0.88km from De Rode PimpernelMaybe it's because it is still fairly new and reputations take time to build but I am surprised this only comes in at 11 on the Den Bosch list. The place has been cleverly converted and is a mix of traditional with some very moden touches. The beds are comfortable, the rooms a good size and the bathroom well equipped with an excellent shower (and a tub in our room at least). The staff are friendly and helpful (although there is no front desk for most of the day and you are on your own so don't forget your key when going out!) - they even emailed us to report that we had left a book behind after we had checked out offering to post it on, as it was, we had finished it but that is excellent service. Coffee is available all day in the lounge with a Nespresso machine in the room. There is a complimentary minibar in the room and a small bottle of Prosecco to welcome you on arrival, a nice touch. The location is superb being steps away from the main station and just a few minutes into the centre with its vast number of bars, restaurants and shops as well as the sights of course. Breakfast was very nice and they will cook you an egg but is quite pricey for what it is. This has to be reserved the afternoon before as everything is ordered in. One word of warning, if you are on the second floor it's quite a hike up the stairs and no lift! There are ground floor rooms and if you have mobility problems this should be specified. If we return to Den Bosch, this will be our place to stay.
