1. According to a young and new receptionist, the hotel's owner doesn't allow unmarried couple to stay in the same room or even same hotel, so I had to stay alone in Radisson Blu for 2 nights while my boyfriend stayed in another hotel. When I asked the room rate if my boyfriend joins me on the second night, I was asked by the receptionist if I'm married, if I have same last name with my boyfriend, if my boyfriend is Turkish ... this kind strange questions like an interrogation, which I didn't feel comfortable 2. On the website of this hotel, it includes spa and fitness service, the reality is, even though the spa and fitness facilities are good in this hotel, they rent this business to local business which is not a part of this hotel, they don't speak English, they are not trained for hospitality (rude and unfriendly), they are late for work. 2 mornings I arrived the spa and fitness centre when it's supposed to be open, it was dark with nobody. I had to ask the receptionist to call them to come to work, after 1 hour, a worker woman arrive with unpleasant attitude. I booked a massage for 1pm, they told me the masseuse would arrive at 6pm, at the end 6:30, this masseuse finally arrived but with also bad attitude like they are forced by someone to come and work. I chose this hotel because of the facilities, but I couldn't relax, they made me feel like because I'm there they have to work. 3. This is the last and main reason I want to file this complaint. And older receptionist, I remembered he was working between 6pm to around midnight on 3rd of September. Around midnight, the 2nd night I stayed, I went to reception to ask to charge my phone as I didn't find any USB plug in my room, this older receptionist said there are USB plugs in my room, so I went back to check in my room, but I didn't find, so I called again the reception to ask where it is I couldn't find. This older receptionist said:"I can come to your room to help" Which is very weird! Unmarried couple can't stay in same room but a receptionist guy can come to a woman's room? I said:"no I'll go to reception again to put my phone there for charging" When I arrived the reception, I saw that this older receptionist is finishing his shift, and the young and new receptionist is starting the night shift, this time I questioned in my mind the older receptionist's intention about coming to my room for USB when he is actually finishing his shift. This made me feel very disgusted and unsafe in an international hotel like Radisson Blu. My stay in Radisson hotels in other countries were always pleasant, I have never encountered anything close to what I've experienced in Radisson Blu Diyabakir. What I want for compensation for this traumatizing experience: 1. I want to request a full refund. For a total of 840 Turkish Lira for 2 nights. 2. if Radisson Blu Diyabakir is not accepting unmarried couple in a same room or same hotel, they need to state this honestly on their website. 3. Stayed 4 days in November 2019 sightseeing the city. The hotel is new and has only been open 5 months. It is in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the city walls and so very convenient for sightseeing. There is a small taxi rank just across the road from the hotel. All the facilities in the hotel are first class. My room was large with very big bed and very comfortable for sleeping. All the furnishings were as brand new. The room included a fridge with minibar. The ensuite bathroom was immaculately clean and finished to a very high standard. The hotel staff on reception can speak very good English. Checkin was easy and fast. Breakfast was superb with a very large range of choices, enough to please even the fussiest of eaters. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and were a credit to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel very highly to anyone visiting Diyarbakir. It really was a very pleasant stay for me and I enjoyed it immensely. It is a top-notch 4* hotel in every respect. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel.
