We are DVC and bagged a room at the VGC in early August. First thing- the building and lobby and overall vibe are beautiful. The bell person who greeted us was outstanding, Sorry didn’t get his name but he’s 50s, slim guy, and extremely talkative and helpful, the true ‘Disney Difference’ type employee. Check in was a very slow and lengthy experience although the lady was very nice. Queues at 3pm. This could be speeded up. Room wasn’t obtained until just after 4. We had a disappointing outlook room, ground floor, corner, facing directly at back entrance to Californian Adventure. Security guards stood around and no real barrier for privacy so never sat on patio. However, we realised the room had some advantages in that you could be in the park in about 40 steps. Room was nice enough. Would I pay over $1000 a night for it cash? Not worth it but booked on points. They are getting so they need a refurb although still in decent shape. It was all very dark though, perhaps not helped by room position in bottom corner of hotel. Craftsman’s bar was a bit disappointing for food. It was OK quality but very, very slow at coming out. Mine was comped. The bar itself with live music is lovely though and cocktails good. Pool is beautiful but at the same time disappointing. It’s disappointing because there are not enough sun loungers. This is partly due to Disney greed, who have turned over about a third of the already too small pool area to paying cabanas. This is partly due to lack of management. They are meant to have wristbands on people, but half did not have them and half the time there were no staff on the gate to put them on. I personally witnessed at 8am a family coming in the front of the hotel who didn’t seem to be staying there (very easy to get in despite needing a key card as the gate is constantly opened onto the sidewalk) who I saw walk into the pool area, they had no card and waited for gate to open and went in. Disney can see from the reviews on Tripadvisor this pool seating issue is a major problem. They need to do something about it. If that includes removing the cabana area and taking a hit on upcharges, they need to do it. They need to get really strict on pool management and wrist bands. When you are paying this much for a hotel, not being able to get sun beds is totally unacceptable. Shame as pool itself is lovely and live music even in the day. The characters also seemed to plead daily at around 4 pm for a pool party. Gym great. The DVC team here here we’re very nice people. Obviously location is fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the park. The rooms are large, clean and furnished with a holiday feel; basic necessities are also provided. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The rooms are dominated by pool views. Very nice! Our luggage can also be stored in the hotel, which is very convenient! !! For a family of up to Disneyland, this hotel is definitely the best choice!

This is our second time at the Camelot, and it was just as great this time (8 yrs later). We booked the ADA Family Suite because we were traveling with my 79 year old mother. I also had my daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. We booked with my husband's military discount but he had to back out of the trip. Michelle was great and was still able to get us a good rate. The suite was great. It was clean and spacious with two handicap accessible bathrooms, one with a tub, the other with a shower. The staff was so friendly, although they didn't clean rooms daily because of Covid, they checked on us daily and made sure we were stocked up on everything. The beds were so comfortable, which is vitally important when you've been walking all day in the park! One Stop Mobility (located on the bottom floor) was amazing and provided my mom with a nice scooter that made it possible for her to get to Disneyland easily. The laundry room (also on the bottom floor) was small (3 washers 3 dryers) but no one was there so it wasn't a problem. The pool was saltwater and not very warm but not freezing either, There is a hot tub also. I love the proximity of the hotel to Disneyland. It is very close which is so important when you have a bunch of tired kids who just want to get into a warm shower and sleep. There is also a 24 hr McDonalds right next door, and a Panera Bread right next to that for breakfast or late night snack.

If your going to Disneyland this hotel is perfect. Your just across from the entrance and closer than some official Disney hotels. It also has parking which I was really worried about. It was so close we could go back to the room for an hour at midday rest recharge phones and go back in. Will stay again if going to Disney. Only issue no hairdryer in the room and it can be a little noisy at night as people come back from the park.

The room was small, the front desk was very kind, and it was a bit cold in February. I wanted a quilt, but unfortunately, I had to ask for 2 more blankets. It is close to Disneyland, 5 minutes walk and a lot of restaurants. There is free parking. In the off-season in February, the parking space is sufficient, and the peak season is not clear.

We’ve stayed at this hotel for the last seven years, each time we go to Disneyland. It’s definitely cheaper than staying on the park’s property, and the walk is no more than 10 minutes. However, despite our family being loyal customers, we have stayed there for the last time, and won’t be returning. As I mentioned, yes, it’s cheaper to stay here than on Disneyland property, but don’t be fooled. It is by no means CHEAP, just CHEAPER. You are still paying quite a hefty price for what has, sadly, become a mediocre at best hotel. In all the years we’ve stayed here, the hotel, to my knowledge, has never been updated— and it shows. Unfortunately, the hotel is now on the shabby side. The rooms are small, as is the bathroom. Annoyingly, they no longer offer maid service each day, and have downgraded to once every third day. While I understand pandemic policies, we had JUST come from staying at the beautiful nearby Westin Anaheim, which does offer daily maid service. Next, a word on their air conditioning units. The last 2 times we’ve stayed, the units have been unbearably loud — so much so that at the height of summer, we opted to keep it off in order for us to be able to sleep. I asked to trade rooms, thinking we’d just gotten unlucky, but it seems each room has the identical problem. That goes back to the updates I feel the hotel needs to make. Lastly, unlike some of the other hotels nearby, there is no free continental breakfast. Look, Disneyland is expensive. A free breakfast would go a long way with guests. No need for it to be fancy— something small would suffice. As I mentioned, we also stayed at the Westin Anaheim this trip. It’s slightly more expensive, but it feels much more luxurious — and it’s nearly as quick to walk to the parks. That’ll be our choice from now on.

The Location of this hotel is awesome. The customer service is great. The room was clean and the bed was good. However the parking here is horrible. They have to move cars around so you can move your own . They are nice about it, but this is a huge inconvenience if you want to go anywhere you don’t have to walk to. Luckily we only had to move ours twice. The rooms are way to light at night. You might as well leave your lights on because it will seem like you did. The doors are not sealed correctly so light and cold air come through, luckily the air conditioner/ heater to work well. Also the no breakfast is a disappointment but it is what it is. We did not use the pool, it was to cold and rainy but it looked clean and decent.Overall if you are staying here for the location and a very easy walk to Disneyland you are good to go, If you are looking for better amenities this is probably not your hotel. I would stay here again for the location.

Rollaway beds are provided for older children who can sleep alone. The hotel is conveniently located next to Disneyland. The downside is that the hotel is not fast enough to sleep on the highway. In addition the hotel voltage is insufficient to boil water.

Even if the hotel didn't fully understand the language, it was nice because it responded with a smile. There was place to eat in the same building and was convenient. This time, the room I stayed on was on the second floor, but it was hard to carry because there was no elevator and the luggage was heavy. There was no heating in the room and it was very cold. Location is very good as it is quite close to Disney.

Since it is a hotel within the Disney Resort, it is convenient for traveling in the Disney Run Domain! Official hotel guests enter the park one hour in advance! The advantage is that you can ride it without lining up popular attractions! Also, since I stayed for 2 nights, if I was tired at the park, I think it was good to be able to rest at the hotel. There are no amenities such as slippers, gowns and toothbrushes. Meals went to the hotel or downtown Disney or in the park. Resort price. The nearest convenience store was about 20 minutes on foot. It's a bit far ... I wanted to stay again, but the price was high for me. I went lyft from the airport to the hotel.

Stayed here for a week while visiting disneyland with family. We had two rooms booked both on the concierge level (18). We arrived at the hotel early around 1pm and were surprised that both our rooms were ready for early check in. Spent time at the hotel enjoying the club lounge and pool that day. Hotel was busy with conferences going on and a convention going on at the convention center. It felt crowded but the hotel was properly staffed. We never had to wait for food, drinks, or elevators. It was only a 15-20 minute walk to Disney or a quick walk and bus ride over that picks you up right by the Hilton and drops you off right at the gates to Disney. The club level was open Monday-Friday for grab and go drinks/snacks 6:30am to 10pm and Saturday/Sunday for grab and go drinks/snacks 12pm to 10pm. Breakfast daily, appetizers in the afternoon, and deserts at night. Saturday/Sunday full breakfast buffet in the restaurant. The staff in the club lounge were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely return in the future.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms are spacious and clean with the added bonus of a sofa bed. Free parking and breakfast. They had a free shuttle bus to bus but this was a mini bus so not very big, we missed the first bus on our first morning and when it returned we thought we could get on but it didn’t leave for another hour so we decided to walk. It’s around a 20 minute walk to Disney. We would go to the parks early and return around lunchtime to chill in the room and go swimming to cool off and then back to Disney in the evening. Breakfast was good, a choice of toast, cereals, freshly made waffles, fruit, microwaveable muffins, tea, coffee and orange juice. A couple of downsides there’s a petrol (gas) station next door and you could hear people locking their cars ( US cars beep their horn when locked) also you can hear and feel the fireworks from Disney we found this out on our second night!!

My husband and I snuck away for a quick trip to Disney. It happened to be the weekend that Disneyland closed down so we didn’t get to fulfill the entire trip. We opted to fly home a day early as we didn’t have much else to do in the rain, during the closures of activities. We asked one of the young men at the desk if we could check out early, and what their policy was on issuing credits for nights. (We were ok if we had to lose the last night, as it was our choice to leave early, but was curious if they had any exceptions during the pandemic time.) The first young man we spoke with told us that since we booked with another hotel site, they couldn’t do anything and to contact them. With a 4 hour wait, we were gonna just take the loss. Upon checkout the next morning, the front desk was able to edit our stay and credit us back a night, without even mentioning how we booked and told us that with all that was going on, they would handle it on their end. It did take him a few hours to get it all handled, but we did not mind at all. We appreciated the help during a time that is out of all our control. Because of this hospitality, we would stay here again. The room smelled clean, and the bed was comfortable. I wish they had more blankets and pillows offered in their rooms but not a deal breaker. The free breakfast was ok, pretty standard but the coffee was good and that is truly what matters in the morning. 😊 The location is about a 20 min walk to the park, depending on route you take. We didn’t mind but at the end of the night it felt longer, but for the price, and being just two adults, we managed. We have stayed here before and have been overall pleased both times. We would book here again on any future Disney trips.

Breakfast is relatively simple, only cold milk coffee corn flakes banana bread, you need to make your own waffles, the other is gone. The location is good, very close to Disney and the Anaheim Convention Center. The front desk can store luggage and help arrange rooms away from the road. Only the hotel has to pay a deposit, credit card 50 dollars, said 3-5 working days to return, but after a long time have not received. Cash 100 dollars, if you check out before 7:00 in the morning, you can't return cash directly, especially unreasonable.

The hotel is relatively new, and the room environment and bedding are relatively comfortable, but the only thing that bothers me is that there are too many lint. After wiping the table for a while, a layer of lint is formed. This is a common problem in general hotels. Because of jet lag, I didn't order breakfast so I can't comment. The fee issue, the mandatory resort fee is 25 knives a day, and the valet parking seems to be less than 50 knives. These 25 yuan can be consumed in the hotel, and I always order a glass of wine to help me sleep. Location, it takes 18-20 minutes to walk to Disneyland. I didn't feel tired when I went in the morning, but the 20 minutes felt like an hour when I came out at night. No need to worry about walking safety at night. Two minutes away is the cheesecakefactory.

I feel that the hotels in this area of Los Angeles are relatively old and the prices are relatively expensive. The hotel's breakfast is not self-service and needs a single point. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Parking was free. There is free coffee in the room to brew and free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby every morning. We requested a refrigerator for slightly more money. We stayed on the 4th floor to minimize sound( good choice). We had a 15 min walk to Disneyland from room to gate. There is also a shuttle service ( for a fee), but we preferred to walk. The motel is near the Anaheim Garden Walk which has a lot of dining options, including The Cheesecake Factory. Someone else described the rooms as a youth hostel style. That description is very fitting. I brought extra sheets and pillows just in case I didn't want to use the motel's bedding. But the rest of my family did not have complaints about the bedding. If you are picky, then bring your own. We did not plan to spend time in the motel other than to sleep. If the motel cost more money I would have rating it lower. However, you get what you pay for. We preferred to spend our money in Disney, food , and entertainment. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Our stay was perfect.

Hands down one of the worst rooms I’ve ever been in. First, let me preface that I get the noise factor is somewhat out of the hotel’s control; it is on a busy road, so that did not factor in to my review. What they CAN control, however, is the shape of the room. I arrived late and tired, meeting the hubby there since he works nearby and we had early reservations at Disney the next morning. What I first noticed was the floor... dirt and junk all over, and sticky in places. But, I was planning on leaving my shoes on so I figured I’d live with it for a few hours. I then saw that the toilet was dirty but tried convincing myself it was just stained. Upon washing my hands I saw that the mirror had not been wiped down either. I called the hubby to warn him before he showed up, but since he was only 10 minutes away he decided to come see for himself. His first thought too was that it’s just a few hours... let’s try and get some sleep. He pulled back the covers on the bed, displaying a short, thick black hair (mine is long, thin and light). That did it... out we went. When I told the desk person and he verified our claim, he complained about having to give a refund because we “used” the room and now he can’t resell it. HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS DIRTY ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE?!?! Be warned... that could be your room!

【It was good point】 It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Angel Stadium, and I was very satisfied with the location for this accommodation price. The free breakfast had few items, but it was delicious. [Bad points] I had a hard time unlocking the door to my room, but after pushing it with a lot of force, it opened. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close, and I felt that it was poorly constructed overall. Also, the water in the toilet suddenly overflowed, which made me panic. (Are there any hotels in America?) [Overview] It's very close to Angel Stadium, and Disneyland is less than 10 minutes away by Uber. The staff was friendly and I had a comfortable stay even though I can't speak English. There may be some things that can't be helped because I was able to stay at a cheap price, but I would like the facilities to be improved.

It’s cheap in Los Angeles, and in the distance is the bustling Disney amusement park. One hour from Universal Studios, one hour from the beach, and one hour from Hollywood. There is hot water at the front desk and there is no breakfast. Good health. Parking is free and no appointment is required. A parking permit will be provided at the front desk and will be available in the car. I give a tip of 1 yuan a day. The big bag was placed in the house and the clothes bought from Ole were not lost. But in Los Angeles, you still have to pay special attention.

I called trip.com’s 24/7 service and didn’t expect to get a person but they picked up immediately and called the hotel immediately to clear everything up. It is our first time using trip.com. We will definitely use the service again. We needed a place to stay the night so didn’t spend much time in the room. It is a hotel room with the necessary amenities for a nights stay. We stayed at this hotel for the past 8+ years. Staff has always been so warm and welcoming. Rooms have always been great. Since the Ex General Manager Ray has left hotel has gone down hill. There was an incident that occurred during our stay in March. Management was fully aware of the situation with a new staff member. General Management was fully aware of the awful situation that occurred, never approached us or addressed our concern during our stay about the incident. I decided to write her an email when we arrived back home to reflect how the situation could have been handled differently. The general manager responded to my original email, but then refused to resolve the problem, and refused to respond. This is very unprofessional and I know for a fact would have never happened if Ray was still managing. I let her know we would not be staying there anymore. I will no longer be referring this hotel to any family, friends, social media, blog, etc. I have met the owner a few times and if he is reading this you should not be happy right now. You may think your hotel is running smoothly, and may look great while you come visit daily but that’s a fake perception. Loyal customers are leaving. My family has come for years, all your older staff who has been there for years are amazing. The staff who have recently been hired are doing a horrible job. Your new General Manager does not have enough experience to run this hotel, and if you plan to keep her as a GM you should really invest into hospitality, and conflict resolution classes. I know this was not just my experience. Listening to other families at the pool and bus stop during this trip who had a similar experience. They also voiced they would no longer be staying here because of how rude and hateful some of your new staff is. My family supported this hotel during the pandemic, and for many of years prior. We have always remained a loyal customers. Sad to say it’s time for us to move on and establish a new relationship somewhere else.

In fact, the hotel is still good. Our flight was delayed and we met the old Mexican legion. It was about four or five hours late. I called to the hotel to communicate and check in late. It was midnight at the hotel! Someone is waiting for us! The hotel is really noisy at the highway! That's right, because I don't want to close the window to sleep, so there has been a huge displacement of cars! !! But it's really like everyone said that the hotel has good breakfast with iced milk and donuts. I really love it. On the day I checked out, I was uncomfortable, so I asked my husband to go to the front desk to say that late check-out is also smooth, so basically It's okay, it's too noisy

We came here with my husband for work for a week, my first impression was good, after I spend one night it changed all. Beds are confortable, the room is clean where you can see it but...I couldn’t sleep till 3 am because in the room next to us I could hear absolutely everything, the talk, the laughs... We had to move the furniture to switch off the fridge because it was old and making a lot of noise, there is a strong noise coming constantly from the bathroom ventilation and we were super dress in bed as the room is freezing...the air comes from the space between the door and the frame 🤷🏻‍♀️ Location is good and there is many places you can go walking but you should bring some ear plugs if you want to sleep!

The hotel location was good. But the service was just horrible. I go in the room and there was no remote to the television. I asked them for another piece of remote and it did not work as well so I was not able to watch television. Second beside my room there was a dog that kept barking during the night so I called front desk to call that room but nothing happened. And the next day, all the front desk was I’m sorry.

Rollaway beds are provided for older children who can sleep alone. The hotel is conveniently located next to Disneyland. The downside is that the hotel is not fast enough to sleep on the highway. In addition the hotel voltage is insufficient to boil water.

Margarita was very friendly helpful and pleasant. We enjoy the facility. My only complaint is the noise from the street but I’ll request a pool facing room next time. I’ve stayed there twice and I think I’m Over the firework view. Front desk staff was very nice.

Hotel was very nice and staff was very helpful and friendly. The ART bus stops directly in front of the hotel making access to the parks very easy. You can also choose to walk which we did the first night but the ART bus is worth the $6 per day (or $16 for 3 day pass). Also had breakfast one morning at the restaurant which is a much better option than eating at the parks.

We stayed to watch the Angels and go to Disney. Walking distance to both. It was very nice to clean the front desk. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is very delicious! It's hard to say, but the Mickey-shaped waffles made by cutting fruits and myself were popular. I would like to stay at the Cambrian Hotel when I go to Anaheim again.
