      This hotel is an older style and the decor, including the rooms, is very dated but our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a room with two Queen beds, a microwave, bar fridge and a comfortable chair and, although the hotel was quite busy, it was quiet. A couple of negatives - the rug badly needed replacing as it was wrinkled, the in-room air conditioning/heater was extremely noisy and for those who rely on their electronics, there was only one USB charger. Check in and out was quick and easy and all staff we encountered were very friendly. The hotel is rather isolated in a mainly industrial area and there is virtually nothing within walking distance. I felt the rate we paid was on the high side, especially when looking at the normal rates advertised, however, the location was convenient for us as we had an appropriate nearby.

      I have stayed at Blackfoot a number of times for work and not once have I been disappointed with any aspect of the stay. This hotel is always in immaculate condition, everything is extremely clean. Blackfoot was the only hotel I stayed in throughout the entire pandemic that had put wipes outside of each elevator and a garbage inside of the elevator. Simple but super smart. I love that there are normal sized pillows on the bed as opposed to 8 tiny square pillows like a lot of hotels do. Staff are welcoming and food is delicious. This is a must stay.

The bed in room 118 is two 1.5 beds, which is quite wide. There are 81 tram stops at the door of the hotel, and 15-20 minutes walk north to the largest mall in the south. There is also a small restaurant in front of the hotel. It is a motel so parking is possible.

      Our room was clean and comfortable and fairly priced. The breakfast provided is ok and rooms are pet friendly. There is a swimming pool. Television channel selection is basic so if you want to view a movie your laptop or a trip to the theatre at the Chinook Shoppping Centre will have to do.The staff are very helpful. This Travel Lodge is located a short distance from the Chinook Shopping Centre and there are several restaurants located close by. The Automall is a 5 minute drive away.This was my second stay here and I would not hesitate to rebook.Recommended. .

      We just returned from a three week vacation, Victoria to Calgary and stayed at several high end/ highly rated hotels. We spent two nights at the Westley at the end of our trip. Our room was comfortable with a great bed. The bathroom also was terrific with a great shower. The restaurant area looked great but the menu was not to our taste. Other restaurants were in walking distance but we did have to do a bit of research to find them. The major drawback was a lot of noise outside at night. It would appear that the street the hotel is located on is a favorite for those who like to street race. Both nights we were woken up with what sounded like drag racing outside. We were on the second floor so perhaps this had something to do with it.. but sadly the noise is enough that I might hesitate to book here again.

      This new hotel is located just a short distance west of the Calgary Airport. It is very fresh and clean. Rooms are not large but are very comfortable and the design and appointments are terrific. Believe every room has a full kitchen including a stove top and dishwasher. Utensils and dishes were more than adequate. Only pots and pans were a bit sparce. There is a coffee bar but no toaster. Had a great sleep each of the 2 nights we stayed. The heat/ac unit worked very well and best of all, it was quiet. And the window can be opened a bit. We did not use the restaurant but there is a breakfast buffet for $10.50/person and a full-service restaurant. The hotel has fitness centre, pool and free shuttle service to and from the airport. Only negative is we found that lighting for the bathroom mirror, even with the separate light that goes all around the edge of the mirror on, could be better. Value for money spent was very good. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

      We stayed at the Royal Hotel October 2, 2022 due to our flight being cancelled by Lynx Air. At that time the hotel listed a shuttle from the airport, but when we called we were told there is no shuttle. It turned out to be a $35 taxi ride each way. The website also stated that there was room service available on Sundays but the restaurant is closed on Sundays. The location is not ideal unless you have a car to get around. The rooms themselves were clean, so if shuttle and on site meals are not an issue, it is a reasonable stay. Travellers rely on the information presented in the website so please be sure that it is accurate.

      The hotel is a bit far from the airport, but there is an airport shuttle bus. After getting off the plane, call the front desk to inform, and then wait at platform 16 for about 20 minutes. The overall environment is clean and relatively quiet, and the room size is OK. The next day I took the shuttle bus to the airport to pick up the car. Live this hotel back and forth, nice!

It is very comfortable to eat. The room was quiet and there was an elevator. The only drawback is that thick curtains can't cover all the windows, light leakage affects sleep, and I don't understand why this design. The overall price is good this season.

      I booked on Expedia and of course checked in like a normal guest. Once I got to my room I looked around and it was an absolute mess. Some kind of sauce everywhere, white substance on the tv, hair on the pillow and garbage left out. I then walked back to the front desk and asked for my a refund because of what the stat of my room was. They then asked me to contact Expedia for this as I booked it through them. I did this and Expedia said that the hotel manager needs the approve this refund. I get that I need to contact Expedia for this but they need the managers approval is a bit absurd. I am now in another hotel and waiting for the manager to approve the refund. The employee lied to Expedia agent and said I was in the room for an hour and then came to the front desk for a refund. I did what any normal guest would do in a case like this. They did not offer me another room but I did say I wouldn’t accept another room if they offered it as my first room was disgusting. The employee said she need to check the room but then chose not to once she realized it was booked on Expedia. Lazy and smart on her part because I am sure she knows her manager will not approve the refund and will put someone else in this room. The staff was not unfriendly and did her job upon check in.

      Faced from the airport but close to the bus stop and in a good location overlooking. On the end of downtown, the library is nearby and very calm. I stayed in a private room, but I arrived and first looked at the room, and I was not bad, so I had to stay for two nights. When I entered the private room, there were two PET bottles of 500 ml water and one snack on the desk, and there was no supermarket around the hostel, so I was very helpful. The walls had a large TV, and there were other toilets, shower rooms, soap, shampoo and dryer. The price when I stayed was about 13000 yen per night, and it was never cheap, but I was convinced to see the building of the room. The room was on the 1 floor, so it was good for me to have a lot of luggage. The coin laundry was underground. The staff was kind and the kitchen was clean and the atmosphere was good. However, there are many homeless people around, so it may be especially concerned.

Call the hotel in advance to report the name and number of people (not to mention the position of the first column), and the car will arrive in about ten minutes. Pay attention to the identification of the hotel body. There are more than one Hilton hotels near the airport. The hotel room is clean and neat. If you want to catch a flight or go to the airport car rental location the next day, you need to explain the departure time to the front desk when you check in. You must wait in the lobby on time to book the shuttle bus time.

      This was a quick stop over hotel for us and we had no expectations. We were presently surprised at how nice our stay was. There was no shuttle from the airport but they have taxi vouchers to pay for your cab. The pool was the highlight as it was a nice temperature and they have a huge slide! We had ana amazing dinner next door at the little Italy Garden (highly recommend). The room was clean and spacious. Che k in was quick. Breakfast was free and had a little of everything.

      As a mom of one of the group of 35 peace officer recruits that stayed with you guys I would like to say Thank-you. You guy had a lady who worked breakfast that went above and beyond for all the recruits. You weren’t just the breakfast lady but you were a mom to everyone when us mom’s couldn’t be there. You didn’t just do your job, you encouraged, you worried and genuinely cared. I only got to meet you briefly as I was headed to my daughters graduation but I thank you so much. I hope the managers realize its people like you that made that hotel a home for the time the group was there.

      One of the least satisfying hotels I've been to lately. We stood in the lobby for more than 5 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in (there was no bell or anything). The staff was very quiet and meek while checking us in. The room was decent - it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool wasn't very warm, and the hot tub was anything but. I couldn't even get warmed up. The towels had to be requested at the front desk, and it wasn't even open until 9 am, which makes getting a swim in before leaving difficult. The breakfast was ok, but being an airport hotel, it was very busy. Having only 2 waffle makers made for long waits. I think the pancake machine would be better suited for the location. Overall the hotel was pretty dingy, and I will be skipping over it when coming through Calgary.

      Did not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. You can see Calgary Tower when you go out. It takes about five or six minutes to walk.

      For the price of this hotel, I was very impressed, because I've stayed at 5-star hotels that don't come close to this hotel's cleanliness standards or service! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and whenever I'm back in Calgary this will be the place I return to, hands down :) It's not new but it's extremely clean, the staff are very courteous and efficient, and the location is great since it's just a few steps to various food options plus a LRT train that will take you through most of Calgary. Highly highly highly recommend and will be telling others that I know, if they ever plan to visit Calgary to stay at the Riviera! I understand why this hotel always seems to be 100% booked :)

      Because I had to fly to Montreal, I chose this hotel very close to the airport. I drove to the place where I returned the car in 5 minutes. There is parking lot, breakfast is average. Do not live in room 301, there is a cover in front of the window. Eating around, shopping is not convenient, you need to drive to the city center, recommend the Asian Xuan in the city, Chinese food is delicious, on the second floor of the mall.

      Show that you care! The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better. We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces. Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field. 1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it. 2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price. 3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time. Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.” We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge. You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity. Overall, not a good experience.

      More than 10 minutes drive from the airport, I immediately called the hotel shuttlebus when I got off the plane. After waiting for more than an hour, I still couldn't see the trace and finally I could only call the hotel to the hotel for 17 Canadian dollars. Call the hotel three times during the period, the answer is not waiting for a while they are going to check with the driver. When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I said that the driver had been waiting there. I firmly answered the impossible. I have never seen the car coming. Later, I said that the car had a problem and eventually compensated for a breakfast coupon. It’s ridiculous to let the guest wait an hour on such a cold day and lie. Although the hotel is new and the interior space is large, I will not book it again next time. The next day I booked the shuttlebus, but I was late, and I was disappointed.
