This apartment Hotel was just what we needed to spend a week during Xmas/New Year in Athens. The centre of the city Plaka, Acropolis etc was 20 min taxi ride costing 7 Euros. Close enough and just far enough from the busy Centre. Apartment was large and the staff were great. Check in was effortless despite the delay of our flight. The Lobby restaurant makes appropriately “Reception” is perfect for nightcap after the long day exploring. The staff at the Reception restaurant are amazing and patient and ready to please. Thanks for the amazing stay!!

Staff was really good and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfort (especially the ones on the 6th floor) nice view as well. The breakfast was also ok, enjoyed it. Another plus is the parking and the security guards. Will go again, for sure.

This hotel is well-priced for the room quality and amenities it provides, although prospective guests should be aware that it is far from the city center in a very residential area. Without a car, it would be tough to access the main tourist area/sites from this hotel. The neighborhood it's in is not unsafe (though it can seem a little sketchy at night because the surrounding buildings are pretty rundown-looking) but you won't find many shops, restaurants, or food markets around here. We were just passing through for a night (arriving from the Greek Islands and heading to Delphi in the AM), for which it worked out great. I would advise against making this your home base to explore Athens, though, since between this hotel's costs and the added expenses of a car rental you could likely find a nice AirBNB or private hostel room closer to the city center. One more thing: the breakfast here is a pretty bare-bones continental breakfast. We weren't impressed and opted to eat elsewhere.

Let me start by saying that it's NOT a bad hotel but a POOR one. I know it's a 3* hotel so I shouldn't have high hopes but the thing is that I stayed in many 3 * hotels and in different countries and there's a lot of things that need to be changed. So I'm going to start by saying that both staff day and night are really great and the location is not so bad. But the weirdest thing is when you go out you cannot take the room key with you when we asked about it they said that the reason is so we don't loose it and the cost that the hotel will have to pay to replace it and then the maid will be notified to go and clean up the room.

The lady at the reception desk was welcoming, cheerful and a delight to talk to making my wife and I feel at home right away. The room was warm, clean and comfortable with a balcony. Okay the balcony it looked over a side street, but it added an extra dimension to our stay. The bathroom was tiled throughout and was very, very clean. The shower was great using a mosaic tile with bench for the 'tray' - a wonderful experience. Access to the room was via a winding marble staircase or via a charming old fashioned lift - really nice. My stay at the Exis also took me to a part of Athens I had never seen before and so widened my knowledge of this fascinating city

We have spend a week in this hotel, in August 2020. Hotel is well located, close to metro station. We had superior room in 5 floor. Room was big enough, very clean. We have got every day 2 botles of water for free and coffe capsules. There is pool on the roof - entry for hotel guest is for free, also guests are getting water for free. Lifeguard is there until 18:00. The view from the roof is amanzing. The Staff been always very nice and helpfull. As we have been in the hotel during current Covid-19 situation, I would like to mention that hotel has safety rules in place. Mask to be used, also staff been wearing masks always. The hotel and whole staff always paid high attention to safety rules. An example - during check in as i had to sign check in documents - there are pen available on the reception desk - once signed i have put the pen back, the receptionis took the pen and put it a side. I need to say, the hotel and whole staff takes the safety rules seriously so we felt safe. Well done to the whole staff and hotel management. I can only recomend to visit this hotel. Price reasonable, great location, amazing pool and nice, helpfull staff.

Neos Kosmos
We had booked 18th September, a double standard room. We got what we booked, a lovely double standard room; not much of a view but decent room amenities. We flew out on the 19th September to Santorini and the kind receptionist kept our luggages. As we were checking out we mentioned we will be back again on the 21st September, but due to arriving back to Athens at 12 midnight we booked the double standard room again however we had booked the Penthouse suite for the 22nd September. We asked if we may get a complimentary upgrade as we already booked penthouse for the next morning. The receptionist said she will make a note and said if it is available then of course they wouldn't mind upgrading. It is now the 21st September (22nd midnight) - we have just landed and have come straight to the hotel. The receptionist was not welcoming at all. We had no pleasant welcoming nor did we get a welcome drink like the way we did on the 18th September. We then asked the receptionist if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade for the penthouse, he laughed and followed through saying 'of course not, penthouse is very expensive', I replied to that, well we have it booked for tomorrow - I was asking due to ease of transition. The receptionist then went quiet. We then asked if it were available, he said to ask in the morning when we come for breakfast. He then booked us into our room and upon leaving to go to our room he asked if it were someone's birthday, I asked why, he said what the reason is for booking the penthouse, I said because we arrived at 12 midnight and wouldn't be able to use the room to its full potential. He then laughed and said we have saved money and we could now spend it on dinner. This receptionist saw us and thought we were just young adults with no money trying our luck. We judged us from the moment we walked into the hotel. My experience on the 18th is completely different to my experience today. The receptionist also booked me into the possibly worse room in the hotel. We a dirty window view of the back of some building. This room did not even have a functioning TV. I feel like this was done out of spite. I went onto hotel booking websites and saw that the penthouse as well as many other rooms were still available for the following date: 21st - 22nd September. This is further strengthening my argument that the receptionist booked us into the worst room on purpose. The room does not even come with complimentary water, bare in mind all shops are closed in Greece from 12am. We literally went to bed thirsty. DO NOT BOOK this hotel! I will update everyone on my experience tomorrow with the penthouse. But I wouldn't hold my breath

It’s easier to say what was good: service was friendly and helpful (Valentina did a great job!), toiletries are great, the furniture is new and stylish. There is a terrace on top with nice views. - Cleanliness: in the second room we saw pieces of soap in the shower from previous tenants, that shows the shower was not cleaned and disinfected properly, if at all. On the floor there was also some hygienic stuff packaging, which means the same. There was something dirty on the vase. The bedlined is clean, but on top of it is a cover that is probably used by all guests and is not hygienic and washed as often. - Breakfast: is served in the room due to covid, and was extremely poor for a 4* hotel (look at the photos) - three toasts for 2 people, if you’re vegan, go to some other hotel, as they don’t have fruit or vegetables, even upon request. Toast bread was some days toasted, some days no. The juice was also disgusting and we couldn’t drink it. - Comfort: we couldn’t sleep due to loud cars at night, so very low. In the new room one door of the shower was missing and shower couldn’t be closed (!). In the first room there was a coffee machine, but the pills for it were missing. - Soundproofing: When we couldn’t sleep the first night due to a loud busy road next to the hotel, we were offered several rooms to choose from. They were quiter, but still loud :( - Location: very close to the center, but some streets are full of junkies injecting drugs. If you use main streets to go the center, they are ok. - Security: they tried to charge our card before we arrived, it didn’t work, so they cancelled our reservation (while we are always paying at reception in other hotels). We rebooked it and it was cheaper, so that’s fine. We booked with booking and it said “all taxes and charges are included, also the city tax”, and we showed it at reception when we checked out, but when we left the hotel, they charged our credit card without our permission. Small amount but it is still not ethical and double-charging, and we didn’t feel secure. After that we moved to Centrotel and it was much cleaner and quieter, even though it is 2*.

We stayed at the Electra Metropolis for 10 nights. I have to say firstly that the staff were very friendly. The views from breakfast were incredible! I would also recommend the fillet steak at dinner. The most memorable experience for us were the three visits to the spa at the hotel. I have to firstly mention Joanna, who was so friendly and welcoming! But our biggest thanks go to Tatiana, who gave us the best massages ever! Tatiana takes her job very seriously and wants her customers to be happy. I had a muscular issue which she helped with. She really knows her stuff. Tatiana was totally professional and was excellent at her job. Thank you! The other ladies in the spa were also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s in the perfect location for loads of great restaurants and the key tourist sites!

Psiri / Monastiraki
From the moment of our arrival we knew we had chosen well! The welcome from reception was natural, warm and incredibly friendly. They also gave us a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift. We had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the street below. The doors cancel out any noise coming from the bars and cafes, which are in abundance around this hotel. Great choices for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was provided by a cafe 2 mins walk away from the hotel. It’s super cool and stylish with very friendly staff, in fact, the Greek hospitality industry is the best I’ve experienced anywhere! The attention to detail in the room is lovely. The toiletries, the monogram towels, the sink with lots of useful cutlery, kettle, espresso machine, storage space. The one thing I always comment on in my reviews is the bed and pillows. If you can’t have a good nights sleep then all the details mean nothing. The bed is sooooo comfortable and the pillows were just perfect for me and my husband. If you’re looking for a a small stylish hotel in a great location , don’t hesitate to book here!

Psiri / Monastiraki
The location is excellent! Walking distance to Monastiraki, full of options for meals nearby (and also close to the city market) and with a fantastic staff - especially the girl who made my check-in, she could speak Spanish very well and made our communication easier (as a Brazilian, I speak Portuguese, which is close). Rooms are in good size and mine was quite clean, bed was comfortable, ensuring me good sleep quality - not 100% good because there was some reconstructing work on the street so the noise started early, but it was not hostel fault and now it is certainly finished. Only disadvantage was that one of the toilet walls in the shared bathroom was made of thin wood, sometimes hard to close, but I have survived ;-). The atmosphere is something to remember in a positive way, I recommend this place to everyone!
