We saw an offer in the newspaper for 2 nights at the Schimmelpennick Huys, including breakfast and one dinner for around 80 euros per person. We have stayed at this hotel previously and loved it then, so we booked this great deal almost immediately! The hotel is situated in a very grand and imposing building in the city centre of Groningen. The building has a ton of history and I like that the various phases that the building went through are still acknowlegded in the decor. It has some gorgeous spaces, decor and a lovely secret garden. I did notice this time around how badly maintained some parts were. Both the communal areas as well as our room had aspects that were outdated and in need of fixing. I think this is a great shame and it does make the overall experience less pleasant. Our rooms was fairly large and, aside form the areas that need fixing, spotless. The decor definitely did not match my personal style but everything was well thought through and executed in one particular style. Also the room had everything we could ask for. Lovely beds, an enormous vanity, chairs, TV etc. The bathroom, which included a shower and a bathtub, was spacious and I did like the double sinks. The shower was in desperate need of fixing, but enough said about that. I had no trouble sleeping at the hotel as it was mostly fairly quiet and dark. On one occasion there was a party in the main hall. This wasn't a problem to me, but I do think it would have been polite if we had been informed before hand. The breakfast buffet offers a large variety of breadrolls, sandwiches, crackers, cooked options, deli meats, cheeses and sweet toppings and ofcourse beverages. I thought it was very extensive and had something to everyone's taste. I did expect the bread to be a bit more refined though, as it comes straight out of the bakery that is attached to the hotel. Also we once ate dinner at the hotel as it was part of the package deal. First and foremost: our waitress was incredible. She had a very busy and complex shift as part of the rooms were transformed in preparation for the party. She was incredibly hardworking and did a great job explaining all of the dishes to us. We received some flavoured breads and butters as a starter and after that some entrees. I did enjoy the flavours in this tremendously. As a starter we both took the vegetable cheesecake. It was an interesting concept but I did miss a certain bite and the texture was a bit sloppy. After that we both took the main course with veal cheek. This dish was pure perfection and very well cooked. Eventhough, this wasn't actually on the menu, our waitress did manage to bring us chips as a side dish. I was happy with the options I chose and it was nice to try dishes that I normally wouldn't have chosen, but personally I would have liked some more accesible options. This time around I had a lovely stay again, especially considering the value for money. I do hope that they'll be able to do som

We were cycle touring and needed a place to dry out and recharge our devices. This excellent, large hostel did all that and more. We were able to put the bikes in a secure store and our two person room turned out to have two bunk beds so there was more room for us to spread out. There was a 24 hour supermarket less than 200 m away and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen; so our evening meal was taken care of. We chose to have the hostel breakfast, which was a big, buffet with everything from fruit to meats to cheeses and many different types of bread. It was easy to find, the staff were very helpful and we had an excellent night's rest.

The hotel is in very good condition and well maintained. The rooms are very clean, have comfortable beds and the service is outstanding. We had twice dinner at their restaurant during our stay and the quality of food is fantastic. The only thing that would be nice is a gym in the hotel, but they can give you an access card with a gym around the corner for a small amount. Besides that, it would be nice if the hotel would switch their bath products to a brand that is not testing its cosmetics on animals anymore. There are a lot of cruelty free luxury niche brands that would fit perfectly into this stylish boutique hotel! Next to that, the choice of plant-based food in the restaurant is great and they even do their own macarons without animal products (vegan!) We will definitely come back again for another time.

The Rotterdam Hilton is more than a thousand points a night. The room is very spacious and the decoration is very elegant. Although the facilities are not very new, I don’t understand it. Why don’t the Dutch use the domestic Philips TV set and use the LG of the Kimchi country? Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, behind the hotel is the shopping center, walking to the arched market box house is only 15 minutes. The scenery outside the window is good, although it faces the main road, it is not noisy. The breakfast is rich, but mainly based on Western food, the dining environment is comfortable. The downside is that if you don't pay attention, you will be connected to the VIP network. Of course, you have to pay.

First of all, I was completely attracted by the appearance of this hotel when I picked the hotel. I accidentally saw the work of OMA Design Office. I feel good and recommend staying. The design is relatively simple and has extremes. Some people say that "too transparent" feels can be seen outside every move, just pull the curtains, the room view is great, especially the sunrise and sunset, the staff is very polite and professional, and it is not ignored for the Chinese And other phenomena. There is Tram downstairs, which is convenient to go anywhere, originally Rotterdam is not big. There is a "Happy Italy" recommended downstairs, coffee and bread for breakfast and a few glasses of wine and beer for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay ~

The shower design is not suitable for children and can not be removed when fixed on the wall. The other is satisfied and the room is very spacious. The service is also very good. Originally we had the opposite of the premier suites plus, the flight was cancelled and the first day failed to check in. We were told that our room was cancelled and the prepayment hotel refused the refund. At that time, I contacted Ctrip to help us change Marriott. Marriott's service is obviously more. This is the first hotel we stayed on this business trip, and the only one with breakfast. Breakfast is buffet, relatively simple, almost the same choice every day. The buns are delicious, with some slices of ham and cheese, and a fruit salad. I like the milk cereal area. I make a bowl of chocolate milk cereal every morning, but the milk is not too hot. Breakfast is full. Check-in on the first day, because I arrived earlier, I waited until 6 o'clock until 11 o'clock, I couldn't check in because the rooms were not cleaned up. After leaving the Rotterdam Central Station, turn left and go through 2 small intersections. The facade is small. It rains in the dark. It is not easy to find. It is easy to find during the day. Close to the train station, the transportation is convenient, and there are many shopping malls around, but the same things are much more expensive than those in Germany. There is no wardrobe, it is open, and the hanger cannot be taken off. Bring your own toiletries and slippers, but have a kettle. The heating is good, neither cold nor hot, and the temperature is the most comfortable in the three homes.

Hotel location is very good! Blaak stood up and walked in a few minutes. The big market next to the Blakk station has a lot of delicious food. Going a little further towards the Ferris wheel is a commercial area. The famous box house is on the other side of the station. You can walk to the Museum Square and the water bus. This Ibis looks very new, the overall interior design is simple and stylish, the room size is not small, the bathroom hardware facilities are not bad, except for disposable cups and three-in-one bath liquid, there is nothing else. There is no hot water in the room, you can get one at the front desk, with coffee and tea, two paper cups. The breakfast variety is quite rich.

It doesn't feel as good as it was written in the evaluation, the facilities are average, and the rooms are generally not too big. The location is remote and suitable for driving there, parking is free, this is rare. There are stains on the sheets, I don’t know if they have not been changed or washed, and the sofa is not clean, so the sanitary condition feels very average. The service was very good. The location is very good, go straight out from the train station and walk for about 15 minutes. All the way along the river, pulling the box in the past will not be too painful. We have all the rooms in the past few days, and we have given a room on the first floor, but it would be better if we could live on a high floor. The room is not particularly new, but the comfort is very high, the room is large, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kettle~ Breakfast is plentiful, croissants and a variety of small breads are delicious. We stayed in a family room. It was excellent-spacious, well-equipped and clean. A nice touch was a night-light which creates a kind of night sky on the ceiling of the room in varying colours and patterns. A lounge on the 2nd level exists where you can eat take away food or ordered food and also have breakfast (available from the 24h mini market on a pay-per-item basis). This was very convenient. The location is ideal if you need to be downtown Rotterdam. Parking is available on-site but you need to reserve in advance. Staff was friendly and helpful.
