My wife and I are constant travelers for business and pleasure and appreciate superb hotels when we stay in them. This Renaissance is one of the good ones. We initially chose it for its close proximity to the Everglades Cruise Port and that worked out very well. What we didn't know is that it is also just a short walk away from the Water Taxi which takes one all around the Fort Lauderdale area. That was a great plus. Location aside, the staff were superb from check-in to food service to check out. At the Front Desk, Santiago and Crystal made us welcome with friendliness, useful information and great ease. Donny brightened our dining experience. And when we made transportation arrangements and eventual departure to the cruise ship, Chris and Jack were there to help all the way. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again next cruise.

Still the kind of hotel I like, but I booked the pier view room of the main building before, but I didn't know that the person who arrived at the front desk said that it was changed to the room in the deputy building. I didn't know what was wrong in the middle, because the room in the main building was confirmed by the reservation again and again and the customer service. But when I checked in, I was ruled by the hotel brother and went to the deputy building. . . The overall environment of the hotel is still OK, 40 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes by taxi to the beach, and it is very convenient to leave the cruise terminal. The hotel will provide a car to the pier for 6 dollars. If you do a cruise, booking a hotel must be a good choice. The surrounding dining and supermarket are also more convenient. Overall is OK

We had an overnight stay prior to a cruise. The hotel has a shuttle from the airport but I forgot and we took an uber which was cheap. One down spot was the check-in. A little disorganized--lots of people waiting for a room all at the same time. I questioned one person with a list and she said we were on it and would be called. We were not called. I finally went to the desk and we were checked in by Darek,, pleasant and friendly. We were in room 526--room clean and everything in order. Not sure if there are 2 sections to this hotel was our room seemed up-to-date unlike some of the other reviews. There is a free breakfast--which was more than adequate--pancakes, eggs, yogurt and much more. Luckily we were there before it got really crowded. We did share our table with another couple. The hotel ended up setting up tables in room near by. I would think they would know the number of people and have enough set up. One of the pancake machines was not working. We took an uber from the hotel for about $11 for the 2 of us--worth it! Didn't want to use the hotel shuttle since I believed that was $9 per person and didn't know how it would be with so many people going at the same time. If you want a nice Italian meal near the hotel, try Bistro Mezzaluna--nice place--great food. I think mostly locals diners

Breakfast is a small cake, biscuit and coffee. The key is that the hotel has free buses to the cruise terminal every hour, but they are fully booked, and finally have to take a taxi to the terminal. Ctrip.com should inform this when booking and help customers book the shuttle location in advance

We stayed here before our cruises in February (which we managed to complete before the cruise industry shut down. We had stayed here in 2012 and 2013 again before cruises but we then felt that the place was needing some attention badly. Having read recent reviews we decided to give it another try and we were plessantly susprised. We had asked for an early check in online as we were transferring from the DoubleTree at Sawgrass but we were advised the day before that they couldn't accomodate us. I then checked in on line for a room on the 12th floor with a view if the port. When we arrived we were tols our room was available. To my surprise we were given a room facing the port on floor 11. Despite planning to eat out both evenings, the Cocktail period got the better of us and we ended up eating in the hotel each evening. The food was fine and the evening cocktail period seemed to have extended to at least 2 to 2.5 hours. A pleasant change was the ability to pay a discounted price for certain better spirits which we took advantage of each evening. We never really enjoyed the well spirits that they used to serve so it was good to have the option to buy at at reduced cost. If the cruise industry gets back to operating as normal we will return.

This location was close to a variety of restaurants (Outback, seafood restaurants) and stores (Publix, clothing stores). It was easy to walk to many of these. The main street (about a block away) was very busy, but it felt safe to walk in this area. The check in process was good. The staff were helpful when I asked questions about the area. The room was well appointed and clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport was an added bonus to this gem of a property.

I have stayed in 4 different rooms over the last 5 years, for 10 days at a time. I look forward to this vacation all year, and every year it gets better. Although the place is beautiful, and relaxing, and at times very sexy, the thing that is the most valuable to me is Doug and his staff. Doug treats his guests as if they are actually his guests, (not just customers). He always has a smiling face, and cheerful joke. When I have had a problem with the room, (light bulb broken), it was fixed right away. When ever I needed anything, I went to the office, and my need was gladly provided for. When I have arrived late at night, Doug has always made arrangements for me. There is always a couple of cold beers, a couple of cold sodas, and some cold bottled water in my fridge when I check in. At Inn Leather, I feel that I am more than just a guest, I am among friends. Folksy. The resort is made of older buildings, but they are always clean. The grounds are covered with plants, shrubs and beautiful flowers. There are mirrors, fountains, and alcoves scattered around the property. Lounge chairs, and tables with unbrellas, and padded furniture grace the outside area. Breakfast is coffee, liquid creamer, sugar, etc., orange juice, fresh fruit, pastries, fresh fruit yogurt, and hard boiled eggs, among other things, served on the covered patio. There are vending machines too. Every year I look forward to invesigating the new, beautiful, delights that Doug is constantly adding to the resort. I am never disappointed. At night there are flaming Tiki torches, and other lighting around the walkways. Quaint. Around the beautiful, clean pool you will find naked men sunbathing. There are outdoor slings for play, and, in a secluded spot, an outdoor bathtub painted yellow. Each room has a sling, and some have f*ck benches, and one has a St. Andrews cross. My partner spend alot of happy times tied to that cross last year. The hot tub is big and clean, and there is a outdoor urinal, hot shower, and enclosed toilet too. On some days there are pool parties, with naked horny men doing.... well, you can guess. Erotic. To be clear, this is not the Ritz. However, you could never have this wonderful, sexual, inclusive expereince at the Ritz!

We picked this location due to its proximity to the airport and the port. The hotel provided a shuttle to the port with multiple choices for departure times. I believe it was $9 per person. Location was also convenient as there is a CVS right next door for any last minute things to purchase before you cruise. There is also a mall with a Publix for anything else in an approx. 15 minute walk. The hotel has been renovated. Breakfast was not included with our stay and I believe was $14.99 per person...a little pricey when there are other restaurant options in a short walk or drive. Bathroom was clean, bright and spacious. Definitely located at a busy intersection, but noise was minimal.

We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise. The Oasis is close to airport and cruise port. It was about $15 using uber from airport and about $7 to cruise port. The staff were nice. The court yard was amazing with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. We also saw a cat there. The room was a little dirty on the floors. The front door of the room opened outward which is kind of odd. The weirdest thing was there was a small step to get in the bathroom. This can be a tripping hazard if you had to use bathroom in the middle of the night. The wifi was really slow. We went to Starbucks across the street to get decent wifi. There was a Walgreens and Pizza hut nearby. All in all I would recommend staying at the Oasis and would return again.

The booked hotel does not include breakfast, the location is good, the airport and the cruise terminal are very close, the transportation is convenient, there is a shuttle bus. The room and the bed are quite big, the room has a microwave oven, the air conditioning sounds a bit noisy, and the impact of the airport is good.

We visited during the COVID outbreak and the hotel has taken all the precautions. Only 1 person at a time in the office. Face mask and gloves required in the office. Hand sanitizers throughout the property. 24 hour between guests in the rooms. All the towels needed for your stay are provided up front so no need for housekeeping to enter. Check-in was super efficient and fast, less than 5 minutes. This is one of the smaller properties in the area but they had everything we needed at a great price. We selected this property because it was close to the airport and within walking distance to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park (less than 10 minutes from the property to the getting your feet in the ocean). This was the end of our weeklong vacation and we decided to stay 2 days in Fort Lauderdale. We selected the Deluxe with Kitchenette. Due to COVID, we wanted to eat in as much as possible. There is a Publix that's a 5 minute drive away. Also ample fast food within a 5 minute drive. The property is a smaller 3 story hotel but it had a great feel. Kind of nostalgic exterior but the interior has all been recently renovated. The furniture was modern and the bathroom and kitchen was recently remodeled and look modern. The kitchenette consisted of a full sized fridge (smaller but definitely not a micro-fridge), small microwave, coffee pot, blender, 2 burner electric stovetop, cookware and dishware. Enough to prepare simple meals which we appreciated with COVID. The best part are the property managers, Brian and Eileen. Both were very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. Just set your expectations accordingly and you'll be pleasantly surprised. It was one of the more affordable options and it exceeded our expectations for the price and service. Sure you can find bigger rooms, nicer pools, more amenities but not at this price. There are plenty of new hotels in the area if you're looking for the resort experience. We needed an affordable place close to the beach that had 2 beds and allowed us prepare meals and this place met all that. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

The regular milk coffee juice toast for breakfast is relatively single. Travelers who do not have breakfast requirements can choose the hotel. The location is good. It is close to the mall. It is close to the sea. Our rented car will be very convenient to go out. It is a lizard. It’s a little scary because it’s all slaps big, hahaha. The key is that we can’t stand it when we walk around in slippers, but we are not afraid of these friends who are not afraid of problems. The overall situation is not bad.

This entire place is horrible! This place needs to be shut down. This is Not a hotel its a Bug Infected Motel. The rooms look Decrepit walls and paint falling apart the bathrooms Disgusting and the clientele that stays there are all Drug Dealers and Crack Heads. When I told the manager that I didn't feel comfortable to stay there due to the bugs, unsanitary room and shady environment he had a I don't care attitude and charged for room still, which I didn't agree with because it was the bugs and unsanitary environment I was not comfortable with. Well didn't take long before he became Very Unprofessional and Irate Yelling and Screaming at me. He even Threatened to Throw me in the Pool! I have never come across anyone or place like this ever before. Please Do Not make the mistake like I did. This place seriously needs to be thoroughly inspected and shut down. You get a nice feeling when you enter the lobby of this hotel, but even better when you walk outside to the rear of the building. Beautiful views of the Intracoastal, the boats, the homes on the opposite shore, and a cityscape of Ft. Lauderdale in the distance. Oh, but I should have mentioned the welcome and courteous service of the young man who handles the valet parking. His name was Corey. There is always a bit of confusion whenever I drive up to the front of a hotel. This time there was 4 of us in the car. So when we all exited the vehicle, Corey was right there to help us unload the car, and calmly directed us to the lobby. He had a good sense of humor and helped us to feel at ease. The front lobby is spacious, and I felt a bit of a disconnect with the front desk which is situated off to one side. And because of the current pandemic, I left it to my wife to check-in. But after our stay, I went to the desk to tell them that we were checking out. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and asked about our stay. I said that it was very nice, but if I had had the time, I would have told her that and we loved the views from our balcony, and that the room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated.

11/15/19 My husband and I were staying at this hotel as the next day we were going on a cruise. Unfortunately our plane was delayed and our luggage lost so I texted the hotel describing our misfortune and that we would be arriving very late. No problem he said. Now it’s almost midnight when our cab dropped us off and there we were unable to find the office. We walked completely around hotel....no office. Luckily a lady was in the courtyard and said she ran into the same scenario and she informed us that we had to go two doors down to another hotel that checks in late arriving guests. I never received any more texts from the man when asking how to check in. Crickets. If it wasn’t for that lady there just at the right time, we wouldn’t have received instructions on how to check in late. LaCasa had absolutely no signage around the property to let guests know where to check in. This was a very scary and horrible experience and LaCasa needs a much better way to let late arriving guests know how and exactly where to check in. Also once we got to the port I remembered I left something in the suite and immediately called LaCasa. They said they would check and get back with me ASAP....have heard nothing from them since. Must say tho, our suite was very lovely and thank goodness for that!!

We were on our way down to Key West and just needed a place to crash for the night. While on the road I googled 'where to stay in Ft. Lauderdale' & Casitas came up. I called & spoke to Gary & he took care of everything right then & there! Our room was SO cute and charming; very clean, air conditioning was COLD (to our liking), bed mattress was firm (to our liking) & had coffee machine & fixings right there. We left the next morning after walking around the property. Nice pool with adequate number of pool loungers and great landscaping.. We will DEFINITELY stay here next year on our way down - probably come a couple of days earlier so we can enjoy the place longer. You should by ALL means check it out ;-}

This is a motel-like hotel with great value for money. This price actually comes with a small living room and free parking spaces. Location is closer to the beach. The hotel does not provide free breakfast, but the hotel itself has a restaurant similar to a bar, you can order, there is a restaurant across the road (the breakfast is good). I like the seaside city of Fort Lauderdale, quiet and clean, for tourists who come here Most of them are on vacation and leisure, driving a lot and taking family as a unit.

We were two couples booked at the Nobleton Hotel for two nights before a cruise. We arrived very early in the morning hoping to store our luggage and go for a walk until our rooms were ready. Tony the manager was very accommodating. We had other friends booked into another Hotel that wasn't very nice so Tony went out of his way to find a room for them. The Hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the little extras for no charge, also lounging around the pool was very pleasant, we could even use the laundry. The Hotel is close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Tony and his staff went out of their way to make our stay the best. I would say this is one of the most pleasant hotels we stayed in.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with the whole family (2 adults, 3 children). The room was nice and spacious, and as usual the beds are awesome! Cleaning was also good. Frontdesk was very accommodating & friendly. A huge plus for free parking at the hotel. A nice & clean pool at the 4th floor, although the wind was somewhat bothersome. Then there is the restaurant. Really good food/menu for all the non-allergic, but a quite limited for all with gluten or egg allergies. However the staff make up for this, in particular one server for the 2 days we stayed there - Dimitri. They should really take care of this guy, he is gold & truly understood our difficult time with dealing with these allergies. There is however a major problem currently at this hotel, that I overheard will be solved in the near future: The elevators. One hotel of 11(?) floors to share 2 elevators? We ended up spending quite an amount of time just waiting for the elevator to be available. And believe me, with 3 boys this ain't easy.

Having stayed at many a hotel in the U.S and abroad for business, I must say my pleasant experience at a Gzella Collection property is positively worth noting… After an exhausting full day’s drive – I was greeted with an inviting “warm welcome” at check-in. The “magic moment” was when I was relocated to another sister hotel property due to my particular situation. I was simply amazed by the thoughtfulness and consideration given to me by Ilona/Hotel Coordinator and the Front Desk team for taking care of me in such a grand way – has made for an enjoyable long-term stay… I have found Fortuna Beach Hotel to be an unpretentious, quaint, charming place – just steps from the beach and all the eateries. If sand and saltwater are not your style, the tropical pools are great for fun and frolic. And how about convenient front door parking! You can’t beat that… The rooms have all the essential amenities one could ask for, yet the unobtrusive housekeeping/ maintenance staff are always around and willing to assist. It has been an incredibly gracious stay and the staff compliments the experience! True hospitality and satisfaction at its best…

My husband and I live in Ft Lauderdale and we held our wedding at The Pillars in 2019 - our guests still talk about it!- and we keep going back to this fabulous find nestled on the intercoastal because we love the POSH and consistently-fabulous experience of intimate and exceptional dining at their Secret Garden restaurant with waterside, patio and indoor (socially distant spacing!) areas to enjoy. With the extra-special attention every guest receives from Hotel Manager Guy and his A+ staff (shout outs to Carmen and Alan!) it's impossible not to feel well-cared for - it's like having your own private get away within walking distance of the beach and with a personal entourage looking after your every need. I really liked this place. It was everything I expected. The room was clean and comfortable. It did have a musky beach hotel smell but I wouldn't say that it was a bad thing. If you looked hard you would find things that needed updating but they were working on it. I almost cancelled due to construction that was going to be happening during my stay. That plus some really bad reviews. I'm SO glad I didn't change my reservation. This was exactly what I was wanting. So close to the beach, shopping and dinning. The only bad things I experienced was the lady in the room above me coming in at 4am with high heels on the wooden floor. Next time will request upstairs room. Also the lady at the "front desk" when I checked out was a bit rude / disinterest.

Stayed in a Cool Corner Room at the W in late February. Overall a good stay but several issues. Room had a nice view but the layout of the room is a bit odd. There is no door from the bedroom into the bathroom which results in a lack of privacy. Also, the shower/bedroom wall is opaque glass. I was out early every morning for meetings while my wife slept in. The light from the bathroom flooded the sleeping area through that wall. Overall, service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint is the pool area. The chairs are right on top of each other and the area can be very congested. I found out that this was due to the hotel (and other hotels in the area) selling day passes to the pool. It is a little ridiculous to pay $400. to $800 or more per night and then have to fight for space at the pool with people who are paying $45. for a day pass.
