We booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you👍🏻

Excellent! Everything is perfect. The room is spacious with beautiful scene of paddy field. Other facilities also are great. Only the breakfast need to bigger the portion as malaysian breakfast may not be enough for one person.

The hotel was old and had a smell to the room. The toilet was not very clean. The room for the price paid was not worth it. In the end, we requested for a change of room. This room had a leaking rain shower. The only good thing about this stay was the front desk personnel who was very polite and gracious about the whole issue.

The location of this hotel is a bit biased, far from the Penang airport, the taxi will take nearly 2 hours, close to another airport. Because the customer has booked this hotel online, it is a bit like the domestic 7-day interlock hotel, no disposable supplies such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc., a little inconvenient. I mainly stayed for one night on a business trip, so I will be there.

I booked a room at this hotel from India, through my travel agent, for my short stay of two days at Alor Setar, and have no cause to regret my choice. It's not the most modern of hotels, but the room was clean, though the staff needed a bit of pointing out regarding the maintenance of the bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and helped me arrange my taxi for a visit to a smaller town and village towards the Thailand border, and helped in my negotiations with the taxi driver. The restaurant was good, with quality Malay cuisine and some Western desserts. there was live Malaysian music in the restaurant at mealtimes, because it was a weekend.

This was definitely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My daughter and I stayed a night here for her national cross country race, and so did all the other athletes for the other states. My daughter and I shared a room however some states packed seven to a room. Due to this factor, all the water supply was cut off. The toilet wouldn’t flush and it was absolutely revolting. I won’t go into detail about it but you can imagine how disgusting it was for us two, let alone seven people. The tap water had turn brown, the showers managed to just about work on the first day however after my daughters race in about 36° heat she wanted to cool off with a cold shower but who could have guessed? The shower didn’t have any water. I had to rush to 7/11 to get a massive bottle of water and just pour it over her whilst she tried to shower. It was really just unbelievable and this is supposedly meant to be a 4 star hotel. The hotel staff looked so depressed getting absolutely hammered with all the complaints, especially the cleaning staff who knew the sickening job they had ahead of them. Right now, I’m questioning the management as to why they have allowed so many people to go into a room, knowing that it would lead to such a barbaric situation. I really can’t express how happy I am to get out of that hotel, it was really just appalling!
