Found this property on Booking.com. They had good reviews and to be honest I was just looking for a low rate. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find it modern and well maintained. The rate I got was more than excellent for the value. I am in Germany every year in February or March and I will probably be returning to the Park Inn for my stay.

Visit in (Corona-) Summer 2020-Terrassenzimmer ”Green” Location: However, the city centre is quietly located (* with limitation) *At this time the directly opposite large construction site (cars sometimes directly before the entry of the deep garage) was in the final stage. At 7 p.m., the flat craftsmen dropped large stones on the loading surface of a kipper, which lasted a wake call over the phone wacker. However, the building site also had a surprising advantage, so that in the evening in this corner (by the building site-gate-block of the Prütznitzstr. of the entry of the Bautzner Str.) in this lively scene district, with many “freisizens” in the summer of the small sticks where there is already a certain noise level, The theatre's game bar and restaurant was completely closed in summer 2020, so it was very quiet in the evening in the direct environment (which may be completely different in the “normal operation”! ) Rooms: booked was a terrace room, of which there is in Hotel 3 (green, yellow, lila). All are located in the upper floor (no lift in the house). Unfortunately it is not so easy to find where the respective room is located, or how the geographical orientation is. Therefore, here is a short overview. “Lila” is backwards with the north-west orientation to the prügnitz and probably the most quiet and “greenest”. “Yellow” is south-east, With view of the (without Corona?!) Innerhof/Freisitz and access to the deep garage. “Green” has a south-west orientation with view of the Jewish cemetery and view of the Louise road, in which Zenit directly falls under the sun in summer. The room is Clean and on the terrace you can make a nice glass to sound day or night. Shower (in fact standard) was not available and should be brought with. Wi-Fi was disturbed (but in repair), but you had full LTE reception. The bed in the terrace room is very flat and low, which is certainly no problem for younger people, for older people maybe already. Furthermore, the “corners” very loading and you can be able to hit your leg there, liked to be repeated;-) breakfast buffet standard meets it best. Yes, in principle everything you need, but also not “specially” or “raffined” and for €14 per person additionally, no good price-performance ratio. When undercover there is no buffet! You must specify what you like to have breakfast and then get served. Alternatively, there are also various locations in the environment where you also have a delicious Parking: free parking in this area is balanced with gold, giving a clear recommendation for the deep garage (+7-€ per day). good location (swiftly in the scene district, but also on the Elbe),

This hotel is in a charming traditional baroque area of the Neustadt rather than the tourist dominated Altstadt. The area is quiet and our room especially so because it overlooked the inner courtyard. Bedrooms are a good size with traditional styling matching the era of the building. Our bathroom was adequately equipped but disappointingly small for a hotel of this quality. Our main, and fundamental, criticism of this hotel was that breakfast was not available in its own breakfast room as stated on its website and booking confirmation. It was instead provided at the neighbouring sister hotel, the Bulow Palais; fortunately for us the weather was chilly but fine for the morning 150m walk. The enhanced Palais breakfast was superb, with exemplary table service for cooked meals and a huge variety of delicacies at the buffet. It was provided at the Residenz price but that does not make this unannounced change acceptable. With online communications available, we should at least have been told about the changed breakfast arrangements in advance; failure to communicate is unacceptable in this standard of hotel. Accordingly, and at best, we can therefore only rate it average.

We stoped there (with a reservation) for the night while driving further for our holidays. The hotel, which is part of the Relais & Châteaux brand, is nice enough. However, I am not sure I would warrant is the Palais title: the outside, while nice, doesn't look exceptional in any way when compared with the surrounding: it looks like a big house - while the inside is modern and doesn't make you think of a Palais. However, it was nice, clean and well kept. Regarding the service however, this is where my biggest issue lie. I've had the opportunity to visit several 5 star hotels so far, and this one was not was not on paar with most previous experiences - while they advertised valet parking, they did not provide this service for us - rather than offering to help us with our luggage, we had to ask for their help. No welcome drink either, and we're not asking for much: a simple glass of water offered during check-in would have been enough. I've seen better in 4 stars. The hotel restaurant however was very nice, and their tasting menu lovely. I would eat there again.

We stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

In principle not bad. Except for the small things. We arrived at 14.45, settlement from 15.00. We were asked to wait, apologized for a glass of beer in the restaurant. But it was almost up to 16 that some tense. The room has no custom facilities in the bathroom. Only at the shelves and in the shower are two bottles of general purpose, you want - my hands, you want - body, you want - head. It's good that I took a hair conditioner for any case, otherwise from that water would go with a straw not to shave. The door was trying to come in the morning, although we had to release the room at 12. The door is right near the bed, that is, when the room is in, the cleaner sees what could have happened in the bed, that a few... Not very))) Otherwise, staff is sweet, welcome. Breakfast is good, room is clean

Location about 30Min with the city tram. Had Animod gift voucher (2 nights for € 149).Because it was our third gift voucher of Animod, we knew that nothing special would expect us. Extension night cost €99 excluding taxes. Price/(performance ratio is not true. Rooms (South) very hot. No air conditioning. TV very small. No refrigerator or mini bar. Cocktail seat cracked horriblely loud at the lowest movement and was exchanged after the 2nd complaint. The shower was defect. The shower head was always sliding down into the chest height as the attachment was broken. Two times advertised, without success. Dusch gel/shampoo empty after the first day. Not filled. Toilet cover (underside) has probably been little maintained in the past years. Plastic is now urine yellow. Breaked boxes have been replaced by roller belt. Crushing breads are not known there. Egg preparation must also have been taught. Eggs had very solid consistency every day. Hotel has 2 dining rooms. A small room, called restaurant, is for travelers and a room for the Ukrainians staying in the hotel. Due to the short seat offer for travelling guests, you had to decide on the day before whether to take a breakfast in the time window 06:30-07:30, 07:30-08:30 or 08:30-0ß9:30. On the last day we wanted to take breakfast at 06:30. The kitchen staff wanted to close a restaurant. When I asked at the reception then €20 for 2 people to have breakfast in the train station or dining car (have room cards and had to be on the train at a time) the young woman went down and reached that we could have breakfast, but without hot drinks.

On a positive note, the hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance to Dresden Mitte station and there is a tram service to the centre of Dresden less than 100 metres from the hotel. The designers of this hotel have spent too much time on aesthetics and very little on practicalities. The siting of the reception is so close to the lifts that it's almost impossible to get to the lift if there is someone standing at reception with bags and luggage. I was not acknowledged as a Gold member and after check in, the only person who bothered to say hello to me when passing reception was the barman. I booked a Premium City View room and although the room had a city view, it was far from Premium. In fact, I don't think I was allocated a Premium room. I knew the rooms are small at this hotel but you cannot access the mini bar (actually it's just a refrigerator) without sitting on the bed. The door of the fridge only just clears the bed. The full length mirror is also pointless as you cannot stand in front of it as the bed is in the way. Why was it sited here? As for the cleanliness of the room - it needed a thorough cleaning. There were stains on my sheets which looked like blood stains. The sheets were not changed in 3 days in spite of this. On the bathroom floor there were dried drops of blood which we not cleaned at all until I did it myself (again on the 3rd day) and the amount of dust on the desk was such that I could actually write my name on it. In fact the room was not even nearly clean and the cleaner needs re-training. I had looked forward to this trip for months but although I enjoyed Dresden, I would not recommend this hotel. There are far better ones in Dresden.

This hotel was chosen for its location near the old city. The hotel is new and everything is very bright and cheerful. The rooms are somewhat smaller than other Melia hotels, but this may be due to the Innside branding. However, the room certainly served us well. We could walk everywhere that we wanted in Dresden. It was also conveniently located near a Lidl grocery store where would get snacks and drinks. With its location to the Altstadt, there were restaurants everywhere. The Dresden Frauenkirche was just a few steps from the hotel. We booked our room with the included breakfast. The breakfast was very good, and there were adequate selections. Lovely hotel that has a restaurant not only serving a great breakfast for a super menu in the evening. More like a restaurant with a hotel! Great place to stay who want something more than a b&b. Location is not in the city centre, ca 20 minutes walk. But for this you enjoy being next to the Elbe river, lots of bars and restaurants along the river, nice for morning run or walking the dog, so not overrun or crowded as in the city centre. After booking, I immediately send an email to ask if I can allocate a room with a bathtub for you. I arrived at dawn and thought I could not check in, so I tried to leave the luggage. What is impressive is that even though I checked in early, the reception is very friendly. There are many sockets in the lobby, so it is very convenient to stop and charge your phone. In addition, I spent most of the time in Altstadt for a short weekend trip, and was able to walk to most of the attractions within 10 minutes. In particular, the Church of Our Lady is right in front of it. There are many restaurants and shops around the large square between the hotel and the Church of Our Lady, which is very suitable for dining. My husband and I were traveling with our young adult children and needed one room for all of us. This place fit the bill. We have a two bedroom apartment. The entire place was very modern and offered many amenities that we didn't have the opportunity or need to take advantage of. The location is excellent. You are right in the thick of things. The room was pristine and well equipped. The only thing that was odd - and we found it humorous - was the height of the bathroom mirror. My daughter and I are each just over 5 feet tall and could only see the top few inches of our heads - not our faces, our heads. I know Germans are generally tall people, but this was just silly. The kids stayed in a room with bunk beds that were very comfortable. We stayed in the room with the queen bed - also very comfortable. We didn't need cleaning services during our stay. Lots of great restaurant's nearby. Would definitely come back.

We had a Romantic Package from their homepage which included Dinner-Excellent! Everything was fine, quiet, breakfast good, nice staff, no problems, and yet, disappointing- no feeling of being in a great castle. The furniture was pine in our room which I associate with log cabins, not luxury & antiques. And being winter, the view out our window was roofs of Christmas Market stalls (separate admission), and not very colorful gardens. We also did not know that the castle would not be open until the end of March. However the early morning sun over the Elbe River was beautiful.

We stayed for one night in this hotel and we must have done something right, because we had an amazing room. The room was huge, with a separate table (great for playing board games) and an amazing view over the Elbe, on a 270-degree balcony. Room was quiet, the only drawback was that the bed for the third person, a collapsable sofa, was a joke, since it kept collapsing. We could fix it by putting a suitcase under the sofa, so it stayed ok for our son, but if it had been a grown-up this might have cause a major challenge. Also we were not happy that the sauna and the parking was charged extra and you had to inform the staff one hour in advance if you want to use the sauna. We had selected this hotel especially for the sauna since we like to warm up after a day of sightseeing, but 10 € per person is in my opinion a quite steep price. Apart from that this is a great hotel. Location is fantastic, good public transport to Dresden (tram going every 15 minutes during the day). Breakfast was good.

Slept like a log and rarely disturbed by any noises from the outside such as trams/motorbikes. Neither did I hear a thing from the adjacent rooms/the room on top of me. I suppose it's the addition of the inner room door that made the soundproofing better, and perhaps quality carpet was used. Aircon is great, with a great sized minibar. The hotel is located in a residential area, a short drive from the airport; it provides reserved parking along surrounding public streets. The building feels like a partly refurbished hotel taken over from another operator, with some elements being kept; that gives it a bit of a ‘used’ and ‘out-of-date’ character – although the important elements are new. Expect to receive a friendly and helpful service at the reception (contrary to feedback from other reviewers). The rooms have a reasonable room size, with a desk and a table; there is sufficient space for storing clothes for a few days. The beds are good; however, there is only one (soft) pillow type. The location offers a quiet night (proximity to the airport was not noticeable, even with an open window), and the curtains keep out the light well; overall, good conditions for a good nights’ sleep (until the other guests start leaving, that is). The bathroom has a small bathtub that can be used as a shower (no easy access…); there is sufficient space to store your toiletries, along with the usual amenities. The rooms are equipped with a large flatscreen TV; Wifi is free and of reasonable quality. There also is a free minibar with water, a soft drink, a juice, and beer. A decent breakfast buffet is served from 6.30 h until 10.30 h; the quality of the food is reasonable, and even includes the option to make yourself fresh waffles.

Best positive surprise on my whole trip. Very good location, not in the center but few steps to the train station Dresden-Neustadt, tramway in front of the hotel and also around the corner, 5 min to the Barock Viertel with lots of restaurants and bars and approx 15min walking right into the center/ old town. Very clean and modern rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly helpful staff and moderate rates.

I was assigned to the first room in the corridor. It was really noisy in the morning. The door of the corridor was very poorly soundproofed. Someone outside could hear clearly. The rooms are clean and the internet is in good condition. The location of the hotel is not far from the old town, you can walk to it. After paying money on Ctrip, I have to pay another city tax after arriving at the hotel. This is the first time I have encountered it in Germany.

The Achat is a little away from the center, but there is direct access to the public, so you can get to the city quickly. In the parking house I quickly found a free place. The room was clean and equipped enough for a night. Breakfast was not a nice, but OK. Conclude: Good value for a comparatively fair price.

We spent seven nights in Dorint Dresden for a private stay in Dresden. A major advantage of this hotel is its traffic-friendly location: the old town with its attractions is in a footing distance, the tram driving in Dresden at close distances holds almost outside the door. The hotel itself is not new, but the public areas make a well-treated impression and our standard room to the indoor courtyard on the second floor was clean, spacious and very quiet. The room design is originated from another time, which has not disturbed us, but modernisation should necessarily be accompanied by additional sticks. The service in the house was professional, the staff were friendly and accessible to the guests' concerns at any time. The breakfast offer was in line with the ”international standard” for a hotel of this category, the fresh egg food and the associated supplements were much better than in many other hotels. Critically, the great offer of sauce and bakery products in Dresden and the surroundings was only extremely limited - backbrushes, cutting etc. were acceptable standard products as they exist everywhere, But with which you don't even get off. Damn. The high prices in the deep garage (17 Euros per day) criticized in other reviews can easily be handled with a 10 Euro cheaper parking behind the hotel. However, this price policy is incomprehensible. On the house policy of non-cleaning of rooms for sustainability reasons, note: The daily cleaning of rooms can be logged in at check-in - you are explicitly asked by the receptionist - that then works without any mistake. It is only strange that Dorint does not give incentives to refrain from cleaning - targeting a bad consciousness is rather contraproductive. Finally, the daily opening of the bar in a well-booked hotel should be obvious. The bar staff makes a great job. Overall, Dorint Dresden is very recommendable for a short stay, even if there and there is still ”air up”. We would come back.

A well run hotel The location is spot on in the middle of Dresden. Easy to reach by car. If you book a Jr suite parking is included. Note the access to underground is a bit of a challenge if you drive a large SUV. You might ruin your rims on the way down. If you haven’t booked breakfast, note that it is 52 euro for two pr day. However, it is a splendid breakfast. We had a large room and all concerts at the town square was easy to enjoy. The front side rooms have good isolation from noise, AC first class and wifi function throughout. The gym is a disaster, small, no weights-to improve. The staff is very forthcoming and always aim to please.

The room on the 8th floor was very small but had a great view of Prager Strasse. The shower in the middle of the room was okay. The breakfast is terrific and leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately no fridge/minibar in the room...4 star level? We would still recommend the hotel... The price/performance ratio was also right. Parking rather limited or expensive... City location. Dresden is worth a trip.
