This hotel is in the San Lorenzo neighbourhood, which is a 20 minute walk from Roma Termini. Upon arrival I was met with welcoming staff who were very responsive and polite. The woman at the desk gave lots of advice about transport routes, shopping and attractions which was extremely helpful. I was in a wonderful, spotlessly clean room with a modern interior. My bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was impeccably clean. There was storage for clothes and a safe for valuables. Opposite the bed there was a large SMART TV with free WiFi (very fast) which is a brilliant feature. It was wonderful to be able to come back after a long day walking around Rome, to wind down to a movie. The option of air conditioning/heating control was great. There was no view from the window (as expected, given the location). But do not be put off by this! The hotel is in a fairly quiet area, which offers a better nights sleep compared to busier, more central hotels (right next to Termini for example). I had the breakfast buffet which had mostly continental options with limited options for vegetarians/vegans. I was disappointed that the only hot food available for vegetarians was scrambled eggs, but I am sure that the hotel would be able to accommodate dietary requirements upon request (as stated on their website). I was not too bothered as the selection of pastries and breads made up for this! Overall, I would not hesitate to book a room with this group again. I highly recommend this place is you are visiting Rome. I have no real complaints!

This place is wonderful! Hosts are very nice. I study here, my mom and brother wanted to come here for vacation. When i saw this place, I recommend my mom to book it. It was clean, comfortable and super nice. Now they are going to turn back home. And we love this place more than ever. Thanks to hosts i could stay with my relatives in their room and because of that spend with them so much time! I couldn't imagine the situation like this. The breakfast was great. Mom was delighted with coffee (it was very cool). Brother liked cake with nesquik. Place is very quiet, bed is very big, bathroom is clean. There are fridge and safe. There is a wifi. "Rooms for you" is located near Termini station. We will recommend this place to all our friends who want to visit Rome. Thank you, Emanuele and Eleonora, again for our great time.

The room and the whole Hotel are clean and there is friendy and helpful staff. Unfortunately there ist same kind of ventilation going on and off in the yard but I got used to it and slept well. The breakfast is typically Italian but enough to make it to lunchtime.

Stayed at the Laurentia Hotel for 4 nights (2 extra nights alongside our Italy Tour). The staff were very friendly. Anything they could do to help you enjoy your stay, they will go that extra mile for you. Very clean and tidy room. Lovely bar and also plenty of Breakfast food,as soon as they could see a container/plate nearly empty on the Breakfast table, they topped it up straight away. Would definitely recommend this Hotel. The location is very student like however, but the Hotel itself,we had no issues with. The location was perfect for Bars,in abundance of Restuarants in the area and local Shops. Thankyou to the staff who made our trip extra special.

It is one floor with a couple of rooms which are cool decorated. It has airconditioning, TV and a nice bathroom. Very clean. There is breakfast every day and you can eat it on the balcony. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. It has a very nice and interesting atmosphere because there is a lot of cool stuff. From funny lamps to giant suitcases on top of the closet. There are a lot of places to eat and a supermarket nearby. Right outside is a tramstop, which is very convenient. The only con is that the street where this hotel is located is a little noisy, but it is not a big problem. Overall very good hotel and also cheap!!

Our experience with this hotel was amazing! We stayed at the room for 3 people, it was big enough and always clean. Everything (AC, TV etc.) was functioning well, we had great view to the garden. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there was a lot of options to choose from (also lots of fruits, nuts, seeds, so healthier options as well :) ) and everything was delicious! The breakfast was in the room next to very lovely terrace with a lot of plants, so we sometimes had our breakfast or just a coffee there and it was very nice. All the staff was very kind and helpful. The closest metro station is at the Termini station 15 minutes walk, what can be a bit bothering when you are tired in the evening. There is a bus stop like 2 minutes from the hotel, but I am not sure where it goes, we only used it once to get to the Tiburtina station. However it´s a small thing, but other than that, it was really great experience and we would stay in this hotel again.

I still set the hotel next to the train station. Get off the train, walk back out of the station, walk past a supermarket coop, go in and buy some food to eat at night, and then go straight to the hotel. The front desk of the hotel has a good attitude, and you can get maps for free. A city tax price list is available at the front desk. Parker Hotel is Samsung, so the city tax is 3 Euro per person (or 4 Euro?) The rooms are small but clean. It is worth mentioning that the free tea bags and coffee prepared in the rooms taste good. Bathroom has shower cap, soap, shampoo, shower gel. There is even a kettle. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. Breakfast is on the ground floor and is very chic. Breakfast is also standard in a Western buffet, with several types of bread, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, various coffees, teas, milk, yogurt and cereals. But there are a lot of jams here, individually packed. After checking out, I still left my luggage at the hotel. After returning, I took my luggage and went to the bus station (not far from the bus station!) The road to the bus station is very beautiful, there is a string of lights on a vacant lot, and a small tent.

Best 3 star hotel ever. Staff extremely helpful, room spacious with a comfy bed; cleanliness all around. Best thing is breakfast: delicious, sweet bakery stuff, ham and cheese, milk and fresh juices-all included in the very good rate. Location: 5 min suburban rail-ride to Termini station (stop is a few min away from the place) or 15 min by bus/tram plus walking combination. If back to Rome, we'll definitely stay here again!

Overall, a very good stay. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, provided a map upon arrival and told us details of nearest Metro/Bus stations etc. Over the week they were willing to help with any enquiries and problems, we struggled to reach the WiFi from our room and they helped us to connect to an alternative WiFi which had a better connection. The room itself was a reasonable size, clean, bed was okay - good enough for a good nights sleep every night - and quite large. The location is good, close to Termini and the Colosseum and Forum. Good restaurants nearby, and a supermarket. The area is a little “”dirty”” as in graffiti, litter around but it’s what you’d expect in a busy city. Overall a very pleasant stay, good for the price.

Ok, let’s get the negatives out of the way, this hotel is in desperate need of some TLC with the decor. Scuffed paintwork, chipped plaster and in need of carpentry repair and updated furniture. The area is a tad run down but still near some lovely bars and authentic Italian restaurants and only 20-25 mins walk from the Colosseum. Right by the Termini, Trams rattle along regularly giving the rooms a bit of a shake( not like that scene in the Blues Brothers tough! Thankfully! ) and not at night, so a good sleep is on the cards. Sadly, air con units don’t work (we were a party of 7) 4 rooms and none of the units worked BUT, beautiful windows opened up for lovely air circulation. Now, The pluses: fresh towels, plenty of hot water, clean sheets and wonderful, helpful staff. I liked the old place, loved the marble reception and stairs. Breakfast is typical continental, ham, cheese, coffee, croissants etc... was offered a small choice but ate every day. We used local taxis for getting back and forth to the sights purely as walking all day (sometimes twice on tours) was tiring but only 10-20 Euros one way. Don’t expect too much as a 3 star hotel, by UK standards, and you need to look beyond the shabbiness, would we rebook? Yes! Definitely! Was worth the money?, you get what you pay for and if it hadn’t been for our quick acting receptionist, (our pre-booked transport failed to turn up) got all 7 of us with 7 cases in a taxi across Rome peak time traffic, just in time (30 mins!) to spare before we’d miss our flight, it would have ruined what would have been an exceptional experience in Beautiful Rome. Hope you find this review helpful.

We picked this hotel based on its location and price so we knew what we were getting which is why I give it a 3.5 rating. Basically I think we got the worst room otherwise I would award more stars. We were in room 13 which sticks out into the lobby, avoid it if you can. It was very basic and small, not enough space for two suitcases and the bathroom door won't open all the way because of the bed (see photo). It also smelt of stale smoke for the first day before it drifted out of the small blacked out window, of which there is only one. Seemed newly painted but didn't look great. No fridge or tea/coffee in room either. On the plus side the bathroom was pretty good, new, with a decent shower and the AC worked a treat. Being so close to reception meant you could hear the female receptionist on the phone the whole morning on the days she worked. The young man and older man were delightful though, very kind, friendly and helpful. Patio out the back was pleasant enough and there was a coffee machine upstairs in the corridor which sold decent coffee for 65/70 cents a go. If you walk there from Termini take Via Napoleone/Piazza Vittorio Emanuele not Via Giovanni Giolitti as it has smoother pavements for suitcases and no homeless people. It is very close to Manzoni metro station for easy transport around Rome and there are also buses from there to get to places, we took the no.3 bus to Trastevere a few times. It's much closer than going all the way to Termini. I also highly recommend 320 Gradi around the corner for a fantastic meal on your doorstep. The carbonara was amazing and the owner was very friendly, "no good, no pay"!

Spagna
We were planning a stay in a Rome prior to our cruise and selected The Hassler due to its pre-cruise package - a great deal. We took advantage of the personal assistant at the airport and the hotel transfer and felt like VIP’s. Very welcome after our long overnight flight from the US. The assistant insisted on handling our bags for us and getting us through some airport construction to find our driver. All seamless. We spent 6 lovely nights at The Hassler in early Feb 2020. The staff were so friendly and accommodating from the time we entered the hotel treating us like frequent returning customers. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the Spanish Steps and what a view! A very comfy bed, too. We enjoyed a few meals in Salone Eva and enjoyed great food and impeccable service. Such friendly staff who made certain we were happy with everything from our drink orders to our food. The buffet breakfast was really good, too, with a wide variety of selections and the same service in a beautiful dining room. So many friendly people who pampered us and made us feel like we were the most important people there. We loved their Amorvero body lotion and wish we could buy it online but unable to find it anywhere. Our transfer to Civitavecchia took us right to the cruise terminal and helped us get our bags dropped off with the handlers. All top notch service. We hope to return here in the future to enjoy the luxury of the Hassler. This was the best service we have ever experienced and heartily recommend staying at this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

Termini Central Station
Perfect location, especially if you arrive from the train station, so you can directly leave your luggage and walk in the biggest open hair museum: Rome! The hotel is very modern and new! The twin bedroom was equipped with all the facilities and spacious and spot clean. The Staff and the property are very well prepared and following the new Covid safety procedures. A special thanks to the reception team, the super funny guy that welcomed me and my friend upon arrival and the amazing lady that was there upon check out. Keep it up with the great job and I’ll see you on my next visit, Ciao

Stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived late gone 10pm pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was still open lovely food. Also offered a snack menu if we wanted to eat after 10.30pm. Very lovely bar and chill out areasThe room was immaculate with a very decent bath and shower. Breakfast was continental but plenty of it. 20 minute bus ride into central of Rome. €12.00 euros ticket covers 48hours and can be used on all public transport. We used the bus, train and tram. Restaurants in Rome all charge for sides i.e. veg or salad etc. Eat in the ones way from the main attractions by a couple of streets. Wear trainers as you end up walking alot and pack a travel umbrella. Stayed 2 days and saw loads Night time was a magical atmosphere everything lit up.

Termini Central Station
Though the beds need to be updated, the room was big, and the location was perfect as it was close to the terminal. However, the city tax they charge was quite expensive. The hallway set up was a little confusing at first but not too bad. One hallway was a little creepy though; and the spa seems to open late and close early. The staff were nice and love the rooftop bar.

We travelled as a family of 2 Adults & 2 Children. Most part of our trip to Europe we were all in 1 room, however at Rome we had booked a quad room with connecting doors, and this was amazing for all family members to have a bigger space. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. Beds & pillows super comfortable, wifi works great. In the main room there was an amazing space to do your make up each morning with a mirror and lights, lighting needs to be a little brighter but great to have own area. Breakfast was only 9€ and quite a big selection, both of my fussy eaters enjoyed! The waitress was lovely and kind. Walking distance to everything - we chose to walk over the city as everything is walking distance and you get to see more, however HoHo bus stops are close, and walking distance to Terminal train station. I would 100% stay here again, and recommend this hotel to anyone! Also a mention to the staff in reception, who were very kind with check out! Great hotel, stay here!

Monti
We stayed at the Monti Palace Hotel for a week in September. It is worth saying this was during the coronavirus pandemic so Rome was very quiet although case numbers in Italy were low. Firstly, the positives:- Location - hotel is right on top of the metro station which is very convenient. Note that you have to change at termini for several locations in central Rome. 20 min walk from Trevi fountain or pantheon, 10 mins to forum and colosseum. Small supermarket directly across the street and lots of restaurants in the local vicinity. We had good, cheap food at La Base, Ai Tre Scalani and Iari the Vino. Check in - we arrived at 12:30 and were informed the room was ready - much appreciated after an early start. We were told we had been upgraded to a superior room but that is the room type we had booked (and shows on our booking confirmation) No problem so we didn’t say anything but a bit odd to say we had been upgraded. We also requested a high floor to be away from the road noise and were put on the top floor for rooms. Room - room was a good size and overall very clean. The bathroom in particular was lovely. Housekeeping did a very thorough job each day. Air con was great and the bed was very comfy. But, see below the negative points The not so good things:- Breakfast - was included in our rate (not free included in the price!) it was pretty dire to be honest. I know with covid it is difficult but can’t understand why they couldn’t offer toast (we specifically asked on the form you fill in, in both English and Italian and were given bread), or why fruit such as a banana couldn’t be offered. We had the bacon one day - was the soggiest bacon I’ve ever seen and arrived in less than 2 mins so I assume was microwaved? Conversely the croissants are cold and from a packet. I understand it is a really hard time but I do think they could be doing better. The water and juice was good. Reception - usually very good but I did ask one member of staff if I could pay to print out some tickets for the colosseum we had booked last minute. He said only from 2pm which I thought was very odd (and too late for us!) seemed like he just couldn’t be bothered and his colleague would be on the desk by 2pm. The lift also seemed to smell really bad every time we used it. Light switches - the one anomaly in otherwise a very clean hotel. The light switches were filthy - really disgusting, looked like they’d never been cleaned and this applied to all of them - the two by the bed, the bathroom and by the main door to the room (pics attached). Storage - the room has been designed by a designer rather than by someone who has actually tried staying in the room! We had the largest size of room and it had one single wardrobe maybe 2.5ft wide - with a rail, and two shelves (there was another shelf but well out of reach). Half of one of the shelves was taken up by the safe. There was no other storage in the room other than open surfaces eg. table, bench by door. There wasn’t a si
