I Love, Love, Love the staff at this particular Marriott/Fairfield Inn Eden Prairie, Mn. and it is because of the staff. From the General Manager Dan Gordon (Great guy by the way) to the front desk staff Kase, Josh, James and new young lady over night and the breakfast guy. They are all very accommodating and friendly. They remember you and your little quirks which is important to me as a guest. I am a friends and family guest. I am treated like any other guest. For that I will always cater to and recommend this Fairfield Inn. For example I always have to extra sheets when Josh knows I’m coming in he has them ready. I love Kase she is so friendly and sweet. James is always very dapper in his (James Bond) look alike suits. He is always friendly and accommodating as well. The gentleman that prepares the breakfast is always happy and friendly and the food is always ready. To me this says a lot about the leadership. When I encountered Dan Gordon I got the same very accommodating, friendly and professional treatment from him as well. Not to mention I initially chose it because it was one of the cleaner Marriott Fairfield Inns. I just wanted let travelers know if you want to stay at a nice, clean hotel with great friendly and accommodating staff at a good price. I highly recommend Fairfield Inn in Eden Prairie!

Courtyard Marriott Eden Park We chose this hotel from the Booking.com website based on price and proximity to most things in the Minneapolis area.  This was a weekend trip where we explored several places including the Bakken Museum, the City Mill Museum and Mall of America.  I chose a hotel that had a pool because the weather was less than ideal so we wanted to have the option to do something when it was snowing outside. Source: Booking.com ***I feel like this property has been updated since we stayed here based on recent photos. Rooms Our room looked like we walked into a 1980s film set.  The hotel was very clean and the rooms were really clean, however, the bed was so worn that we slept in these divets in the mattress where probably millions of other bodies laid before us.  It felt gross.  The room had a great counter space for us to store our foods and a small fridge.  The room did not have a microwave.  We ordered pizza our second night there and there was plenty of space for eating and storing the pizza.  We had a clean bathroom and the room overall was clean.  I just had an issue with the bed.  The pull out couch mattress was like sleeping on the rocky floors of the forest. Amenities The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were spectacular.  I see that there were prior complaints but when we needed extra of anything they were more than willing to help.  The front desk was helpful for finding a list of restaurants that we would enjoy and they gave me a coupon for our pizza that made it less than $15 with delivery for a pizza. The pool was really nice, however, there were both nights groups of loud and rowdy, drunk adults enjoying the pool.  They were drinking a lot and it seemed that the front desk staff had no control over this.  It was uncomfortable and I was concerned for safety reasons.  They did not look old enough to drink and it was my impression that they were mostly high school age. The food options that they had in the lobby were standard for any Marriott and expensive.  We did not partake in any of the things they offered but it looked good.  We were happy with our pizza coupon and pizza we got delivered! Overall I would give this hotel a good rating for cleanliness and friendly staff.  The areas that were lacking were the dated rooms, the awful bed and pull out sofa mattress and the lack of care of the parties at the pool presumably by teenagers.  The hotel is located in a great location, there are restaurants nearby, it was not difficult to get to different attractions in the area and there also was shopping nearby including a Super Target.

The staff has been great in keeping me warm . They helped me change my room location based on preference . This made me very happy as I got the room in the office building. Added with a great shuttle service for morning and evening commute. Special shoutout to Garry and Cole. Not to forget the warm evening yummy cookies which i paired with hot chocolate. The breakfast also has options including oatmeal and fried eggs and fruits and waffles.Overall a good stay. The heater also worked overnight in the chilly weather.

Let me start by saying that I have stayed at the Extended Stay hotel chain in the past. It was a good experience minus a few details. I stayed at the Eden Prairie, Valley View Rd. location in early August and had my worst ever accomodation. There were issues with two rooms, including broken furniture, soiled sheets and unidentified insects. Though the stay was eventually refunded, they did nothing to arrange for a better stay until the next morning. The worst part is that this was brought to the attention of the District Manager and I still have not received a suitable response/ apology from upper management to date. If you have a choice, I'd recommend you not stay here. There are other options in the area.

This hotel is accessed very easily from interstate 494. There are a number of restaurants close by. It is an older hotel but has been nicely updated. The room was very nice and clean, heat worked well and was not noisy, and the bed was comfortable. We had an early check out so did not stay for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and right there to help. This hotel is one of my top 3 hotels to stay at when I'm in the area.

We have stayed many times at this hotel. To a person, the staff is very pleasant and anxious to address questions and/or concerns. As we travel, we've found that breakfasts at Hilton Garden Inns are generally very good. At the Eden Prairie HGI, the breakfasts are a cut above even the very good. This weekend there were fresh raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and pineapple along with the usual cooked-to-order eggs, etc.
