My family and I stayed for three nights for a short break during half-term. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and of good size. There was free parking and wifi. There were a few shops just right in front of the hotel where we could quickly and conveniently buy things (i.e. food) we needed. The hotel is not very far from Winchester town centre. We also enjoyed our time in visiting Southampton which is not very far from the hotel. On our way home, we enjoyed some shopping at the Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. We will stay again and will definitely recommend Days Inn by Windham Winchester M3 to relatives and friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights between Christmas and New Years. The hotel is part of a pub. We arrived and were greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. We weren't rushed at all. We were shown around and given a parking permit to enable us to park right outside on the street, which was very convenient. The bed was very comfy, the shower was warm and the 'breakfast' was adequate, but actually quite tasty. We ate here on the second night and the food didn't disappoint. There seemed to be a mix of locals and out of area visitors, which gave the place a great atmosphere. The drinks selection was much greater than your usual restaurant which again, was great. The hotel is very close to the high street and other sites in Winchester. Don't be put off by it's 'council estate' location, the pub and hotel will serve you well. I would definitely recommend.

The premier plus room we stayed in was a definate uograde from the standard room and would recommend. Whikst i had noted the restaurant was closed the day before my visit i got an email asking me to book a table to avoid disappointment. I emailed the hotel and got a direct response from a member of the hotel staff. When going down to dinner there was a very limited menu and you could either sit at a unmade table or take the food back to your room. We decided to sit at a table. We heard the ping of a microwave and then our food was brought out in a paper bag. Inside was a box and when you opened the flap the food. Pasta bolignaise was floating in the base of the box. The cutlery was cardboard and tge portion size was that of a slimming world meal. Wine was served in a tin. A very disappointing experience. I am sure that it cuts fien on staff cists and washing up. Until premier inn reinstated their full restaurant service i wull not be booking with them

We got married at the hotel on the 21 Feb 2020 and I could not fault the staff at all, from the moment we booked to the morning after the wedding day everyone was so attentive and helpful! Our coordinator, Sam, was amazing and made sure our day was absolutely perfect!! The room was beautiful and set up exactly how I imagined. One thing I would recommend is leaving the venue for a couple photos, we headed to Hyde Gate and the church down the road (2min walk) to take some photographs as there isn't much more than car park directly outside the hotel but what the hotel might lack in outside space it more than makes up for in amazing staff, food and beautiful rooms!

Me and a few friends decided to try out the Sunday roast menu at the Westgate hotel. We were hugely satisfied with the quality of the food and the service we received during our time here. The barman Alex gave us some brilliant beer and ale recommendations. He really knows his stuff. I personally enjoyed the pubs local ale (Westgate pale ale). I highly recommend it !! The menu provided a range of dishes, from traditional Sunday roast dinners to their “six nations burgers” (a unique concept in my opinion) I will definitely be coming back in the future to try more try different dishes! I was also impressed with the service from Peter and Charley, who had to deal with a few difficult situations during food service, but dealt with that really well. Overall I highly recommend visiting the Westgate for a lovely warm Sunday roast !!

My partner and I decided to stay here as a pick me up after a few bad days. From check in to check out everything was great to say the least. Our room was fantastic and was in theme with the rest of the hotel, kind of african safari lodge which was sweet. Even with a wedding on it was still very relaxed. We booked for dinner, then had a swim. Pool is small but good enough to just chill out in along with the jacuzzi and sauna room. Went to bar for drinks and evenwent for dinner early, no problems. Dinner was well explained to us and beautifully presented. The food was cooked to a standard I wouldn't have believed if just told about. Surprise amouse bouche course followed by our three choices. We chose duck and lamb for mains and each were beautiful. The lamb was on point with a melt in your mouth texture and the duck was suculent with crispy skin. I would like to thank Dan, George and Tom for providing an excellent service which we will come back for.
