Location: excellent. Just a relatively short walk to the train stations nearby. Amenities and conveniences all around. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. They are always available to you and ready to answer questions via the Cityhub app. (Psst. you can alter the colors of your Hub lights) Great and speedy Wi-Fi connection. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. You can leave your luggage at the lockers after checking out. Convenient! Lounge area is a great spot to hang out. There are drink vending machines, beer on tap and self-serve coffee machines available. You pay for them when checking-out and it’s affordable. I am a smaller person so the hub space and bed size was more than adequate. Bed was super comfy. They space guests out so you don’t have to worry much about noise and not getting a good night’s rest. There are charging and a couple of USB ports next to the bed plus a Bluetooth speaker for you to play some tunes. You’re also provided with fluffy towels and bathrobe. Communal kitchen - Basic amenities like microwave and kettle. Fridge: You can prep your food and store your leftovers in the plastic containers provided. You’ll just label them with your room number and date of check-out. Do bring flip flops for the showers, or you can buy basic toiletries from the vending machines. The spacious communal toilet area has shower and toilet stalls for privacy. Everything has been clean, private and most importantly, safe. Overall a fantastic experience!

Great location, very clean and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the shower gel in the bathroom was not refilled before I checked in. The team was helpful and the cleaner refilled as requested the next morning. However, the door to my room was left open after that which I noticed when I came back late in the evening. Luckily, everything was still there - so it appeared as if no one had entered the room. Still, this is something that should not happen and I am disappointed with the level of service here.

The hotel breakfast is really amazing. There are actually herring steaks, soaked in garlic sauce, the taste is absolutely amazing. Yogurt with a variety of raspberries, accompanied by eating, tastes pure, without any processed taste, it is really pure large fruit without adding. The bread is also delicious, sandwich jam bread baked by yourself. There is a lake behind the hotel, you can go for nothing, Nordic style, and contact with nature. The only disadvantage is that it is a little far from the Central Station, but if the luggage is not very large, walking is acceptable, about 800 meters. Easy shopping around. Personally, in order to taste breakfast, I can go to live once.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! I have only taken a look at the reviews after I checked out (I will update regarding the deposit if I find any issue with it) HOWEVER the reviews are I feel a little unjust, I can only assume most of you who are leaving 1* reviews have either never been to Copenhagen, have no idea how expensive Denmark/Scandinavia actually is or completely deluded about what to expect for the price, maybe all of the above! The hotel is cheap by Copenhagen prices and to some extent it does show within the room, HOWEVER (we stayed in room 201) the bed was suitable for the 2 nights we were there, the shower worked wonderfully, the room was clean, smelt fine, the bed was clean & made when we arrived, & additional clean towels were left in our room the day after we checked in. You cannot expect 5* rooms for a 2* budget! Yes there is no lift, (definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues), yes the floor is slightly off (after a few beers you won’t even notice that) & the there is no safe in the room but the staff were very friendly, the room justified the ‘cheaper’ price tag (again it advertises itself as a budget hotel!) The location is less than a 3 minute walk from Central Station & Tivoli Gardens & within walking distance of plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants. If you want to do Copenhagen ‘cheap’ (there is really no such thing in Denmark) You can’t go wrong with this hotel!

Hotel in excellent location, close to station and all types of public transport. Felt modern and energetic. Beautiful spaces, great room at a good price. Clean and no noise pollution. We had quite a labyrinth to get to the room. Breakfast good and extensive. The downside was the loud music all day long in the public areas, which could be turned down or turned off. Because it certainly wasn't my taste in music.

Really nice new hotel. Kudos for the bedding, often in Denmark the bed is made like you are at a hostel, but here it is really nice. The room is small, but sufficient l, and the bathroom is nice with an enclosed walk in shower. Huge tv and floor to roof windows makes it a pleasant room to stay at. It is simple and I don’t think I would recommend a longer stay, but for that the Residence inn is right next door. Nordhavn is a new area, but with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes. I can recommend Husted wine bar. Free nice breakfast is a plus.

The standard double room booked is upgraded to a comfortable double room for free, the room is large and the sanitary conditions are good Maybe because the room is in the top corner, the wifi signal is not very good. After reporting to the waiter, I have been actively solving and asking for feedback, and are willing to change the room for us. Although they have tried hard, the signal is still not good, but they can accept it. , Praise their service attitude. Breakfast is delivered to the door of the room, and a newspaper is also provided, which is very considerate, and the breakfast will change a little every day. The hotel is very close to the central station and travel is very convenient.

This hotel is highly recommended. Whether it is from the location of the hotel, quality of service, infrastructure, it is perfect! My mom heard that Ctrip can write reviews, so let me write a good comment. The breakfast is quite rich and picturesque. The room is large, there are a lot of compartments, and the hotel is also quite thoughtful. Only you can't think of it, without them being prepared, I think I should be able to satisfy all kinds of discerning guests. In the winter, you can also have a fireplace. It’s really burning wood. My mom's favorite is the garden next to the hotel. It is free to enter the hotel. It is really super beautiful, all kinds of flowers, various amusement facilities, various restaurants, my mom has to go shopping every night. The hotel is in the center of the city, the traffic is very convenient, just buy something to walk, no need to take a taxi, what brand can be found around it. Maybe its appearance is not so conspicuous, but walking into the hotel will really shock you. I am also a very picky person, this hotel really makes me quite satisfied, strong Amway, very worthy of its price, do not hesitate.

The hotel is a little outside of the center, but is well reached by the metro or even by the bus. The room was relatively small. But you know that already at the booking. It made us feel like a youth hostel rather than a hotel. There is also a need to dress the beds themselves. These are very comfortable. But breakfast was very generous for this hotel category. The rooms were very clean in the morning. The more guests had used them, the more they had needed cleaning again. It's already bad, you don't leave the rooms as you wish to meet them. Washing the washing venue shortly after use if you have polluted it wouldn't be a big thing ... We're very late. This was agreed with the hotel and the room keys were deposited. To reach them, we could choose a certain telephone number, where then we were explained how to reach the key cards. Unfortunately, they still worked to get into the staircase, but not for our room. We had to call again and wait for a staffer to reprogramme the cards at half two in the morning. That was not very pleasant for him and us. It would be better if the room cards were tested before depositing for such cases. As a compensation we have offered breakfast for it. However, of course, we are very happy!

We stayed here for a short break in January. Firstly the location of the apartments is pretty good, the nearest supermarket is only a couple of minutes walk (Netto) from the apartment and the city centre and main high street are also pretty close so no need for taxi's which are very expensive!. It was very clean and modern and there were nice little touches like coffee pods and some condiments included. There were a couple of issues with the apartment, firstly there is no wardrobe. There is a small coat rack but that is not really suitable if you were staying for more than a weekend but an iron and ironing board are also provided. Secondly it was cold and only 1 side of the radiator in the apartment worked so that was far from ideal when it was literally freezing outside. The bed is quite low and very soft so was not overly comfortable for backs and the pillow situation needs sorting as they are more like cushions than pillows! The furniture in the studio apartment is low spec and a bit uncomfortable so don't expect anything great but they were functional. They need to consider regular blinds for this property. There is a black out blind but if you want to see daylight in daylight hours the room faces an office building so we were not able to open the blinds and had to have the blind down so could not see natural daylight and the thin curtains they had up were too small for the window so were completely useless!!! We did email the owners a couple of times with questions but no one came back to us which was disappointing.....

I loved the hotel! I chose it because I wanted to have a nice view of the sea, but everywhere around was under construction 🤣. Isn't next to the center but is easy to go everywhere from there, the only thing missing is restaurants near, the selection at the hotel is quite limited for dinner. The breakfast is actually good and loved the space in the room with the heated floor in the bathroom. Everything is nice and comfortable and the staff is really nice and helpful. I would love to stay there again, once all the construction around is done 😆😁

We stayed in the Copenhagen Marriott the night before our cruise holiday, then booked the Square for one night post our cruise holiday to be closer to central station. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30am on 5th June, asked if could store our luggages as we knew the check in time was 3pm. The lady at reception checked the system, offered an upgrade to a better room that was available for a reasonable fee, so we took the offer. The room size was no comparison to Marriott, so was the view but with nearly £100 cheaper in price, Metro station across road, everything we needed, we were not complaining. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, with mini fridge, snacks and drinks, steam iron, safe, foldable luggage rack, charging station provided. Bathroom was modern with everything we needed and more (hand cream, shoe care and vanity kit). The breakfast was tasty with good selection, we liked IPad operated juices and coffee station, all the modern styled serving dishes. We plan to visit Copenhagen again, will definitely stay in the Square hotel instead of Marriott as we believe it’s great value for the money.

Room - We had a Design Deluxe Double room on the fourth floor which was large with a balcony and beautifully designed. For the price we paid, sadly the bathroom was a disappointment. The shower had no power so I spent treble my usual time in there just trying to rinse out my shampoo. I understand it’s for eco reasons but when it’s inevitably going to increase shower time there should be a middle ground. It was also designed awkwardly and the shower (was over a bath) didn’t stick out enough to be over you’re entire body. Also the strange toilet panel that looked like one of those Japanese loos didn’t work. Location - On one hand it was great and we never seemed to be more than 20 mins walk from the hotel. Perfect for an afternoon siesta BUT… the traffic! The first two nights were fine but on Thursday night the sirens and voices woke me up several times. I can only imagine how loud it is on lower floors. Staff were friendly although no one told us what happy hour was. Luckily I had done my research! Handing back the key every time was alright - a bit of a faff when you still have to have a card. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on that but I recommend Venner (6 mins walk away) and Espresso House (similar to Starbucks) are dotted about. I would choose it over next door’s Citizen M as I wanted space in the room but I’m not sure I would recommend Hotel Alexandra due to the noise. That said, it’s a beautiful hotel, good staff and nearly everything is walkable.

Scandic Copenhagen is certainly at the top of the quality you can expect from a hotel. If you are looking for details/nice-to-have: The reception could have been a little more engaged when we had questions. Minibar/fridge in the room would be nice. Poor options for connecting your own media to the TV. Missed the standard fried egg at breakfast. This is details which a lot of hotels don't have, so we didn't expect it. Cleaning must be ordered at reception, which I think is a nice solution - but I would prefered a more digital solution. If we had stayed longer, I would be nice to ”order” towels or laundry/pick up in the hallway.

less than a 10 minute walk from the Kongens Nytorv metro station {direct from the airport 36dkr). Check in smooth, lady on reception, excellent, friendly and informative. Room was ready, not much of a view but was comfortable, bed was excellent, shower was powerful and refreshing (watch out for flooding the bathroom floor) TV, kettle, water. Breakfast, wow. The best scrambled eggs ever.. you could have boiled or an omelette, apart from the excellent cooked food, there was a cold table, salmon, vegetables, yoghurt, fruit. freshly cooked bread and pastries. Location, I think everyone will say it is in the best location for everything, it is. 20 minute walk to Tivoli gardens or the botaniclal gardens and butterfly park. Be warned it will take longer as there are many distractions on the way. Nyhavn is just around the corner (5 minutes) with plenty of bars and restaraunts and starting points for canal cruise and hop off bus. 20 minutes to Christiania (well worth a vist). would i stay again? yep, no problem. Having tootled across Denmark for 10 days, I became something of an expert at navigating best value hotels... this one wins hands down. Like, by a country mile! Despite being in a kinda scuzzy neighbourhood, which for some reason is where most cities' primary train stations seem to be located (hotel is about 3mins walk from Copenhagen Central - best to exit station at rear) this place comes with NONE of the slapdash, take-it-or-leave-it, mouldy, threadbare, thin-walled, stinky vibes that one usually finds in hotels in such hoods. The place is spotless...bathroom was immaculate (no tiny little latherless green soaps here, but rather Oriental Lavender bodywashes, if you don't mind!)...the room itself: modern, relatively spacious, hard floors with that ”Scandinavian” Ikea-esque furniture and bedding. Bedside chargers. Cool TVs that let you mirror your phone as Boris Johnson finally resigned. Small fridge. Aircon. Nice towels. ”New-feeling” crisp bedding. And perhaps the best thing, was the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They genuinely seem to all take pride in how they run the operation. You can get laundry done at their nearby sister hotel The Saga (where staff were also really nice). Anyway... enough blathering...I normally only write reviews on here when I'm pissed off with something. It was nice to write some positivity for a change. If it's available at a good rate (and the prices were good) you don't need to look anywhere else. S

The rooms is exactly as advertised - small and compact but with everything you need. A comfy bed, small kitchen area with a large fridge (a really bonus) and tiny toilet but with a great shower. I really do not see what else you could possibly need. We spend little time in a hotel rooms when travelling as are out and about exploring. The huge bonus, as others have mentioned, is the rooftop terrace which overlooks the bridge to Sweden. It is a short walk from the beach area with a few restaurants / bars but just 10 mins back on the metro to the centre of Copenhagen. Would stay here again and that is the best recommendation.

So we decided to stay for a week to explore Copenhagen. The hotel is the best location for what we wanted to do. We booked a ” small double” and when they say small they mean small. Coffee in lobby weekdays, but not tea. Bed nice. Bathroom nice. TV selection for English speakers dismal. Internet good. Front desk ladies awesome. The men...not so great. Windows are either black out covered or no privacy. A light filtering shade would be great. Tub pretty treacherous. Very slippery, sides very high. If you have mobility problems not for you. Our first impression was standing at the bottom of the marble stairs...maybe 9 or 10...with our suitcases and all the guys at the front desk ignoring us. So we lugged them up. Then happily told elevator closed for maintenance. Seriously? Luckily there were 2 elevators. Our last impression... they called us a taxi but did not tell us when it is called it is fixed price. Twice as much as suggested on the internet. I am not a business traveler and would have liked to be told upfront. So unpleasant surprise. Overall good bed, clean and neat, great location.
