We were driving up from Spain back to the UK and booked this Ibis. Not only was it easy to find, we easily managed to park right outside the reception! The staff were super friendly, giving us a bottle of water on arrival. We opted to eat at the hotel as we were tired and the food was outstanding! Probably one of the best steaks we had ever eaten and incredibly well priced. We got ourselves some supplies in as the hotel shares a car park with a small supermarket which was super handy. We slept well and check out was a breeze. If you need somewhere lovely, convenient and easy, this is the hotel for you!

A delightful stay at this excellent hotel. We stayed in a family room, my wife, daughter and I. Stopover after a long drive. The welcome was friendly and professional, checked in and to our room in just a few moments. The room was spacious, well equipped and elegantly decorated to a high standard. Beds very comfortable. Very quute at night too. Close to the town that deserves an explore. Reception will give you a map and advice. Parking is outside or very local and not a worry. All in all a delightful surprise and find.

This charming hotel may be lost on some due to the Best Western part of the name. In our experience, BW has added some of the most charming European hotels to their brand. This one is no exception. Pictures of the original property, before it became a hotel, are on display in a glass case in the lobby. The rooms are large and super comfortable. There is a very small fridge filled with cold drinks for purchase. Along with the pant presser there is an iron. The bathroom is small but the toilet is separate from the shower making it easier to get ready faster and out exploring this charming city. Since we visited during an extreme heat wave, we were happy to find the A/C worked exceptionally well! The location is great for exploring the town and easy to get to. There is secure garage parking for an additional small fee but well worth it. (Be sure to reserve a spot in advance as there are only 8.) The staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending a restaurant and securing a reservation. The breakfast buffet provided a good selection. Hard-boiled or soft boil your own eggs, toasts, meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, yogurts and juices Be sure to try Le Bourbonnoux for dinner! Fabulous meal (see restaurant review).

We stayed here for one night on tour of France. The hotel is a fair distance out of the town, so when we checked in we were disappointed to find that there was NO bar and NO food offering of any sort. Having travelled fo most of the day we ended up having to leave our luggage and go straight back out to arrange diner and get a drink. That said the hotel dod arrange a taxi for us. As for the room, it was fairly old fashioned and a bit dirty to be honest. The bathrooms have been recently refurbished but the sleeping area was tired and dirty. Nice staff, but would not return

We stayed at this hotel in late July and early August 2020 as it is about half way down France and convenient as an overnight stop when driving to and from Northern Spain. The rooms are quite tired but we found the double bed comfortable enough. They have a nice little outside area with a few table & chairs right next to the ample private carpark. We bought 2 (1/2 litre) beers and were quite disgusted when they charged us 15 euros. These beers were more than London nightclub beer!! For this reason we decided against having dinner in their restaurant as we thought it would also be very overpriced. We did take the breakfast which was quite resonable for the price. I think each breakfast was between 6-8 euro. Another good point for the hotel is that they have a very large Llidl right next door so on the way back we bought our own beers instead of buying theirs!! The rooms on the ground floor are quite good in that they have doors to the outside area. There was no plug for the sink in either direction and on the way home there was a notice telling you not to use the broken hair dryer!!

We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor, with a fabulous balcony. The room was impeccable – everything luxurious and comfortable. We had an extra bed for our son for € 20. Note: there is a lift only to the first floor and one flight of stairs to get up to our room. We parked on the street outside which was free after 5pm until 9am, as there is limited parking for the hotel (reserve well in advance). The owner who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful, providing recommendations for drinks and dinner. The hotel has a selection of excellent wines and local produce. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional, with homemade cakes, crumbles and local jams. Perfect stopover.

Most importantly, our room was much better than those we have had in other budget hotels: spacious, big and comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, quiet and efficient a/c, recently renovated/decorated and very clean. Only reservation is the shortage of storage for clothes (a rail and two very high shelves not suitable for anyone of average height!), but not a real problem for 1 or 2 night stay. Secure car parking for €7, good value in city centre. Included breakfast served in more expensive sister hotel opposite: a very good and varied cold buffet with boiled eggs. A few weaknesses lost the 5th star: reception is in hotel opposite (could have been informed on booking?), this and the location of the parking caused three drives around the block! No lift: we just had an overnight bag, but shifting suitcases up 3 flights of quite awkward stairs from the car park would have been difficult for anyone.

Very nice hotel, very large rooms and very comfortable. The hotel has been recently modernized and repainted, and there was still fresh paint here and there. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms without a window (most French hotel appear to miss one, I wonder why), there was no sound coming from the nearby train station. A very nice place to rest in. We haven't tried breakfast so I cannot review it. Overall I highly recommend the place. Nice, friendly staff.

Kindness, smile, reactivity, this little hotel is a practical spot no too far from to the cathedral. We enjoyed the little garden and the pool. the neighborhood is quite plain, but calm. We walked to the astonishing cathedral, visited the ancient streets and the very beautiful museum "Hôtel Lallemand" witha special exhibition about Leonardo Da Vinci.

This was a modern, clean hotel suitable for an overnight stay between Paris and the south. The rooms although small are comfortable and clean. They are also quiet, have a large tv and reasonable size bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by a range of restaurants that cater to most budgets, including takeaway for those wishing to purchase lunch for the onward journey.

FIRSTLY, I AM TOLD ONLINE THAT THEY ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS (I COLLECT MY AIR MILES) THEN WHEN I CAME TO PAY THEY SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CARD SO I USED VISA. AFTERWARD I PHONED AMEX AND THEY SAID THIS OFTEN HAPPENS. THE HOTEL WILL SAY THEY TAKE AMEX WHEN THEY ACTUALLY DON’T SO THAT YOU SPEND SO LONG MAKING THE BOOKING ANYWAY, YOU USE YOUR VISA CARD! FIRST BAD MARK.! Well It started out quite well! After an eight hour drive we arrived at our hotel where we were met by a very nice receptionist. She kindly changed our room to one facing the car park so we could keep an eye on our full car. We booked dinner for 7pm took our stuff to the room which was pleasantly cool thanks to decent air conditioning. Then decided to go to the bar and get a nice cool Heineken which was advertised. Hold on to your seats folks! Here we go. I said, We will sit outside. The receptionist said, ‘No No Sorry, you can not’ So I ask why? Her reply after a short panicky stutter was, ‘Because it is too hot!’ Well, I thought, I will be the decider of that, so we went outside into the seating area. After falling over the cobbled path in bad need of repair, we reached about four rusty old tables, and a half a dozen rusty and battered old chairs which obviously were unusable and had not not been for years and a lawn lamp swinging off the stand. So we went back inside. There was a small table in the bar with very hot lights shining right on it, we asked if they could turn off the light and it was then that the heat had got to her and she started being ‘not so nice’ we were told she didn’t have a ‘key’ to turn them off??? That there was no air conditioning downstairs in the public areas at all so it was impossible to sit there for more than a minute, hubby walks through into the restaurant area where there is an empty table next to window blowing a nice breeze. We order two large Heineckens, paying seven Euros forty each for them and walk toward the air! She who must be obeyed is not finished! No No No she says! You cannot sit there! That is the restaurant! You must take the beer to your room! By this time I had seen that the beer was cloudy and having tasted it, it was sour and definitely not Heineken! So I tell her, she then admitted it was from an old pump which needed changing and was a local cheap French beer! it wasn’t even Heineken! She poured one glass from a different pump which was awful but she would only refund for one beer because she said this one was OK! We immediately cancelled dinner whereupon she relented and said we could sit at the airy table. We said not with this terrible beer! and went to our room where upon closer inspection, we saw that the toilet flush was broken and the bottom of the shower was manky! Lastly, We told her we were leaving very early but there was no-one on duty and no key drop so we ended up moving an advertising sign onto the reception desk with our key underneath! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE TH
