|15.18km from city centerI recently stayed at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights, and my overall experience was very good. Although I spent my time here solo, the hotel is well-suited for families as it offers a welcoming and comfortable environment.
The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. However, I did notice that the face and hand tissues were not replenished before my check-in, which was a small oversight that could easily be improved.
What truly stood out was the warm hospitality and attentiveness of the reception staff. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, which made the check-in and overall stay seamless.
The food is good and the band Brio at Stellar Bar was very much entertaining, loved the burger at Social Lounge Cafe too!
Overall, I had a satisfying stay and would recommend Mercure Hotel Barsha Dubai to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and good dining options in a convenient location. With a few minor improvements, this hotel has the potential to be exceptional.

|1.15km from city centerStayed at this hotel for the location close to my meetings , everything seem fine, I liked the gym even no body soap, no shampoo nothing , I found it pleasant, chilled cafe , I liked it , staff seemed friendly UP UNTIL one night after 10pm to my horror a member of the hotel pushed open the doors no knocking nothing , I just a shower so and was undress fully , he starred and froze at me until I need to shout to him so he close the door . The hotel manner of dealing with it was unbelievable the front of office manager Mr Hazem Mohammed stopped in the lobby to offer his apology I found that totally unprofessional and unacceptable, he then offered me to have coffee to which I refused. I demanded to know why the man came into my room where was he going why wasn’t he trained enough to comprehend to knock first .. the hotel would just say that he made a mistake for another room , for me that wasn’t good enough, they did nothing to show that they cared or wanted to make me feel better, they just brushed it off as if it was no big deal , for me it was ..I had to put my luggage in front the door Incase another man walked in without knocking during the night, slept with all the lights on . I really wanted to know why he came to my room why.. NO SOLID REASON 😔🤬
They refused to give a part refund or even a gesture they were concerned . Disgusting and bad management allow this to happen and they couldn’t wait for me to leave , when I came to check out they all made themselves looked busy, no one said anything, no one gave no eye contact , shame on you if you read this .
That’s not how you treat women that’s not how you make your guest feel, why you couldn’t give me a valid reason because you yourself don’t have one …

There was everything you need for a comfortable stay, there is a toaster, a coffee machine, capsules were brought every day, two bottles of drinking water, daily cleaning! The beach is a 10-minute walk away! Nearby is the embankment with a bunch of restaurants and cafes. Huge bed, we slept together with the child, there is a lot of space! There is a pool, but we never got to it, we were at the sea all the time)
Among the small minuses is the lack of slippers and for those flying from Russia, be sure to take adapters for the socket.

But don't get a room close to the entrance gate and road because cars and motorcycles will sleep deprive you all night. Very busy road as it goes down to the beach carparks with very loud cars and motorcycles going past all night until about 4am-5am. So request a room down the opposite end of the resort from the road and you should have an awesome stay. Resort has its own scuba diving courses, kite surfing lessons and wind surfing and paddle boards and stuff. It has a very good gym with top of the line gym machines and equipment and a very nice swimming pool area. Resort right smack bang on the beach. It has a nice sitting area where you can enjoy a meal and some drinks and look out at the ocean.

If you want to take the taxi, the hotels located on the wrong side of the traffic flow and therefore the taxi need to drive extra distance to turn back to the exhibition center.
Good side is that there's is convenient store at G floor of the hotel.

The price was very good and the quality was high. It is a very well located hotel near the Rigga metro station, there are many shops and restaurants nearby and obviously the parking service must be paid for the location. The breakfast was excellent for the price with variety and the essentials. Check in was quick, you must leave 200 aed or ID as support until your check out in case you damage something, it is understandable. The staff is very attentive and professional. I had no problems with noise, the room was large with everything I needed. I like that it has 3 elevators and you don't have to wait long. It really beats many expensive hotels. I recommend it and would return again, it is an ideal hotel for couples and tourists who want to explore Dubai.

The staff are very friendly, especially the Filipina waitress in the restaurant, the night manager at the front office, and the bellboy who assisted us with our luggage. |5.72km from city centerIt's a mixed bag, rooms are clean and tidy but furniture is old, some furniture is very old, for example the tv is from ps2 Era, no hdmi port, tv channels are analog and look like tvs from the 90s, the sofa was broken, they refused to repair it or replace it with another one, they offered a free extra bed for the baby as a compensation,which ruined the room and we had to ask them to remove it and preferred to use the broken sofa; it's not a good sign when your guest thinks sleeping on a broken sofa is the best option you have given them.
Staff is friendly but not all of them are experienced, for example, when I checked in I didn't have cash for the 300 dhz security deposit, so I used my debit card... it turned out that they hold the deposit with actually debitting, which works for credit cards but for doesn't for debit cards I still haven't been refunded the 300 and they didn't take responsibility for it even though the staff manager was involved... they said I should contact the bank, but it's their fault they should have asked if it was a debit or credit card. They even had the nerve to ask for 20 dhz for 1 broken glass and 1 broken cup (in reality those are cheap cup and glass that cost them like 1 dhz each), saying I needed to pay in order for them to issue a void command on their point of sale, which I did because it was only 20 dhz and I didn't have the time to argue, i hopes that someday 300 dhz will be refunded to my account.
Overall, it was an average experience given the price I paid, about 190dhz in April, which is not high season for Dubai and still not summer ... In summer It needs to be no more than 110 to make sense since it is 15 mins walking from nearest metro station and you would have to rely exclusively on taxis to move around.
