Grazie Patrizia and Guillermo for our wonderful stay. The hotel is perfectly located from the major sites of the city. Guillermo can take you around to the sites of the city and beyond. Price is very reasonable considering it’s a private tour. To enter the hotel is on the second floor no lifts but the hotel has a hoist which can take your luggage up so you don’t have to struggle with it up the staircase. Breakfast was basic but delicious. Room was comfortable and generous in size. Will definitely come back and stay!

We spent two nights as a family there, two fantastic rooms on the third floor, great view on the vibe of the city, just in front the Massimo Teatro. A brand new, very clean, great, yet interior tries to preserve classic Italian with a great touch, and history of the place, nowadays Sephora rents the ground floor, brilliant decor . The accommodation was Super. I definitely recommend it - warm recommendation, efficient, also assisting you with parking very near the hotel in a safe place, helping you with luggage to the hotel - one minute from the parking. - Federico who manages the place is a great guy, helpful and understanding, with a good service attitude . I strongly recommend the location, the surprising beautiful very large rooms, illuminated and fronting the whole hassle and basale of the dynamic city, yet, quite quiet , since inside the room of modern facilities and great glass work. I will come back Federico and Philipo. The Palazzo is cleaned every day in the morning, you have your breakfast at the coffee downstairs where Federico gives you a voucher, allowing you to order all you can desire. Also - Federico was very helpfull with arranging us a private tour. Thank you guys, you got a new customer, surly coming back . You deserve the highest rating - in my opinion, the concept of this luxurious Appartments with a full service is a winner.

First of all I want to tell you that the customer service is absolutely top notch. Perfect balance of supplying all your needs and just letting you be and enjoy. Armando was very responsive and provided us with a spectacular room for a really reasonable price ( really , really good price). Recently and tastefully remodeled our room was spacious and very comfortable. While we were traveling at end of tourist season, the cost was a third what I would have guessed. Armando and staff saved us from a rather run down Airbnb apartment. I appreciate rustic but suffice to say cleanliness and maintenance were not a high priority for that Airbnb. But what do you expect with non-professionals? Porto Maquesda is a beautiful property, excellent location and we were extremely comfortable there! Our stay in Palermo was really super because at the last minute when we needed replacement accommodations, Armando at Porto Maqueda was there to save the day. We had a corner room with 2 balconies, double doors to keep things quiet and a very , very comfortable high ceilinged room and bed.Palermo is a very nice city and when we go back, we will stay here again.

Great location in the old town however, our host was not there on our arrival (which was only 30 mins later than estimated). Luckily there was a place for lunch nearby. Parking is very difficult and our host did not seem particularly concerned to help us with this. Our rooms were not serviced on the Sunday and the free breakfast consists of a voucher for a cafe nearby which entitles you to a croissant and tea/coffee. The rooms are spacious and modern but with just a little care this place could be excellent.

The hotel wanted us to call them when we were one hour away. Although very hard to find, you can’t beat the location of this place! We had a tough time even with the gps in our rental car. Just know that it will be a challenge but it will work out, hopefully with minimal frustration. We were directed to a parking garage (Parcheggio Maqueda) close by which was kept locked at night. We were able to easily find Simone, the parking attendant, the morning we had an early departure. (There was also a sign with his phone number if you needed to reach him which I've included in my photos.) Chiara and her dog greeted us inside the hotel. She was very nice and drew us a map with all the highlights close by. That was very helpful, and it put things in perspective for us! She then showed us our room. It was very purple! There were nightstands on each side of the bed. Ernest had an outlet on his side. No outlet on my side of the bed but there was a lamp. I unplugged the lamp to charge my phone. The bathroom was fairly large by European standards. Best of all, the shower was large enough to move around! The shower door was stiff and difficult to open/shut but I managed. There was no place inside the shower to put my soap so it was on the sink ledge and I had to open the shower door a few times. Shower did not drain well but there was a small ledge that I could stand on so that my feet had a clean rinse at the end. The light over the vanity gave out great light. The light in the room was so dim I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read my book. But there was a nice nightlight in the bathroom. The a/c was pretty ineffective. Despite dialing in a temperature, the room never really cooled down. Limited counter space in the bathroom. We were given breakfast vouchers good for one pastry and one drink at an adorable pastry shop just around the corner from our room.

A-Location B&B with very comfortable bed and pillows! Room number 105 is a very small room on the first floor on the Suite Quaroni accommodation. The shower was a bit small but very clean and has a nice rain showerhead. The bathroom is separated from the "living room". There's one window that can be opened. The bed was fantastic and the pillows were the best we've every slept on. The A/C was not functioning as it should've. Although we left it on all day every day, the stuff air kept within the room which was unpleasant. The fridge is very small, but does cool very well. Wi-Fi was decent. Suite Quaroni has a A-location in on of the crowded pedestrian areas of Palermo with lots of restaurants and bars. All tourist attractions can be visited by foot (30 min. max, one way). Simone (manager) provided quick answers through WhatsApp, although the quickest way to communicate was to translate English to Italian and vise versa. Does make your Italian rise to a higer level quickly, must admit.

I’m sad to write this review because the interiors of this hotel are delightful, as are the ladies in the morning. But I would not stay here again. Being from New York, I’m quite used to city noises and they don’t bother me. However we were awoken Saturday night after 3:30 due to screaming drunk people (there is a row of restaurants and bars on the street adjacent to the hotel). I would have written it off as being a light sleeper and it being a Saturday night. I was expecting a quiet night on Sunday, but that was not the case. We were awoken at 2:30 again, yelling drunk people and table pounding (perhaps a drinking game?) which went on til 3:30. And my husband is a heavy sleeper. People do live here, I don’t know how they deal with the noise. The location is excellent, very close to the old city’s center and lots of restaurants. It is not seedy or dangerous as someone else suggested. If you’d like to go where locals go, it is right around the corner. However the noise is intolerable and the ear plugs they supply don’t do anything to cut the noise. There is a room off the breakfast room that may not be subject to street noise, but you will probably wake up as the first person is served breakfast. I would only stay here if you are a very heavy sleeper or plan on staying out late yourself. They offer a nice breakfast with fresh blood orange juice and the room is large and comfortable. Tea, coffee and snacks are available 24/7. Please look into insulated windows, management!

For the hotel set by cruise ship, the location is just opposite the pier, and there is also its own free parking lot, which is super convenient. The room is a budget hotel, which is quite satisfactory. The most unexpected thing was the hotel's breakfast, which was hearty, and overlooked the harbour. It's not far from the scenic area, if you can, you can walk along the beach to Sijiaochang and the Royal Palace. We walked slowly for about 45 minutes. Overall very satisfied.

The room is super big, and the boxes are just spread out. Because Palermo is not big, it is convenient to go anywhere. The front desk provides a map, but the Italian cannot be read, so I still rely on Google. One thing to complain about is that the door of the room is a bit loose. As long as someone opens and closes the door, it will ping-pong. The first night we thought someone was opening our door, which scared us to death. Later, when the problem was discovered, the cabinet with the luggage was completely dead and quiet. Personally, this is still a big problem.

We wanted to stay in the Old Town to experience the feel of the narrow streets, local markets, museums, palaces, churches, and old buildings. La via delle Biciclette filled the bill! It is a flat in a 16th century building that used to be a palatial residence. The host parked in what was a grand circular drive-through entrance with tall ceilings and granite staircases to the upper floors. The B&B was very comfortable and the hosts made it like home. We hired the host to pick us up at the airport and he even took us to the car rental agency upon the completion of our visit. He and his wife were most helpful in guiding us to the sites we were interested in seeing and making excellent dinner recommendations. We were very happy with this most convenient B&B and the hosts.

we stayed here for one night. Arriving in the evening was a bit of a shock since part of the neighbourhood was run down, but the following day in full light we realised that a lot of palermo antique center is run down!!! the palazzo is beautiful and tastefully decorated, the room was ample very well appointed, the hygiene & beauty products as well as the bath towels were of very good quality. breakfast buffet was fresh and sufficient and included gluten free products which was great as I am celiac and had run out of my own supplies. The staff were very very friendly efficient and always available to help. There is a small square right in front of the hotel where you can park. We are planning a second trip to Palermo and will definitely stay there as a direct booking onto the website of the palazzo gives you an unbeatable rate that includes breakfast buffet. This B&B was the best decision ever. The location was prime since everything was walkable from here. Especially the Teatro Massimo, which was just 2 minutes away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They provided us with the towels, body wash and shampoo. They even put together a good breakfast for you in the morning. The bathroom was regularly cleaned. I think what really made the experience 5-star were the hosts - Guglielmo and Luigi! They were so accommodating and helpful, they catered to our every need and even gave us some incredible food recommendations. Our stay in Palermo was amazing and it was all thanks to their graciousness and hospitality. They even texted us before our flight to check in on us, gave us instructions on how to get there and asked us to text him when we land since he would be waiting for us to arrive. I would definitely recommend everyone to check in to Liola.

I stayed here for three nights in February and I slept in Room No. 1 - a quiet and spacious room with a comfortable bed, lovely flooring and a large bathrom. Although this room has a French window which looks out on a very enclosed space and gives little light to the room, I believe that, all things considered - for example the excellent breakfast, the charming and helpful hosts, plus the reasonable price - this is a very nice place to stay and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

We booked the B & B because of its location close to everything and there was parking close by. Here the review of the accommodation, but the hosts were truly outstanding see end of the post! The room was delightful, lovely and bright with a great terrace with table and chairs plus umbrella. The bedroom was a good size and very clean and well presented. The bathroom had a large shower. When you arrive they ask what type of croissants you would like for breakfast – we requested chocolate ones! The breakfast was served from 8.30am and the variety was great and the Latte was one of the best. To ensure the B & B has everything ready and meet you to park the car we used Whatsapp. We had just flown in and traveling from the airport to the B & B and Alexandra was going to meet us to park the car, but our hire car broke down 10 minutes away from the B & B. They drove out to us and helped in gaining a recovery truck and a new car as the hire company only wanted to speak in Italian. They stopped with us for nearly 4 hours! Without the kindness and generosity I do not know what we would have done. When we got to the B & B they also gave us a bottle of wine Truly amazing experience – thank you and every success with the B & B – we will be back xx

We stayed here in August for 3 nights, i got a phone call when i landed to see how long i would be. Found the liberty suites after walking around for a few minutes, they are a bit hidden but didnt mind that. Went to check in out room would be ready in 10 minutes which was perfect. Room very spacious, air con, big bathroom. And a very reasonably priced mini bar. The receptionist was a gentleman couldnt do enough if we had any questions he done hes very best to answer them. Breakfast plain and simple, breads, cheese meats, yogurts. Very close to teatro massimo where all the restaurants and bars are. We tried to look online before we went and while we were there to see where tourists went for food and drinks and could find nothing. So head to teatro massimo and its all there. Would 100% recommended the liberty suites.

Been in this location between the 11th and 18th of August . I`ve visited severals hotels in Palermo due to the fact my family lives there, but always stayed in 4 stars and above. So, I was wondering what time was going to be. Wow , I was wrong! Reception : Extremely friendly service at arrival , the girl ( julia, i guess ) was absolutely wonderful on explaining us all the hotel`s facilities and times and showing good care for us. Room : An exquisite room with an AMAZING view , we took the one with balcony, we could see the whole city, fridge freezer full of different drinks, and several bathroom towel . And honestly , I`m very clean freak , and that room was spotless. Facilities: To find an Hotel in palermo with swimming pool wasn`t easy ...but with 3 swimming pools I reckon impossible, in the end of the day Palermo is a city surrounded by beaches so , not many are really keen on stay at the pool, but because of the location of the Hotel , those pool were the best, expecially the one that look at the city, fantastic. Restaurant : If you wondering where to eat , you have 2 choices , or going around in Palermo with the crazy traffic and been ripped off by a turistic restaurant or... enjoy an amazing service and the restorant ( i capricci di Cristian ) at the 5th floor of the hotel. OMG! the pizza was perfection. The pasta dishes pure art, and the desserts so delicate. I almost had dinner everyday in there, obviously a la cart...and even reasonable prices. The service was spot on, restaurant was full but 2 waiters managed to run it smoothly. Breakfast included : I`m italian by blood , so I didn`t mind croissant in the morning , but my partner is english , so he could choose a nice savoury breakfast with parma ham , salami etc...drinks were included too, which I was expecting it...and even if you see the orange juice coming from a machine , was actually quiet nice. Location: I knew what I was going to get , the hotel is far from the city and a taxi can be quiet pricy from there ....but ....surprise ....they have a transport service from the hotel to city center and back to the hotel, just following their timelines but 14euros p/p with return , I thought was a bargain , a taxi would had cost us about 80 euros (not joking). I had the chance to congratulate the Hotel Director , a very nice man that walks around doing basically anything he can do to make that place even better, I saw him cleaning , I saw him serving at the kiosko near the pools, telling people off from the glass that face the pool ( obviously for not respecting the rules ) this guy is amazing I must say. Conclusion : 3 Stars ? MMMmmmhhh I`m not sure, I`ve been in many 4 stars in Palermo and they were absolutely horrible . This structure deserve more than 3 stars, I truly reccomend it , and we will definitely come back. Thanks to the staff and management .

This hotel is a short walk outside the main stretch of Palermo. It's a little bit hidden and we had some trouble finding it. Google maps and some reading of the various signs was essential. The hotel is very small, taking up one floor of a tallish building. This means there is little street sound, which is nice. However, due to the small number of rooms, you're likely to be placed near the lobby, which is sometimes a little loud. The hotel has a bio theme, so there's lots of plants and some interesting handmade art on the walls. Our room had some art made out of orange peels, which was weird but nice. Breakfast was pretty good, although somewhat limited. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is one warning to note: the elevator is very old, and very small. If you are at uncomfortable in confined spaces, you will not like this elevator. It is also impressively slow. It feels like the elevator could only be this slow by design. That's how slow it is. We usually walked the 8 floors of stairs going down, because it was quicker. Aside from the elevator, this is a convenient and cheap place to stay. Recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this new hotel. My room was large, well equipped (including a kettle) and the bed comfortable. It had two balconies with a view of the street below and a glimpse of the marina. The walk in shower was powerful and easy to control. The wifi was fast and easy to use but I did not need the air conditioning. Housekeeping was of a high standard. Breakfast (included in the price) was simple, of high quality, presentation and service excellent. It is located a few minutes walk from Via Roma and Via Vittorio Emanuele in the old town. The area is rather run down but this was not a concern. The airport shuttle stops at Via Roma and was convenient. Above all I was impressed by the excellence of all the people working at the hotel.

Where do I start? With the thing that makes this stand out from any hotel, and probably most other B&B's - Georgia. She is the perfect hos, and takes such pride in her immaculate renovated apartment. You really do feel like family and there's nothing that is too much trouble for her. She even wasted 2 hours of her day just chatting to me about life in Sicily when I arrived early off the overnight ferry before my room was ready. No matter what you need help with - transport, sightseeing tips, where to buy just about anything....she will help. If you want to get a glimpse of real Sicilian life, this is the place to stay. Location is fantastic - in a beautiful old apartment building in the upscale part of town. An easy walk from the port and into the centre. Plenty of eating and drinking options for all budgets nearby (Pastry Martino on the opposite corner serves amazing canoli and great coffee, and Pizzeria Biondo had the best reasonably-priced pizzas we had in Sicily), and a nice vibe on Friday and Saturday nights. The rooms were immaculate and very thoughtfully designed with the quality you'd expect from Italy. There were a few comments about the noise from other rooms - if you've lived in an apartment this wouldn't be an issue. If you haven't, earplugs are supplied, so don't let this put you off. The B&B is a large 4/5 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor (or thereabouts) with a breakfast room - I'm not a morning person but I enjoyed chatting to the guests who were staying there as the sort of people who stay at B&Bs tend to be interesting to meet, and good for sharing tips and travel ideas. All in all, I cannot recommend this B&B enough. Palermo was the highlight of my Italy trip, and this B&B was the best I've stayed in. Grazie Georgia!

Delicious breakfast - with everything that your heart desires (prosciutto, mozzarella, cheese, fresh tomatoes, fresh bread, fresh pineapple & orange juice, fresh-cut fruits, yogurt, muesli, almonds, lots of sweets - mini cannoli so so lovely, brioche, cake, biscuits, pistachio cream etc). Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice decorated. I spent my birthday weekend in the gorgeous Deluxe Junior suite! Communication prior and during the stay was amazing, Davide and Francesco were great hosts! This is not a hotel or B&B in a traditional sense, most things are managed remotely and hosts give you a lot of privacy! The room was excellent, free bottle of Prosecco upon arrival! My favourite thing was the bed! SUPER COMFY! The shower and hot tub were incredible, especially after a long day of exploring the city! Be mindful of the water levels and side pumps, if over-flowing, the water will spill onto the floor and set off the flood alarm system!!! Lesson learned lol. Breakfast was average but worth it for the price of the suite! The area is so close to the main train station, all attractions are within 15min walk, the area might be questionable for some but I liked the vibe - filled with working-class locals :) I even received a gift as I checked out! I would thoroughly recommend this little hotel. It is run by two enthusiastic sisters - they really are "La Laconda Del Gagini"! We flew from Stansted, London and the flights to and from Palermo were late. We very nervous of taking a taxi without phrasebook Italian - but they picked us up from the airport, dropped us off when we departed and even stored our luggage during our departure day. They made great recommendations of things to do, and were very sweet with our children. Our room was enormous! (compared to other Italian hotels that we have stayed in). The room was also kept clean and spotless. It had an old palatial grandeur - with Wifi. The hotel is central in a quiet side street, with lots of restaurants, markets and sights within easy walking distance. Breakfast is good and Sicilian - lots of cake. We are hoping to return one day.

Just came back from a 16-day trip to Sicily and we loved every bit of it! Palermo was the last stop of our trip and we spent 4 nights at the Quattro Canti B&B. Location is excellent, just right opposite the Fontana Pretoria (fountain of shame) and few steps away from the beautiful Quattro Canti junction. Teatro Massimo is a convenient 10mins walk away and the airport bus is round the corner in front of Rinascente. We felt very safe in this area and there are many restaurant options within 5 mins walk. We had a room on the second floor facing the next building hence not much of a view. Room is okay overall and bed is firm and comfy. The restaurant on the top floor has a good view. Special thanks to Bernadetta at the front desk who was extremely helpful with all our needs.

There were a few things that made this stay good and not so good. Firstly, the noise from the outside street enters the room. You can also hear the tv from the next door room and people talking No extra pillow or blanket was provided. One bedroom wasn’t made up when told it would be. First impressions on arriving at night was “what have I got into?” As the surrounding area looked quite neglected and somewhat scary. In daylight it looked better, but it is still outside the old area and the total precinct is quite dirty and unkempt. The way that Salvatore has renovated the property’s beautiful, but there are a few little things that would further improve the stay. For €10 it was nice to sit down to a table that had been immaculately set and served breakfast, however, for the money, it wasn’t quite worth it. There is only so much food one can eat for breakfast. By not including breakfast, this also means that this is not a true b&b in the sense that we know it. Also, there weren’t enough eggs for everyone and there were two slices of salami and four slices of cheese between six of us, however, there were plenty of rolls and pastries. The other disconcerting things were that the family live adjacent to the rooms and have a security camera within the living area that was part of our accommodation. It was like Big Brother watching over us. The owner is rightly, very proud of his accommodation, so be aware that under no circumstances is oily food allowed in the accommodation at all. We found out the hard way by being strongly told off. With all of that I’m not sure whether I would stay here again due to the noise factor from the street, the restrictions and the area.

This is a combination of the very old (a refuge for fallen women we were told) and modern comforts. It is a swine to find, especially on a Saturday afternoon, when roads and alleys are blocked, but once you get orientated, it proved very central. Very helpful and gracious staff, a pleasant breakfast, decent wi-fi, comfortable rooms arranged in an unusual layout. Once inside it is quiet, outside can be noisy due to an ethnic community centre being nearby where people seem to be enjoying themselves! All on all, quite a find.

B&B Quattro Incanti is a very convenient place to stay for a visit in Palermo. Very close to the Central Station and in the heart of an old city, everything in a walking distance. Our room was not very big, but very thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable living, very clean and inviting. A bathroom was spacious. We had an electric kettle in the room. The breakfast was really superb: the main attraction were extremely tasty home-made cookies and marmelades. The breakfast zone (always open) is upstairs and includes a wonderful terrace with a view! It was very quiet inside, though B&B was full of guests. Notwithstanding a vivacious via Romana nearby, it was rather quiet at nights. B&B Quatro Incanti has its own, very individual atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly, due to the hosts. Alessandro was very helpful and attentive, but we also felt a solicitous concern of his family as well. Due to them we had very nice and relaxing stay in Palermo!

Really glad I chose this place, super location and very stylish room. A delicious spread for breakfast every morning, including Sicilian pastries. I loved the view from the balcony, watching cruise liners and ferries arrive and depart. The staff were super friendly and I would definitely stay here again as it was such great value.
