      This was a simple stop point as part of the trip. . Everything was well handled. Friendly staff and operation according to local standards (not west). A little isolated if you stay there. The view is great and there is a swimming pool. I recommend this property.

      Trinco Blu By Cinnamon definitely lives up to its name and ticks all the boxes. We were so delighted by our resent stay in this hotel. Three great nights stayed with the family, the service was outstanding and the location was perfect. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the Indian Ocean Our heartfelt thanks to all the staffs, particularly Front Office Manager Paul Benedict who was amazing and did a great job for us. Special thanks to Guest Services Manager Iresha Fernando, she was unbelievably helpful. We had to face a minor medical emergency, then Iresha has stepped in and guided us extremely well. She also served us in a very polite manner. We really appreciate her. Head Chef Saman also helped and guided us during the medical emergency along with Iresha, even though it wasn’t part of his responsibility. Much appreciated his kind heart Food was absolutely brilliant, credit goes to all the chefs Exactly what we all wanted and all of us were extremely happy and it was well worth it Can't wait to be back soon hopefully!!!!!

      Property is located in a very scenic setting. Lovely place to relax. Nature at its best. Gorgeous views of the sun rise. Though visit was during off season (early Nov) sea bathing was good. There was no jelly fish . sea **** was floating in some areas of the Water though. Access to the beach is a walk through the side of the property . The door locks in the rooms blends well with the architecture but is at times a try due to its daintiness. Sadly the place is in need of a good scrub and clean out. Linen needs attention. Western food was good. Eastern is also available. My choice of room is the Upstairs . Rooms Number 2&3 have better sea view. 1&2 have more shade in the balcony and are the two corner rooms .Both if them have slighty restricted sea views due to the trees. There seem to be more (downstair) rooms under construction. Deva at the desk is very helpful. Not very fluent in English. Suggest using Google Translator.

      Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes Trincomalee

      We had the most relaxing tranquil honeymoon here at Jungle Beach, a very literal name as we stayed in our own very spacious cabin surrounded by the jungle and we could walk down our very own path to the hotel's private beach in under a minute. We loved the outside shower facility and the privacy. We wanted to take a break from our hectic lives in the UK and we it was so easy to do. It was the wet season and therefore quite quiet at the hotel but there were still plenty of staff about to help and they were helpful! We were waited on wherever we were, our room, the beach, the pool but also left to our own devices in between. The staff even invited us to learn how to cook, we were able to choose from a number of different local curries and Rathna Kamara (the chef) taught us the local way. He was fantastic and we had so much fun that we did a second class just two days later learning how to make paneer breads and side dishes. We only spent one day away from the resort... We headed to the nearby town of Trincomalee on a tuktuk and visited a few temples and bought our own earthenware inspired by our cookery classes. We would both highly recommend Jungle Beach with it's relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay one to remember - even down to the homemade banana smoothie that was waiting for me at 4.30am when we left the hotel!
