The Nepalese people have also gone bad. The hotel may be in a good business in Durbar Square. When I went there, I obviously had a room. I told you that there is no theory. Ctrip can book why you said no, I know that we only stayed for 1 night and hesitated. Half a day, shouting leadership, what is not too slow to ask a lot of questions, or not, tired and sleepy, I insisted on the theory, finally got a list in Ctrip, or gave the room Living on the top floor, there was no electricity in the socket at night, no hot water bathing, the monkey ran into the house at night and pulled on the luggage and so on... but the next day, the red sister forgot to forget everything.

The hotel is in the lane, not too easy to find, but very quiet. The quilt looked unwashed and was of poor quality. Tickets for this hotel are not cheap. Because we had to leave early, the front desk prepared a packed breakfast for us. Each person had two cold eggs and two slices of cold bread. Hotel WIFI is poor.
I stayed on two different occasions at this guest house, and both stays were enjoyable and stress-free. The staff are friendly and they can give great advice on where in the area to go as well as let you know more about Nepal and Kathmandu. I broke my phone while trekking and they allowed me to use their computer in order to print out my flight tickets and check my email which was much appreciated. The location is also convenient for sight-seeing and close to a good restaurants in Thamel. I will be staying here again if I go back to Kathmandu.
The hotel service is really nothing to say, it's great, check in to hand towels to bring hot drinks, bring the house introduction. This is almost the best hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal. We stayed for two days. The building itself is a boutique. Part of the building retains the ancient buildings of the 15th century. Kathmandu is full of dust, but once you enter here, it feels like an escape. There is a park next to the hotel. There are monkeys in the park who often run to the hotel. It is particularly interesting to eat corn snacks and walk to the wall of the room where I live. The hotel swimming pool and SPA are good, I suggest everyone to experience, SPA charges are much cheaper than developed countries.
There are several restaurants in the hotel. I think the habit of eating is to go to Japanese food. I tried the hotel's local-style BBQ dinner once and it was not suitable.
In short, very good hotel.
The hotel price is very cheap, clean and the hotel is very safe. The front desk staff basanta is very enthusiastic and has provided a lot of help in the local area. Stayed for 5 days~ very happy, breakfast is buffet, good location, walk to Dura Plaza, shopping around is very close ~
Hotel service is very good, user-friendly, I bought a chartered car at the hotel, the manager helped me design a travel location, go back to the hotel, go out to the hotel, the waiters are intimate greetings, the key is that the price of the travel products I ordered is appropriate, no lie Finally, the store is leaving, because the bus will not go to the bus station, the manager also arranged a special person to take us. Breakfast also allows our staff to prepare breakfast for us early because we have to leave early! All in all, this hotel is perfect!
I’m no expert in how hotels are classified, but I think of a 3* hotel as basic and nothing special. In my opinion, the Hotel Access Nepal deserves a higher rating. My wife and I stayed here our first night in Nepal after two long flights from London. Despite our late arrival, staff were uniformly welcoming and full of Nepalese hospitality. The hotel happily stored our non-trek luggage while we made an 11 day trek to the Everest Base Camp. On our return from our successful mission to trek to an altitude of 5,380m, it was a real pleasure to arrive back in Kathmandu for a few days of recovery and local sightseeing with this hotel as our base. Hotel Access Nepal was recommended by our guide, Chandra Bahadur Bhujel, who is the owner of Friendly Trekkers Adventures (who I shall be reviewing separately) so I knew it would be good! As other reviewers have noted, this hotel is located in a vehicle-free area of the Thamel district, so the beating heart of Kathmandu is literally passing by you below your window. I was very pleased with the huge expanse of windows in our room (with windows that actually opened) and I was equally pleased that the double glazing did a pretty good job of soundproofing the room for sleeping. But for me, there are two features that really make this hotel stand out: The first is the breakfast buffet - included in the room rate - that is as good as anything I have eaten in hotels around the world. Muesli, cereals, yogurt, fruits. Followed by a delicious hot option of vegetables, potatoes, grilled tomatoes, bacon and sausage. Your eggs are cooked to order (so you are not faced with the steam-table mush that masquerades as scrambled eggs!) This hotel has very recently (last 3 months) been taken over by the Nepali Syanko Group and I spoke with Peter their International Marketing Manager who detailed the improvements that they have made - such as the very pleasant covered rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. There are even more goodies on the way, such as the addition of an espresso machine (which would have allowed me to start my day with my beloved cappuccino!) The second outstanding feature was the bathroom in our room which featured the best hot shower that you could imagine! Plenty of hot water a drenching shower head and none of the sudden changes in temperature which you often find in other (more highly rated properties!) Fixtures and fittings in the rest of the bathroom could be improved- but perhaps that is on the Syanko Groups To Do list. If there was one feature that I would like to see improved, it would be the mattress which both my wife and I found very hard. Otherwise, toilet paper and mineral water were supplied on demand, the TV was linked to the Sky digital service (with at least one English language program if you went searching for it - we enjoyed watching the Tom Hanks classic Forest Gump with Japanese subtitles!) Plenty of power points for recharging your devices (again often difficult to get
The hotel facilities are good and the room is large. Clean and quiet. I stayed at Shangri-La for one night and felt dissatisfied when I moved to this hotel. Friends praised the hotel for being good, but I booked online without breakfast.
This is one of the best hotel I have stayed in my Nepal trip. The owner & the staff is extremely friendly and very helpful plus it's budget friendly as well. They helped us in all possible ways to make our stay extremely comfortable. Taking about the rooms, they are very neat, clean and tidy. We had planned to stay there for a day but looking at their service we stayed for 4 days. Thamel market is at walkable distance from the place so that's a plus point as you can go there any time. We loved the service so much that we also decided to end our 15 days trip at the same place. I would love to come back here. Justin adding a picture of the view from my room, believe me it's worth the try!!!!
The hotel is very nice and unique. Each room has a different room type, but almost every room is spacious and comfortable. I wake up every morning to take a look at the beautiful small courtyard of the hotel. The hotel service is also very good, the front desk is very fluent in English! The most important thing is that there is a place similar to Shanghai Xintiandi downstairs. There are boutiques selling cashmere scarves and sweaters, local specialty clothing, gift souvenirs, and good restaurants. In short, I like this hotel very much.
We stayed in Holy Lodge two time for a total of 8 nights. The room 112 is just purfect for a couple, the shared bathroom ans shower is just next door. Price is absolutely reasonable, including decent breakfast. This place is super well located in a vibrant part of Thamel ( some nights bars around can be loud but never enough to keep you aweke too late). But what we likes the most here is the lovely Staff, very kind, friendly and helpful. Thank you so much guys! You rock!
I checked in this morning and welcomed by Receptionist. The room is quite okay for a traveller like me. The bathroom is clean and well arranged.I've got a bottle of water and glass on the table.TV and wifi are working very well, The Room service menu is also available in the room.I've ordered some food in the room, it was quick and delicious. The best thing to stay in this hotel is its budget hotel and very close to Kathmandu Int'l Airport. What I feel bad here are The bed sheet wasn't changed upon Arrival, I could see the stan and crumbles on the bedsheets and another thing is whenever I called to the Front desk they aren't thanking to the guest for their request before Drop the call. Overall its a good budget hotel with friendly staff. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and Relatives. Namaste
this 5 star hotel in central london should have 10 stars the staff are so polite nothing is to much trouble there staff are the best there are more expensive hotels but after being in the holiday in the hilton the ritz the inn in the park the montcalm the grovenor the milestone comes out as number one they are the best the most relaxing hotel in london well done milestone you are worth 10 stars the 4 seasons should be given a 1 star and learn the way the milestone runs the hotel is opposite palace green in kensington .
A surprise found hidden in the busy dusty streets of Kathmandu. I stayed at the hotel on 3 separate stays. The hotel is new and the room is great. Hot water shower fast and strong; toilet flush works well. Breakfast selection with western and local selection - we loved the local curry choice. Friendly staff (each and every one)and greet you each time. Thanks to Ram who is very responsive to my Whatsapp messages and his quick assistance with queries that I had.
When I alway in Kathmandu I perfer this hotel...staff are so polite.Room are small but very comfortable as well as clean.Highly recomanded. Actually we were at other hotel but that hotel was really pissed up.So we changed it and contact with hotel gallery. Its a heaven for us to stay peace.Breakfast also available and its was good taste.
We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in December and had a very comfortable stay. The Location is very good because its in a more quiet place but still in Thamel. The Breakfast is also nice and freshly made. We booked a Trek with them and it was amazing. The Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Overall we had a really nice stay at the Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
Right from the moment I checked-in till I checked-out, I found warm hospitality. The staff were polite and courteous. The food was delicious. I enjoyed all my meals, especially chicken sizzler all thanks to Chef Firoz and Dev. The server Kiran was very enthusiastic and cheerful. The housekeeping staff, Bimala didi used to ask everyday if I required anything. The hotel is aesthetically decorated with beautiful paintings everywhere - inside the room, reception, restaurant and hotel lobby. They also have interesting sculptures on the ground floor, reception and the terrace. The tasteful decoration justifies the name of the hotel. The terrace of the hotel is spacious with nice trees and seating arrangement. The view from the terrace is beautiful especially during winter as it's nice to have your lunch and bask in the sun. The room and bathroom were clean with all the basic amenities. Finding a cab to go out is also very easy as the hotel reception called one for me. I found the hotel safe, comfortable and also following covid protocols. I would strongly recommend this hotel for solo women travelers like me as well as families. I loved my stay here and would love to stay here again.
Hotel location is very good, hotel cost-effective, we moved from other hotels, continued for ten days, the room is quite big, recommended to stay, there are many Chinese restaurants on the street, there is a Lanzhou noodle at the entrance, the boss is very it is good.
Hi all, we all returned from Kaza after a very tiring trip and all were so exhausted , we got up a pretty late and there as this lady Ms. Shivani who took care of us without a frown on here face unlike other hotels .she made sure everything came to our table as and when we required . Very difficult to find such people in the hospitality industry . Regards Ritane pasricha Coimbatore
I had the privilege of staying at the Potala Guest House for more than a week with a team of 10 friends including myself and 9 foreigners. Our stay there was pleasant, fulfilling and full great memories of great staff members, their humble service and availability to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Located at the heart of Thamel, yet peaceful and spacious rooms facing gardens makes this property a desirable one. Its Operation Manager, Rinjen Lama, who has the joy of serving and highly professional in his dealing, is always available for the service of the guests. He has well-managed other staff members that they are always there for you to make your stay a lovely one. It has been just 3 days my friends left, but, one of them has contacted me and asked that we should book the hotel very early lest we may not get to stay. Additionally, their restaurant attract you for desirable cuisine with quiet and comfortable place. During our stay, we enjoyed almost every meal there. In regards to the price, you won't get such property and facilities in the price they offer. Your first impression will draw you there time and again. I have brought my whole family to stay there and my family also loved it.
The hotel is very good, right in the Tamil area, not far from the restaurant is a lot of Chinese restaurants, only more than 1 km to Durbar Square, walking distance! Great hotel, with two worlds outside
I liked this a lot! We stayed in another hotel for three nights in KTM and after coming here, I hoped that I had booked this also for those nights.... Good size room for three people. The bathroom was a bit small but that didn't bother us. Clean and neat hotel. Breakfast included which was good. Helpful staff. Good location. We stayed in the room 222 which was good size.
This was our first hotel expierence in Nepal, the arrival was amazin, the room was large and clean and had a comfortable bed. the windows where open to fresh air but covered with mosquito screen. A Fan was also placed inside the room. We had our dinner there, nice cosy restaurant with very helpfull service. Also the food was nice. The breakfast was OK. Simple for a complete meal. Walkin distance from Thamel and Monkey temple.
Tamil hotels are generally hotel-standard. This one has its own yard. It is safe to park motorcycles. It feels good except for some dampness. You can arrange check-in at the store at 6 in the morning and pay 1,000 local currency when you leave Can you say 500?
The hotel door is not big, but the facilities are definitely good in the local area, which is a little better than domestic hotel chains. The location is on the most north-south road of Tamil. It is very easy to find. In fact, it is not too far to walk to the core of Tamil. The bed is very large, the air-conditioning TV safe is available, the bathroom is Mingwei with external windows, there is no fan, the shower is fixed and cannot be removed, and the feature is that there is a separate faucet for washing the toilet next to the toilet. There is a small garden on the top floor of the five-story building, and the scenery is good. There is a yoga hall next to the hotel. The hot music starts to play at six in the morning. The hotel is behind a 999 Chinese restaurant. Absolutely authentic, there is no need to worry about not getting hometown food. The waiter attitude is very good. All locals can speak Chinese to a certain extent. Most of the residents in the shop are Chinese, there are also Taiwanese, and a few Europeans. Breakfast is basically Western food, bread slices, tortillas, fried cauliflower beans, fried potato pieces, bacon, or fried corn with carrots, fried mushrooms, and boiled eggs, coffee, black tea juice. All in all a great stay in Nepal for a few days.
Very warm and characteristic boutique hotel, the bed is too comfortable, and opened a few streets in Shangri-La. The tea and cookies in the lobby bar are delicious. The tables and chairs are old tree roots, the shape is very strange, the basin bathing supplies are all copper, very characteristic, the wooden electric fan is also very practical.
