      1. very far from station. 2. your will think you are in Africa or India but not in Paris. 3. Very dangerous area, you can see many gangsters on the street. 4. The bar downstairs is extremely noisy, it is impossible to sleep until 1 am. 5. Room is huge, but layout quite strange.

The area is very dangerous and as the hotel is down as a side street, as two girls we felt quite uncomfortable walking there. Rude service on reception, we attempted to speak French (didn't want to be the annoying Brits who expect everyone to be English) but the man just didn't care and didn't really help us. Finally got checked in, went up the old rickety stairs to the tiny room, our window was broken and smashed. The rooms were not soundproof. Left to find somewhere to eat that evening and a different member of staff advised us not to leave the hotel and if we did to be careful because it's dangerous for us (he was nice and we appreciated that). The stay in general was underwhelming but for the price I wasn't expecting much. If it was in a better area I wouldn't have minded, but we were put off staying out too late because it was scary to walk back to in the dark.

My partner and I booked this hotel for our short holiday to Paris. We arrived and from our walk to the hotel from the metro station what we saw was dirty and not inviting at all. There was rubbish all over the streets. We arrived at the hotel and had one hour to wait until check in which was fine. I went to use the toilet in the breakfast area, I nearly had to straddle the toilet to get in, there was no toilet paper, no soap and no towel which is not up to even basic standards. What we saw of the breakfast area was dirty and it was dark and small. The area to eat breakfast was again small (about 3 tables for everyone). We were told when booking that there would be somewhere to securely put our luggage before check in and after check out. The secure location was in the corner of the communal seating area (also the 3 tables of the breakfast seating area) so anyone could access our luggage and take from our bags. Although we were not very comfortable with this and did not feel welcomed by the external environment we decided to go get baguettes and eat them in the local park. We walked through the park which had security guards throughout and again felt very unwelcome as we were being watched. We walked through the park and decided to sit in the children’s play area as this felt the safest for us to eat. When we sat down we could smell someone smoking **** the other side of the fence. The security guard then asked us to leave the child’s area as it is not for people without children. Which did not help the situation. For anyone on holiday this environment was not nice particularly in the winter months where it is dark much of the time. We left the park and told the hotel we did not want to stay at the hotel and had booked another. We had to book one hotel for that night and another one for the next 3. We had to spend much of our holiday running around Paris with suitcases. We were told by the receptionist that the manager would be back in an hour who could deal with our complaint and give a refund. I was told to email with a list of my issues and return to discuss with the manager. I did so but advised we would not be returning to waste any more of our trip and time. I received a response the next day stating that the external environment was not their responsibility and ignoring all of my previous issues identified and that was that. I immediately replied explaining all of the above and I have sent a follow up email as I am yet to receive a response to my email over a week ago!!! Do not visit this hotel. Everything was so awful we refused to even see the room and we have now spent over £400 in hotels and the £230 we paid is being refused to be refunded even though we have not used ANY of the services or products or even seen our room!

So Hôtel was located walking distance to Paris Gare du Nord train station, so if you have a train to catch and you are just passing by it’s a great choice. I am not much sure about the neighborhood cause we arrived in the evening and left early in the morning. The whole area is busy with people, well, it’s a train station area. People at the reception were nice, spoken English. Reception and room are in two different buildings just two doors apart so don’t be confused. It’s easy and they will direct you. Room was small but warm and clean. So was the bathroom. We had clean towels, some cups , tea kettle. Bed was comfortable. They left some ear plugs in case of the noise, and it did get a bit noise over the night, but I guess these things are normal for a hotel. At least they thought about that and left earplugs. Elevator is small as many people said, and stairs are spiral, but so are elevators and staircase is even the most fanciest neighborhoods in Paris. Deal with it! I recommend this hotel, it was definitely worth the money.

Before booking I read some very bad reviews, but as we traveled with friends the price for being very low compared to other places in Paris was decisive for the choice, unfortunately the choice was the worst I have ever made in every way, the place is horrible , the neighborhood is quite heavy, it is quite scary, the hotel is very dirty, the bathroom looks like a bus station, dirty toilet that the water got dark, to take a shower you had to turn the shower on and off because it was so clogged that we had to shower with the water in the ankle and overflowing out of the shower and there was still a black plastic curtain that could not be closed because otherwise there would be no light inside the shower, they gave us the dirty room, a very strong cigarette smell, deplorable bedding and the bath towels were actually face towels, I don't even have words about this place, believe me don't go to this place and there's one more detail there is no elevator and we stayed on the fifth floor.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

I stayed here with my sister during our holiday in Paris and I can say I was very happy with the choice made! Two-step structure from Moulin Rouge and its metro, 10 minutes walk from MontMartre , a spacious area, open mainly at night, a starbucks in front of the metro stop, then brewery, poke, hamburger, locals for all tastes + a large supermarket (also exactly at the out of the metro). Reception h24 - a little date structure, small stairs and a little uncomfortable but essential room, small, a small closet and a mirror, but for the location and price, for two girls is super recommended! I never had the feeling of being in a bad area, at the evening of a full-fledged, but quiet, and not new, but also here, for the price it is fully presentable and useable. The only sin (which was not a problem for us) is that at night it is not a quiet area, just not having light sleep problems and nothing to revert. The phone and telecommand of the TV are to be requested at the reception. As far as we are concerned, super recommended!

Stayed at Hotel Panache for a week at the end of February and had a great experience. Sophia and the reception staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. It is is a great location, within walking distance of Montmartre, Opera Garnier and the big department stores, the Louvre/Palais Royale and other popular areas, as well as very close to Grands Boulevards metro. Yes the rooms may seem small etc. by North American standards as per some other reviews, but don’t forget you are in Paris in a 19th century building and the rooms are comfortable and charming. It was an amazing base for a week of adventures around the city. Also excellent restaurants, bakeries, shops in the area everywhere you turn, and pharmacies within a 5 minute walk where you can have your vaccine certificate converted into a passe sanitaire (on the corner of rues Cadet and La Fayette). We will definitely return, à la prochaine!

For us, as a family we decided for the first time to book apartment hotel, rational , multiple rooms as traveling with kids , bigger Space overall , all in one apartment rather then separating in two rooms hotel , price for location Location of This place is unbeatable , 1 min form famous chance Elise, metro station , walking distance from rest of main attraction in Paris , restaurants from all kind all around. Further more the beds were very comfy , clean , WiFi excellent , staff were great ! ... the only thing I will mention is that there is one bathroom in this apartment , so for a family it might be challenging sometime , beside all was great , if going to Paris defiantly will return

Our room was absolutely tiny and looked nothing like the pictures. The shower had mould around the screen and the bathroom could barely fit one person standing. Breakfast was minimal, freshly cooked croissants was a huge plus but other than that, very little variety and not very fresh, the pineapple looked on the turn and the cheese and meat looked straight from a supermarket packet. Fortunately we weren't there for the hotel but still, it wasnt cheap for two nights and I had expected more.

I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V!

Stayed here for a June trip to Roland-Garros, and the location was ideal, between 15th & 7th. Good metro stops, restaurants, market. The price is a little higher than listed but that's true for any place nearby this time frame. And the comfort of the room made up for it. The proprietors are wonderful, great service, nice breakfast. To our surprise, when we left behind an inexpensive hat, they mailed it to us in the Languedoc at no charge. Thank you!

About 500 meters from the subway station, the second last station on the 4th line, belonging to the subway line 1 area, buy the cheapest 1.9 subway ticket to the major attractions in the city of Paris (recommended to buy 10 a book at a time, an average of one Zhang 1.49), triple room, the room is quite small, only one box can be opened, the shower room and the bathroom are separated, the bathing room is not wrong, the bath room is too small, and the water leaks out, but the price is also in Paris. Can't ask too much. Breakfast 6 euros a person, croissants are delicious, there is a tram next to the subway station, a few stops to the Chinese area, there are many Chinese restaurants, but the Chinese area is more chaotic, more black people, more drunks, after eating black It’s better to go back to the hotel.

The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. We didn’t know when someone had taken a bag and was stolen some cash. One person ran back sweating and said that he saw someone taking our bag and he was chasing it back. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it. Although there are a lot of French policemen around the market looking at the market, everyone said it was useless. . In Paris, I really want to remind all of you who have just come, pay more attention.

I got there by chance. First room too noisy with the metro. Then I was shown a higher room and the noise from the metro was far away so I slept well. Convenient for a weekend in Paris.

The hotel is a boutique. The space is small, but relatively delicate. The hotel is ideally located, 10 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette department store and 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge. It is a quiet place. The room is slightly smaller and it is clean and clean. Breakfast is located on the basement level and the food is relatively simple but tastes good. The hotel is small and old but has an elevator. A common area on the ground floor is available for rest and waiting for hotel procedures and free refreshments. Overall, the hotel “small but small”.

Second time staying at the Ibis Bercy village and didn’t disappoint. Value for money hotel in a great location, enhanced by a recent interior refurbishment. Management is welcoming, service quick and efficient. if you only want a base to explore Paris or nearby, the rooms are basic but well laid out, with a great shower and comfortable bed. My stay was to participate in the Paris Half marathon, the nearby Metro station and food venues in Bercy Village made the Ibis an ideal choice. Continental breakfast was included and great start to each day. Pastries, fruit, bead, eggs, yoghurt, fresh juice, tea, coffee and cereal. There’s a small Carrefore five minutes walk away, lots of food options nearby though the alibis also has food and a small bar. Premier league football available on the TVs upon request. If you walk twenty minutes under the rail tracks, Bercy has plenty of great eateries, shops and bars. I’d recommend the local cheese shop!
