Our family stayed at the Honigmond Hotel for three nights between Christmas and New Year. The apartment on the third floor was very spacious with two huge bedrooms (1 x large king in one room and 2 x single in the other room) and a large living room with 6 seat dining room table. Kitchen has two hot plates, fridge and eating utensils. Cool interior design based on period features with inviting lobby to enjoy a beer or coffee. Quiet location only a 15 minute walk to the action. Great public transport including tram and train around a 5 minute walk. Staff are friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Would love to stay there again for longer next time.

This is a lovely hotel and I stayed here for eight nights at the end of July 2019. The friendly and professional reception staff mostly spoke excellent English and I felt like I should have been more adept at using German. The bight light rooms at the front have floor to ceiling windows, huge curtains and nets. The beds are comfortable with a single cover for each person. There's a desk space and plenty of plug sockets (outlets) for devices. The only down side for me is that the bath and sink are within the main area of the bedroom so you have to be pretty comfortable if you are sharing the room and there's was a separate toilet in the room. The friendly room cleaning teams said Hallo every morning and I only needed the room cleaning every two or three days. The air cooling unit was set to 15c most of the time and its smooth sounds helped me sleep well while it was between 19 and 34c outside. Location wise there are five or six places to eat in the immediate part of thee street for lunch and dinner and even a friendly cafe nearby should you not wish to have the breakfast at the hotel. Would stay again any time!

It's a normal youth hostel, the area of the four-person room is quite large, and the sanitary environment is normal. The surprise was that the room had a hair dryer, and I didn't know why there were three. The transportation is convenient. It is near to the subway. The wife of the Berlin subway is very convenient. There is no need to check tickets. The disadvantage is that once entering the dormitory building, it feels unventilated and very stuffy. Several buildings were connected together and dazzled inside. The elevator is not very easy to use, anyway, my card is not responding. I like Berlin haha.

It was the first time I stayed at an Amano Hotel. As it only opened in summer 2019 all was very new and in good condition.I learned about the hotel as I visited the restaurant Joseph before. Delicious, I can just recommend it. Although it was winter I liked the courtyard where you can sit during the summer months for a drink. Staff is very nice. Some constructive feedback, as a regular traveler: - It needs light in the wardrobe especially as the room is designed to be very dark. It needs to have an automatic light that turns on once you open it - Bathroom Mirror needs to be heated as after a shower the mirror is steamed up. When opening the bathroom door it does not stay open so that is not an option - Smoking Bar: I learned during my visit that the smoking law in Berlin bars has changed, when you do not serve food and you are allowed to smoke. When you only have one hotel bar it do not find this good. International guests are used to non smoking bars so even external guests shall be fine with it. You should consider if being a smoking or non smoking bar brings you more revenue. We for example went to another bar as we did not wanted to be in a smoking bar. - Air conditioning: Not strong enough, I do not want to stay in this hotel when it is summer. Although you can open the window, internationally seen not everyone likes to sleep with an open window. Also considering the noise level from the courtyard when people are sitting there during the warmer summer months or even now in winter I heard some people. Also the rooms facing to the main street, you do not like to sleep with an open window. - Bed sheets: Personally I did not like the quality, it was not very soft. But I know that is the difference to a 5 star hotel. :-) Other people may not comment on that -no mini bar / no complimentary water on arrival in the room: Maybe I could have asked for it but I think at least for arrival it will be nice to have 1-2 bottles depending on the occupancy in the room. Breakfast buffet was very nice and they offer you egg dishes a la carte. You also have an option for a small breakfast shall you only like to grab a coffee and croissant. Generally, we were happy with the hotel the value for money was ok. We went in low season, in higher season I would probably be not willing to pay more considering the points above that are important for me to have the best comfort.

I was there for a one week event, a seminar followed by a board meeting and I and my roommate had enough stuff packed in our luggage for all occasions. However, when we got to our room, we discovered the storage space lacked shelves, both in the two little closets and in the night stands. minimalist is not the design I am looking for in a bedside table far from home.We were gklad to have a safe, but it was put back so for in the top of a closet that I had to climb on a chair (it would have been an itheresting lawsuit, if I had fallen and decided to sue the hotel for damages) to reach it to put my valuables in. My taller companion could just about reach the safe, but could not see the buttons well enough back there in the dark, to efficiently lock and unlock it! The desk was almost big enough for our two laptops, but was too high to comfortably use them, there was no drawer or shelf under the raised surface to put books and papers away when not using them. The desk chair was "cheap" and as uncomfortable a seat as I could imagine for sitting at the desk. The light switch to the bathroom was placed behind the open bathroom door so that it could not be easily accessed (especially not by right handers) when going in and out of the room. The bathroom itself did not have any good rods for hanging up the fluffy towels, just little protrusions that barely kept the towels up. The little knobs for the hand towels were both on the same side of the sink, so that the towels for the two different guests were crowded and difficult for each to access easily. If knobs, then one knob on each side of the sink might have been better. The bathroom also had no storage space for cosmetic and toiletry bags, but barely enough space on the counter for a glass with a toothbrush on one side and a few more things on the other. The shower was the tightest I have ever encountered. Now I know what caged laying hens feel like in close confinement and why the EU had to step in so they, at least, could turn around. When we turned around we were knocking into the faucet or the shower door knobs. The meeting room for the board meeting was set up for lecture-listening rather than round table discussion. But one of the worst features of the meeting rooms Finkenwald were the reluctance of the projector to receive data from laptops of the various presenters (much time was lost to that, trying to get PowerPoints and documents up on the screen, and then, changing transmitter from laptop to laptop, loosing sevaral minutes - sometimes even a quarter of an hour - trying to coax information onto the screen). The other issue was the tendency of the microphones to poop out in the middle of the afternoon, leaving people in the back of the room unable to hear the procedings. Replacement mikes also tended to faint after an hour or two of use. The employees were mostly friendly and helpful, but the food service staff was pretty inflexible. The food very good, if always luke warm rather than

For the Berlin Marathon, we chose the hotel within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. Old German hotels, the room facilities, area, and layout are very classic, compared to many typical German-style hotels with small beds and cabins closer to the early domestic four-star hotels. Pros: Quiet, close to the park, rich breakfast, the hotel's only restaurant tastes good, the service is good, and the price is fair. Cons: No1. Not soundproof! On the first night of the marathon, there was an Arab or some banquet in the ballroom. The room on the second floor was always noisy with ding-dong music until 23:00! No2 The exhaust system is not good, the room always asks for the fume smell before and after meals. No3 As a four-star hotel, it is hard to imagine that the concierge was never seen at the door, and there was no room service or any on-site service. When I returned to the hotel after the game, I wanted to have some ice cubes and was told by the front desk that I could go to the bar on the first floor. The bar on the first floor may be understaffed and no one greet for a long time. No 4 is not close to the subway. In the end, I probably understand why there are still a lot of vacancies on the eve of the marathon, and the next marathon should be avoided.

The hotel is located less than 5 mins from the train station but in the room we had you couldn't hear it. So clean which is nothing unusual in our experience of the Motel One chain but in the current climate I believe they're going above and beyond to ensure guest safety to all practicable standards. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had information from the receptionist about train travel and we used the guest lounge a couple of times and the staff there were courteous and cheerful despite having to wear masks constantly. I have to admit we look now for a Motel One wherever we stay as we've used them for a couple of years now and never had a bad stay. The rooms are functional, if a little sparse in places for clothes. The bathrooms are clean and a good size and so far all have had good showers in them. Plenty of information sent out when we booked given us the details of the cleaning regime and what was expected from us in the current situation and what we could expect in terms of differences to the 'norm'.

It is a small modern hostel with four rooms. We stayed (family with teenager) in 4-beds room with bathroom and refrigerator, quite spacious, with large dinning table. There is a shared kitchen, well equipped, with tea, coffee, oil, spices, you can use. Host (David) was very kind and helpful. There is a free parking all around the hotel, there was no problem finding free space (right in front of our window). Large maerkets and petrol stations near by. Excellent public transport (tram and bus) connection with the centre. Neighborhood is OK. Hostel is on the ground floor, and rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but not that much that it ould be something too disturbing.

It can be said that it is a pleasant full of youth travel, very good! The four people are mixed with a private bathroom, the room is not small, the bunk bed, the bed is very comfortable, there is a desk, and each person has a separate small iron cabinet. The bathroom is also very spacious, the shower head can be taken down, very satisfied. It is cleaned every morning and it is very clean. The most important thing is that the breakfast is very rich. At night, the lobby turns into a clear bar. There is a lot of location, the atmosphere is very good, and there is free hot water. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is about 3 Euros, and a laundry soap vending machine. The few ladies at the front desk were very nice and very enthusiastic. The location is also very good, there are versatile bus lines 100 and 200 at the entrance, there are many different lines of tram, walking to Alexanderplatz (TV tower) is less than 10 minutes, walking around the museum island is 20 minutes . The surrounding environment is very safe and clean. The opposite is Benz bank. In short, this is the best experience in the trip to Europe. It is easy to stay for four or five days and it will not be inconvenient.

Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.

The hotel is just 100 meters from the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. In the morning, almost no one is photographed at the Brandenburg Gate. It is a rare sight for a landmark attraction. The full name of the hotel is called Adlon Kempinski, but when I take a taxi, I say Kempinski next to the Brandenburg Gate. It’s better to say that the Adlon Hotel is more able to let the driver know, because Adlon The hotel has become a cultural symbol just like the Lao She Tea House and the Budapest Grand Hotel. It has witnessed the historical changes of Berlin and even Germany. The hotel gives a very classic feeling, the floor display of the elevator on the first floor and the floor display in the elevator are still mechanical pointer type, very old fashioned feeling. We stayed at the administrative level on the sixth floor, but because the flight was cancelled the day before, it was early in the morning in Berlin. The check-in was at 8:30 this morning. The room didn't pick the best position in the field of view, but it was also the window. The Den Burg Gate and the Capitol. The hotel is decorated in a classic style with complete facilities and an indoor swimming pool, but the tour in September is still relatively cold. The breakfast at the hotel is very rich, and there are actually preserved eggs that foreigners can't stand. The overall feeling is very good.

Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. The actual taxi at the entrance of the hotel is not difficult to call. When leaving the hotel, it is a black taxi. It feels like being bypassed.

A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

I booked a weekend away with my partner at this hotel and booked the room which had the games machine in it. We got there and it wasn’t in the room... Then the AC stopped working and I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. So I went down to the front desk to ask for a handyman and the lady told me that a handyman would hopefully be up soon. We waited for 40 mins and I then had to walk back to the reception to be told by someone else that a handyman would not be coming but I would have to change rooms at that time of the evening. This is unacceptable. The staff was friendly so I can’t complain about their attitude. But this is still unacceptable. We got up at 11pm and drove home. And to add, this is a hotel with means there will be tourists there. Tourists usually don’t speak German. Why are all the tv stations in German?!

We spent 5 nights inThe Circus Apartments. We had booked a Duo Economy room, but that had been re-allocated, so we were upgraded to the Schroeder Duo apartment on the 1st floor (at no extra cost). This is the second time we have stayed in Circus Apartments and both times have been excellent. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very good supply of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is a full-size cooker and oven, microwave and fridge. A free laundry is located in the building basement. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. This apartment also has a balcony with chairs and table. The only minor drawbacks were that the shower rose could not be adjusted sufficiently to avoid splashing a considerable amount of water on the bathroom floor, and the lighting in the living area is quite dim. All staff we encountered were cheery and very helpful. The apartment location is good, being not too far from public transport stops, supermarket and other shops, and the local area is pleasant and interesting for a walk around. It is also easy to work out suitable routes to go for a run. We highly recommend Circus Apartments.

Stayed at OTA Berlin with my husband and two sons (18 and 16). We booked a studio apartment and it was a perfect base near the city for us. Huge apartment with two single beds and a double, beautiful high ceilings and very light and bright. The kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to cook breakfast every morning. We were at the back of the building, facing into the courtyard so street noise wasn’t an issue for us, although there was a very rowdy crowd staying on our last night, shouting out in the courtyard until all hours and again early in the morning. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and there is a U Bahn station less than five minutes walk away. There’s also a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy all nearby. We were on the third floor and there is no lift so you really get a workout! There was broken glass in the hallway on the second morning we stayed and it was still there two days later. We had been instructed on check-in to drop the two keys in the letter box in the hall when we were checking out. However as we were leaving we met an elderly man sweeping the stairs who insisted we give him the keys, I tried to explain that we would drop them in the letter box, as instructed, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer so we hesitatingly handed them over, hoping he was an employee!! The only thing that bothered me about the apartment was that there was no sign of any fire safety equipment anywhere in the building, apart from a fire blanket next to the cooker. No sign of a fire extinguisher or fire hose anywhere in the apartment or in the public areas, I was surprised that an apartment could be rented out to the public without stringent fire regulations? Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.
