My husband and I traveled and spent Thanksgiving with our family in Colorado Springs. My son’s home is 5 minutes away from hotel. We spent 4 nights at this property and the staff was polite and the rooms clean. Unfortunately, I realized on my way home I had left a new and expensive pair of pants in the hotel room drawer. Coincidentally, my husband left 2 sweaters in the closet and they were returned and picked up by a family friend who was also staying at the hotel. I was told about the two sweaters when I called to have them locate my pants. Oddly, they could not locate my pants . I made several calls to the hotel before they assured me that they were not found. They did ,however, inform me ( after I specifically asked)that the 20$ I left for housekeeping was found and the nightstand drawer ( which my pants were in ) was open. I was sincerely remorseful and quite nice considering I am positive that the J Brand pants were left there . I have never received a call or any communication from the hotel expressing any concern. I worked in hotels for years and understand that customer is not always right. However, I know FOR SURE they were removed from our room. Sad to think that there is an employee at this hotel who helps themselves to a guest’s property. Even sadder that management doesn’t feel compelled to make things right with a guest. Something I forgot to mention , when they had someone check the room again ( because I kept calling) they did find a 20$ necklace I left in bathroom and sent it to my home. I opened the envelope hoping to find some accommodation for the incident. Nothing ! The necklace was taped to a piece of paper and they didn’t even write a little note saying they were sorry that i am missing something. Just so unprofessional. Finally, I waited over a week to post this , hoping the management would follow up and offer me some sort of accommodation. They did not.

A series of misadventures that was supposed to be a fun family/anniversary trip. When we arrived to check in we got our keys and headed up to our room. Not really like what the pictures portrayed. Supposed to be a king suite but I have had regular hotel rooms with more space. We were supposed to have a crib in our room and there wasn't one. I went down to request one and was brought up a pack and play. Our LO would not sleep in it not matter what we tried so he ended up in the bed. My husband and I thought we would have a nice cozy large king size bed to stretch out in and that was just the first in a lost of issues. Bed was very hard and pillows were either too soft or too flat. The sheets and blankets were ok but not very warm, had to get extra blanket from the closet and it was barely twin sized. If the air was on the room was freezing, if it was off it got hot really quickly. There was an odd brown stain on the couch. They should advertise that suites are adjoining. We did not know and did not like that we and are 6 month old were just a door away from other people. Breakfast was decent although the options were definitely limited. That one we let pass since it is a pandemic. Coming back from breakfast though, I tried using the elevator and it never came down. The light would come on if I pushed the button but then it just shut off. We were on the 3rd floor so up the stairs I went with arms full of breakfast and hot coffee. We booked a non refundable trip because it was a good price but we really wish we hadn't now. The hotel's location is not ideal either, it's basically on the tarmac of the airport. We didn't hear noise from the airport since we sleep with a sound machine. So with no sleep and unmet expectations we aren't even sure we will stay the other night we booked. Definitely a let down of a trip we were so looking forward to.

While vacationing in Colorado Springs, stayed 2 nights at the Quality Inn near the airport since we had an early flight. We were promised a shuttvle would pick us up around 9 o'clock from the airport to the hotel. After waiting, it was finally decided that a taxi would come and get us and the hotel would pay for it. The taxi driver refused to wait and we had to pay for it ourselves , but the hotel did reimburse us. We had a 5:45am shuttle arranged on the morning we left, no shuttle, no Uber , finally a taxi showed up at 6:15. The hotel itself was fine. The staff were nice and the rooms clean. My biggest issue was that the staff kept saying that a shuttle was no problem yet it apparently was. No point in advertising something if it is not readily available.

I probably won't waste my time or money on any other hotel again when in the area. We had a queen studio room on the first floor, 2 adults 3 kids. We fit perfectly as every room comes equip with a pull out couch. They we're courteous to us by giving us a room on the first floor (so you don't have little feet running overhead you keeping you awake.) The staff was just very well rounded and make you feel like you we're the only guest there. 10/10 would recommend! My family and I will defiantly be back soon! Our room (122) was conveniently located at the back door on the first floor. This was convenient for me as a smoker and convenient for the family to quickly load/unload without the hassle of dragging my Terrible 2-year-old and 3eenager across the hotel disrupting other guests. Overall I have almost no negatives other than location. (unless you are utilizing the Airport) but for leisure it can prove to be drive for restaurants but everything else is close such as a shopping mall with a Family Dollar, Walgreens, and even a Smoker's Friendly

Breakfast was great. My stay was great it was me my wife and my daughter. Room was very clean and taken cared of. I suggest telling the front desk to have housekeeping clean room if not up to standards. Unlike these other reviews my stay was good. No problems whatsoever. Very friendly staff. I guess it’s a hit or miss but my stay was definitely great.

My group was in Colorado Springs for a skating competition and we were supposed to stay at another hotel down the road. When we arrived at the other hotel, we found it unsafe and uninhabitable, so I started calling Hilton hotels in the area. Ricardo and Marina in the Sales department were able to get my group in, along with another, larger group from the other hotel. The rooms looked new and the hotel was very clean. We spent a lot of time in the lobby working and there was always someone cleaning and refilling beverages. The entire staff was welcoming and went above and beyond for our whole stay. I cannot say enough about the property and if I'm ever in Colorado Springs, I will definitely stay again.

A colleague and I booked this hotel because it was near our business activities. We assumed that the photos provided by the hotel and the proximity to the Air Force Academy meant the descriptions were accurate. On arrival, there were two vehicles parked in the lot that were clearly being lived in. There were four cars parked in the entry area that appeared to be either inoperable and damaged. The attendant who helped us with check in was friendly. However, the lobby was littered and there was a sign stating that breakfast was temporarily suspended. The elevator was also littered and missing a portion of tile on the floor. Our rooms were not stocked with toilet paper, cups, coffee, stirrers, creamer, shampoo, or washcloths. Despite there being a sign at reception noting that a $150 fine would be imposed, there was a strong cigarette smoke odor in the hallway to our rooms. The walls were dirty. There were holes in the blackout curtains. There were scrapes and scratches all over the furniture. Once turned off, the TV would not reconnect to channels. There were stains on the shower curtain, and what appeared to be a burn on the tub. The top sheet of the bed had a visible burn hole. There was garbage on the floor next to the bedside table. The bathroom was missing the toilet paper holder and holes were left on the wall. In an attempt to drown out the noise, we turned on the wall unit but had to quickly turn it off because it sounded like it was broken. During the night, we were woken up by a barking dog on our floor who barked for at least 5 minutes each time. On sharing our displeasure with the reception desk, we were offered another room, but on inspection, the second room was in no better shape! We asked for a refund and were told that we were not eligible for a refund as described in our purchases from Hotels.com and Agoda.com. I am happy to provide photos we took of the facility.

The good: staff was helpful and efficient and friendly. Lobby & breakfast area seemed newly remodeled? Breakfast on Saturday was good and well stocked. Plenty of TV channels. Great water pressure in the shower. AC worked good. Well located off the highway and near shopping. The bad: it’s a non-smoking hotel but every where was a faint scent of cigarette smoke. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable. Worst I’ve slept on in a long time. There was some cigarette burn marks on the comforter. Couch had several big stains. Bath tub drained very slowly, so while taking a shower you were standing in ankle deep water. Shelf in bathroom seemed to be barely attached. TV was smaller than most hotel rooms. There was a grab bar in the shower that was mounted exactly where you stand so every time you moved you bumped into it. Breakfast on Friday was “grab and go” with just a couple of options to grab from. The hotel sits near a busy road and there was some road noise. We’d give it 2.5 out of 5 if that was an option. We probably would not stay there again.

This was not a very good hotel stay. I do not expect high quality from an Econolodge, but I do expect minimum quality. The room numbers aren’t laid out very well, for instance room 321 is the opposite end of the hall from 322. The hotel ice machine was broke and the hotel only had one ice machine. There were remodel materials laying out all over the hall and the rooms were extremely outdated. I would not suggest this hotel, unless you were on a tight budget, it’s clean enough for a one night stay.

Went to visit our granddaughter at the academy. Hotel is perfectly situated and convenient to anything you could need during your stay. Our granddaughter was able to get an overnight pass and the hotel was very gracious in accommodating her. It has a nice lobby area with very comfortable seating so you are not limited to visiting in your room. The rooms and beds were comfy (soft seating in the living area could stand an update). The hype about their omelette is well-deserved. Some of the best omelettes I've had with a nice selection of options. The rest of the food was more standard fare, but yummy and lots of little extras like fruit and whipped cream for the waffles. We did not use the pool because it was a little too noisy for us with lots of kids, but it looked very nice and the kids were having a great time. They weren't out of hand by any means and it appeared they were all supervised by adults, but just a little too noisy for a couple of seniors and 10 PM (no kids after 10 PM) was a little late for us. It's nice that the pool is open 24 hours, though. Was a little disappointed that the ping pong table was broken, but overall this will be our go-to for future visits and it was nice enough that I'd still give it 5 stars even with those minor distractions. The staff and service were great and very friendly. Never felt like we were bothering them if we had a question or needed something.

Couldn’t drive home due to inclement weather but am thankful to have found this affordable and clean property. Javier was incredibly friendly, patient and professional checking all of us in. The rooms were clean, the heated pool was perfect after the freezing temps outside & the hot breakfast is a great start to the day. Pet friendly and discounts offered at the 3 nearby (walking distance) restaurants. FYI: 3rd party bookings result in a much higher deposit hold but direct bookings are far more reasonable at $50 and usually cheaper overall for the guest and the property.

We have been regular guest at this hotel. This place offer very good service from the front desk to the housekeeping. We are particularly pleased with the manager for the day, Jovanni. She has gone out of her way to help us to settle in and also to ensure that our needs are met. This hotel is well situated with a relatively big shopping area just opposite the facility. We can literally walk across a Main Street and access the shopping area. Something that is not very common in the USA.

This facility has changed managers and staff in the past few months. What was once a trustworthy and nice place to stay has become a less than desirable place for guests and families. We had 2 rooms reserved for several months before our arrival. Upon arrival the check-in was typical and although it was late evening our rooms were fairly close to each other. Our room turned out to be less than neat. It appeared the maids had been in a hurry and the beds were very poorly made. There were hairs on floor in bathroom. My son had dropped an item on the floor beside the bed and when he bent down to retrieve it he discovered a green cocaine bottle and a large toenail. We then pulled covers to bed back and determined this room perhaps wasn't cleaned at all. Front ask staff was notified and we were informed they were booked and wasn't sure what to do (also remote was missing was offered new one but they had no batteries until Tuesday or so). She called another young woman who was very distressed and explained she shouldn't have accepted the job because she was a housekeeper and our pictures and problem was definitely not correct. After being unable to reach the TH she stated to the clerk she was just going to make a decision and show us 2suite rooms to choose one from. The clerk showed us the first one and to ours and her eyes there were ants crawling on the floor. The second room had a distinct urine odor (animal) by the bed. We had checked with our friends who said there room appeared to be "OK for the night. The clerk said she could clean the urine spot with some cleaner and we wouldn't notice it. Since it was late and most places were filled we said we would take it. Next morning my son and I both woke up to bites all over our legs and itching like crazy. My son was irrate, we pulled sheets back took more pictures and found particles of questionable things plus my son had urine stains in several places on his mattress pad. He immediately went to office where he was told the manager would be in later but they didn't know when. We stayed we would not be staying in either room .We agreed to wait awhile while we and our friends packed up. While we were doing so the clerk called back and said she was just going to give us our money back and would cancel the 2nd night on both rooms. They apologized and said the GM wasn't there yet. We never spoke with him and it was several days before my son got it straightened out. This was a sad thing to see happen at what was a nice place for many years past.

The city center has a long history of economical hotels recently, old facilities but still have basic functions to meet general requirements. I especially received the care of the hotel landscape big sister and recommended a room with a simple kitchen on the second floor. There are some basic kitchen pots and pans where you can cook some meals for yourself, suitable for travelers with special needs. A walk to the city center. There is a privately operated motorcycle museum in the city center that is worth visiting for free. There is a Mackenzie' s Chop House Steakhouse with a decades-old history and many years of honors and awards. Restaurant bars are everything you can find to walk to from the hotel.

We’ve been traveling non-stop since our retirements (now up to 900 Marriott nights and over 900,000 Hilton points) – so when we say this is quite possibly the best RI in the whole country, we have plenty to judge from. Start with Front Desk Warren, who greets you warmly and efficiently, explaining in detail all the hotel’s finer points (and there are plenty). Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. every day, with helpful staffers getting for you whatever you choose from a posted menu: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurts, bagels and breads, juices, individual milk cartons, fresh apples and oranges, protein bars -- and of course self-serve coffee in the lobby. Your items are packaged so you may take back to your room or eat in the spacious dining area. The fitness room is massive, with free weights, kettlebells, 2 benches, Bosu balls, the usual machines (including 3 treadmills), plus a water dispenser and a scale. Lots of towels, too. Adjacent is a computer and printer. Outside is a basketball court and outdoor grill and the grounds are spotless (as are the hotel’s hallways). We had the 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath Suite (shower in one, tub in the other) with screened windows that open for a breeze. The hotel is 4 floors (113 rooms), so there are fantastic views no matter where your room is. Every single staffer makes it clear he or she is there to insure your hotel happiness. Somebody at the top sure knows how to run this show. Nicely done, GM Chris! Yours is now our go-to hotel for our return trip to Colorado Springs. Thank you to you and your fine team for the exceptional Marriott hospitality!

The hotel was a nice place to stay for one overnight. The check in was easy and not much information provided by the staff. The room was a king bed and a nice sized room. Everything in the room looked new and a large TV was nice. There was medium sized refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. I was on the 3rd floor and there was no ice machine, only on the 2/4 floors. There is an airport shuttle but only on Monday - Friday, which I didn't like. Next door is another Holiday Inn and they have an airport shuttle, but same thing only Monday - Friday. I think it would make sense to have 7 day shuttles with overlapping days so they could have 7-days a week coverage, that would be my suggestion. Would be higher ratings in my opinion if they had 7 days. The breakfast wasn't much and a to go grab bag. Again, I understand this isn't a 5 star place. The room was nice though, Holiday you are almost there but not quite.

During our recent stay at the Rodeway Inn on Platte & Murray in Colorado Springs we were grateful for the professionalism exhibited by all the staff there. Sadie, the delightful young woman at the front desk made us feel like we were the only guests there. We saw her so much that we wondered if she resided there; when asked she just chuckled. She always had a smile and an answer for inquiries of any nature, the local eateries, entertainment, shopping, etc. She put Google to shame. She is a shining star at the Rodeway Inn & an asset to the company. We will return to this location because of Sadie.

We are crossing the continent by car and have stayed mostly at hotels x including three Courtyard Marriotts, each at least 500 miles from the others. Based on this sample, the experience has been consistent, but not favorable. The following comments are true os each of our stays, including this one - 1. Abundant evidence of deferred maintenance. Plumbing seems to be a problem area. 2. High prices prevail, at this unit most of all. 3. Breakfast experience is not good. Every breakfast option is extra charge - including coffee. At most units, items for sale are strictly a La carte and costly. Some indication that policy regarding plastic menu items may be changing with hand prepared menu items being added. But still entirely extra charge - even for Marriott Gold Bonvoy members. 4. One unneeded morning experience - Fox News loud stifling conversation. At these prices, I should be allowed to have my own political identity without Marriott right wing propaganda. General statement - Courtyard Marriott is a brand geared to those customers old enough to remember when the name meant something.

Everything went great! Front desk and breakfast staff, working hard and friendly smiles. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and lots of towels. Our room was a king suite, had Everything we needed and beautiful views. Bed, bedding and pillows were comfortable, All white, soft and clean. Room was fresh and cleaned well. The overall hotel was family, dog, couple and business travelor friendly. I will stay here again and recommend. Location is perfect, close to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and 3 good restaurants and a Circle K within the parking area. Nothing negative, we had a good trip and this Best Western was at the top of the list for us.

We came in to work an event at Broadmoor in the beginning of April. Our group of about 10 people were treated with incredible customer service. Will, Diana and Nick were over the top accommodating. The free continental breakfast was very varied and the ingredients were fresh. The ladies setting up the breakfast were also wonderful and friendly and made sure our group had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here next time we have business in the area!
