The hotel owner is very considerate, and puts drinks and bread in the refrigerator, all for free. Seeing that we took the kids and brought us two large inflatable swimming laps. One day it rained all day, and I really didn’t want to eat outside. The lady boss even drove us to the market. We were all embarrassed that day, it was raining and we went to several places to buy it. The hotel here helps to rent motorcycles and cars at a discount. The environment here is very good, about 5 minutes walk to the beach, 7-11 is also close. The only point is that there is a small slope when entering the hotel from the road. If you have limited mobility, you should consider this. The elderly in my family are in good health, even if they are more than 80 years old, no problem. Also, we stayed for the first night. I didn’t know it was raining at night. We all slept soundly. The hotel staff also helped to collect the clothes. I was so touched😹. Write so many comments for the first time!

Morning Thai breakfast was tastefully prepared and a great way to fuel the day. It was nice to stay at a place removed a bit from the bustle of town and the 200 baht daily rental of a moped which they offer puts the whole island within easy reach. We also enjoyed morning walks along nearby quiet roads and he took us for a small tour of his adjoining farm to share info about rubber production, his love of birds, etc. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We were even pampered with honey and lime to make tea to help get over our colds. They were also great in arranging discounted snorkeling trips and a trip to the airport. Highly recommended!

The owners and staff were very attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were clean. Travellers can rent mopeds by the day at a good rate, and the resort is located halfway up the beach so there is lots to explore. Would definitely stay here again, we loved it. Excellent value for money.

|0.55km from city centerFacilities: I was lucky to find this property at such a fabulous price, because it's just opened. everything is brand new, modern, immaculate, comfortable. Bed is a bit hard for me, but sheets , pillows and towels lovely and soft. Fridge and sofa in rooms. TV was great a Smart TV with you tube button making it easy to entertain the kids. Bathroom was lovely, very modern and stylish fabulous shower and huge bathtub in every room (as far as I know) Air con is great, brand new systems so no issues at all. Internet access in each room. Pool is freshly cleaned each morning, great pool & sea view from ALL of the balconies. There's inflatables beside the pool for the kids (or adults) to use free which was really handy as we are a family with a teen and a toddler. its peaceful here. Staff: Really friendly and helpful, cleaning was thorough. Food: Breakfast wasn't to our taste, but the lovely lady tried something new every morning for us to make us happy. we didn't try anything else but I think there is a small selection of snacks available but no pool bar or menu etc at the minute. Location There's a 7/11 and many eateries close by. just a 2 minute walk brings you to the main street with bars, restaurants shops etc. lots of access to tuk tuks and bike hire down the street. After travelling the island I think Im exactly in the location I would want to be in. we hired a tuk tu and drove down to the koala bar etc on long beach. We actually extended our stay here, and they were booked out in one of our rooms. The staff didn't want to let us down so they prepared a room for us that they were still refurbishing. it was a family suite but we only used 1 room. They will be gorgeous when they are ready properly. The bath actually overlooked the pool and sea view with a huge window that opens. There was a 2000 BHT deposit to pay for each room on arrival which we didn't expect so something to remember.

All staff we met very welcoming and friendly.Beach is just across the road. There are quite a few nice beaches along the stretch of road. We found a few gorgeous ones. We walked everywhere as that’s what we like to do. Found some great places to eat in both directions from the hotel. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we like to try and spend our money in all the local eateries. That way we help more local businesses.We only had one bad meal but we were just unlucky there I guess.. We did have a run in with monkeys up the road which was pretty scary. I don’t scare easily. We were just walking up a lane from a beach. Babies sat on the trees. Then boom all the adults came running at us.Just beware!!

The Thai Smile Bungalows are in a perfect location as a base to tour the island and its attractions. Dave rents mopeds at very reasonable rates with the added benefit they’re new and in perfect condition unlike many rental companies near by. Let’s talk about the food…. Unbelievable is all I can say! Lek best Thai food I have ever eaten and your breakfast omelettes will take some beating. Dave thank you so much! I’ll be back next year for sure! Miss the place already.

This year we booked Green Chilli Bungalows. The reviews and the price just convinced us and we were totally impressed and happy with our choice. Nice area with lots of palmtrees and birds, good bungalows, directly at the beach, good food, good cocktails, very friendly owner and staff was ok aswell. Our Bungalow was always clean, we booked one with Fan and it was totally enough for us. Big bathroom and spacious. We would book it again and we can recommend it to everybody.

The local food was very good, even self-made wurstl and liverka were served. The traditional Thai food was also particularly excellent. A more debtor at the invitation bar was almost one to have to be served. Also football enthusiasms come here at their expense. My special thanks is to Penny the heartpiece of the facility. Denny at the bar. Of course, also to the owner Robert, who is very engaged in the interests of his guests. Come back.

|2.54km from city centerReally nice good sized bungalows that takes up to three persons. The beds are good and the pillows are not too hard. Nice pool area with sun beds facing the ocean and next to the restaurant and bar. There is another pool area in the back as well, but we haven’t been there. There are a lot of rocks in the ocean just in front of the hotel. This makes it impossible to swim at low tide but at high tide it’s ok and on the positive note the rocks provide hideouts for small fish so there’s a lot to see with snorkel and mask. The restaurant serves nice food both local and international and the waiters are sweet and helpful. The Liberty 420 bar does all sorts of cocktails and beers and the bartender is great. And now the negatives: They have this really weird system for getting your room cleaned. They only do it every other day and you have to leave your key at a basket in the reception to indicate you want it done. The reception doesn’t open until 8 am so if you’re going on an early trip it’s not possible to leave your key. Personally I don’t care about having my sheets and towels changed every other day but I certainly care about having my toilet basket emptied EVERY day. We’re here now on day four and I had to change it myself yesterday since no one’s been inside our room besides ourselves since we checked in.

|0.82km from city centerFirstly I need to mention the wonderful staff in reception and breakfast as they were friendly and helpful during our visit. We stayed in the large building and had a room with 2 large beds, shower and a shared balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel grounds are pretty, the pool is a decent size and very clean and it is only a short walk to long beach. There are also bungalows available on the property. The hotel offers a good laundry service which is inexpensive and they also organise travel for you. The breakfast was made to order and there were several choices including cereals, eggs fried, omelettes, pancakes, toast and fruit. I have read the other reviews so it may be that we were unlucky with our room as the first day we found the shower tiles to be dirty with brown marks which I cleaned myself and the bed was not made properly. The air conditioner did not perform well and as soon as you left the room it went off as you only have one key. The toilet did not flush well and the shower head would not stay on the wall but the water was warm enough. The maids clean and provide towels every two days but this was not a problem as they left water and toilet rolls outside the door. There was only one shampoo sachet and a very small soap provided but there are nearby minimarts to buy shower gels etc..The pool area had about 16 beds and 3 bean bags which was not sufficient at times because the hotel was full. The pool is also shared with the Tamarind Hotel behind. The picture of the pool area shows sunshade umbrellas but there were none at all so from midday you were in full sun. However the price we paid was good for what we received and we did enjoy our stay apart from the small issues mentioned.

The resort is right at the southern end of long beach, close enough to bars and restaurants. Yet far enough from the road and other establishments to hear any noise. In fact, I did not her any late night loud music or noise. The owner Kim is the perfect host, and I only wish it were true that everyone in the hotel / resort business can offer such warm, welcoming hospitality to its guests. I have been coming to Koh Lanta since 2014. I would have no hesitation staying here again and recommending.

- Staff are very nice and friendly.
- Really listen to feedback - last time I had suggested water dispensers to save on plastic, when we returned for this trip (only 2 weeks later) there was now one on each floor! This was amazing to see and I'm so glad the hotel is taking steps to be more eco friendly, so thank you!
- The room was much bigger than it looks, and has a large desk with a chair.
- Strong, reliable WiFi.
- Very clean.
- On our previous trip, we were able to check in early at no extra cost which we really appreciated :)
- Room includes a fridge.
- Very close to a 7-eleven and a few restaurants, although we didn't go to that particular stretch of beach it is also close to a beach, located in a more quiet area in the centre of the island making it easy to visit the north and south (but, the location does require you to have a motorbike to get around!).
- Good, strong air con.
- Value for money is very good.
The only negative during our stay was that at one point my boyfriend's shoes were nowhere to be found in the lobby, (as per Thai culture, you must leave them outside before entering the guest house), and it turned out another guest / neighbour had 'borrowed' them. Luckily they had only gone to the shop and so we weren't without the shoes for long, but it still wasn't ideal... Not the fault of the owner, but perhaps a sign requesting people to not do this? Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back if we visit Koh Lanta again!

The cottages are small ish but very clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for me when I travel. A lovely little veranda outside (with electric plugs) , and on some days I put the fan there and did some work on my laptop. The beach is 5 minute walk with a few restaurants and cafés along the way. The owner and his friend Suzan are really laid back and helpful. We booked our trips, scooters and laundry service there and prices were better than at any of the nearby agencies. No breakfast facilities but there are multiple breakfast places 2 min away. It's not a 5 star resort but we had everything we needed: a comfortable, clean place by probably the best swimming beach in Lanta.

Environment: very good. It is divided into two parts, the upper part and the lower part. There is a sea view on the mountain, and a room directly connected to the swimming pool at the bottom. It is recommended to live on the mountain, but it is a bit troublesome to take a shuttle bus

The breakfast was delicious in the morning, with fresh ground and brewed coffee. The beach was fabulous and only a short 20 minute walk along the sand from other restaurants and bars. The pool was lovely and clean, rooms were clean, beds were firm, but they could add more comfort if you needed. The resort rented us scooters and that was the most fun we had all trip. Also much more secure and legit this way! Very safe and quiet area. Nice and close to all you need.

|1.66km from city centerI can even put into words how amazing our stay was with all the staff at Baan Suan Rim Klong Resort they made us feel so welcome and made everything so easy , anything we needed they helped with from extra towels to recommendations, the Hotel has a taxi service which is free to most the local beaches and 7/11 , and was fairly priced for locations further up the island this was absolutely amazing given some people in our group weren’t comfortable with riding a moped /scooter , Orange was our driver for most the trips and he was so lovely and kind , We also had Ma Jinda who was the best host ever , she gave us her what’s app for whenever we needed anything from collection from one of the beautiful beaches to some extra bits for the room. The resort is located well within walking distance of a few of the locals beaches , their in-house restaurant was amazing quality and was super cheap aswell. Thank you for having us 🥰🥰

Чистота номеров, спокойствие, такого мы не видели больше н где. Хотя мы не в первый раз на Ланте и жили во многих отелях. Пандемия ковида сильно подкосила турбизнес Ко Ланты. Этот отель выжил. Это семейный бизнес с великолепным хозяинои и отличной командой. Так же у них свой ресторанчик. Цены не самые низкие, но очень вкусно и душевно: соседние стоят пустые, а здесь всё заполнено. В отеле 8 немеров: по 4 с кухней и 4 без неё. Однозначно рекомендую. И, если будет такая возможность, мы сюда вернёмся.

Those who are satisfied with a beautiful beach, warm sea, nice operators and good food in the vicinity should come here. If you need or are looking for luxury, you should go a few plants further. If you need action and partying on holiday, it is better to go to Puket, for example.

The rooms are very large, you have to wait a bit for hot water, but I assume that in Ko Lancia they don't know the water circulation system 🙈 The hotel is worth recommending, definitely a plus, as a starting point for various trips around Ko Lanta and the surrounding islands. Ko Lanta itself, I am delighted with the climate, views, cuisine, and very nice Thai people. From trips I recommend snorkeling or diving to Ko Ha, Ko Bida, Phi Phi. Super kayak trip in the Andaman sea and mangrove forests. A visit to the elephant sanctuary is also interesting. Trips bought at local offices, much cheaper than from Itaka's office. Thailand is amazing, I will definitely come back to it.

Lots of variety for either western or Thai food and very tasty. The staff at the resort are top-notch. Derek the manager and his team are committed to you enjoying your stay at the resort. Lots of families at the resort but also a great location for couples wanting to experience a wonderful resort on a beautiful beach in Koh Lanta. Highly recommend “Fabulous location on the beach! ” Fabulous hotel overall. Fantastic location next to the beach, and there was so many pools to use. We had a room with pool access and it was fantastic. The only thing, I wish the fitness room would’ve been slightly bigger but it was still good. Would definitely stay here again! All the staff at reception were lovely and made sure to always help when it was needed! Definitely recommend.

The beach is 40 minutes away from the room. The restaurant is also facing the sea. The breakfast is rich in variety , Watching the sea while eating delicious food is so healing! Sindee, the hotel housekeeper, is a Chinese who has worked in Thailand for many years. He is warm and kind, which makes us feel very safe. The other hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. Our flight time is just in line with the hotel pick-up time, and the pick-up girls have hotels The nanny car picked us up, and the general manager came out to see us off before we left. Next time I have a chance to visit Koh Lanta, I would like to continue to live here. The price/performance ratio is very high!
