Our visit to this Best Western Hotel was generally a relaxed and pleasing one, however, there were a few hiccups to begin with and slight staff inattentiveness. Yet, I’ve decided to give the benefit of the doubt and award four stars. Firstly, the hotel is much larger than you’d expect. It’s clearly a base for functions and parties as much as it is for travelling guests. The interior decor mixes from outmoded, out-of-the-ark style wood finishes to more modern and classic surroundings throughout. Our twin room (310) was reasonably big and the air-conditioning was thankfully totally operational and a real asset. Disappointingly, our companions’ rooms (301, 302) despite being required as twins came with double bed comforters, sheets and bedding. We had to ask the staff downstairs a couple of times to have this sorted as we had specifically all ordered twins. This was the beginning of some slightly inert behaviours – for example, we wanted to order a taxi one day and had to wait thirty minutes for the staff to actual get a quote; another day we hired bikes from reception and it took over thirty minutes because the keys and garage door fobs were either missing or non-working; and finally drinks service at the bar was slightly off-colour. Having said all that, I’m prepared to overlook it because the overall stay was a good one. Our beds were very comfortable and, whilst simple, the bathroom facilities were fine. Breakfast is a good affair with a reasonable spread of everything from breads, fruit and yoghurts to hot, cooked sustenance. COVID-19 social distancing measures are laid out through the hotel and at least in that respect the property is doing their part. The location is fantastic, along Kerkstraat, right near Sint-Janskathedraal and many bars and restaurants besides. So, on the whole a little hit and miss when it comes to the staff but they mean well, and the experience was generally quite positive.

I stayed at The Duke Boutique Hotel for a recent business trip but it turned out to be a mix of business and pleasure due to this wonderful hotel. The rooms are modern/industrial/country chic and each with its own character. Well appointed, spacious and with great extras (clothes steamer, eco toiletries, Bluetooth speaker disguised as an old time radio and the softest slippers!!). I had space in my room (the podium suite) to layout my yoga mat for my morning meditation and yoga practices. The staff was helpful, kind and accommodating. There is a full gym that you can go to (independently operated so it’s an extra charge) and yoga classes as well. I didn’t partake in the morning breakfast but the smells were heavenly. I would totally come back here!

This place has a great location in front of the town square. The rooms are a bit dated but this was back in May 2019 and could have changed by now. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast is awesome! You can walk anywhere (bars, restaurants, shops, etc.) from this hotel without the need for a taxi or bus. Good stay overall!

The hotel is located just outside the city center and can easily be reached by car. The hotel have spaces you can use for a fee in a parking garage nearby. The receptionist was very welcoming and we could check in at once - even though we arrived quite early. Our room was on the ground floor and not a room I would recommend. It had windows towards a garden. It was nice and quiet, but when the window is so low on the wall that passers by easily can put their head through the opening it’s not really my cup of tea. What was worse was that the staff had wardrobes (probably for towells and bed linens) just outside our door, and they keps slamming the doors ever so often. The bathroom was large and clean, but the shower was directly on the floor and had no wall or curtain - just a mop hanging on the wall so you could deal with the water after showering. Why there is not a wall between the shower and the sink beats me. It certainly is not because the room are meant for disabled persons because the space between the bed and the bathroom door is not very large. The bed however was comfortable, the TV had an adequat selection of channels and there was coffe/tea facilities,

We stayed in room 210 and it was a spacious suite with every little detail taken care of from the full complimentary mini bar to the fruit basket, fluffy luxurious towels and bathrobes, the room was a mix of luxury and a funny eclectic mix of colours and furnishings but overall it worked, the staff were all friendly and the detailing in the styling of the hotel was unbelievable, even the wiring was painted gold and all the conduit..i loved this hotel it was such a mix of all things twee, so much design flaws but just worked here.the roof terrace was a tranquil oasis and worth a visit..i couldnt highly recommend this hotel enough.

On arrival, we loved the entrance with the bridge to the hotel, it looked really idillic. At check-in we were met by the very friendly owner. After dropping of our luggage at the hotel, we parked our car at Parking de Wolvenhoek, about 300 meter from the hotel. The location of the hotel is wonderful: in a quiet old spot in the middle of the bustling city of Den Bosch. WIthin 200 meters you are in the heart of the action close to some very nice restaurants. We had the appartement consisting of 2 floors. It was decorated in a very stylish manner and it felt like home away from home. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was served in the room which was quite a nice feature. We really loved the Uylenhof hotel and really like to go back some other time.

Our visit to Den Bosch was to see the city where my father and his family came from, so we wanted to be in a central location to make the most of our short stay. Hotel ‘t Keershuys exceeded our expectations in every way. The Royal Suites are set in a separate building just across the lane from the main hotel/ bistro entrance. Our Royal suite # 8 was on the middle floor of the building, so up 2 flights of stairs of which the second set are a typical steep spiral. The rooms are very modern, and are decorated with calming colours and high quality furnishings, but still retain their historic charm with original exposed beams and brick wall. Something to note ~ although the Royal Suite has 2 king beds in their own area, they are only separated by an open wall partition. So they are fine for families, but not really 2 x 2 couples if you want your privacy. Or if you are travelling with bad snorers! The rooms have black out blinds with remote control and although the hotel location was in a very busy location for our Friday night stay, the windows seemed to cut out most of the noise when closed. Just be aware if you are a light sleeper though. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff are very responsive with emails and speak fantastic English. They were warm and welcoming, and were very happy to hold our bags before and after check in. We loved our short stay in Den Bosch and it was made all the more enjoyable by staying at Hotel ‘t Keershuys. Highly recommended to stay here.

Maybe it's because it is still fairly new and reputations take time to build but I am surprised this only comes in at 11 on the Den Bosch list. The place has been cleverly converted and is a mix of traditional with some very moden touches. The beds are comfortable, the rooms a good size and the bathroom well equipped with an excellent shower (and a tub in our room at least). The staff are friendly and helpful (although there is no front desk for most of the day and you are on your own so don't forget your key when going out!) - they even emailed us to report that we had left a book behind after we had checked out offering to post it on, as it was, we had finished it but that is excellent service. Coffee is available all day in the lounge with a Nespresso machine in the room. There is a complimentary minibar in the room and a small bottle of Prosecco to welcome you on arrival, a nice touch. The location is superb being steps away from the main station and just a few minutes into the centre with its vast number of bars, restaurants and shops as well as the sights of course. Breakfast was very nice and they will cook you an egg but is quite pricey for what it is. This has to be reserved the afternoon before as everything is ordered in. One word of warning, if you are on the second floor it's quite a hike up the stairs and no lift! There are ground floor rooms and if you have mobility problems this should be specified. If we return to Den Bosch, this will be our place to stay.

We chose this little hotel because of price and location near the station. We had no problem with the self-service check-in. I had a Dutch friend with me in case there was any kind of language problem but it just worked as it should and our friend was simply an observer and suitably impressed, too. The room was a good size -- I had studied the web site and knew that the least expensive rooms could be tiny so I spent a few more euros. This wasn't the fanciest room but it was good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern although a little narrow. Furnishings are relatively plain but just fine for our purposes. I liked the urban view and the sounds weren't loud enough to bother us. I would stay here again, without hesitation, if I were to return to den Bosch. As an aside, it was a lively little city with some great restaurants and easy access to Amsterdam and Germany.

I dont need a lot, but this was even below that standard. I just had a long cycling trip and was exhausted. If I wasnt that exhausted, i would have asked my money back about half way through the experience and cycled to another hotel.... Just a summary: - Price charged at the desk was higher then on their own website. - Was assigned a room that was under repair - After a room change, the second room didn't have curtains (due to that they were being cleaned due to Corona, but why give me that room?). -To make up for the error, I was offered a free beverage, but 5 minutes before I just bought two cans from the same guy.... so now I had 3 drinks... - On further inspection of the room, the sheets were dirty, but I could not be bothered changing rooms again. - The rooms themselves are very outdated, smelly and have a very tiny bathtub. Dont even think about laying it it, maybe the kids can use it, but not adults. - The restaurant looks like a construction workers hut (I know corona doesnt improve the cozyness, but still) - First got an amuse (of which I appreciate the idea) which was a small slice of old brie with a pickle.... - I was recommended a pasta bolognese (at 5 euro's more than the average menu price for other dishes). But it was cold, bad quality and not tasty. I did not finish it, although i was very hungry after the cycling. - I must admit that they gave me a 5 euro discount after I complained it was cold - Breakfast is pretty expensive (12 euros!) for what you get. For example the milk is "long lasting milk" and fried eggs or something else that is hot is not an option. The two staff members at the check in were very friendly, but clearly poorly trained / left hanging. All other staff members were also friendly, but barely speak Dutch. Long story short: Traveller: Skip this hotel if you can Campanile: Tear it down and build a new hotel incl. extensive training of the staff. If you dont build a new hotel, lower your prices signicantly!

Pros: Clean, kind reception and staff Cons: Far from everything, only 1 McDo then it is a desert. Breakfast poor compared to its price. Nothing to do in the hotel. Bus station far around 10min walking. For 2 consecutive days, they call me a taxi, the taxi says to arrive in 15min, the taxi arrives in 40min. also the taxi where smelling very bad as the driver were smoking inside just before getting me in
