading reviews. I was instantly glad that I made the right decision. The room looks like it did in the photos, beautiful. Everything was new and immaculate. The location is about a 5-7 minute walk from Tha Pae Gate and all the bars and restaurants. There is also a nightly food street market nearby with delicious foods to try. It’s quite nice to be a few minutes away from all the noisy bars and restaurants. Try the Chai restaurant for great nighttime music from around 9pm. The See You Soon restaurant had daily visits because of its delicious Thai food and cocktails. You can tap in and out as you wish. Everything was very easy here. It was easy to get from here to any of the main locations for tourists. David was very lovely and helped me navigate everything that I wanted to do. I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip and because it wasn’t my first time to the city, I was rather specific about where I wanted to stay, and I chose this hotel for its location in old town near to the many cafés I had wanted to visit. First app - the service. It was amazing! I was scheduled to arrive at 10pm and although the late check in procedure was originally a personal email on unlocking various locks to get the room as the lobby that connects to the bar was closed, after I responded, they actually said they will have someone to wait for me at the reception to help me with my check in. Already a very positive note even before I arrive! Check in was swift and the room was exactly like shown. Its not a style for all, but I love it. Its simple, classically modern and functional. My only gripe is that there are not enough power points near the main bed (or you will Need a longer wire) so you really have to charge your phones at the TV Consol (with my short wire) which means that you don’t get to have your phone right besides your bed. The bed is Asian style firm so if you like it cushy, then its not for you. The pillows were also not that ok, even though with 4, its not the firm kind so i did have trouble sleeping. But if you like fluffy kind, these are your heaven. The bathroom had all the amenities needed - toothbrush, cotton, et al., but no mouthwash, so bring your own. There is also handwash next to sink and a good hair dryer provided. Shower pressure was surprisingly good and the wall mounted heater means u can tune the hot water manually to your liking. The location is superb as its near Thae Pae gate and You can really explore the old Town easily within walking distance from this location. The hotel also has a coffee bar with very cool drinks.

This hotel is located by the river. When I first arrived, I saw the surrounding environment and felt a little cold. After check-in, the impression is completely changed. The staff at the hotel have a very good attitude, speaks and smiles decently. I asked them to help arrange the Hua Lanna massage and the taxi to the airport on the third morning. They all arranged it properly. Where can I go? , The waiter will take out the map, mark the route and provide it to me, and even check the location on the computer. After telling me the route, he will print the route to me. The work is very meticulous and thoughtful, especially praise! This time we stayed in a family room on the first floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the swimming pool. Next to the swimming pool is a restaurant, which is very convenient for swimming and eating. The hotel’s restaurant provides 24-hour free mineral water, watermelon, pineapple, hot water, tea, coffee, egg rolls, rice crackers. You can make a cup of coffee at any time, sit under the tree, facing the river, and rest. In terms of location, there is a 7-11 on the diagonally opposite side of the hotel, and there is a supermarket a little past. Turn left and walk a short distance from the hotel to the iron bridge. After crossing the iron bridge, go straight for two intersections to the Changkang Road Night Market. I considered the resort before staying in this hotel, but it would be more troublesome to go out in the resort, and I finally chose this one, which proved to be correct. Of course, there are regrets about this stay: 1/The hotel just arranged for someone to trim the branches the next day, so that the tables and chairs at the door could not be seated, and the room would be noisy, and I could not enjoy the hotel environment well; 2/The bathroom drained slowly , There is water on the floor at the end of the bath; 3/The bathroom does not have a place to put towels and clothes, which is very inconvenient as a family room; 4/We stayed for two nights, and there was no cleaning staff in between to clean the room and collect garbage. Changing towels, putting paper towels, no cleaning work. Anyway, this is a highly comfortable hotel, a hotel that makes people want to stay all day without going out. Hope that next time you stay, there will be further improvement and experience. Answer a few questions from travelers: 1/Breakfast is good, I like purple mango sticky rice and chicken drumsticks; 2/Family room has a large bed and two single beds, suitable for a family of four; 3 The location of the hotel is not in the center, but it is far from Changkang The road night market is not very far, about a 15-minute walk; 4/ There is a little open space in front of the hotel, you can park about 6 cars.

I booked this place after checking out the review and was skeptical since it is cheap and near the bus station, but decided to try it anyway. Surprisingly the hotel looks modern, carpark space at the back is big, right across a temple which is not too noisy, yet by the road side near the bus station (50 meters away) So it will be great for people who come to Chiang Mai by long distance bus. Safe and secure, nice room with big LED TV, big room and comfy bed. Tips : Ask for a quiet room and you will get one facing the back, even more quiet than usual. They have buffet breakfast too.

Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.
