I visited on a very hot humid evening and the waitstaff had the doors open in the bar area negating much of the AC. When it was time for dinner, we moved to the dining area that was closed off and the AC was welcomed relief. The food is good but a little pricey. I tried the flatbread which was very good ($18). Add ons like prosciutto are available for an additional charge. The restaurant service seemed a bit slow with only a few people in the restaurant. Parking at the hotel is expensive.

|7.06km from city centerThis week was awful between the staff the room and all the problems. We ended up getting sick due to the room and it wasn't a pleasant week. The check in lady had a few small problems but figured it out, We then go to the room and it stinks but I was in a rush to get to work, When I get home from work I see the A/C unit is just so built up with dust and the room was hot so I turned it down to 66 and it still wasn't as cold as it should have been, The stiffness of the room made it difficult to get a good night sleep. Then Thursday after a long day we get a rude call from the front desk telling us to check out and leave, We tried to inform her we had the room unit Friday but she didn't even care to help us figure out what happened. She just said we are over booked you need to leave. When I got Home My key didn't work for the room so I went down to the desk and talked to the three ladies behind the desk and they were very unhelpfully they said the mistake was made on my end even though I Showed all of the the paper from the hotel that stated my check out date on Friday, The manager finally came out his office after I asked twice and I showed him he looked into it and then ask the lady behind the desk what happened here and she said I don't know I thought those dates changed some how so he Said okay you're here till tomorrow no apology and could have all been avoided if the lady who checked me in did her job right and put the right dates

|12.53km from city centerThe staff here was the best thing this hotel has going for it. That is really the only positive thing I have to say about my stay there.
The shuttle doesn’t start running until 10:30 am. When I arrived around 11, they didn’t have a room so I went to the pool to sit and wait. The pool area was fine, but the furniture is pretty beat up.
I went back inside after a while and heard person after person checking out complaining about dirty rooms, smells, and loud noise at night. It became clear that this is not just an airport hotel, but also a low rent living situation for a few people.
The front desk staff eventually got a room cleaned for me so I could check in early. My room was definitely not what I expected based on the photos. Paint was chipped, the shower was not clean and had mildew all around the seams. The room smelled musty. The pillows were the size of throw pillows you’d put on your sofa. Very bizarre.
I realize that it’s cheap and it’s near the airport so one can’t expect a first-class experience and I don’t go into it with those expectations. However, I wouldn’t stay there again.

We stayed here the first and last nights of our 12-night trip after flying in and getting picked up by the shuttle bus driver. The pool and hot tub were both better than some more expensive hotels we stayed at on this vacation. The place was clean, our bed good, the a/c worked were, the breakfast nothing special but the value for the money was impressive. There were some kid sport teams staying the last night which were a little noisy but no problems. We stayed at another airport hotel in the area on this trip that cost a good deal more and we decided to come back here the last night instead. There are several eating places close by, one is a sports bar right next door.

|8.15km from city centerI wanted to love this place enough to give it 5 stars, but I just can’t. If it weren’t for the staff, I would have given it 1 star. Every staff member I encountered was TOP NOTCH. Maria in the kitchen and Samuel at the front desk were OUTSTANDING. We had several issues with our reservation; enough to make us decide to never stay here again. We were given the wrong room when we checked in. When we finally got the right room, there was a lot of hair all over the floor & sink in the bathroom. The sofa bed was broken, contributing to a miserable night’s sleep (the VERY LOUD AC/heating unit didn’t help either). There were no sheets on the sofa bed and when I inquired, I was handed a bed in a bag and told to make the bed myself. I reserved a room for 3 people so there was no reason for them to not make up the bed in advance. The only trash can in the entire suite was in the bathroom, there foolishly wasn’t one in or near the kitchenette area. You have to walk across the room to turn the light on when you enter the 2nd room. This was challenging in the dark. There’s a switch when you first walk in, but there was no light connected to it. We were glad we only planned to stay 1 night. I can’t believe we had to pay for this misery. We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and had expected the same quality we’ve had at other locations. Boy were we wrong!

In general, the hotel is clean. However, I found a little hair on the toilet, I have to use a disinfection wipe to clean it by myself.
Besides that, the fitness center is big enough and the swimming pool is also nice.

|7.58km from city centerTo be fair the hotel was pretty good. The outside was not appealing to the eye but the room itself was very nice: facilities get a 5. Made reservations for one night about two weeks before my arrival. I had to push my reservation back by one day to accomodate my appointment so I canceled the reservation on expedia and made a new reservation ( 4 days before my arrival). I stayed at the hotel honoring my new reservation. I was charged for both my canceled reservation and my actual reervation. When I called they told me that they did not receive a canceled reservation from me until the day of my stay (which is false because I canceled before this date and received coonfirmation) they refused to refund me and told me to call expedia. I called expedia and they sent the refund to the hotel and the hotel refused to refund the money to me citing that they will honor their policy for same day cancellation ( which again was completed 4 days prior to my arrival) I offered to send my cancellation confirmation to them and they still refused my refund so they made double the amount of money from me (charging my card for the night I did not stay and the refund issued by expedia) very shade business between America's Best Value and Expedia.

The front desk staff were so sincerely helpful and friendly! The breakfast staff were happy and genuinely enjoyed their work. The pool area is nice with very comfortable seating options. Safe area to get in an outdoor walk. Dunkin Donuts very close by. Highly recommend!

The man working at the front desk was friendly and helpful in getting help right away when we had a clogged toilet in the room. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great. I with there was free breakfast but there's a Dunkin Donuts next door to the hotel which was convenient. The pool was freezing but that didn't deter my 8 year old!

|5.32km from city centerMy partner and I made this reservation several months before our date of arrival. A couple of weeks before our arrival, we called the property itself and requested a room on a higher floor, with a balcony, so that we could view the fireworks without leaving the comfort of our room. We were assured that our request would be honored. Upon checking in, we were assigned a first floor room with a small patio that afforded absolutely no privacy whatsoever, and not much of a river view either. Neither was the room particularly clean, carpeting in Florida is always iffy; and this carpet was so nasty that I couldn’t walk on it barefooted. In general, I found the housekeeping to be lax. The worst problem was the plumbing; the commode required at least three flushes to empty and the sink didn’t drain properly……it nearly overflowed while we brushed our teeth and while my companion shaved. The doors opened directly to the outside and not to a corridor, and the door itself had a relatively good size hole at the bottom of it. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fine, the towels were fluffy, but all in all not one of Best Western‘s better hotels. We probably would not stay again.

Unfortunately I killed 2 cockroaches crawling on my personal items.. when we first arrived our first room the toilet was broken didn’t flush the kind maintenance guy came to fix it. It worked as he fixed it then it didn’t work.. The bathroom had patch work and dirt ceilings. My bottom of my feet were black from the carpets.. have to say! Try not to judge others but clearly this hotel is used for druggies : crackhead hideouts.. there’s been sketchy people in and out. all the cars parked are runned down. the manager we had a talk with today. he’s refunding us a day or two of $ for what all had happened. He clearly just wanted to get the issue out of the way but if you’re managing it you must take care of all properties one would think! No breakfast / coffee isn’t worth it. He said we should’ve have complained sooner WE DID nobody was there well him to complain too.. Gigi was amazing! only one who helped us get to the bottom of things.. I’d spend the extra $100 on a more cleaner beautiful hotel.. also/ the first room we was in looked like it had poop stains on it- and stains on the bed… wonder where the roaches came from. No bedbugs or other bugs. AND last thing we switched rooms last Wednesday and complained this morning Monday morning …. Our room wasn’t cleaned by housekeeping we had to beg tell the manager to have our room cleaned…. 2 stars…. Pool is very clean-

|9.2km from city centerWe stay at a lot of Hilton Garden Inns and this one, by far, is one of the nicest we've encountered. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The landscaping around the property (pool area and patio area by the restaurant) is absolutely beautiful. Everything is clean and well-maintained. One of my favorite ”likes” is the shampoo, lotion, and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom versus the small tubes you usually receive. This change is definitely economical for them and easy to use for us. Their breakfast menu is varied and generous in size and the fresh fruit and freshly baked breakfast breads are incredible and abundant in choices to make breakfast a real treat. Claudia is a delightful, hard-working server who really makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. The location is a plus as well, despite some road construction going on right now....don't let it deter you though, this place is top of the line!!!!!!!

|4.97km from city centerWe stayed one night. When checking in, the front desk person could not find my rate and tried to tell me if was a higher rate. This should have been my first clue as to the type of hotel it is. Going into the room, it was medium clean, but we were only staying one night and less than 12 hours so we thought we could survive. It wasn't until the next morning that we saw there was no soap for a shower, which would have been ok as I had some with me, but the water pressure was terrible, and this was at 6 am. We passed on a shower, packed our bags and went to breakfast. I told the front desk clerk and she made a production about writing down the room number and they would check out the water pressure. I also mentioned that there was no soap. She said that we could have requested another room, but they did know there wasn't enough soap available because the order didn't come in. (hello, you're by a large city; aren't there any supercenters around?) Then we ate breakfast, not a very good one, and no juice available in the machine -- what's wrong with buying plastic containers and putting the juice in a small dispenser? When we sat down, the table next to us was laughing at what I'd said to the desk clerk. They had so little water pressure that it took 20 minutes to wash out the soap in their hair! As we talked to them, they had the same complaints we did. We finished packing the car and checked out. I asked for a receipt and we had a charge for a wall safe that we never used. I asked for it to be taken off and she did so reluctantly. I will check my credit card bill to make sure this happened. All in all, I would never stay there again. I called corporate and complained, and I just received an email (not very professionally written and full of misspellings and grammar mistakes) stating that I received a discounted rate and they were not going to discount the room any more. I think I've convinced my husband that the cheapest hotel is not necessarily the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked well - it was so hot! The shower head needs replaced. Only some of the holes sprayed - I'm assuming lime buildup but for someone with long hair it made it difficult to wash it. Good variety of channels but it was annoying that there wasn't a paper or electronic tv guide. Had to channel surf each night. I will stay here again when I return for business.

|17.87km from city centerLast weekend this Holiday Inn hosted our 2023 annual town hall meeting for our construction materials business and we had about 75 guests attend. Stefanie and her team did an excellent job communicating prior to the event and were so accommodating for some last minute changes and room booking. I definitely felt the team was doing everything they could to make our experience as nice as possible. The venue (ballroom) was great balance of professional, bright, easy-going and welcoming vibes. I didn't want this to be another stuffy corporate event and it certainly wasn't. Banquet Captain Frankie took care of us on the day of the event and we had no issues with our coffee supply or lunch buffet. Lunch was the South of the Border buffet and it seemed to be a hit with our group. The event went off without a snag! Stefanie and Frankie played a big part in making my event successful and I'll be booking them again in 2024

|12.39km from city centerVery pleased with our experience. This is not a new hotel but everything was nice. Pillows and mattresses comfy. Location was easy to get to and staff was helpful. Our high-light was Tammy who works M-W in the breakfast area. She is a GEM!!! She spoke to every single guest and you felt like she was hosting old friends in her own home. We found out that she used to sing so we talked her into gracing us with her talent! We weren't disappointed nor were those who heard her down the hall and stopped by to say how much they enjoyed hearing her! Seriously, she was such a sweetie! We asked her about local things to do and she took her break time to give us detailed information. I'd stay here again just because of her! The only negative thing was that the pool could use some chemicals. The walls were full of green algae.

From check-in with Diane, to vehicle/luggage assistance from James, James, Dave and NELSON (!), to Sam and the best filet/service ever at Courtside Restaurant and to Chris for the great poolside conversation and delicious food choices. I know I’ve left out a few but everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The resort is recovering from Ian and the staff did everything possible to provide a great stay.
