This is very beautiful small place. Actually this is hideout. Quiet and peaceful environment. So much relaxing place. Staff was so friendly. I paid here 5800 rupee. Value for money and budget hotel compared to other hotels. If you are coming from airport, this is one of the nice place to stay. The most beautiful feeling I had is river and birds sound in the morning at 6. There is Maoya near this place. There is a coconut garden then you can see river. You can swim in river. But be careful in rainy season. You have to travel Mirigama alawwa road to reach this place. If you are traveling by train you can go down from Mirigama or Ambeypussa railway station and you can get taxi from there for about 400- 500 rupee. Parking space available. Foods were so tasty and hygienic. Rooms were clean.

This is a calm place outside of the hectic polluted city and great as a first stop when visiting Sri Lanka! Thushara and his family are awesome hosts and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and lovely as possible. We stayed two nights after arriving by plane in the middle of the night and they waited to pick us up at the airport even though we arrived an hour late. They are very reliable, all of them speak english well and the food is delicious. Ask them about recipes and maybe they will invite you for a original sri lankan cooking lesson!

The environment is much better than in Kandy. Going through a bumpy road. It's very gray. Sometimes it's blocked. The hotel was nice to check in early when we checked in that day. As the brother of the Tutu bus in Colombo was too enthusiastic to help us buy a seven-point train ticket, the next morning at breakfast, Ms. Checkin came over to say one of the reservations. To make up the difference. I think the hotel in Sri Lanka is curious that the price for one and two people is different. Later, the difference was more expensive than Ctrip. I still feel uncomfortable. She did n’t say when she checked in. Breakfast was okay. I ’m not quite used to the buffet here. The fried egg brother opened my stack of fried eggs by hand. The fruits are all papaya and watermelon. They are not very rich. The floor-to-ceiling window of the restaurant was not like that when I booked. There are three glass pieces in the middle. Bedding was more comfortable. Kandy was dirty and messy overall. I did n’t think I would come back, and the room had a balcony.

Due to the railway strike, we had to give up the tickets we had already purchased and changed to rent a car to Kandy. Although the road is hard, there are also many scenery to be swept. The three-day trip to Kandy is not so much a look at the scenery of the temple and the lake. It is better to say that this hotel is even more pleasant. Booking the hotel, because of the unique tapestry pattern in the hall, arrived at the hotel, first attracted by the river in front of you, the blue sky. The hotel has a sweet and cold drink at the store. When you look at the river, you don’t feel that the procedure is slow. Prayer in the mountains, candlelight and singing at night, a beautiful local wedding, beautiful sunset glow, blue waves from the pool outside the cafe, blending with the hotel's gracious dining and attentive service, a movement or a look, the waiter can Understand your mind. The place to stay, the first floor is slightly damp, but there is a garden where you can push the door, people who like plants, you can also browse the hotel's garden, there are many kinds of plants, all are tropical wonders. We changed to the top of the building. I didn't expect a few rains in the house when the rain was heavy. We were very touched when the staff watched the rain. The little episode did not ruin the mood. Watching a piece of golden bamboo outside can be a good memory. Those who love dessert, food and photography will be satisfied.

In the mountains, it is not very convenient to travel if you do not rent a car. The environment is general, the room is relatively small, and the food is not enough to eat. It is called to give the extra bed quilt three times and finally has no resistance. In the aisle, a cleaning is done to solve the problem. Next to the restaurant, order a cup of yogurt (not on the wine list), a spoonful of yogurt with sugar and water dare to receive 25

Freedom of Sri Lanka from December 29th to January 7th, it's very beautiful: if you don't choose this hotel (one night on December 31st), it will be close to perfection! An unpleasant experience: holding the confirmation (paid), but the front desk said that the price was adjusted, and the order was invalid. why? Answer: The problem with travel agencies in your country! Hotels and travel agencies negotiate endlessly ... ………… Direct loss nearly 3 hours, no choice but to compromise, pay cash to check in …… You have to pay $ 165 Alright alright. Wrong, why is there no dinner? (My original order was with breakfast and dinner) Bringing dinner costs $ 285! Exactly $ 285! Obediently, did you downgrade without permission? Expensive, it must be the same as my original order! !! !! (It turns out that the dinner was too bad: buffet style, no decent main course, breakfast level, additional drinks: $ 50 weak) Before I checked in, I stored my luggage, and the luggage number was marked with the room number ... After 3 hours of peeling, the manager-level person said: I apologize for the unpleasant experience you have, we give you Upgraded the room for free! Room 302. Yes, Room 302, it was indicated on the luggage list 3 hours ago! !! !! ? ? ? Naked, my IQ has been seriously underestimated: from 652 yuan (original price) to the final payment of 1995 yuan, thanks to the hotel free upgrade room? ... of course the final difference Ctrip has been refunded After numerous confirmations afterwards, Ctrip called the hotel on December 28 to agree to the price adjustment (Dec 31?) By the way: I booked on December 10th, 652 yuan / room • night By the way: Sri Lanka ’s per capita daily consumption is less than $ 1 By the way: except for sleeping time, 1/3 of the time is pulling the skin at the hotel front desk

Breakfast is quite rich, 88 points. Can't you add an extra bed? Suitable for children. The hotel is located on the top of the mountain, and you can see half of the city of Kandy. The scenery is elegant, the flowers and birds are scented, and the monkeys are jumping and jumping. There is parking. Hotel service is the best hotel I feel in Sri Lanka.

It is indeed a hotel with a very long history, a beautiful restaurant with a garden pool, a European style, a huge wooden room door, and a very high room rack, which shows the former glory. but! !! !! Definitely not recommended! Very poor sound insulation! very bad! very bad! Our room was arranged on the second floor, next to the restaurant. First, the lobby bar played and sang until 10:30 in the evening. At the end, we thought we could fall asleep. Around 12 o'clock, a bunch of Europeans who had drunk drinks continued chatting in the lobby bar and laughed loudly. To half past one! No one manages, almost no sound insulation! Finally they returned to the room to rest, the bulky wooden door was closed without any buffer, like firing! Noisy all night without sleep, collapse! Never stay here!

The hotel enjoys a great location, on the mountain, on the cliff side, watching the sunset and the night sky is very beautiful. We booked a penthouse suite, which is very large. One large bed with two small beds is very friendly to the second-born family. There is a swing. The children like it very much. After dark, mosquitoes are in the lobby, but there is no mosquito in the room, indicating that the mosquito prevention work is still good. The rooms are decorated with Sri Lankan local characteristics. For dinner, the two nights are different, but they are all special Sri Lankan diets. The first night is a combination of white rice and several dishes, including chicken curry, onion salad, and some local Sri Lankan specialties. The second night is fried rice with the whole Fried eggs, although the juice and water have to be charged separately, but the price is not expensive, the breakfast is made fresh, and their bread is the most fragrant I have eaten in Sri Lanka. The juice coffee is also good. On the first day, the water flowing in the sink was very mommy. Later, I went out to play and came back the next day. I found that the water had passed through and the water was very small. No water, can also understand, after all, in the mountains so high, the next to go, still consider to stay, yes, it must be a car with a driver only convenient, otherwise a little bit far.

The hotel is on the hill and the car is not good. The balcony is very nice. The facilities are quite new, hot water is enough, but not very stable. There is a kettle in the room. It takes twenty minutes to walk to the city center and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The sausage for breakfast is delicious.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the service was truly excellent. We arrived early, but were still able to check in. We were greeted with cold refreshing coconut drinks and snacks, and the most helpful, lovely staff. Our room was beautiful, very stylish, with a small balcony, lovely bathroom (great toiletries!) and extremely comfortable bed. Perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, such a varied choice of food, with good coffee! We are vegan but there was plenty for us to eat. Day 2 we had freshly prepared hoppers filled with lentil dahl - so yummy! Location is ideal, very close to the lake and not far from the train station. We bumped into a gentleman who works at the hotel when we were out exploring (he was off-duty at the time but recognized us from when we checked in) and he was SUPER helpful, walking with us for a while, pointing out some interesting places to go, and he even helped us buy tickets for a traditional dance show. We were only in Kandy for 2 nights, but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located on the top of the mountain, the environment is very good, the hotel facilities need to be improved, the door locks are not easy to use, and the sink facilities are defective. Breakfast is especially good. The hotel’s garden and tea garden are particularly good. Hotel service is super good, the legacy of things, the hotel brother is always sent automatically. Touched a nose and a tear

I found myself lucky to have come to Kandy View Hotel before the outbreak of COVID-19 and the following curfew and travel restriction period. I stayed in the hotel for more than three months, from Mid March to beginning of July 2020. Together with a few other travelers, I have been waiting for the travel situation to get better. In the beginning of this unpredictable time, the owner had been so kind as to open the restaurant kitchen for us, giving us access to kitchen utensils, the fridge and a cooking place. Even during the difficult initial curfew periods, when food trucks and deliveries hadn't been established and well organized, the owner cared for us by cooking and giving out free meals. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for the consideration and help we received throughout all this time. About the hotel: it's peacefully situated on a little hill, surrounded by trees and nature, providing a fascinating view over the city from the open restaurant top. I have been more than happy to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets there. It's walkable distance from city centre. The rooms are well-furnished and clean, the staff and owner are attentive and considerate, making sure all needs are met. It has been a real pleasure to have been able to spend this time in such a great environment. The atmosphere and attentiveness I experienced on a human-to-human level and the calm with which challenging situations were met, were really inspiring. I also want to mention the general good support system for tourists and foreigners I encountered in Sri Lanka. I will miss this home away from home.

Not too far from Kandy Lake, quite easy to find. It is a whole villa, and the environment of lobby and other public areas is good. The economy room is on the first floor, facing the gate, slightly narrow and a little damp. Usually there are two butlers taking care of the villa, and a female manager, sometimes come over. Breakfast was generous, English breakfast with bread, sausage, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee or tea.

We only stayed one night here after getting a taxi from Habarana. We were then getting the train the next day to Nuwara Eliya so wanted a hotel close to the station. This was ideally placed. Kandy is a busy city and the hotel is on the main road however the room was quiet. It was quite small but perhaps to be expected for a city hotel. It had everything we needed for a quick stopover. We walked to both the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake. Breakfast was good, good choice and the restaurant has a view over Kandy. Excellent service. The staff also went to the trouble of getting us a cheaper tuk-tuk through the app which was very helpful.

We a group of 23 checked in to this property from 02.03.20 to 03.03.20 and being a group our check in was quite smooth and it hardly took 10 minutes to get in the room. Inside the room the furniture provided were quite sufficient and well goes with the decor of the room. A well maintained wash room with all the basic wash room amenities and the linens and towels were perfectly clean. Well I just need to mention that on the day we checked in was a Monday and some of our group members insisted for Jain Food and the Hotel did provide us with an array of Jain Food which we will never forget. The Dinner as well as the morning breakfast was quite superb with a good spread. We as a group will never forget the best fo the assistance provided by The Hotel F&B Supervisor Mr. Shautha who made our stay memorable. Would love to recommend the property.
