2.74km from Dona DaisyViva Hostel design is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and most of them speak English and even if they don't they do their best to help you. The neighborhood is pretty nice and fairly quiet and safe. There are some restaurants/bars within walking distance but the main ones in Villa Madalena and are a bit far to walk. Sao Paulo and especially Villa Madalena have very steep hills, so even short walks are quite tiring. This includes the walk to Villa Madalena subway station. It's quite easy overall to get around on the subway, but the station is just a few stops from stations along Paulista Avenue. The hostel overall is very clean and well kept. The commons area has a good amount of seating. The TV room with Netflix is a wonderful bonus, but obviously most of the time it's taken. There is a large kitchen with lots of storage space and cooking space to make your own food. I stayed in the six bed mixed dorm. The pod style of the beds is innovative and provides a bit of privacy, and the individual sockets and bed light is great! There are individual lockers right in the rooms too. The beds are comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hostel!
2.76km from Dona DaisyThere was nothing I could fault of this lovely place, I wouldn't even call it a Hostel. The homemade bread at breakfast was delicious! The staff was extremely helpful, they always ran up and down the stairs to help guests with their bags. They were so polite and friendly though professional. The location is perfect especially to enjoy the nightlife of Vila Madalena but Uber or the Metro will take you anywhere at very low prices. The shared bathrooms were incredibly clean, wifi was very good and the garden was a little paradise in a chaotic city like SP. There is also a well equipped kitchen at the back where you can prepare your own food. This place is the perfect spot to chill and unwind. I will surely come back and I totally recommend this place to everyone. Extremely safe for families with kids too. All other guests were also very friendly and zen, chilled and peaceful. LOVED IT !!!
2.83km from Dona DaisyThe hotel was really great, the staff was very friendly, the neighborhood is safe and you can go to nearby restaurants at night. The room was spacious, the breakfast good with a lot of choices (even though there was not that much variation from day to day). Excellent coffee, but this is certainly something to expect.
2.93km from Dona DaisyThe hotel is in a decent zone of the city, not fancy but it wasn't terrible either; it felt very safe from my perspective. There were a lot of points of interest near by. The hotel itself is a small yet lovely place, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but cozy, fully equiped, with a super comfortable bed and a great shower! The breakfast had all the things you may expect from a continental, nothing super fancy, but all tasty. The check in flexibility could have been better, and I found out that in Brazil there are 2 or 3 major POS reader brands, some of which don't work with international cards, sadly the hotel had one of those, so I had to pay in cash (and upfront, keep it in mind when you are coming straigth from the airport). All in all, it was a very good experience for an affordable price.
3.15km from Dona DaisyNice for sp
3.41km from Dona DaisyI like this hostel. I stayed in the 10 bed dorm which was spacious, each bed has a curtain and socket (no lamp), lockers available and even a clothes rail for hanging stuff. I also chose the 10 bed instead of 8 bed because the 8-bed faces the road whereas the 10-bed is at the back so less traffic noise. Fans available if you're warm. Bathrooms clean, hot showers. Excellent wifi throughout. Computers available for guests. Space outside for drying clothes. Good lounge areas indoor and outdoors. Kitchen good size and well equipped. Breakfast good for a budget hostel (there was fresh fruit), though a bit early 6-9am. Staff all friendly and helpful. Location near subway station, shops, restaurants. Maps and tourist information available at hostel.
Hotels Near Dona Daisy In Sao Paulo Review
Breakfast is good. Five-star hotel, all conditions are good. The surrounding environment is clean and beautiful, there are shopping centers downstairs, and many restaurants are very suitable for business trips.
The room had enough for two people to be comfortable with a separate bedroom and plenty of closet and storage space. The small kitchen area was nice; we could prepare simple lunches and make our own coffee and tea in the room if we didn’t feel like going out. Breakfast offered enough variety that we could change our choices every day and there was always a lot of fresh fruit and baked goods. The staff was very helpful, and a special thank you to Natalia at the front desk who sorted out our every need including arranging for us to have a private city tour which we really enjoyed. The hotel itself is well located with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and parks within walking distance. Paulista was a twenty-five minute walk from the hotel, and we were close enough to the Pacaembu Football stadium that we were able to walk over and enjoy a football match. If you have a room close to the front of the hotel, you will hear street noise, but you have a better view from the balcony than you would from the quieter rooms in the back. The hotel is clean and well-kept. We had a very nice stay at this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it to fellow travellers or visitors to São Paulo.
The hotel is located in the center of Sao Paulo. The breakfast is very average and there are not many choices. I feel that these hotels have similar breakfasts. Brazil has more sweets for breakfast. We arrived early on the first day and arrived at the hotel at 7 or 8 in the morning. , They said that the room cannot be checked in until after 2pm. If you want to pay an extra fee in advance, almost one extra night’s room rate will be charged.
Stayed here for about 5 days as I had to work in Sāo Paulo and I must say I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and spacious and the beds for me were really comfortable. The breakfast is very good with lots to choose from and you can order your eggs any way you like them. Great strong coffee so I was happy! The minibar is filled and cheap. $2,5 for a beer is actually seriously cheap for a minibar and it was the first time in years they had to restock it daily for me. What could have made my experience perfect would have been a water cooker with purified water. That wat I could have made some tea or coffee while working in my room. Other than that.... a very good experience Oh and loads and loads of restaurants on walking distance .... perfect food really close!
Price is cheaper compared with neigberhood Room card always have problem, not able to active the elevator, nor open the door Always lots of people check in and out in the reception area, and the process is quite slow, must avoid busy time
I have read varying reviews. Other than the time it takes to check-in the rest of my stay was excellent. There a a few good bars and restaurants nearby (recommend Varandinha across the road). The rooms were spacious, gym had good equipment, breakfast was ample, and the staff were friendly. Not sure what more I could ask for.
I was initially worried about staying at a 3 star hotel in Brazil. The Ibis interlagos far exceeded my expectations. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately we had unexpected events happen my father in law was rushed to hospital for emergency aneurysm, and then they detected cancer as well. my husband had to complete forms and scan and send them and the hotel was kind enough to scan and email them back to us once we completed the information. This is not a business hotel but we greatly appreciated it. They had great continental breakfast. Each morning we would have breakfast take a cab downtown to the hospital and come back in the late evening. A few nights we just wanted to relax and have a drink and a snack and they had a selection of wine and beers and pao de queijo. The also have night security which made us feel safe. You cannot enter elevator without a swipe card and this I thought was an excellent feature. The bed was was extremely comfortable and they had fridge in the room and also air conditioning. I am not fluent in Portuguese but I was able to get by communicating to the exceptional staff from cleansing to front desk to kitchen. The service here was excellent and everyone is friendly. There is also a a large mall across the street, a bank, public transit bus stop and they hotel can arrange a cab. It’s about 50R to Downtown in São Paulo traffic. This was about $14USD or $18 CDN so it was not that expensive. The first couple of days we flagged cabs but then they hotel found out we were going back and forth to the hospital so a nice gentleman at the front desk arranged cabs for us and I felt very safe. They hotel does have drinks, food, snacks so you don’t have to go out. We will definitely be staying again at this hotel and highly recommend it to both visitors to Brazil or Brazilians. They only negative thing I can think Of was the size of the room however we were traveling with too many suitcases 4 large suitcases 3 carry on but they have banquets and we we were able to put a few suitcases under the banquets, a few in the cubby holes. We were able to store them away as best we could but if you were there for several weeks you may find the rooms small but really you are just there to sleep and get ready so it did not bother us much. They also do not have a safe in the room but we just had our passports and credit cards on us and when we travel we don’t bring valuables. I think the front desk can lock Items for you behind the desk.
Everything is fine, breakfast is delicious
This hotel is located very well; within walking distance from Av Paulista (shopping, business, Sunday activities / live music) and Augusta Street (restaurants / bars). It also has a number of amazing restaurants nearby too and a short Uber ride to some of the tourist spots of São Paulo and a short walk to the metro to connect you to many other parts of São Paulo. I found the rooms to be very clean, and the shower is one of the best I came across in Brazil - good pressure. The staff were helpful and friendly too. There is security / staff near the door after hours which made the hotel feel safer at night, even though it is in a good neighbourhood. The breakfast can be improved as it was very simple for such a hotel and lacked choice and taste. The hotel also has a strict 2pm check in policy so chances of an early check in are unlikely unless you pay a fee - which seemed the case with many hotels in Brazil. Overall, I was happy and would stay again if the rate was right.

Nice hotel, close to the park
This is the first time that Mr. and I came to São Paulo. I searched for Ctrip online for a long time, and finally chose to book at Nobile Downtown Sao Paulo based on the user's comments. The attitude of the front desk staff is very good. The hotel is not far from the subway station and the Oriental Street. It is quite convenient. The breakfast variety is quite rich, and the restaurant environment is very comfortable. If the front desk can have Spanish service, it will definitely provide more convenience to the guests. This hotel is really good and worth recommending!
The breakfast is good. The hotel is located near the main road of Paulistta in São Paulo. The hotel has a parking lot. Most guests living here are for business and tourism trips. It is also suitable for families with children.
Leaving the city airport CONGONHAS (Brazil domestic flight) is a ten-minute walk. Walking next to the hypermarket EXTRA.
It took a taxi to the Chinatown of LIBERDADE, Jufulou, about ten kilometers from half acre of land. 50 pieces of REIS.
Breakfast is average for two people. Not bad.
Good place with nice neighborhood and near some good restaurants. The accommodation is large and comfortable as the entrance and free parking service. The breakfast was nice, with fresh fruits and variety of cheeses and breads.
Travel is very convenient. Very close to the attractions. The hotel location is very good. Breakfast was rich. The rooms are large, except the facilities are slightly outdated but really can match the price. Will definitely choose next time.
The hotel is located in a gathering area of Japanese descent, relatively safe, surrounded by a lot of Japanese food, and eating is more convenient. If you participate in the exhibition, you can consider it, cost-effective, and the hotel facilities are relatively outdated
Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time, the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and a great breakfast only 1 block from the beach, felt safe of an evening walking to restaurants and having a few drinks would highly recommend.we had a front facing room on the 5th floor
I stayed for almost 3 months living in Selina Madalena, as the begining of my new nomad life. I found here not only the Selina’s incredible staff that will make your stay perfect, but also a lot of new friends who where travelling and working as me. I highly recomend staying in Selina Madalena if you’re planning to visit or live in São Paulo. You won’t regret it!
Breakfast is general, Western food, Chinese people may not really adapt, only eat a few pieces of bread and milk, others look at their own taste. The room was very well laid out, with a desk and chair behind the bed, and the back wall was a very large mural TV at the front.
That is probably the best location you can find in Jardins right at the heart of Oscar Freiere . The other option is a snooty hotel almost cross the road at four to five times the price . I have not seen or tried the facilities at the hotel and thus I cannot comment on that . However , the breakfast was adequate for a hotel of that nature with plenty of choice . The hotel is clearly dated but not obsolete and that is clearly reflected in the price you pay . Should they renovate or upgrade the hotel which they may do the price will not be anywhere near what it is now . So if you tight as well as picky i suggest you go elsewhere as you cannot have it both ways . Should i go to Sao Paulo again i will certainly put it on the top of the list for location and safety .
I visited Sao Paulo in September 2019 with friends, and we each booked rooms at this hotel because of its proximity to transit, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are awesome, good wifi, comfortable beds, clean, and there's a great breakfast buffet each morning, too. Gym facilities for the health conscious. Close to the Paraiso and Brigadeiro Metro subway stations. Our rooms each had in suite laundry machines, too! A good deal: reasonably priced comfort and great service
I have spent several nights here over the last few months, and the service and staff is very attentive. Modern rooms, clean, luminous, nice decoration and located conveniently close to the Morumbi shopping mall. Easy access to the hotel and located off the road so it is quiet and silent. Convenience stores next to hotel and some bars very close to it. Dining in the hotel too with some Gluten Free dishes marked with GF symbol Breakfast offers Gluten Free food, including GF bread. One of my rooms -upgraded- had a Nespresso coffe maker. I will keep on staying here as it is a very good hotel, cost-value wise.
The fly in the ointment is the old price increase
The location of this hotel is really convenient. When there is nothing to do on the weekends, I go around. There are many restaurants to choose from. I ate a Japanese restaurant and the dishes are basically localized. The owner created a new drink because it is pink. It’s also rare that the boss tried hard to talk to me in English and recommended it. I tried it and it tasted really good. There is a carrefour about 5 or 600 meters away. I remembered that my local colleagues recommended local milk to me, so I bought some local milk and fruits. It’s very fresh; the hotel’s breakfast menu is a little bit more, but the ingredients are what I value most. In addition, one day I worked overtime and returned late. I was so hungry that I tried this eight-catch fish in the hotel restaurant. I don’t know what to do in the alleys. When I ask questions in the circle of friends, everyone’s brains are open...
The location is very good. The Paulista Avenue where the hotel is located is the highest point in São Paulo. It is surrounded by financial institutions and major banks. It is very convenient to exchange Pakistani currencies. Paulista Avenue is very prosperous and safe, and the police can see it within a few steps. As for the hotel, the service is not bad in all aspects, the rooms are also big, but they are a bit old, some smell, and there is no coffee machine and kettle in the room. Breakfast is good, pure Western breakfast. Local characteristic fruits, you can drink hot water, hot milk, and hot coffee. All in all it's not bad, I will choose here next time.
Convenient transportation, good sanitary conditions, close to where you want to go, new facilities, good service, parking lot, it is still a good choice, I want to live here next time
The hotel stays in an excellent location - nearby Augusta Avenue and The Frei Caneca Shopping Center. There are many options of bars and restaurants in the region. Moreover, it is not so far from Guarulhos airport (around 30 minutes, it is not considering the traffic). The hotel offers a good breakfast in the lounge. There is no garage, but there exist many options near it. The room is very, very small, but it is possible to have a good night. More details about the room: comfortable mattress, cable tv (smart), air conditioner does not work well, fan, and shower amenities available. Summarizing, it is a typical hotel just to sleep after a full day of activities. The staff is ok. I recommend it.
Transfer from Sao Paulo back to China, refer to Ctrip's guide, stay at Hotel Nacional Inn São Paulo this time. The experience of staying in the hotel is very good. First of all, the location of the hotel is near the LUZ train station and the subway station. From the train station, it has been about 15 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the ground is dust-free. Although it is near the road, it is not very noisy. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel for easy shopping. From the airport to the hotel is also very convenient, there is a train directly from the airport to LUZ railway station. But if you encounter Saturday and Sunday, you should pay attention, because there are no direct trains, and some trains will not leave until the specified time after you get on. Really recommend this hotel! ! !
The hotels location is awesome ,new to the Paulista avenue, the metro station is like 15min walking more or less ,I’d love to stay there again so soon.
