|1.91km from city centerI arrived at the hotel about two hours before check in. The atmosphere was amazing with a bar and breakfast and lunch the following day.
My bed was very comfortable the only down side was there was an actually sheet they tucked it under the mattress as if it was a fitted sheet. It came with one comforter. I had to call room service twice possibly cause they were busy to bring extra blankets. The heater did not work they disconnected it due to the hot weather mind you at night I was extremely cold. Over all everything was a modern setup. You are close to Mercado Hidalgo, center al cultural, many other things. It was over all a nice stay.

|1.61km from city centerThe staff I met were kind, friendly & honest. No hot water in my room except for the shower. Its quiet. Much of the small cable package they offer had poor quality reception. Their English was much better than my Spanish, but you're limited to keeping things very simple. My main disappointment came as I was checking out after an extended stay I was approached by the owner, who was something of a hothead. He complained about the condition of the room. I may not be perfect, but I've stayed in dozens of motels & hotels & was never subjected to such a hostile rant. He hit me up for $100, & being an American with a cab waiting I didn't want to get into it & went along with this minor extortion.

|7.83km from city centerBreakfast is average, rooms are small and slightly cramped. Surrounding environment is good, supermarkets and restaurants are fully equipped, especially for food, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tacos and Western food, and they taste good. Chinese buffet restaurants are Chinese, and they can communicate and make traditional Chinese stir-fried dishes individually, and charge according to the buffet fee, which is economical and affordable.

|8.22km from city centerI had a good stay at the holiday inn otay the the regular rooms are bigger Than most hotel room in Tijuana Tijuana I think like 355 Sq feet something like that. I have not stayed in the suites.. thats bigger . it's right in the mall and next to airport. It has a fridge and microwave which is very useful and all the other normal stuff that comes with the hotel... I got some of my answers when I wrote my first add.. yes friendss are allowed to visit they do have late and early check in if your ihg member like the holiday inn.. I'm going to say the girls who check me in the mornings pr afternoon are very nice .. I'm gonna say this I did have a problem with an overnight male employee that actually made me want to check out early. cause thus employees was rude hey is older guy with white or Grey hair. ..but the general manager Marco hopefully kinda fix the situation.. so I would like to say the general manager is nice and I want to thank him him for his understanding and if you email the general manager he will respond... I know when I write the front they hardly respond to email.. but the general manager will respond he is very nice So my whole stay was great except for the last 4 hours. So the girls at check in were very nice.. the general Manger Marco was very nice... oh yeA the do have a breakfast buffer and the guy who does that is very nice and attentive to needs. The beds were comfortable.. good water pressure with the shower.. and yes they have hot showers which is good. Thank you holiday inn otay for a good stay

|3.55km from city centerI like the head laundry guy and the cook in the restaurant. This small, old hotel is clean and the water to shower is hot. It is up grading. Repainting walls and upgrading a few other things. It definately is worn but I repeat clean and the location can't be beat. It is close to the border, the shopping, the malls, downtown...acrossed from the Marriot and GolF Campestre and Mercado de Todos and 5/10 if you want to shop where the locals do.

Tijuana
|1.92km from city centerHotel Caesar's is a historic place located on Revolucion avenue. If you want to see central Tijuana, this is a good choice to stay. The hotel restaurant is where Caesar salad was invented. You could have them hand toss the salad for you like a show. The hotel is reasonably priced at around $40-$50 USD weekdays. Weekends, they raise the price considerably. It is best to check booking websites for better deal. And paying in MXN pesos gives a slight advantage in price (let your credit card handle the foreign exchange). The rooms are very clean although a little bit dated. I would recommend getting rooms on the 2nd floor as the 3rd floor feels like an addition. The 2nd floor looks more authentic. Some rooms facing the Revolucion (main street) could be noisy. Each room has a walk-in closet with a safe. You could store your valuables inside. There is large LCD TV but it doesn't seem like a smart TV. Each room has a small desk.

|2.22km from city centerI was there 2 times, the first the good and clean hotel, the second bad experience. I arrived from my flight at 9 a.m. and I had to work out there, they gave me that until 1:30 would be my room, and that if I wanted to be before 1:30 would they charge me 400 pesos, I obviously told you no, Afterwards I returned to install and I told them I would be 3 nights but the last night wouldn't be all day that my stuff were kept for me since my way was out at 6:30 pm and if there were possibilities to deliver to 2-3 pm the room and they told me not again, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I went to Cesar hotel that is a few minutes away and certainly in that hotel I was much better, I got options and I got the deal I expected

Tijuana
|2.04km from city centerI have stayed in dozens of hotels in Tijuana, this is my current favorite. Conveniently located in the center of the Centro area, this hotel provides reasonable pricing, with boutique hotel amenities. After staying at other hotels nearby, where you will experience the pounding bass of nearby discos or constant street noise, until the wee hours of the morning, Rio Rita provides a quiet night sleep. All the rooms are set back away from the street, the drawback with this are the windows face-out to the hallway, so don't expect any views. This hotel was recently renovated and is clean and comfortable. Each room is themed with a mural of iconic pop culture figure. I recently stayed in the Bridget Bardo room. The king size bed was very comfortable, a nice size T.V. had a few English-speaking channels. The bathroom was clean and modern. The rain shower head was a nice touch but be aware the hot water took about 5 minutes to get going. Location is key here as it located near some great restaurants and artisanal brewpubs. Top notch Caesars, La Justina and Verde y Crema Restaurants, as well as Insurgente, Border Psycho, Mamut and Norte brewpubs are within walking distance. Entrance to the hotel is always locked and require a room card or to be buzzed in by reception.

Tijuana
|5.21km from city centerWe'll see. This hotel is for someone who will only use the room to sleep. There is nothing in this hotel that encourages nobody to stay**** beyond sleep hours. There is no extra mentionable: neither gym nor pool nor common areas of any kind. Someone said it was a motel transformed into hotel, and that's exactly what it seems. Now: one is paying very little and what he receives is that, very little. Just a bed, a bathroom and a TV. I want to make it clear that this is not necessarily a negative criticism: I just say what it is. Leo guests who thought to find **** for 40 dollars with a well-placed hotel. I don't know where these people live. The hotel is a hotel that fulfils its function of providing us a bed and so far. Something clean and half comfortable to sleep. Parking is quite wide because there are two (do not take care of those who say it is very small). I didn't try the restaurant food. I didn't feel unsure. There are people who say they've stolen him. Don't dismiss them. But if that's the case, I think they should put some security guards for the night. I didn't see any.

Tijuana
|2.71km from city centerLet me just start by saying this hotel and their staff were great! I went down there to take my daughter for a medical procedure. I dropped her off at 8 a.m. but their check in time is 3 p.m.. They bent over backwards to help me out and had a room ready by 11 a.m.. The rooms very extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is taking extreme precautions due to Covid. They take your temperature at the door, supply hand sanitizer, and all employees are wearing masks with servers also wearing gloves. I ate multiple meals at the restaurant with the food being good, not very expensive, and again the waiters being so friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a shutter service and they drove me to the hospital to pick up my daughter so I didn't have to navigate the confusing streets of Tijuana. And as I was leaving, the nicest thing they did for me was to actually lead me to the border entrance we needed by following the shuttle driver there. If I go to Tijuana again, this is the only hotel I would stay in.

Tijuana
|1.98km from city centerThe website, WhatsApp, and phone has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. IF you make a reservation which I do not recommend, do not use their website. Use a 3rd party because anyone's customer service will be better than theirs. I made a reservation on their own website for 4 nights but accidentally made it at the wrong Tijuana City Express Hotel (the names are almost identical) #13932220. I realized this very soon after and contacted Customer Service on their WhatsApp account just 25 minutes after making the reservation asking for my reservation to be moved to the correct hotel. Representative Alberto Campos did not fix this. Basically, their headquarters had terrible and difficult customer service. I do not recommend them. I had to make a second reservation at the Tijuana City Express I needed to stay at. I told the night clerk that checked me in about the issue (being double-charged) and the manager. The manager told me to call and email their customer service. I spoke with Monica at that number but she was not helpful. In fact, I do not trust it was her name. She would not let me speak to a manager or give me the name of her manager and hung up on me (and I have a witness on this).

Tijuana
|2.41km from city centerThis is the kind of place you stay to get a few hours of sleep after getting drunk in one of TJ's many drinking establishments. The hotel is right in the middle of the red light district. It is convenient to many of the establishments that people come to TJ for. If you don't care about anything other than having a bed in a convenient location, this place is a good value and may work for you. It's not a place you'll want to spend any extra time at. That being said, let me explain more about this hotel. It looks nice from the outside, and is set back from the main road by a private parking lot which is guarded. The security of this place is good, which is much appreciated considering the seediness of the area. The staff here are good too, very efficient and friendly. Check in and check out are a breeze and the staff will help whenever they can. The public areas of the hotel have been recently spruced up and look nice. The price of the rooms are reasonable. Those are the only positives, though. The rooms are just nasty - smelly, noisy, dirty. There is almost no natural light - one window faces the interior hotel atrium, and two tiny windows located in the shower room open to an alleyway. There is no fresh air in the rooms and no ventilation, other than noisy wall unit A/C which is only recirculating the same stale air. This is probably why the rooms have a smell. The walls are thin so you'll be hearing a lot of noise (though just from the inside of the hotel - the hotel is set back enough from the street that you don't hear street noise). The rooms were not clean, with little stains here and there, paint peeling off, mold in the bathroom area etc. There are also almost no amenities - no fridge, hair dryer, tissue box. There is a small safe, however. My towels were damp, probably from not being dried enough in the laundry. This hotel can serve a purpose but just know what you are getting if you make a reservation.

|4.76km from city centerWe use this hotel for one night, it is 10 minutes from the airport, making it excellent for those who come on express trip. We were in the room and we were able to get a packet of 200 pesos for the TV and air conditioning checks. The clean room but a little old yet with all its facilities except a mini-fridge. The hotel is well located as you can find a xxo, a small new square, tacos in the night (I recommend tacos my house), trucks and ”taxi routes” going to the center/line and airport. The hotel has a cost of 80 pesos to transport to the airport.

|2.89km from city centerSo not bad at all. Stayed for about a week. Ordered lots of room service and drank at the bar. Room was wonderful. My only complaint was when I called room service one night and the guy was obviously annoyed, quite rude. I asked for the total of my order to have money ready and he judt plainly say ”no. Anything else? I responded no then he hangs up. No time or thank you. Other than that I enjoyed the security of the hotel, we left money out and maid service came by while we were lit and they didn't take it but instead changed our sheets, towels and tidied up my workstation (desk). Will be returning in April again.

|1.75km from city centerThe hotel entrance is very small. It is essentially 1 regular glass door (32.53073920595744, -117.03780915064294) next to the bar. The hotel has a permanent staff watching this door. You can be buzzed in by this staff. Your key only opens your room. the majority of the room do not have any electronic locks. It's just good old fashion keys. The queen size bed is on a frame. It is not very stable. One can easily move it. This helps the staff change your sheets easily. There is smart TV mounted on the wall with Netflix available. The soaps in the bathrooms are on a dispenser. There is no safe. The wardrobe is a cabinet looking thing without any doors. half of the room have windows, might be noisy sometimes. The other half have skylights because they are on the inner side of the building.
