Hotels Near Den Lille Havfrue In Oslo
0.04km from Din ButlerWe stayed as a family at this property, and were upgraded to a two bed apartment which was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The check in process is via self service in another building which is a 5 min walk. If you have large luggage I recommend you leave it at oscarsgate 86 property and walk down to Skovien 8 to check in as the way back will be uphill for about 50 metres and will be difficult to drag large luggage. There is a supermarket within 5 mins walk which sells most things you will need to make your own breakfast, or cook a meal as eating out is expensive in Norway. The nearby 7-11 also sells tram/bus tickets and decent ready to eat food which is also reasonably priced. The Tram/Bus stop is about 5 min walk from the property and you can reach the City in 10-15 mins and its very convenient and cheaper way to travel as Taxis are very expensive. There is no reception onsite, but towels, sheets, toiletries etc u need are left on a cart near the main entrance so you can access them. There is a Washing Machine in the bathroom, which has instructions in Norwegian (english would be helpful) and you have to buy your own washing powder. There is a dishwasher in Kitchen but only 1 tablet is provided, so if u are staying more than a day u need to buy dishwasher tablets (property should provide a few) Overall we would stay here again if we visited Oslo and recommend this property to other travelers
0.07km from Din ButlerMy wife treated me to 3 nights here in December and it was fantastic. Check in easy. There’s coffee and tea in the reception and sometimes a plate of biscuits. There is a separate locked room to store luggage until check in. And then this can also be used at check out. The apartments are huge with everything you need, a mini kitchen, tv, sofa, dining table and large bed. The bathroom has a heated floor which was great. The location is pretty good with a few restaurants nearly. And less than 10 minutes to walk to the tram/bus station at Solli where it is then fairly easy to get around the city. Too be honest it’s not too far to walk into the centre either which we did several times. One thing to remember is that unless you pay extra there are no cleaners during your stay. This didn’t bother us as we wouldn’t change bedding and towels daily at home. On our last morning we followed the guidelines to take our own rubbish and recycling to the bins in the basement area before checking out. A wonderful apartment which we would definitely recommend and revisit should we come back to Oslo.

0.29km from Din ButlerStayed 5 nights here and loved it. Very easy & efficient check in with a automated kiosk. Close to trams & trains hence you can explore the city very easily. The apartment was clean, modern and well appointed. Loved the mirror in the bathroom!
0.32km from Din ButlerThe hotel is generally good, there is a parking place at the entrance for loading and unloading luggage, the parking lot is underground, and a small door not far to the right of the hotel's main entrance enters. Note that the door and driveway are particularly narrow, you must drive in carefully. The parking fee is expensive, 250 crowns per night, but cheaper than outside. But there were few parking spaces. When we arrived at the hotel later in the afternoon, a waitress said there was no parking space underground, so I went outside to the nearby public parking lot to park. After I unloaded my luggage and checked in, I took a chance to go to the basement level and found that there was still a vacant seat. I immediately went to the front desk to handle the parking procedures. In the next few days, I walked around the city on foot. Without moving a car, I walked to the Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the National Opera House, and the Munch Museum. Hotel rooms are more comfortable, breakfast is great, there are salmon, two ways. Hardly ever seen salmon in hotels in Sweden and Denmark. In short, everything was satisfactory.

0.45km from Din ButlerLovely apartments in a great part of Oslo City, easy to find and a beautiful, very clean apartment which had all the facilities needed for a very comfortable stay. Nice size apartment for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen lounge. If you are not able to climb stairs I would advise you request a lower floor apartment. 10 min walk to Aker Brygge where you will find a shopping and eating area and beautiful views of the harbor. Loved Oslo for easy access to get to places either, tram, bus or boat. Loads of places to visit and would advise getting Oslo pass as it will save money on activities. Would definitely stay in the apartment again and recommend Forenom in the future.
0.46km from Din ButlerI have mixed feelings here. The location was really good for us (close to the library, where I was working, and close to Aker Brygge and the city centre). The staff were also friendly and tried their best to resolve issues quickly. We never got the heating fixed and our flat was extremely hot for our entire stay, and though they brought us a tiny fan, we were quite warm, especially at night. However, I agree with other reviewers here, who noted that the flats are pretty small and that for the price, you'd expect a bit more. I think for stays over 5 or so days, they should automatically clean, rather than charging for it. They should also offer more toilet paper and kitchen towels instead of expecting you to buy it, and they could provide aluminium foil and a few other basics (again, given the price we're paying). I'd like to see refillable soap containers, in order to be more eco-friendly, rather than small plastic bottles that they presumably throw away. And I think they could easily offer a vegan breakfast (you know, bread with vegetables isn't that hard to prepare...). In general, though, we had a good stay.

0.51km from Din ButlerYou may come to experience, as we did, the breakfast- and evening meal- buffet out of food, sticky buffet floors, juice machines out of juice, spilled food and drinks onto the buffet (and more) without the staff tending to it. A snack on the floor of your hotel room may compensate for the lack of a hot evening meal as promised in the hotel advertising, but then again maybe not. However, if you enjoy a tomato-sauce based fish stew, there will be ample for you, as few others do. No vegetarian/vegan hot meal options for neither morning nor evening. How about a shower that also showers the whole bathroom? After which you can dry off with a brown-stained towel.. No towel provided for the wet and slippery floor, though. And of course; no complementary toiletries in this hotel. Note that upper-level staff do not wear the assigned face mask in the buffet-area nor otherwise. Guests have to provide their own masks or buy it at the reception although there's no information preparing guests for this. If you hang the 'Do not disturb' sign on your door chances are the hotel-room telephone will ring off the hook the whole day as the receptionist will want to know what you mean by that. If you cannot answer the phone because you're in an online meeting and thus must not be disturbed, it will be to no avail to turn the sign to 'please, clean my room' the next day as you were too busy to answer the phone the previous day about the 'do not disturb' sign pertaining to that day when the sign was out. If course, if you decide to say anything non-complimentary about any of this the hotel manager willingly regrets your perception of it all. Enjoy your stay somewhere else.

0.57km from Din ButlerThis is an excellent property if you need a great central location whether for business or pleasure. It is economy level, but the kitchen is nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable. The biggest problem right now is the very heavy construction right in front of the entrance which prevents cars from pulling up. You should plan on bringing your own shower/hair toiletries as there is only one hotel-size bottle of shampoo and shower gel, and no routine resupply. The airport taxi service and grocery add-on services are recommended, and the billing handled effortlessly. Also, the on-line chat via their website is very good. We booked through VRBO and couldn't get a response through that channel. In general, an excellent location, but just don't expect the usual VRBO type stocked apartment.
0.65km from Din ButlerThis weekend we were housed in the most stylish suite in this building. It was 3 nights that I could use my imagination with this incredible scenario. Too bad I could not stay longer in Oslo and finally visit the Frogner church located 25 meters from the apartment in where, by my window, I could imagine Frogner residents from differents eras meeting each other in that church, as well as I imagine how the bars downstairs were the same meeting point in the previous years and for some reason doesn't happen quite like it. Everything comes to an end. The hallways were very similar to a selection of Polanski films. A sum of observations made me only confabulate in my remaining time how this apart hotel institution without building service really works. How do they clean, why don't we have contact with those responsible (besides the tlf.), etc.? Does this method really prevent problems? On my floor, the washing machine was showing signs of problems and on the corridor was soaked with water and soap. As we are in summer, I wore flip flops and I could feel the soap impregnating it. Shouldn't there be a comrade who sort of checked those blunders? The first floor reserves a fascinating sculpture plus 2 empty pubs. At night they close as if they were jewelry stores and the corridor to the apartments looks like the exit from a bank.
0.68km from Din ButlerIt was the second time we stayed at the hotel, about a week in juli 2018, and a single night in december 2019, while we surprise visited a friend in Oslo. It offers a perfect location, walking distance to Akkers Brygge (in 2018 we went swimming in the sea down there), the city centre and much more. There is a Car Park in the building. Room sizes do vary, various rooms types are offered when booking. The room (313) was well appointed, large and had a very spacious bath room. The breakfast is huge, lots of variation to sample. The restaurant serves breakfast but not lunch / dinner, however you have what must be 30+ restaurants across the road. Nice staff. We dont really look for other hotels in Oslo.

I booked this hotel for a night but stayed for two nights cos we were not able to go to Tromso as we came from UK and were not allowed to tour unless we had ten days quarantine. We were lucky to book at this hotel cos the receptionists were very helpful and accommodating (especially Matilda). We were on quarantine but did not feel the pressure. We enjoyed our time inside the room with food and drink served/delivered right at the door. Breakfast was so appetising and it took us til lunch to finish. We inly had to order supper thru Foodora.no app. The room on 9th floor was so clean with lovely (smell) toiletries and plenty of towels. The corridor is clean and quiet. We had a restful night. I recommend this hotel if you come to Oslo, 30-34 mins from Oslo airport. Plenty of shops around and a bar at 34th floor of the hotel. They also have plenty of elevators A to H that is operated by the key card so it is safe. The pool and fitness gym are closed due to Covid and in general, this hotel looks safe from Covid with its hight tech sanitising spray on all corners. We’d love to stay again here if ever we get a chance to come back to Oslo.

In beginning of August 2020 the upper floors of the hotel underwent some renovation/maintenance, which was audible from 9am. Therefore the hallway was protected with plastic and entrance to our room was smeared with white footprints. The carpet in our room 2206 was stained and also old and dirty - would need to be replaced; heel/sauna sleepers would be nice to keep feet and socks clean from the dirty carpet. Breakfast was a total disappointment - don't blame it on Covid-19 because hotels of the Nordic Choice chain (e.g. Quality Hotel) had a lot more options to choose from for breakfast and in the same period. Was a big big disappointment that a 4-star Radisson Blue hotel was bel to offer just scrambled eggs and not also fried eggs for breakfast. Everything cold was in small jars which was unnecessary in my opinion. Breakfast was not 4-star but 2,5-star at the best. The pool is like from a horror movie.

Oslo Central Railway Station is on the edge of the hotel, but you have to pick out the exit. In fact, you don't have to export. You can go straight through the mall. It is very convenient. It is convenient to take the train. Walking to various attractions, going to the statue park, we are also walking, this city has a lot of rain, with rain gear. Breakfast is very windy, eat well, fruits and vegetables, continental breakfast. The front desk is welcoming and will meet each other every day. The size of the room is ok, and the entrance to the train station can be seen from the window.

Second stay here, 4 stars last time, definately 5 stars this time. Love the 7th floor, some may say it's a bit noisy here but I love hearing the trams late into the night and early morning also you could just hear the metro but the view from the 7th floor is great day and night! All staff are fantastic, the room is kept clean, this was my only complaint last visit was room service missed me, but not this time, perfect :-) There is a huge choice of hotels in Oslo, but if it feels right don't fix, I go back to the same place, see you again very soon I hope Scandic Grensen!

Liked · Location was excellent, 10 minutes walk from station or 2 stops on the tram. Very central so shops, restaurants, marina were all within a short walk. Public transport within 2 mins. Room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, maybe extra pillows would have been nice. We had a 7th floor room with balcony. Double glazing was good and completely shut out any road noise. Shower was good and nice big fluffy towels. The room was equipped with Nespresso machine, kettle, iron and ironing board (pop up), hairdryer, safe and slippers. Breakfast was a good selection with bacon rolls, a waffle machine, noodles, hot and cold choices and lots of fish and fruits, and also pastries. Everyone should be able to find something. Staff were very friendly. Bar prices in line with Oslo standards. Will definitely stay again as I hope to return when the weather is warmer.
