The price is very small, clean and the service is very good! It is very close to the Hachinohe Station, three minutes walk, and there are drugstores and large supermarkets nearby. The ramen shop next to the supermarket, 700yen, delicious, good value for money.

The rooms are relatively small, but the others are pretty good. The location of the hotel is really good, next to the train station, there are some restaurants next to the hotel, the breakfast on the first floor of the hotel is ok, I feel good.

Very nice hotel. Come to Hachinohe for a day. If you book it that night, you can move in on the same day. I didn't see the smoking room when I made a reservation, so I told the day before yesterday to change to a non-smoking room (my English is not enough). The rooms are really big (compared to other hotels). In general, it is recommended, it is also close to Hon-Hachinohe Station

We stayed here for three nights. Check in (and check out) was very easy. Loved that they offered surprisingly good coffee at check in, AND a moisturizing mask at the front desk. The beds were comfy, bathroom was clean and had fog free mirrors! Air conditioning worked well. The onsite laundry facilities were super helpful for us. Nominal cost for this. The Lawson was right beside it which helped for those late night cravings. Walking distance to many food options.

The hotel is pretty new. I got Room 1201, a double bed in a smallish, north- facing room. The view was great, and I could see to the Kabushima start of the amazingly beautiful Tanesashi coastal trail. It’s a classic Dormy Inn room, compact but well- designed to make the most of the space. The design is modern and well- executed. The sink is in the entry hall and has the mini- fridge and tea service underneath. There’s also an in- room safe. The toilet and shower room are across the entry hall from the sink. The toilet is a new model Toto washlet. Again, typical D.I., there’s a four or five gallon fresh water jug for “just in case.” There are more electrical outlets than in most hotels, and located at convenient heights, much appreciated. There’s a good in- room safe as well. The bed was very comfortable and the window opened so I didn’t use the aircon. The breakfast room is a corner room facing north and east and gets the morning sun, so it’s very bright and cheery. Breakfast is a selection of Japanese and western items, all high- quality and tasty. The onsen is excellent, again a D.I. hallmark. Located on the 13h floor and facing east and south, the views are great. There’s a sauna, a cold bath and indoor and outdoor hot baths. This one I estimate at 42C, a bit hotter than most, which I like. The changing area is nice and there are so many lockers that if they were all in use, it would be standing room only in all the baths!

Due to the Aomori Festival causing all hotels in the entire region to be either sold out or overly priced we went to this one instead. I assumed it wouldn't be too difficult to jump a few JR Lines and Shinkasen it up to Aomori. I was almost correct. To get here you stop at Hachinohe Station. Then you wait. This hotel is located in Hon-Hachinohe, whose train comes every 32 minutes or longer. That's okay, we figured that out, but then when you do arrive at hon-hachinohe you'll have to take a taxi which may be there or you may have to wait another 30 minutes before another shows up in this tiny tiny tiny town. So, you think you can take a taxi from Hachinohe, sure if you want to spend nearly 50,000yen for that. In the end the room was the standard small Japanese hotel room, the staff was okay (they kept forgetting who we were though), and the location was just barely okay. I suggest if you're doing to do Aomori stuff, stay further south, or closer to an actual Shinkasen station.

I stayed because I had the opportunity to need an inn. There was no breakfast, but the room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the price. I would love to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Stayed here 3 nights for work, very conveniently located in front of Hachinohe Shinkansen station (not the main Hachinohe town center). This is not the center of town, so you will have to take the train or a bus for sightseeing but for a business stay or even during the festival season when all the hotels are booked throughout Aomori, this is a reasonable spot. Front desk staff are all extremely helpful. I often send my luggage to the next destination by courier service (takkyu-bin) and the front desk has the forms and will weigh and measure your suitcase if you prefer not to lug your bags on the Shinkansen. The rooms are basic but comfortable. They have toothpaste and toothbrush sets, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom but no extras such as lotions. There is a small refrigerator in the room, hot water thermos, and a full breakfast which comes with the room rate. There is a small TV in the room but I could not find any English language news stations (CNN,BBC or even Chinese language stations) which most hotels in Japanese cities would offer. All in all, very convenient, reasonably priced, clean, with helpful staff.

The hotel is on the 4th floor after you exit the Shinkansen gates on the 3rd floor. On arrival we managed to change from a Double to a Twin Bedded Room paying an extra charge. Regret we stayed only one night as the room was a good size with a writing desk tuck in a corner. The bathroom was spacious and we have all the amenities. As it was a smoking room, I could open the window so the fresh air cleared the smell including spraying the room with smoking removal liquid. You could see the train station and tracks from the window but you will not be disturb by the noise. Beside the reception there is a small counter where you can buy snacks. The Tourist Information office is on the 2nd floor and the staff there were extremely helpful. They have a world map chart where you can indicate with a colour tack which country you from. With the information we took a bus in front of the station to Yokocho Alley. We had dinner and dinks at a Yatai and took the local train back to the hotel. Japanese breakfast was served at the restaurant on the 3rd floor. We took the train to Hachinohe Tatehama Wharf Morning Market and back in time to check-out. We had a wonderful sushi lunch at the small restaurant(Bento & Souvenir)on the 3rd floor before we took the train to Odate. Thank you all for making our short stay in Hachinohe memorable. We will sure be coming back again and staying in Hotel Mets..

Stayed for 3 nights from 25-28 Oct. Clean room and small bathroom comfortable for a 5ft medium size. I chose to join their eco plan without any daily cleaning and enjoyed 600 yen savings. Treat it as your own room back home so everything can still be nice and clean without cleaning. I used their coin launderette which is very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was healthy and tasty. Rice served was Number One and produced in Aomori...nice texture. There’s an ice machine and microwave which comes in handy when you need them. I based myself at this hotel which is located diagonally opposite Hachinohe Station and access to JR Bus to Oirase Stream and Lake Towada. I did another day trip to Chusonji Temple and Geibikei Gorge on the same day and enjoyed myself thoroughly. And booked myself to return from Geibikei on the special themed Pokémon train! So fun & exciting! Worth mentioning was the boat ride at Geibikei Gorge where our boat-lady entertained us with Japanese folk songs. Lovely face, powerful voice and physically strong to manage the traditional boat. Soaked in the beauty of Autumn colours..Totally relaxing!!
