Staying in a place with your fur baby is the most sweetest moment to have. Thank God, the owner allows pets in their place. The room is spacious and cozy with spanish style bed. Breakfast is so yummy specially the brewed coffee. Friendly staff will welcome you and entertain your needs.

We stayed at Pura Vida for one night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When I called the resort the receptionist said that only one room is available and all other rooms are occupied. She is very consistent that when we arrived at the place I asked for the room with bath tub but she said it’s no longer available and that they are fully booked. We don’t see any other guests when we checked in, all the rooms are open and saw no one else staying at the resort. When she left, one of the guys mentioned that if we want to drink outside beside the pool we can stay at one of the rooms that has a veranda since its raining, anyway we are the only guest at the resort. If Im rating the resort I would rate it as negative 1 because of the lady at the reception since she’s representing the whole place, but it would be unfair to all of the staff at the resort who are nice and accommodating. Anyway we rented the place for 2500 we stayed at Altea room. The room is cozy and the bed is ok. It has a veranda pool view. The restroom has a funny smell, and it’s hard mixing the hot and cold temp of the water when taking shower. Either it’s really hot or really cold. The place is ok though it would be better if the swimming pool is heated but it’s nice and clean. They offer early check in and the check out time is 12pm the next day. They serve free breakfast, you can choose from tapsilog, tocilog, longsilog and bangsilog with kapeng barako. There’s shampoo and soap, towel inside the room. You can always request for a hot water at the reception and they will give you a thermos. They don’t offer free coffee so you have to buy your own. You won’t starve though they don’t have a resto in the resort but there are restaurants beside it. They have a parking space good for three vehicles.

The Lodge is located in an area where in it is quiet far from the busy side of tagaytay, the lodge has this homey feel to it specially their restaurant Tavern by the Lake, very instagramable if you may, the room that we were given was the Family Room (Room A) it is very spacious inside, you can even host a small get together with your friends inside the room, the room can fit maybe 15-20 persons inside, the hotel has a view deck where you can partially see the taal lake, it’s nice to stay there in the morning when the sun is rising up with a hot tea listening to your favorite music enjoying the great scenery, it is few meters away from Sky Ranch if that’s your thing, it is also near some shops, there is a nearby McDonalds, Grocery, Starbucks, Bag of Beans, Restaurants etc., the lodge also has an ideal area for events like outdoor wedding, birthday party, small company function etc., however contrary to what their site is saying that “All rooms is treated to a spectacular view of taal lake”, the lodge it self is facing the mountainous side, the lake is on it’s far left side so unless you are at the view deck you can not see the lake at all, although SOME of the rooms they offer can partially see the lake from their view so if you are looking for a view of the taal lake better ask the receptionist to put you in that room, I think the Attic room is the best room you can book if you want to stay in this place. Some of the rooms they offer is located below their restaurant the second floor is made of wooden flooring, so if the restaurant is busy and you want to sleep in your room peacefully you cannot do that because you can hear the foot steps on the restaurant specially if kids are running up stairs, you can also hear their chatting, mumbling, singing of Happy Birthday etc. it is annoying really, although not all rooms is like this they have rooms that is far from the noise of the restaurant like the deluxe room I think and the attic room, although the restaurant is not that busy for the most part, but if you come here on a weekend and the restaurant is busy and you want to rest you cannot do that, also the room that we were given is like not been used for the longest time, that the ceiling has a spider web on it the room has a somewhat funky smell to it, the bed runner has a water like stain to it that you know that they did not wash it before they let other clients inside the room, the restaurant is really nice to stay at it has a very homey feel to it the food is good, but it’s on the pricey side, the restaurant is good for hanging out, over all ummm... its meh for me.. the staff tho are really nice, thats what one thing i like.

Stayed overnight for a work thing. We stayed at the family villa. it's like an apartment with three rooms. but very big room -- can accommodate around 7 people. Complimentary bottled water was provided. Wifi is too weak when you're inside the room. Had to stay at the "sala" outside. They have a garden where you can have your events outdoor parties. Good for relaxation and family trips/training.

We stayed here on Feb. 16 to 17 (Chinese New Year) and Mar. 29 to 31 (Holy Week). We were assigned in rooms no. 4 (Chinese New Year) and no.7 (Holy Week). Pros: 1) Location is just a short walk to the transport terminal located inside Tagaytay Market (jeepneys bound to Peole's Park, Picnic Grove, Olivarez, and Balibago). 2) Free Filipino set breakfast. They also serve unlimited the best kapeng barako for free. 3) Big rooms. 4) AC unit, cable tv, water heater, and water pressure work well. 5) Thumbs up to the hospitality and warmness of the owner and staff. 6) Affordable rate if you get lucky to grab Agoda promotions. Cons: 1) Door knob in rooms no.4 & 7 was hard to lock and unlock. 2) Sink is outside the bathroom. 3) No bidet. 4) There was a problem with the circuit breaker in room no.4 resulting to frequent power interruption in our room. We took shower in the dark with water heater not functioning. We checked out the inn with our phones uncharged. 5) The bed sheet, pillow cases, and blanket in room no.7 seemed washed but smells bad. Maybe the room we were asssigned to was not occupied for a long period of time. 6) No telephone. 7) Nobody was present at the reception area most of the time particularly in the morning so some issues were not attended to.

This place is far from the mainstream Tagaytay, it is close to Picnic Grove, People's Park, and the entrance for Tagaytay Highlands. Therefore, a car is a must. To get to Tagaytay proper is 30 minutes upwards. This place has 7 rooms, of which we got 3 rooms for our group of 9. We got a room for 4, for 3, and for 2. Their front parking can accomodate 3 cars only, with additional cars either parking at the basement (hard access), or along the main road. Its really a house, turned into a airbnb. I used the living room to watch the NBA every monring, then go back to the main dining table for breakfast. We brought some fruits and used the kitchen with the help of their staff either to add on for breakfast, or for an after dinner snacks. They even switched on the split type airconditioning for us during that evening. The rooms are mostly on the 2nd floor (4 rooms -we oocupied 3 of the 4), and the rooms on the attic 3rd floor. There is another room at the basement. If the people staying at the attic rooms are noisy, you can hear their steps because of all the wood flooring. Bed frames are very high, higher than a typical bed. Super thick mattresses, but comfortable. Very good airconditioning. Flying and crawling insects were present in the room, which is possible given that the toilet window is open and can allow insects to go in. The problem I have is cleanliness. The staff is not thorough. The upper shelves in the room cabinets were very dusty. Certain sections of the toilets were not clean. The game room at the basement 2 was dusty. Even the refrigerator in the kitchen was dirty. This is really a pity because the service was really great, the staff went out of their way for the demanding senior citizen in our group. People took turns using the main dining room. But some of those occupying the other rooms either preferred to have their breakfast at the al fresco area or they had to go there if the main dining table was occupied. Service by the staff deserves a 5. The place itself deserves a 4. But the cleanliness issues is a 3 at best. Price is unbeatable, though.

My husband and I found the perfect opportunity for a getaway during the quarantine period. We both availed of the 'hilot' massage and it was amazing. The 'hilot' - the Palawan rain stone therapy started my journey to relaxation, then the hot but soothing banana leaves on the back was mesmerizing. Even though new normal dictates no massage on head, arms and front of the body, I did not feel shortchanged at all. And my husband who requested for the strong and deep massage was fully-satisfied and is still sore after a day :D. As for dinner, he had turmeric chicken and I the Asian veggie curry which was so fresh. We also had the 'kakaibang' lumpia of mackerel. Everything had fresh herbs! I know that some people who are used to common tourist food will not enjoy Nurture's fare. But we did because it perfectly matched the place - a garden and a sanctuary providing wellness and good health, our main objective for coming over. By the way, do not forget the Basil Ginger tea-the best nerve soothing concoction after the massage and the dinner. We wanted to book for an overnight stay with the spa package but the dates of our travel were full online so I had to book the hotel somewhere else. Apparently, there were internet technicalities and Nurture was not fully-booked then :,( Nevertheless, I still tried my best to find their contact no. so I was able to book for a spa and dinner at late notice. If you are looking for a romantic and unforgettable, serene and healthy getaway, head over to Nurture. We're sure to come back for the full overnight package next time.

My sister reserved the room around October, since we are a family of 5 we chose the Allure as it has 2 bedrooms with dining area and kitchen. It was our first time to book at this hotel so I did not know what to expect. So the day before going there,I read some of the reviews, and it was really not encouraging as most of it was unencouraging. Still I was hopeful. We arrived around 11 am, so we knew that we were early. To pass the time we had lunch in their restaurant, Amancena. The servers especially Trisha was very attentive. The food is all right, we enjoyed the corned beef bulalo which was very tender. After an hour my sister asked the front desk if we can have an early check in since my Mom is already tired from the long trip, unfortunately, the guests have not checked out yet. And she was told that we have to wait for 2 pm since they are very strict with that policy. We did not mind and passed the time in the restaurant. When 2 pm came we promptly went to the front desk and my sister asked if we can now go to the room assigned to us. The front desk girl told my sister that there might be a delay because the previous occupant had a late check out because they were friends of the owner of the hotel so they cannot do anything about it. Time check at 2:15 we were still in the lobby, my other sister called for the manager, Ms. Tabuyo. Unfortunately for us,Ms. Tabuyo did not even sincerely apologize for what happened, her tone of voice when talking to my sister is conveying we are being unreasonable because we cannot wait for a room we PAID for. Instead of pacifying us, she made us more upset with her explanation as why the room is stiil not ready and why it was delayed. I met many hotel managers in the places we stayed in and I have high regards. But she was so disappointing because she made us feel like we were unreasonable. Going to the room itself, another disappointment, 2 bedrooms but only one cabinet. The other room is like an afterthought, and you are just suppose to leave your clothes in your luggage. Blinds of the windows not working, stove not working,so why put one?! One bathroom has a constant leak. We did not report anymore as we were disappointed already and the attitude of the manager was upsetting so we just know we will not be coming back. We charged it to experience. The silver linings to this experience are the bellboy who had continuously apologize for what happened. The waitstaff during the breakfast buffet,Ardel just like Trisha was very attentive and had continuously informed us of what can we eat during the breakfast service. Please train your front desk staff to be more accommodating and warm, they are NOT friendly and welcoming. Not recommending this place to anyone and will NOT even attempt to book here again.

The hotel is located four kilometers south of Tagaytay City, and the scenery is very good. However, the Filipino’s diet is very different from the Chinese. If you want to eat better, you can take a jeepney across the road to the center of the tower. The hotel restaurant window can overlook the entire volcano landscape.

The original book was on the first floor, there was no window. After staying for one night, I added 700 pesos for a second floor with a balcony to dry clothes. The volcanic lake can be seen on the lawn and by the pool. The scenery is good. There are not many types of breakfast. There is a restaurant on one side of the hillside, but the price is slightly more expensive because you can see the volcanic lake. Going out to the left hand side, there are SM shopping malls for a few minutes. Newly opened, there are not many shops, but there are supermarkets that are quite large. There is also McDonald's. There are Robinson in a few minutes. There are also supermarkets. After all, it is not a big city. There are relatively few stores. Going forward there is a playground. The hotel goes out to the right, it is best to do a tuk-tuk or jeepney, there is also a relatively large shopping center. There is a bus to all parts of Manila at the door of the hotel. Ask the front desk and tell you which one to take. Will also let the security help stop, the hotel is stopped by the door, not the terminus, the fare is very cheap 2 big 2 small, a total of 280 pesos, but not high speed, time is long, about 3 hours, many roads, distance also More than 60 kilometers. We have booked the volcano at the hotel. Within 5 people, no matter how adults or children, the cost of riding without horseback is 5,000 pesos, 2 horse riding, adults with children, a total of 2,000 pesos, children have to add money. Have a disposable mask. The horseback mat that the adult sat on was very thin. When it was down, the buttocks were worn out.

We stayed overnight at Anya Resort last June 2021. We had fun despite the initial disappointment that the swimming pool was closed. We were so looking forward to swim and relax at the pool. We had a senior and a minor in our group, the resort required an RTPCR test. We did the saliva RTPCR. My family enjoyed the resort's other facilities like the gym, mini archery, batminton and table tennis. The rooms were very modern, nice, clean, huge and has a veranda! The bathroom was extra huge! It has 2 sinks, rainshower and a bathtub. There was no contact check-in and check-out which were done in our rooms. The customer service was very good! They accomodated our request of a table inside our room where we can play mahjong at night. We were also so happy that they have sungka, which I requested to be brought inside the room. Breakfast was delicious. It was ala carte. They even gave us complimentary hot choco! Tip: Go on a weekday so there will be not much people. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Anya Resort. Thank you for the excellent service! By the way, Trip.com offered the lowest price for this resort! Thanks Trip.com!

When the door was opened, there was a serious musty smell. I don't know if the room is close to the swimming pool, so it is humid and musty. Turn on the air conditioner immediately and open the door to dissipate the smell. The facilities in the room are almost rudimentary, there is a kettle but no cups, and no free coffee and tea bags are provided in the room. There are no cutlery like knives, forks and spoons. The small refrigerator is empty. Another thing that is very unsatisfactory is that a room only has two bottles of mineral water a day! How to drink enough! All in all, the hardware facilities in the room are especially like high-end guest houses. Probably what Samsung looks like. But the bed was very comfortable and really comfortable, I was satisfied when I slept. If you open the curtains in the room next to the pool on the first floor, there is no privacy at all hahaha. So choose carefully. The pool view outside the balcony is great! You see people swimming clearly and up close, and of course the swimming people can see you in this way. The bathroom hair dryer is an old-fashioned hotel hair dryer, which cannot be moved and can only be dried while standing in the bathroom. The quality of toiletries is similar to that of the guest house. The tap water in the bathroom has strong water pressure, the shower flow is large and comfortable, and the temperature can be adjusted to be very hot. The breakfast is Filipino style, with less variety and good taste. There is no amazing place and nothing hard to swallow. Extra beds are not allowed during the epidemic. The stunning pool view is suitable for couples to take pictures on a date. The location of the hotel is very close to the playground, and the hotel is a concentrated area of local restaurants. There is parking lot. The decoration of the hotel really cannot look at the details, the only thing that can be highlighted is its biggest selling point-the pool view. The service is also alright.

Location of this place is very accessible to communting, walking distance to the mall and restos and yet has a great view of the taal lake. The hotel's design is very simple. I believe they only have 16 rooms on a 3-floor building. The 3rd floor is a roofdeck overlooking the Taal Lake which makes the guests' breakfast relaxing. Do not expect a hotel type buffet breakfast. It is very simple pinoy style but they serve kapeng barako which will really perk you up for the day. A cute sweet dog named Blue is a permanent resident in this place. It is a dog friendly hotel which I think why most of the staff have a very happy disposition. Chef William is very warm and accommodating. He even served me chicken tocino when the food on the buffet was running out. The room assigned to me was very small and very basic. When I say small... it is basically just a queen sized bed that occupies the 70% of the room. There are cable channels, strong wifi, bathroom heater and hotel slippers. I like their toothbrush because the handle is wooden! The hotel is eco friendly and so they do not use plastic packaging for their toiletries, they segregate wastes and they use glasses to refill drinking water. They have enough working area in the hotel lobby and on the 2nd floor. However, the area smells like really an old cabin which makes me sneeze all the time. Most guests are couples or family with either dogs or children with them. Parking in front of the hotel which is more convenient is limited. But they have also parking at the back. They allow double parking in front but it will be a hassle if the car owner in front of you leaves earlier than you are especially when you are still sleeping. They will wake you up to move your car. Generally this place is okay. The rate I got it for via Agoda is good. It is not cheap but it is just right. By the way, the hotel requires P1k cash deposit upon check in.

My wife and I went there on a weekday during the rainy season, last week of August. The place is like a large private property with villas for guests. It's like a secret hideout so you may have trouble finding the place. It's on the left side just right past Robinsons if you're coming from Manila. There is no sign so you have to slow down when you're near so you don't miss it. We were the only guest when we arrived. Their standard check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 12pm. We arrived a bit earlier and the receptionist was nice to see that the staff gets our room cleaned first so we can check-in early. The place is so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Before checking in they let you choose tomorrow's breakfast from the menu which can also be served in your room. You'll also get a complimentary white wine. The room looks clean and smells nice, sheets and pillows are clean. The view is so nice and like I said, it's so quiet that you can hear birds, insects and the howling wind. Our room has sliding doors that serve as its walls from the outside that you can open so you can turn it into like a balcony. Just make sure to close them when it's getting dark because insects may get inside the room. The bathroom is clean, too. They also have complimentary hygiene kits. There are lots of nearby restaurants so we went out for dinner. If you go here during the rainy season it gets so foggy you can't even see the road so you have to be very cautious when driving. There were dogs (yes, a number of them) in the compound when we were about to go out. Probably they let them loose during the night for security. I tried to call the reception around 5am-6am to see if I can order coffee however there are no staff available during wee hours. You can go to the nearest 7-eleven convenience store in SMDC which is like 300m from the place. Will definitely go back here and a place I didn't regret staying at. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and great service!

儘管如此,還是感謝Jayson(服務員)和Lorraine(前台官員)對我們這樣不滿意的客人的禮貌和耐心。

Spent three days and two nights to celebrate my birthday. I think it was great to see that the place was bustling just like the old days. Some comments below: Food - few selection but good enough. I wish there were more pastries. Room - clean and roomy. Great views! Service - staff were courteous and attentive Gym - did not have any tissue or paper cups for water.

We booked Tagaytay Wingate just a week ago before our scheduled post valentine getaway and at first we really don't expect xanything from it. Location - its a little bit far from the other establishment and we were just lucky we have our own car but the road going to and from some were underconstruction. Place - the place is decent enough it is just a 2 story building but it has other rooms near the swimming pool and I guessed some in the underground. The parking space is well managed but their security guard and the security is very well implemented by asking your name upon entrance to ensure you have booked them. Amenities - It has a swimming pool that we haven't utilizes because it was not heated and at that time it is not that clean. I love the complimentary massage in their massage room for me and my husband. That is the highlight of our stay. Room - our room is the deluxe type room with its own restroom,tv, ref, electric heater and aircon for the water. I love the cleaniliness of the restroom and the bed is so nice. We just we noticed there's some dust in the room and that I started to sneeze and eventually I got a flu and my husband got a colds. The receptionist is so kind enough to give me some paracetamol when I asked for it in the evening. Overall we had a good sleep in the room. Food - The food is great. We had this comparison with the breakfast buffet we had with this known restaurant in tagaytay wherein we ate breakfast prior checking in versus the breakfast served in the hotel, and we can say that the taste of food was way more delicious. As I can remember we had a buffet breakfast in their cafeteria and there are 6 to 7 viands to choose from plus rice, soap, coffee, bread, juice, fruits, simple vegetable salad. We really enjoyed the food most especially the famous brewed coffee. I will definitely recommend the hotel for those who wants to have a relaxing stay away from the city. We will definitely go back :)

Staying in a place with your fur baby is the most sweetest moment to have. Thank God, the owner allows pets in their place. The room is spacious and cozy with spanish style bed. Breakfast is so yummy specially the brewed coffee. Friendly staff will welcome you and entertain your needs.
