Hotels Near Don Toro In Lagos
0.12km from Don ToroI'm sorry but I just didn't like this place. I'm a Hostelling International member and have been hostelling for about 10 years now ... this location doesn't live up to today's standards. It is quite old and dated, the rooms were very cold, no heat, the mattresses were old, soft and worn out, pillows and linens too. The common room was nothing more than a pool table surrounded by wooden benches with some old cushions to try to make them more comfortable. The bathroom door had no lock, the showers stalls had no doors. The kitchen was barely equipped, no kettle, the pans were old, warped, pitted aluminum, only a few utensils. And nothing looked clean. Breakfast was passable but very institutional. The location is good and the staff were generally fine but I would definitely recommend making another choice. There are plenty of other hostels, far better than this one.
0.13km from Don ToroWe stayed at this hotel in September 2019. The hotel is a true 3* hotel so don't expect anything more. Having said that, the staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms served their purpose and were comfortable. Based on the other reviews, the elevator never worked for them but it was working just fine when we stayed there. The breakfast in the morning is as you would expect...eggs, breads, some fruit, coffee machine, juices. Was an ok breakfast to start your day. They do have a room for the physically challenged which was quite large. We stayed in this room the first night as the room we got when we checked in only had one bed and it was me and my dad. While I love my dad, I wasn't about to share a bed with him :-) The best part about this hotel was it's location. It was close to everything and it was amazing to just sit on the balcony and watch the world pass below us. It got very busy and noisy at night time as that's when all the people come out for dinner and drinks. The air conditioning worked fine as well. As for a room with a balcony on the street side so that you can sit on the balcony and have a beer and watch people. Parking was an issue as they only have a few spots in front of the hotel. If you don't get a spot there, you will have to drive around the narrow streets to find another spot. There are some parking lots about a 5-10 minute walk away. If I was to visit Lagos again (which I really want to), I would stay here again.

A beautiful place to meet other travellers as there were many hang out areas! The place was really lovely, communal and relaxed. Much love for this place and would easily go back!

0.65km from Don ToroCame to Marsol very last minute when traveling through Lagos. We actually begged to stay at the end of our 3 days because we loved it so much. The place is located a short walk down the road to all the shops and restaurants. There is a grocery store with in a 3 minute drive and all the amazing Lagos beaches are within 5 minutes. The family that runs the motel is simply charming and went out of their way to try and accommodate our stay. Although an older building, the apartment is kept clean and in impeccable shape. The set up of the apartments makes it seem like a small neighborhood. People sitting out front of their apartments drinking wine and taking in the cool Lagos air. The apartment and area would be a great place for couples and families to do an extended stay. The pool area is great and stays sunny in the summer far into the evening. I will come back here for sure next time I am in Lagos...but I will be sure to book a head so I can stay much longer!

Hotels Near Don Toro In Lagos Review
A few minutes walk to the beach, a very quiet place, suitable for getting up early, you can watch the stars and seabirds. The waiter is very kind, if you have the opportunity to come again, you will definitely stay here.
We were excited about this place when we booked it, and it turned out to be better than expected! We stayed for 4 nights in late October (which was delightfully quiet and peaceful, yet with flowers still in bloom) in room #10 on the second floor, in the main villa property. First impressions: our room was beautiful and spacious. We were delighted by the tasteful decor, gorgeous wood furnishings, and balcony with a fantastic view, which made for a great place to enjoy the complimentary and nicely-chilled bottle of wine. Walking to and from our room was a delight in and of itself, with the property's meandering walking paths, pool/lounge areas, foliage, and singing birds. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, with plenty of local foods (and pastries, omg) and good coffee in a relaxing setting. Best of all, the location of this property was perfectly situated for us, as we planned to do a lot of walking and hiking around the area. We chose not to rent a car, which may not be the right call for some but worked out perfectly for us. As long as you're up for a decent amount of walking, you can get to a ton of beaches, trails, restaurants and the downtown area from this villa, and you can call an Uber anytime if needed. The streets around the villa aren't equally lit up at night, but it never felt unsafe to me. We absolutely loved this place and we would recommend it in a heartbeat -- and definitely plan to come back!
My parents were here for May and June of 2019. I arrived and stayed for the month of June. I stayed in the newer building. My parents stayed first in the older building and then in the newer one. This hotel was so restful to someone who works all the time like myself, and the staff were all so kind. The breakfasts were amazing. The place was spotlessly clean. My father had an illnessl at the time, and has recently passed away, but I will treasure the memories of our breakfasts and long morning conversations. My parents headed north to Lisbon after their stay here, but they always missed the comfort of Solar de Mos. (Patricia M.)
We had a very warm welcome at the hotel Unfortunately we arrived 25 minutes prior to the official check in time. We had to wait those 25 minutes which is a bit to inflexibel. On the bright side we could use the pool while we waited ! The staff was very friendly and it was close to the beach ! We were a little surprised about the non existing bathroom in our room and had to share with a few other rooms. But we just didn’t read the description very carefully when we booked. What really bothered us the most was the noises. You could hear every door and every footstep or voice as if it was right next to your ear! So our sleep was a bit disturbed. All in all though I must say that it was quite a nice hotel with a fair price. I would totally recommend it for a short stay. A longer stay is in my eyes impossible because of the noise and the interrupted sleep.
Fantastic room, pool, food and staff. Room was spacious, cleaned regularly and with effective (and quiet) air con. More than adequate kitchen facilities for half board. Pool was great for kids (mostly shallow) indoor pool was good when the sun was getting too much. Staff were all fantastic. Reception had packed lunches ready for our late arrival and happily let us into our room when we locked key in. Restaurant staff were particularly helpful. Food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Location is 5 mins walk from mos beach. 7 min drive to Lagos. 5 min drive to supermarket (too hilly to walk with shopping). All in all would definitely recommend and come back again.
We stayed here for four nights at the end of August/beginning of September and I have nothing but praise for this great hotel. The staff are friendly, accommodating and so helpful. We had a possible issue where we thought we may have to leave a day earlier than planned and the lady on reception was so helpful in offering to speak to the manager and get it sorted for us - luckily we didn’t need to leave early but we were so appreciative of the help. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are modern and have everything you need. Rooms cleaned everyday even during the current pandemic. The rooftop pool is small but even with the hotel being full, we were the only ones up there on a few occasions. Breakfast was different due to Covid so you had to wait for a little while and ask the waitress for the things you wanted and then she would serve you. The breakfast staff work so hard under quite difficult circumstances and really try their best. Breakfast is limited but good quality - the orange juice is the best I’ve tasted at a hotel buffet and the scrambled egg is really good as well. Hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the marina and five minutes from the main town. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to anybody visiting Lagos.
This is a large resort with football field, golf course, children's playground, outdoor swimming pool, hotel single room and family room. We booked a one-bedroom (including kitchen, balcony, living room). The location of the hotel is only a short walk from the attractions. 5 minutes, there is a small road to the beach, which is very convenient. The room particularly pleased me that the kitchen supplies are all available (you only need to buy your own ingredients and ingredients), and there are washing and drying machines. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent and the waiters were nice. Since we are self-driving, we cannot give advice on public transportation.
Stayed here at the end of August and had a fantastic time! The apartment location is perfect, close to the marina/ beach and a nice stroll across the town centre. There are plenty of nice bars and cafe's close to the apartment with nice views looking over the marina. The actual apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The local supermarket is just round the corner as well which is very handy. Andy was always at hand if we had any questions but the welcome pack provides excellent detail of what to do and where to go anyway. We also used the pool on a couple of days, which is just a short walk away, which was really large which plenty beds/ space. Can't wait to go back!
The hotel room is very close to the sea and the downtown. There are many small supermarkets and restaurants next to it. The hotel is well-equipped, with a swimming pool and gym. But the room does not have the common supplies such as coffee and toothbrushes, which are provided in the hotels in China.
The location is ideal if you want to be close to the beach, around a 5 minute walk. However, the supermarkets are around 15/20 minute walk away, or should I say hike with the hills. Only one bar and restaurant at the beach, had to get taxis into Lagos every night. Room was lovely, nice view of the pool. Staff cleaned every day and to a very high standard. Kitchenette had everything we needed. Although, be aware of the €250 fine for breaking any crockery or not handing your keys back at the end of your stay! Sun beds around the pool weren’t very socially distanced and could be moved at will, something that put me on edge during the pandemic. There were a lot of children at the 'adult pool', making it very disruptive. Breakfast was a nightmare most mornings. The food was cold and was sent back several times during our stay. The rule of masks indoors when not sat at a table was not enforced regularly. All in all a relaxing stay in the midst of the global pandemic. Most staff were friendly. Was quite disappointed with some aspects. Hotel would benefit from having a small shop in the reception area selling drinks and snacks. Not somewhere I’d stay again.
A highly recommended hotel! If you drive from Seville to Lisbon, you can stay here for one night! The town is beautiful. This hotel is perfect except for the room! The Michelin restaurant downstairs tastes good too! Especially breakfast, the breakfast is rich and exquisite! The breakfast has fried steak and lamb chops, and the taste is very good! (The picture is just breakfast)
Spent 12 lovely days in this clean, quiet apartment within Vila Marazul. Beautiful pool, in well kept grounds, everything was great. 2 lovely restaurants nearby the beautiful beach. Lagos within walking distance if you like walking, short taxi or bus ride otherwise. A great base for an Algarve holiday
This hotel location is somewhat biased, it is not recommended to live, you can live in the west side of Lagos, there is more prosperous, the navigation belt driving at night is very biased. Our family is cautiously driving, but the hotel itself has no problem. Very good, drive to the big supermarket and dock restaurant area in 5 minutes, but this is not too developed, so it seems very biased
When I checked in, I was a little bit of an episode. The hotel closed the room. I still sold the basic room. After I went to the store, I started to say that there was no room. Later, I said that there is a room for sea view. I need to add money. However, Ctrip has negotiated internally and super-fast communication with online customer service. After the call, I immediately went to the front desk. Hotel room is small but very clean. The terrace is very big and the sun is beautiful. The hotel is right next to the beach. The scenery is very invincible. The front desk staff compares nice breakfast is really super disgusting. I have seen the most unpalatable meat and sausages are artificial meat. Fruit is canned coffee. The total price is very cheap. Breakfast is good. There is a small shop in the downstairs. Simple daily necessities can be bought. No drinking water in the room, buy it yourself.
Our third visit to Vita Sol having had enjoyable stays in 2010 and 2015. Location is excellent with spacious apartments and good pool facility.. we have always liked it previously so we had no hesitation in booking again That said, this time our feelings were more mixed. The complex is well designed so you are well set up on the basics but we felt that staff engagement was sorely lacking throughout our stay. - check in was minimal with no explanation about the apartments and what's going on (not that we needed this but some form of introduction would have been nice) - the complex was overrun with hire cars parked outside apartments despite everyone having designated underground parking spaces. We suspected nobody was told about this on check in leading to a lot of parking congestion every morning - our apartment was serviced twice in the week with both visits after 6pm when we were busy getting ready to go out - naturally we declined which seemed music to the staff's ears - on the Sunday afternoon the children's swimming pool was infested with flies having not been cleaned for reasons unknown - when I requested the staff address this because children couldn't play they just went back and forth making phone calls between bar/reception without anyone taking ownership of the issue. Was made to feel like I was being a nuisance for complaining about this.. - upon asking for late check out due to a late flight was charged 60 EUR cash just to have the room until 4pm... I could have got a full day for £80 on Google.. Overall I would say it is one of those hotels which works because the building and flow of the complex is well designed, but the staff side needs some work.. if they are bored of serving customers then maybe a new team with the right attitude needs to be recruited instead?
The villa is very nice, clean, with a hippie vibe(hamock, pillows outside, small green lawns,..) with a good location(7 minutes walk from old town, 20ish from several beaches). Great, varied breakfast that you can eat inside or on the two terases. The rooms are pretty and clean and all have a theme. Won't focus on the positive too much as you have this info on booking :) Cons: - we were 3 couples in the villa and the rooms varied from one another: one had a bathroom door and fridge(room 5 - lucky), one did NOT had a bathroom door(yes, you read correctly) but had a fridge (room 1), one did NOT had any(room 3) - upside here is that a bathroom is available down the coridor for everyone to share(with a door) - staff knew very little to none english(but everything is preestablish so you don t interact too much with them)
The hotel is very artistic and the lobby design is fashionable. The breakfast is not bad, with ham and omelet available. The swimming pool is accessible from the courtyard before the restaurant. The view is very good. The King room contains two beds.

The InterContinental Hotel is next door to the Four Seasons Hotel, the price is 3 times cheaper than the Four Seasons! The room is relatively large. This is one of my favorite hotels where I have stayed in so many five-star hotels in Lisbon... It takes 3 minutes to walk out of Liberty Avenue and Edward VII Park is on the side!
Hotel rooms are divided into old and new. Generally, you don't need to add money for booking the old ones, and you need to add money for the new ones. The front desk will suggest an upgrade-it seems to be an extra 30 Euro!
The breakfast is so-so, not many varieties, and the taste is average! Bar is great! Two drinks in the evening!
Stayed here for almost 1 week! Hotel services are pretty good👍
The hotel is located next to the square, adjacent to luxury and super-luxury hotels such as Four Seasons, and has convenient transportation. The room is relatively large. We brought a 9-year-old child and no extra charge for extra beds. Think of a hotel in Rome that charges 35 euros for an extra bed, which is too expensive. The indoor pool is open to children in the morning, although only for one hour. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, pleasing to the eye, and the staff were very polite, and we were quite satisfied.
The hotel is very clean. The breakfast setting is very thoughtful. Due to the epidemic, there will be a dedicated waiter to take the meal for you. If you go to the hotel, there is a free hotel car at the door. And you can renew the room rate by the hour, which is very cost-effective! On the whole, it is really conscientious! !
Ctrip service is first-class, another hotel that was originally booked is not so good. As a result, two days before the trip, Ctrip called the hotel to inform that there was no room, and Ctrip made up the difference of more than 2,000 to live in this very good hotel. It’s so good to say nothing. Hotel tickets really only believe in Ctrip, this service is world class
Hotel condition is ok once. Although it is an old hotel, it was tidy and clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The shower room has music therapy, but it was amazing. Amenity is Morton Brown, and the coffee machine is Nespresso. Coffee is of course free. There was no electric port.
Very friendly staff. I arrived at the pharmacy the day I arrived, so there was no pharmacy open. However, the desk staff worried and looked up and remembered me a few days later and asked my best regards. I also asked you to recommend a restaurant, but I have a really good house. Water and drinks are always available in the lobby, and in the afternoon you can have a delicious snack in the lobby.
Please clean up your sleeping room in the morning and clean up your room so you can sleep in the afternoon. The room is always tidy, so every time I enter, I feel good. I saw you tidying up the bathroom by accident. It was an old hotel that smelled like a sewer, but I couldn't complain because it was so carefully managed that I couldn't blame it. The smell is fine if you close the bathroom door well. Besides, I didn't like frustration, so I kept the windows open so I thought it was better. Oh, when you organized it in the afternoon, you might have snacks like candy or tarts. I wandered around and ate really good.
Breakfast was just the right kind (vegetables, cheese, ham and sausage, eggs, fruits, bread, milk, juice, coffee, etc.). The manager was very friendly at breakfast. Oh, we had wine and steak with room service.
The location is perfect .. Buses, trams and subway stops are right in front of you and you can walk to the sea just a few steps away. There are many good restaurants nearby. The Trem takes you directly to the main tourist attractions ... Ah, the flats near the hotel make it easy to walk around. I am more than happy to see you later. I recommend it.
1. The room is large, the equipment is very good, and the value for money is excellent. 2. All kinds of services are very warm and considerate, very moving. 3. The lobby is slightly crowded. 4. The parking lot is too small, it seems to be shared with the outside, parking sometimes needs to wait, not convenient.
It is only 5 minutes walk from the T1 terminal to cross two roads. It is especially convenient to catch an early flight. Uber is only 10 minutes away from Gama Shopping Center and Dongfang Railway Station. The service is very good and easy to check in. If you can catch an early flight, you can also prepare breakfast in advance and take it away. There is parking.
The room is very large, very quiet, with a good view. There are small slides for local children to play downstairs. The eating industry is very convenient. There are Chinese food in the Western food. It is not convenient to take a taxi. The lights in the room were so smart that the last night, the toilet lights couldn't be shut down, so it was so bright that I slept for a night.
Very satisfied hotel, temporarily changed the itinerary and set aside another day but every day will charge city tax The service is still very thoughtful. It is said to be a chain hotel in Spain, but it is inhabited in Portugal. Hahaha
Near the exit of the subway station, one from the airport and one to the center of Lisbon with good access. Hotel → Airport used uber for early morning but did not cost 400 yen in Japanese yen. Despite such convenient access, it is more reasonable than the hotel in the center of Lisbon than the hotel next to the airport. The staff is kind. Breakfast is OK with a few vegetables. There are quite a lot of bread types. There was also egg tart. The rooms are simple. There was bathtub, too, and large bathroom was good, but there was no shower curtain, so the toilet washroom was flooded. There seemed to be no drainage there, so I was troubled because there was no water at all. Wi-Fi is good. The windows are double sashes with good sound insulation. Photos of the town are around the hotel.
The location is infinitely good. The 13th stop of the airport bus line 1 is opposite the hotel. When I come back to the plane, I don’t have anyone on the bus. Do you have a taxi? When you go there, there are quite a lot of people. The room is not good. Too big, the bathtub can be made slippery, the service is polite, buy and buy is very convenient, left turn is a variety of big-name graffiti lifts, come out right turn is the up and down of the Hulu lift, forever many people, then Because near, I went straight at 7:30 in the morning, no one, next to the train station, this is too convenient, the pork chops on the opposite side of the train station can be, Lisbon can play, this hotel is also good, breakfast is also Yes, there is also sparkling wine. I am also drunk. On the fourth day, I can’t just eat rice and mustard. I can make them a variety of fancy coffees and eggs. I can order them. This is probably my. The best hotel in the trip, and then went to live in various apartments, suitable for my leisurely informality, the hotel is still suitable for people with grades, I lived for four days pretending that I am very dignified. Recommended decoration is also good in line with my vintage beauty Province
