We arrived at the Box Hill Motel, after driving from Sydney, on Saturday 14th December about 6 PM. We selected this motel on the basis that they provide a free WIFI connection for their guests. When we asked the manager, Sue to arrange for someone to help us set up our computer, she said there was no one available and gave us a telephone number to contact for assistance. When we tried this number the line was busy and we were put on hold. After being on hold for fifteen minutes, the connection was broken and we had to redial the number and start again. This happened three times. In frustration, we contacted the manager several times and were advised that all other guests had no problem with the WIFI connection and implied that the problem was our fault. Her attitude was that this was not her problem and if we were not happy with the service we should check out. No refund was offered. Her behaviour was not what we expected from a motel manager. They are supposed to look after their guests and attend to any problems they have. We eventually made the connection and were able to use the internet, no thanks to the manager. In view of these circumstances we will certainly not recommend the Box Hill Motel.
There is no breakfast at the hotel, there is parking lot, there are markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, food courts within two minutes of going out, everything is very convenient, and you can buy foods without English. It is said that many Chinese live nearby, only local The building is made of wood, so the sound insulation is very poor. It should be a good hotel in the local area! Don't compare domestic service with what we serve. We booked for a few days, because the water and soil were not satisfied or the jet lag problem was basically spent at the hotel. Simple cooking is still possible, provided you buy oil and salt yourself. Soy sauce rice, no chopsticks! The best thing is that there are washing machines and dryers, oven dishwashers are useless!
There is a tram 75 to the Melbourne CBD near the hotel. The train station is far from the hotel and it takes 30 minutes to walk. There is a large supermarket near the hotel and shopping is very convenient. There is a parking lot. No breakfast, good health, very quiet, good service.
Very good, cleaning is in place, the TV cannot be turned on, and the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. The staff immediately came to replace the motor and did it in 15 minutes. The table lamps on the table were also replaced in time. The front desk staff is meticulous and wonderful.
Close to the Box Hill Chinese area and the station, there are a variety of dining options, it is also very convenient to go to the city and suburbs. More convenient is the laundry dryer and kitchen utensils, suitable for friends who like to travel freely.
I am Chinese. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The first time I feel it is acceptable. Now I feel worse and worse, but the location is better. The service can only be improved. There is no hot water in the bath, and the air conditioner is noisy. There is no spare pillow in the room, the sofa collapses, just the TV can meet the requirements. Such a room should not be offered to customers. I only stayed for one night so I didn't pursue other things. I won't stay at this hotel again.
The hotel is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. After coming out of Melbourne Airport, you can buy tickets at the door, $ 20, pay attention to the skyexprss shuttle in the direction of eastern, which runs about an hour and arrives in an hour. Get off at boxhill station. But the return trip will cost 38. The hotel is about 200 meters across the road from the drop-off point. The hotel's logo is not obvious, and Baidu navigation is not accurate. The hotel is very close to the Boxhill Center, convenient for shopping and daily consumption. If you want to participate in a day trip, you can buy it at a travel agency near boxhill. It is cheaper and more reliable than online shopping. It is all Chinese and easy to communicate. It takes about 30 minutes by train from the hotel to the city center. You have to buy a myki, $ 6, and you will be capped at $ 9 a day by car. Within two hours, you will be capped at $ 4.5. The hotel equipment is newer, the environment is good, and some people clean up the garbage every day.
We had an event at the rsl next door so the location was perfect for our needs. The kids loved the heated infinity pool & spa on the rooftop. The views were great (minus the construction) you could see the city as the sun went down as you were in the pool. The ladies at the front desk were friendly & very helpful.
Choosing to live here is very close to the shops of friends. Location Ten minutes walk from Box Hill, there are restaurants and supermarkets, very convenient, there is a tram to the city outside the hotel, the hotel has a parking lot of six yuan a day, the room is very large with washing machine and kitchen facilities. Clean and convenient.
Everything else is okay, that is, it is very troublesome to drive without driving. The place where the residence and the front desk are on both sides of the road, and the front desk, the attitude is very poor. Asians say that they don't understand Chinese. Typical two devils. I want a room, don't give me a two-room room, and then tell me that there is a bedroom that can't be used. It also means that I will check it at 10 o'clock in the morning. I will be too tired to be too lazy to talk to her. Then I think it is very angry. I can't look down on the Chinese. The hotel is usually 10 o'clock check out or 11 o'clock, also said to check to see if another bedroom has been moved. All the garbage must be cleaned up by yourself. Wonderful regulations. The room is really good, the experience is poor, and I gave the cash a deposit, I don’t understand why I have to brush my credit card for one Australian dollar. I don’t understand why, I hope the hotel will reply.
Booked an overnight stay last month when I had to pick my daughter up from the airport at an awful hour of the night. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Ample parking, a place to eat on site if needed, which looked to be very popular. The room was very light and welcoming. Very clean and tidy. The in room breakfast was very welcome. Considering we were off a very busy main road, it was very quiet in the room. The bed quality was amazing, allowing us a few hours of good sleep, once we got back to the room. Would definitely stay here again. Room rate was very reasonable also.
