Stayed for a couple weeks. Check-in experience was great, I was met by a friendly and accommodating sort, Ibrahim. He greeted and asked me to wait and sit by one of the chairs at the lobby while the receptionist was busy with other guests. While waiting, I could see this gentleman takes good care of his guests. I requested for an early check-in, and Lorraine managed to get me a room at 11AM. The location of the hotel is very good, there are a lot of constructions around the area, but the bus stops just right in front of the hotel. It's very easy to find a taxi, yet for some reasons, most of the taxi drivers are not familiar with the hotel. Most of the time I had to explain further or showed them direction to the hotel instead of just telling them the hotel's name. Cleanliness, unfortunately my first night was greeted by two cockroaches. One by the coffee station and one by the bathroom. Although the room is being cleaned everyday, I could sometimes see them wander around the area. There were also very visible stains on the electric curtain. Aside from that, everything looked neat. Eric, the housekeeper, is another gem in this property with his friendly attitude and attentiveness. Food and beverages offers were quite varied. And props to the chefs for accommodating special requests including cooking dish that is not on the menu, which is something I wasn't expecting for a 4-stars hotel. Another thing I wasn't expecting was the water that comes with complimentary coffee and tea are limited to two small bottles per day. They charge you if you need more water, but not the coffee and tea, which I found hard to believe. This information was per Amil from the reception on my 10th nights of stay. He offered to talk to the management about this, which I obviously declined since I won't waste my time over a couple small bottles of water. He also suggested me to buy big bottles of water from outside instead. Overall stay was good. There are a couple more individuals that were very helpful, but unfortunately I didn't get their names. The male (Arabic?) waiter in the restaurant and the Nepalis bellboy.

So, when I go to Dubai I always choose cheap and not great areas as I will always be visiting friends or going out. So this cheap not so cheerful joint was my choice. The entrance to the hotel is on a small one way street. No parking or stopping. God forbid you want an Uber to find you. Check in was fine. Room was a complete disaster. First night. No toilet paper or towels larger than a flannel. Cars honking all night and hookers shouting. The bathroom has a weird stale smell. As does the hallway. Didn’t open the cupboard as I wasn’t interested unpacking. No kettle or otherwise. Fridge didn’t work. 5 tv channels 1 English 1 Russian not sure what the others were. Comfy bed. Bad plug sockets. Wallpaper peeling. Grimy mouldy shower with nasty curtain. Hairy bathroom floor. The room was cleaned twice. One day they stopped me on the way out and asked if I want the room cleaned. I said don’t bother. The pool upstairs is ok. All the beds are broken tho and nowhere to sit. The sauna/gym/bar are closed. Didn’t get an answer as to why and really wasn’t interested. No views at all. Very worn out and a let down as some deira hotels with low star rating are way better. The breakfast is 20dhs for 5 choices. Last nights potatoes and some form of bean. Not baked beans, an egg either omelette with peppers or boiled, uncooked tomatoes and cucumber and sliced bread in a packed with butter and jam. Tea and coffee and orange juice. Positively nasty. Only went for the coffee. Some of the staff were friendly and with no English spoken and some were pure lazy and arrogant. I don’t take that well and behaved just as badly. I checked out early and wasn’t even questioned as to why. They are probably used to it. Men’s sandals were in the bathroom for what reason I have no idea.

Hotel is good, check-in is fast, free parking, tipping on behalf of parking. The rooms are medium in size and clean. The twin beds booked are a bit small, maybe around 1.2. Breakfast was good, Western-style with Arabic flavor, Chinese stomach is not much to choose but fullness is no problem.

The two bedroom suite is not bigger than one bedroom suite. The hall is just used for making additional bedroom. The two bedroom suite also has only one common toilet. Too bad for a status of 4 star apartment hotel. The other hotels have two attached toilet inside the bedroom and one common toilet for the guests visiting us. There was some construction work going on in the upper floor and the noise of drilling was disturbing the afternoon nap. The hotel administration should have informed us earlier, if not seek our convenient time for this works, so we would not have returned back to hotel after lunch for a nap. The view of the creek and flights taking off and landing were good. The window is acoustic. The sound of the flights doesn't come inside the room. Good..

I have been to Dubai many times on Business visit. Last december was my first time with Family. Despite of being a frequent traveler i have booked a package deal from OYO Holidays India and they have provided this so called 3 star hotel in Deira. Its in the middle of no where.. No good restaurants near by except few Kerala ones. But those were good if you are a hard core non vegetarian. Very small room for my family which is including 2 kids. Poor bathroom and the day 1 itself water got blocked in the bathroom and also my daughter got locked in the room too. Very poor response in the front desk. Rooms very stingy and not well maintained. Poor buffet breakfast and arrogant staff too.. Since it was a holiday and i know that i have not paid much all these points can be tolerated .. ( what you can expect for a 60-70$ per night hotel.. ) But what was most disgusting for me was their multi lingual /cultural dance bars or pubs.. I was embarrassed to explain my kid what is these dance bars as it is right in the entrance.. I started avoiding to come to the lobby area between 7Pm and 9PM.. It was crowded with their dance bar customers and ladies.. Throughout the night there will be music.. may be up to 5AM.. So my fellow travelers who reads this, if you are ok with these you can proceed, else pay 10-20$ more and get to Bur Dubai side and enjoy your vacation..

A late booking but excellent find in the old(ish) city location, with a friendly in-house team. A recently redecorated room whilst basic was very clean and supplied with adequate facilities in the kitchenette. A very business and local residence area - plenty of small shops, not the Burj Khalifa glitz, but very human scale, just what was being looked for. Helpful and personable staff in the last stages of the UAE lockdown a very pleasant stay. It also needs a shout out to the day-to-day manager Jahid Hasan, excellent assistance during the stay.

I stayed in this hotel recently during my trip to Dubai for 5 days, thought the facilities will be good. But when i reached the hotel from starting itself things were not fine. Check in took too much time. Reception staffs are not pleasant and welcoming. I went to Dubai during the peak time, took deluxe here, thought it will be spacious and good looking. Given double the rate than normal tariff. But Room was small and not good. Booked for king size bed, but it was smaller than that, adjusted with my family. Small bathroom. not fully clean. glass cabin for bathing is very small. washbasin was block. The worst part was water is coming very less only. Not able to even wash our mouth properly. Another drawback was that they only give mineral water during the first day of stay as complementary. Next day onwards its chargeable. Giving double the rate and not even supplying a small bottle of drinking water costing just AED 1 looks pathetic. Another issue was with hot water. The issue was noticed in the evening. When complained they said maintenance team was not there in the evening. Will come only in the morning. The hotel is situated in the middle of a street with lots of small shops. All metro stations are far from hotel. Minimum 15mins walk. The only advantage was that if we want to buy something we will get that from the shops nearby. other than that nothing good to be mentioned here. Not even a good scenery, when we look out from our window. The hotel security Mr.Mohammed is an helpful guy, who helped us in getting taxi and shifting our luggage. No other staffs will show an helpful hand. Altogether our stay in Al Farej hotel was unpleasant. I will never stay in this hotel anymore. Loss of money.

The hotel is quite satisfactory, there are not many highlights, rich catering, three meals a day all inclusive, it is said that there is also a bar free of charge, the guest room is a bit simple, just white walls, not even the wallpaper, the equipment in the room can be saved and consumed There are no products. You also need to call for slippers. The quality of the soap is not complimented. The service is good and you are on call.

Its a total disaster. The variety of food is really not acceptable. Weve been served with a cold basket of pastry, omellete and some slice fruit. I think its ok atleast there is toast slice bread i can eat. What more can it be worse when i found out that ive been served with an expired butter. Not only one but all of it. The server apologize about it but thats it. The restaurant is totally empty and i cant see any good reason for that to happen. At midnight We order pizza at the room dining. Its just a bread top with cheese. "The telephone operator on duty at 2:00 am is very rude" please dont put the 805 number in your menu if the operator will just shout at your guest and tell us they are not the restaurant. We went up to the pool area just to find out that its closed, even the sauna and steam bath is not working no one inform us about it upon check in. Washroom next to the pool really need a lot of maintenance on it.

I highly don’t recommend this hotel, not clean at all ,bed bugs , services is very poor sometimes not available, you can’t use the shower (see the pic) , you can find old and dirty stuff next to your door. AC sometimes not working !!! If you look for the price only you better add some $ and book an other hotel you will save paying ointment after .

Business Bay
The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great, my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable! The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip! If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!

Stayed for 8 nights at the property after searching a lot for an accommodation within a reasonable budget. The rooms are nice and very well maintained, comfortable beds and pillows, basic amenities, water, tea, coffee, kettle, hair dryer, shampoo and iron & sewing kit upon request. Business bay metro station is 10 minute walk and the hotel is pretty close to Dubai mall. There's an Egyptian restaurant right around the corner that has good reviews but I haven't managed to try it and a 24/7 supermarket within a walking distance right near the metro station. Check in/out was very smooth. Very good Wifi in the rooms too. Breakfast is good and filling. Expect to wait a bit for a taxi but that was quite rare, normally taxis are right in front of the hotel but you can order online anyway. Given the rate, friendly service and location, I'd definitely stay here next time.

It’s an awesome stay. Realized on the last day that the sound from people dropping heavy metals on the floor of the gym was irritating. So the 13th floor under the gym is a no no next time. I’ll definitely stay there again. Close to the train and good buffet.

We were in Dubai for a week starting our month holiday celebrating our 55th Anniversary. Virus overnight blew up world. Thank goodness we were at the Jumeirah Twin Towers! We were only Americans in hotel with just a few other tourists. When it became apparent we could not continue our trip, the hotel reassured us that we had a room for as long as it took even with a discount. We were desperately getting our flight arranged without stopping in Europe. Reservations were changed several time and staff was so patient realizing our stress. Foot was excellent, service superb, hotel super clean and staff from managers to our sweet room attendant. Because of this generous service during a critical time for us, we will not forget. So we will return to Dubai and this time we will stay much longer. And of course, we will stay in Jumeirah Towers. We recommend this hotel to everyone because you learn quickly a business and staff when you really need them and they were there for us. Grateful! Thanks to all this wonderful staff.

Very enjoyable trip! The Rove Hotel is 3 subway stops away from the airport's T3 terminal. You can see it from Exit 4 of the deira city center station, and walk 200 meters. The hotel environment is simple and clean. 3-400 meters to the south of the hotel is the deira city center shopping center, where there is a Carrefour supermarket in addition to shopping and dining. About 500 meters to the west of the hotel is the Wenzhou Supermarket, the largest local Chinese supermarket chain in Dubai. The dining area is on the first floor. There is everything you need to do with noodles, rice, skewers, skewers, and barbecue. We strongly recommend kebabs, 9.99 dirhams per skewers (tax not included) , A big skewer, grilled very well! There is no need to consider eating hotel meals when staying at the Rover Hotel. There are plenty of choices for eating in the nearby shopping mall and Wen Chao. Since the subway station is nearby, it is very convenient to go to Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Gold Souk and other places where you need to check in. I haven't taken a taxi in Dubai for 16 days, and all the subways are fixed. After getting off the plane, buy a subway silver card at the T3 terminal station and recharge it. If there is still left when you leave Dubai, you can go to the subway counter to refund the money. The hospital is 200 meters from the entrance of the hotel. Nucleic acid testing is also super convenient, and reports can be issued within 24 hours. There is an open-air swimming pool on the M floor of the hotel (from 8 am to 8 pm) and a 24-hour gym. It's okay to relax and exercise in the hotel as well. All in all, Rove Hotel is cost-effective and very convenient. Very pleasant staying experience!
