My wife and I have just returned from this beautiful hotel which occupies its own island 10 minutes water shuttle from San Marco. As with most of not all hotels in Venice, the exterior of these building do not catch the eye, but do not be fooled, inside you will find beauty and refinement that is breathtaking. The San Clemente Kempinski is a magnificently spacious hotel and our Grand Deluxe room with both lagoon and garden views did not disappoint. Every member of staff you encounter is friendly welcoming and professional and nothing is too much trouble. All Covid 19 protocols are in place with mask wearing staff and all but a minority of guests observing the mask rule both indoors and outdoors. Of course you expect to pay for these services so the prices of food and drink are high - but well worth it in our opinion. The aforementioned courtesy private water shuttle runs to and from SAN Marco every 40 minutes and literally pops you across the water, to enjoy the sights of Venice city with its many many shops, literally at every turn. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

A very positive experience. I only confirmed the room one day in advance, in the middle of August and I got a single room at a price of a hostel accommodation in a mixed dorm room. A very pleasant surprise. The hotel is, indeed, placed on island however, it is still a perfect choice for travellers with luggage (its much easier to carry the suitcases on board of vaporetto and then to the island than accross tens od bridges in the city). In addition, if you intend to stay in Venice for at least one day, you will buy a daily (or longer) ticket for vaporetto so, going to the hotel on San Servolo will not be an additional cost. The island is amazing, with views of Venice and San giorgio Maggiore on one side, and Lido on the other side. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean with comfy toilette and all that you might need (even complimentary packages containing nail boards and cotton swabs and a nail file which is lovely gesture which you can usually see only in 4+ hotels). I didn't stay for breakfast so, I don't have and impressions about food and the restaurant but, all and all, the receptionists and bar workers were extremely pleasant and helpful. I would surely recommend it.

Awesome place, really enjoyed the stay. The property owner was very gentle and extremely helpful to tell us about the places we must explore during our stay of 3 days 2 nights. The place is about 100m from the ferry stop named Guidecca Palanca whoch helped us to take a ferry at 3:45am in order to catch the flight at 6:25am. If we visit Venice again we are going to stay here for sure!!!

My Boyfriend and I booked a week in Venice, at the end of July. We were a little apprehensive about choosing a hotel on the island of Guidecca ( and not Venice itself) however this turned out to be the best decision we could've made! Please don't worry about booking a hotel on Guidecca, it is so easy to get to and from Venice and I would recommend it to any one! I have stayed in central Venice before and I much much preferred Guidecca. The island is peaceful and quiet, it's easy to get to and from Venice and is a lovely escape after a busy day of sight-seeing. Upon arriving at the airport, we purchased a return ticket on the Allilaguna water bus ( 27 euro) - there is a stall in the arrivals hall - to 'Guidecca Stucky' ( Stucky is another word for the Hilton hotel at the end of Guidecca island) - This is the red or blue line. You buy your ticket and head downstairs to the boat platforms and board the correct red or blue boat! The journey was long ( a few hours!) but you get to see a lot of Venice and there were plenty of seats. Guidecca Stucky was the last stop - we got off and you have to walk for about 10 minutes, cross a few bridges until you pass the local Vaporetto stop ( named Palanca ). You have to turn right down a small alley just after a bridge - close to the La Foca pizza place. ( I remembered the alley because it has graffiti letters sprayed on the top of the wall!) Follow the alley to a courtyard and the hotel is a signposted red building on the right before a bridge. Its extremely safe, don't be put off by the words alley or graffiti, the island was lovely. First impressions we were a little concerned, however ignore the tired 'outer' appearance of the hotel. As soon as you get inside the interior is beautiful, clean and air conditioned. Staff are very friendly and all speak perfect English ( which helps!). We were in room 11 on the ground floor, which was a stunning room with exposed beams in the ceiling and a pillar. The rooms were cleaned every day, beds very comfortable. We had lots of space, a nice bathroom and shower, and a mini fridge to keep water and snacks cool. A safe in the room was also very helpful. Breakfast was nice. However as English we did miss a cooked breakfast, and a toaster would have been perfect - but yogurts and croissants were fine. When we wanted to visit Venice, we walked to the 'Palanca' Vaporetto stop along the front, purchased a weekly ticket on the machine ( all in English so very easy) and paid by credit card ( it was 60 euro for unlimited travel which was perfect for us and meant we could really explore). Boats were frequent and easy to use - we often caught the number 2 straight over the water, which was only one stop. Just remember to validate your ticket by holding it up to the machine as you board, check the screens above the platforms which explain how to get where - just like a London underground map. There is a co-op about 5 minutes away from the hotel. Just typ

This youth travel is a chain. I lived in other places from Paris. The style is almost uniform, but I went there to evaluate it well, but it is also good, the facilities are perfect, I have it, and it is convenient in Venice. The train station is about 4.2 boats and 5 stops. There are not many people. The front is the main island. The station is just one stop away. Relatively speaking, the price is good in all aspects. It doesn't matter if you play. It is recommended to live in this home.

The Hilton on Judeka Island is really a very good choice. The life on the island is comfortable and quiet. On the edge is the residential area. People follow the water bus and experience the local life. The hotel is retro. Although the suites are large and the bathrooms are wide, the double standard rooms are also good enough for short trips. After all, the streets and streets of Venice's main island are probably enough to meet the freshness of two or three days. Only had breakfast and it was quite satisfactory. The traffic is not particularly convenient. You can take the water bus 4.1 in the Roman Forum or the train station to reach the island of Giudecca. The hotel is between the two stations and the walking time is about the same; 4.2 is the opposite direction and you can go to San Marco; of course You can also take Aliguana's LINE B. The hotel is a stop directly from the airport to the hotel. In view of the expensive one-way fares, you still have time to buy days tickets, it is strongly recommended to buy on the spot! I wo n’t tell anyone, I printed the tickets I bought in the country but I was swallowed, uh, Italians ... Anyway, the Hilton in Venice is worth going.

we stay at this site for 3 nights with our caravan the view of Venice was amazing the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful had a meal at the bar the first night not nice, i wont bother with again as only had one thing to eat on a small main menu of 3 items was told the other items are only available on weekends that was if you didn't want a burger or pizza , the mosquitoes had more of a feast on me then i had to eat.The boat to Venice was just 2 minutes away a 20 minute ferry ride and your in Venice which is an amazing city been they twice now looking forward to going back again next year. The toilet block isn't in the best location its beside the bar and restaurant. The little shop was well stocked. There is no designated pitches its park where ever on the grass areas.

5 mins walk from Marco square and in a quiet and very pretty part of Venice. The bedrooms are quite small but we didn’t spend too much time in our room. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for the last 3 days. It wasn’t our original hotel, we’d booked Hotel Alcyone closer to Rialto however upon arrival was informed the hotel was due to close and we’d been moved to an alternative. Nothing like a bit of prior warning! So upon arrival, all seems ok. Beautiful building inside and out. The room We had (218) had a lovely Venetian feel about it, tv, sofa bed, shower, safe etc. Breakfast was included. There was plenty to choose from including hot food, fruit salads and a selection of breads, pastries and fresh yoghurt. However, be aware of the staff. Hospitality isn’t their strong point and the manners from most are left at home before coming to work. The hotel advertises the bar is 24 hours. Well I suppose it is in the sense you can go to it at all hours. Just don’t expect any service. Today 29th Jan, at approx 1pm before heading to the airport we thought we’d go back and collect our luggage and have a coffee before leaving. We asked for 2 coffees to be told ‘ no coffee, we’re not doing coffee’. That was it, no further explanation, no offer of anything else, not even a glass of water. They really shouldn’t be advertising the bar area as 24 hours if they can’t be bothered to man it 24 hours. It came across as rude and quite frankly made the staff appear lazy. Ah, and wedge a chair against your room door if you don’t want the cleaner to come in unannounced every morning. Don’t bother with the do not disturb button as they take no notice!

First, a huge thank you to Alessandro for shipping my gloves to Canada after my departure - I had purchased lovely Italian leather gloves on my trip and I forgot them in my room. He made sure I got them within a few days! Incredible. I'd definitely recommend staying at Ca' Santo Spirito. It's on a quiet street, which makes for peaceful sleeps. It's also very close to multiple vaporetto (boat) stops and a short walk to everywhere you want to go. Breakfast is great and the room is very comfortable. The room we stayed in had a private external bathroom, which meant we had to walk through the lobby to get there - it can be a bit awkward when you're going to the shower in a towel and means you've got to get dressed if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Overall good. The location is suitable for both leisure and relaxation. The room is warm and the area is not enough. The breakfast included is very delicious. It is good for going out to play. fair price. Later, I will consider living here, and I will recommend and ask by other friends. I hope that the hotel will continue to maintain an excellent environment and serve the Chinese guests.

Hilton's breakfast is good, the environment is good, the hotel is outside the island, the location is relatively close, close to Venezia Mestre train station, and the hotel can provide car service, but the hotel is far from Venezia Santa Lucia train station (the train station On the island), you must arrange transportation according to your own transportation. You can take public transportation on the upper reaches of the island. The hotel gate is the station, but be careful not to bring your luggage. The roads on the island are narrow and the road is uneven. The arch bridges are stairs. Imagine the sourness of the suitcase!

We spent a long weekend at The Sina Centurion Palace and it was delightful. I loved the setting of the hotel, in the quiet district of Dorsoduro, on the Grand Canal. The building from the canal side is beautiful and has two lovely terraces right on the canal. It is conveniently situated close to the Salute water stop for the water taxi, or you can use one of the private taxis that the hotel will arrange for you. On arrival we were greeted by name and the staff were extremely friendly. Our room was not ready, however, it was a hot day and we had been travelling since 3.00am, so I asked if it would be possible to get a room earlier. Ten minutes later our room was ready. The room was a Superior room, so large and very stylish, with a large freestanding bath at one end and an enormous, most comfortable bed at the other end. We had a court yard view, which was nice. I expect that the Canal facing rooms are more expensive. The bathroom, though small, was very well equipped with more than enough towels, and a great variety of amenities, which had been very well thought out. Bathrobes and slippers; enough coat hangers and space to put clothes and shoes. The shower was a bit of a disappointment – more style over substance but a relatively minor issue. We had lunch on the terrace the first day, which was nice, again staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was served at the table, in the dining room, due to the Covid situation and I should imagine if we were in normal times that there would have been a large buffet. We were not able to help ourselves, but were served at the table, by again extremely friendly staff, although the menu was not extensive. The area was quiet and very close to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. There are many delightful squares and restaurants with enchanting bridges across the canals. We found it an easy walk from the hotel to San Marco, via the Academia Bridge, however, with the water taxi stop so close by, you could jump on the water taxi at any stage. We bought a three-day pass, which was reasonable and was quite interesting to see everyday Venetians going about their daily lives. On our second day, the concierge arranged a trip to Murano for us. We took a private water taxi from the hotel to the Island, where we were shown the glass blowing process and given an extensive tour of the factory with all the beautiful glass objects. This craft has been in existence since the 15th century. The craft is handed down through the generations.

Well, this place really is awesome. It seems to sit in the middle between hostel and hotel. As you can see from the attached photo, it’s quite modern compared to other buildings around it. It amazed me how similar it was to the photos online! It’s amazing considering what you’re paying for. I honestly would rather stay here again if I was in Venice than a hotel. When I arrived, I notified the staff I wasn’t well and they put me in my own dorm at no extra charge. It’s safe to say I’ve been able to recover way better that way. Generally speaking the staff have been really helpful - giving me food recommendations, changing over my money for the laundry and even just for a general chat! The hostel also seems to attract travellers who are really nice - I’ve had a few nice conversations with people in the lifts. It’s unfortunate I was so ill during my stay otherwise I would have made more of an effort to meet people and take part in their nightly events. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the food on site but I’ve heard it’s good. Don’t worry too much about the location.. it’s super close to the station and about a 10 minute ride into the main island of Venice. If you’re looking for a hostel in Venice, look no further than Anda. Yes, it’s not in the touristy part... but I reckon that’s a really good thing!

From the moment we walked through the door (at 00:50hrs in the morning after a long 16 hour journey) we were greeted by Silvia, an extremely helpful receptionist, offering us a drink of Prosecco whilst we checked in. Silvia gave us a lot of really useful information straight away, and settled us into our beautiful room. The location is right on the Grand Canal, closest water bus stop is just a few minutes walk away, and it's right next to the Rialto bridge, surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars right from the front door. Breakfast is good, although trying to get breakfast room service was a bit of a challenge with one particularly rude and abrupt staff member, but this is the only complaint I had. There is a bar on the 3rd floor with a wonderful balcony view across Venice and the Grand Canal. A good selection of Wines, Beers, Cocktails and snacks is available, as dinner is not available in the hotel. The room is high quality decoration, luxury bedding and a good range of toiletries and lovely towels, bathrobes and slippers. If we return to Venice, this would be our choice of accommodation.

My family had plans to visit Hotel Delfino this summer. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, our airline carrier canceled flights from the USA to Italy for the summer. We have messaged the Hotel several times to request a refund and the hotel would not allow this. When i asked to speak to the manager to explain our circumstances and that we can not travel to Italy and simply want a refund due to extreme circumstances, we got told we are not allowed to talk to the manager. In addition, we called the Hotel and were talked to very rude and inappropriate and yelled at. The customer service here is not professional at all and the hotel not only won't refund us, but they will not allow us to talk to the manager and when we call, we got yelled at. In addition, the man on the phone told us he would "PUNCH US IN THE FACE." I am shocked by this. I have never experience this type of customer service for simply asking for a refund during a national pandemic. I don't understand this hotel and deeply regret ever booking here. Not only wont they wont let us talk to the manager but we got threatened. Please do not visit here anytime soon because they are not understanding about the economic, social and physical issues surrounding the current pandemic.

Pros Elite Recognition: Elite status recognized and due benefits delivered. Love it when hotels deliver on due elite benefits. Location: The location is superb. You are right on the canal and minutes away from San Marco Square. Great eating joints nearby, coffee places etc. Hospitality: Excellent hospitality all around. Everybody was great. Breakfast: The breakfast is very good. Good number of options for vegetarians. Riva Lounge: Loved sitting on the deck of the Riva Lounge for drinks. The view from the deck of the lounge is breathtaking. Areas of Opportunity For the Riva Lounge, would be great if they offer preferred table reservations for house guests. This would resulted us in visiting the lounge much more often.
