The room is as comfortable and warm as ever, and the hotel-style hotel is also fully equipped. Unfortunately, there is no time to use the kitchen. The hotel has a buffet breakfast. The happiest thing is to watch the World Cup while eating breakfast.

I planned a getaway to attend a Garlic Festival with friends. It just didn’t work out so they could attend so I relaxed around the hotel for the weekend. The hotel is situated in a great location for walking, jogging, and is walking distance from several popular dining establishments. I was able to keep up my morning walk routine in a safe and lovely environment. This is a chain hotel that is clean, everything works, and I can count on the brand. I really enjoyed my stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights during the pandemic. When we checked in, the desk clerk was very nice and told us that we would only have housekeeping if we needed it on an as needed basis. We said we were fine without it. I asked about the workout room. Due to the covid-19 regulations, it was closed, but they could open it up on an individual basis so that one person could workout at a time. I never chose to do it. The rooms were sealed with a sticker to prove that after they cleaned it and sanitized it, no one had been in our room. Room was clean and cool. Breakfast was as good as it can be during these times. Hotel wasn't allowed to have a buffet, so they put out sacks that you just grabbed. They labeled each bag of its contents: orange, granola bar, danish, and bottle of water. It sure was better than nothing! And the front desk clerks made sure everything was wiped down all the time, including the coffee spigot. The front desk clerks were very, very nice. My mask broke one day and they were nice enough to give me a replacement. Very, very nice! Would stay here again!

I surprised my husband with a long romatic weekend at this hotel. Everything was great from check in to check out. The staff is amazing and we really enjoyed the social hour. My husband liked buffet breakfast. I was still asleep and he was told he couldn't bring me any food. The rooms were nice and we loved just relaxing and watching tv on the sofa. We wanted to go swimming, but the pool was too cold. Tho only downfall was when I went to take a bath I noticed the grout and and fixtures had mold around them. I expected a clean bathroom and made me think that if I can see this what can I not see especially with the threat of the Coronavirus. I ended up just taking a shower with my flip flops on. I can say the water pressure was nice. I'm not sure I'll go back to that one, but will continue to try another Embassy Suites.

My husband and I booked Jacuzzi room C4 for the night before and night of our wedding at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in October. The staff were super helpful with all of my questions about the space, and they allowed us to use their meeting room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready- so that way our photographer could switch between the men in the meeting space, and the women who were getting ready in our hotel room. They were so warm, friendly and accommodating to all of our requests and they even left a cute ‘just married’ sign on our room door to surprise us when we returned from our wedding. The room is great, well decorated, very spacious with a huge bathroom and walk in closet. The bed was very comfortable, and I am really picky about beds so that is saying a lot coming from me. They have several different breakfast options like fruit, granola bars, bagels and cream cheese, etc, which we were thankful they had available. There is no microwave in the room, but there is one available downstairs in the main lobby. Overall we would absolutely recommend the Orenco to anyone, especially if you are getting married at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse and are looking for an awesome place to stay for your wedding. We can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our stay great :)

Its Marriott’s version of an extended stay Residence Inn, at economy size, value, and nightly rate. Its substantially less $ than a RI. My son and I stayed a Friday and Saturday night. The location was nice, central to most everything, heavily treed, blended in with adjacent neighbors and townhouses, and very close to the Intel factory. The King room was puny, probably ok for 1 person for extended stay but would get crowded after a while with 2 or more. I wouldn’t consider using the sofa that converted to a bed. Maybe a young child, certainly not a teenager or adult. The airco unit was a bit finicky, but we jimmied with it and figured out how to make it work right. We missed the Saturday morning breakfast because the server “didn’t come in“ and the front desk person tried to help out. We couldn’t wait so we left disappointed and hungry. Next morning there was a person working in the breakfast area, not personable but not rude. The cheese omelettes were good and there was decent selection of other items including a fresh pot of sticky rice. Coffee good quality, variety of juices, and had a waffle maker. We were gone almost all day Saturday and when we returned around 5PM we saw that our room had not been cleaned. We were getting ready to leave for dinner an hour later when the maid knocked on door. Mumbled something above “someone not coming in” so she had to do extra. The poor woman looked absolutely exhausted. We just got fresh towels so she could go home, no big deal to us. Our stay was ok and uneventful except the few noted items. But we will probably pay a little more next time and stay in one of the newly built hotels that are springing up in the area.

Several times I got to my room at the end of the day and it hadn't been cleaned. First time, I complained at the front desk. They apologized saying several employees hadn't shown up for work and the remaining ones had too many rooms to clean. As an inconvenience they would give me an extra 1000 points. I understood their plight, they awarded me the extra points, everything was forgotten. A few days later on a Saturday the room hadn't been cleaned again. I took it as another day where staff had skipped work so I didn't complain. The following day the room wasn't done and even though I'm flexible I started wondering if this situation was going to repeat itself over and over. I went to the front desk where I talked to what looked like a manager and she informed me for the first time that in order to get the room cleaned on weekends patrons have to literally request it. More apologies because no one warned me and arrangements were made to clean it the following day. On said day I arrived to the room, but it hadn't been cleaned again. At the front desk, the same person (manager?), which had assured me the previous day that my room would be cleaned told me "Not only I'm gonna give you 2000 extra points but also Naomi here, will personally do your room." I don't know if Naomi is a "super maid" or something but I was starting to get upset due to the accumulation of small annoyances at this hotel. One such annoyance is that at breakfast there was always something missing such as bacon or other main food. The eggs were there but people had to go ask for the rest and the answer was always "I'll get it in 10 minutes". The thing is people need to go to work and plan their breakfast time accordingly. Hot water and other essentials were always missing. Towards the end we were getting fruit in plastic cups (because of the coronavirus) but the melon was so old it was sour. This happened several times. By the way, I never got the promised 2000 points. Service at this hotel was bad on all fronts. Moreover, the rooms (at least mine) have a weird set up where the TV is against a side wall but there's nothing to sit in front of it. No chairs, bed or anything.

July 2020 stay. First the positives. I love the Marriott brand and typically try and choose Marriott hotels for personal and business travel. The location of this particular hotel is excellent. I love the Tanasbourne area of Hillsboro and the hotel is right in the middle of all kinds of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful during check in. We carried our luggage into the room and discovered a Goldfish cracker, cracker crumbs, and the wrapper on the floor near the trash can. We initially thought maybe it fell out when the cleaning person was emptying the room can into their cart trash can. My wife told the front desk about it when she went back out to the car. We were given the option to change rooms if we wanted, which was nice. But we had been driving for 8 plus hours and didn’t think it was that big of a deal and just wanted to eat, relax, and go to bed. We started settling in with take-out food we picked up just before arriving at the hotel. We moved the ottoman and found another Goldfish cracker wrapper, crumbs, a cheerio, and a pop cycle stick. So, we were a little surprised cleaning didn’t check under the ottoman when they cleaned the room. Then my wife found a sticky substance on one of the nightstands, possibly from a sugary drink? There also no disinfectant wipes in the room, which should have been in the room according to the Marriott website as part of their COVID precautions. With these things added up, it made us wonder how well the room was actually cleaned. I am not super paranoid about COVID-19, but I would like to have the rooms cleaned somewhat thoroughly even without COVID issues. Below is information from the Marriott website statement - “ Commitment to Clean As we welcome you back to our hotels around the world, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, our Marriott Cleanliness Council is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates. Guest Rooms In guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. And we will be placing disinfecting wipes in each room for your use.” The next morning, I was out walking the dog and noticed the landscaping around the hotel was in pretty bad shape. In fact, I don’t think I have ever seen a Marriott with tall weeds, uncut grass, and blackberry vines growing where they shouldn’t be. What made it worse was the surrounding businesses and the city property was all very well maintained. The city grass between the street and the sidewalk was cut very nice, then the Marriott grass between the sidewalk and the hotel
