This was an interesting experience. I was not familiar with the longer-term-stay hotel format, and when I first arrived here I described the aesthetic as "simple yet stately." It was indeed a full suite, complete with dishwasher and kitchen, as well as small complimentary meals served downstairs. There was a decent workspace and nice bathroom but, typically for these times of decline, no robe. There was OK coffee in the room, but, notably, on my way out I realized that coffee could be had in the serving area downstairs. I enjoyed this coffee more than that in the room, and the disposable cup's design was striking -- I thought about it a lot as I checked out, and I also took some pictures of it (one of which I will attach here).

I thought this place was a little pricey for what it was -- i.e. standard Comfort Inn fare, lodged between two highways, etc. The pool on the main floor looked nice and above and beyond what one would expect from this kind of place, but I couldn't use it because, well, Covid. My room was also a non-smoking room, but unfortunately there was a major stoner staying somewhere around me and the smell kept wafting into my room, including in the middle of the night. No robe either, but, come to think of it, the TV was really nice. Often when I arrive at temporary lodgings or else am transitioning into the evening part of the day, I enjoy watching a little CNN. My viewing experience this time around was excellent -- easy-to-use remote control, Chris Cuomo's head was very detailed and lifelike, etc. All around a mixed bag, just like life.

I had to stay here so that I could do a Zoom presentation and interview in the middle of the night. The internet worked well enough for me to do this, although the free wifi connection would likely have been less than optimal had I done so during waking hours. Other than that, things were very nice here and the location, near Hess Village, was a lot of fun. They also have a small but efficient print station, and I was able to print out a variety of other documents I needed for work.

I lived in a larger number of days and changed the room once in the middle, which is more pertinent. First of all, in response to the previous comments, the decoration and equipment are not new, but personally feel that there is absolutely no need to pursue new decoration too much. Western countries pay attention to environmental protection and will not be refurbished like domestic, so they do not provide slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower cap, comb. There is no plastic bag in the trash can. One of the rooms has a small window to open. In fact, most hotels have sealed the windows for safety reasons. There is a vent in the bathroom, not sure if it is useful, but it will dry soon after showering. The bed is high, the soft mattress is soft. This is the standard of foreign hotels and the reasons for different living habits. The room has free WIFI. There is a large supermarket behind the lobby of the hotel. There is a large supermarket, and there are all kinds of food for the Chinese. There are also various fast foods that can be paid by Alipay. The order was a bit problematic at check-in, thanks to Ctrip's timely follow-up and active communication to solve the problem. In the process of communication, you can use the translation software of the mobile phone. The computer at the front desk of the hotel also has translation software. Just tell them that you are speaking Chinese. Although the staff at the front desk were serious, the whole face was cold and indifferent, especially women. It was too bad for this kind of chain hotel in the world. Generally do not write a comment, but I hope to give a little help to the Chinese people outside the door.

Breakfast is completely in accordance with the Western lifestyle. There are ice milk, coffee, juice, tea bags, and snacks are bread crumbs. It is relatively simple and does not consider the Chinese stomach. The parking lot is amazing! The windows of the hotel are closed and the bed is a bit soft, but this varies from person to person and stays for a week. The overall feeling is the standard of a hotel. No slippers or toothbrushes. The surrounding traffic and environment are generally OK!

My university travel agent selected this hotel for me and it was a great choice. Fantastic value for money. I have been staying here for 2 weeks whilst I study at the local university and it has been a great place to stay. Nice and clean, fantastic and friendly staff who are there 24hrs a day at the front desk. Continental breakfast served from 6:30am-10am. Short walk to the city centre and the local bus/train station. The hotel also has very fast free wifi and a regular turn down service for your room. If you are prepared to take a bit of a longer walk I would suggest visiting the area of Westdale, near to McMaster university, there are great restaurants and a 1920's style cinema. Would highly recommend this hotel for both long and short stays, I will certainly return here in the future.

I'm at my hotel in Hamilton, Courtyard Hamilton 1224 Upper James Street, I have to say without a doubt, this is on of my favourite Marriott properties to frequent, the staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. But the purpose of this post is this is THE best hotel shower designs, only thing I would change for my shower is glass doors and this shower heaf system. (I have to get me that bench for when I build my condo.)

Just by pulling up the driveway,I knew this hotel really cares about the property....then we walked into the lobby! Very modern, very clean, and greeted with a smiling front desk clerk. Checking in was a breeze. They allowed us to park our motorcycles under the carport because of the rain that was coming, that right there was a big bonus for us. Our room was so inviting and it smelled as clean as it was...SPOTLESS!! Chrome shined, bed was crisp and clean, all the amenities were in working order,tv channels were crystal clear, bed was a little firm, which is perfect for us,pillow...the pillows I wanted to steal, they were big and squishy and perfect!I can go on and on about how amazing the room was but I haven't even got to the restaurant yet,Baci a nice modern Italian restaurant located off of the lobby, they didnt have a spot for us(we had no reservations) so they offered a a glass of wine while we waited...and literally 3 minutes later we were seated. Incredible service, the food was so delicious and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall our stay was a 10/10,and highly recommended anyone staying in the Hamilton area to stay at this Best Western Priemere which is just a short jaunt to the limeridge mall. Thank you BW C by Carmen's for the amazing stay and the incredible hospitality. 😁 Crystal&Tom

From the day I made the reservation to the day we checked out, our experience with Homestead House could not have been better. Even before I completed my reservation process, Bernie answered my questions almost immediately via e-mail. (We wanted a place to store our bicycles and he said "No problem!") Verena met us at the door when we arrived and welcomed us to our home for three days. We stayed in the Red Room, which has a comfortable queen-size bed, a chair with ottoman, two bedside tables, and a dresser. The lighting in the room is adequate for anything from watching TV to reading. The bathroom appears to be a converted closet. It's not large, but certainly adequate. And the curved glass block wall enclosing the shower is unique and attractive. The B&B is a few hundred metres from Upper James Street, which can take you through areas of retail, restaurants, open fields, and who knows what else. But you're not out in the middle of nowhere. In fact, you are no more than 20 minutes from the centre of Hamilton. Although we drove, we were amazed at the B&B's proximity to the Hamilton airport. It is, quite literally, just down the street. (Although we couldn't hear any airplanes from inside our room, so I wouldn't worry about noise being a problem.) As noted by others, the breakfasts were wonderful. Yes, the food was good, but the company of other guests and Verena and Bernie made all the difference. Sharing good conversation, interesting experiences, and good coffee make for a great start to the day. Finally, I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Verena and Bernie. From recommendations for our biking excursion, to advice on parking in Hamilton, to accommodating guests' requests, they could not have been nicer. (Bernie even drove one guest to the airport, in lieu of calling a taxi, to pick up his rental car. Something like that is not required, but certainly appreciated.) If you are looking for a home away from home in Hamilton, you would do well to visit Homestead House.
