Ctrip's first review of this hotel, the owner of the Chinese, the motel, can not be too much luxury, driving is very convenient, the price is not expensive, free parking, less than 3 kilometers from the most prosperous area of Wellington, the price is still quite high

The city of Wellington is not prosperous, and there are some old ones. This hotel is not a city center, so walking around Wellington is a bit of a hassle; driving around, downtown parking is expensive. The hotel facilities are also relatively old, all on the first floor, broken, so that I have a little worried about the health. In short, the hotel is generally, the price is not very high.

My daughter said that the hotel we booked this time is the favorite, the surrounding environment is beautiful, quiet, very close to the city and tourist attractions. Go to the museum, the Capitol is more than 20 minutes walk. Mount Victoria is just behind the hotel and it is 1200 meters walk. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Wellington and the scenery is beautiful. Going to Cuba Street, convenience stores, and supermarkets are very convenient. Because we don't have a car and don't want to take the bus, it is very convenient to choose here. I can walk to any attraction. The boss is very warm and kind. He said, "He and the Chinese have worked together for ten years, just like a family." What moved the words, he is very kind and friendly to the Chinese, and he gives it daily. We have prepared a free breakfast, we have to stay here for ten days, my daughter likes it very much, safe and hygienic. The kitchen in the restaurant can also be used free of charge. You can buy food and cook for yourself. It is a good place to take your children to travel. When I first came to check in, we took out the documents and showed them to the boss. He said cheerfully, "No need to look, I know who you are,". I think he may be a Chinese character with the Chinese for a long time. You don't need to go through any formalities to stay here, it's as simple as going home. We also choose here for the next vacation.

Situated just round the corner from Cuba St which is great for bars and cafés. Off street parking which for those with a car is crucial. We were walking or using public transport and found the place easily. Friendly and helpful welcoming owner. Excellent instructions for after hours access as we arrived into Welly at midnight. Nice quiet area which made for a peaceful night's sleep. Room slightly dated but this did not detract from the fact that the standard of cleanliness, kitchen & bathroom facilities, etc were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Easy to walk up to Mt Vic for some exercise. We'd definitely stay there again

We stopped over in Wellington and stayed in this cottage for a night on 2nd March. This cottage comes fully equipped with amenities and there’s nothing more we could asked for. Most important to us was the cleanliness, and this cottage ranks very high up in our score. Being next to Cuba Street - the major food street in Wellington - adds up to our good impression of the cottage’s location. Despite only staying for a night, we left the place greatly impressed. For those who are considering this place, you have my feedback it’s a quiet and good place to stay. We will not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in Wellington city.

Breakfast is ok, bread, croissant, scrambled eggs, soy beans, mushrooms, grilled bacon, sausage, apple juice, orange juice, or something The accommodation is okay. The big bed room where my friend and I slept is completely ok. There are half-length mirrors and full-length mirrors in it, but the layout restrictions are on the implantation bed (we slept very well anyway) It seems that hotels here don’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so please remember to bring them. I remember that China Southern Airlines will send a set of portable toiletry bags. If you don’t bring toothbrushes and toothpaste, you must keep this. 10-20 minutes walk near the hotel, urban buildings, photo spots, Cuba Street, and you can basically reach it (if you can, it’s more convenient to plan in advance) Is there a parking lot, because I remember that there was a sign on the front desk to write about 20 dollars a night parking fee, right? We stayed 2 nights in Nov. Although a hostel, they do have 1 private room ensuite, which we booked. Room #18 also had a private entrance and was on the 2nd floor (no elevators to that room). They had a really nice shared kitchen space and a small rooftop patio. Bed was comfortable, decent room/bathroom. Pretty windows, although they did nothing to block the noise/partying from the street. Other than the noise, we really enjoyed the place. We weren’t able to check out the other floors (key only worked for our room and the common areas – which is good), but good impression of all the spaces we could see. Everyone else (staff & guests) seemed pretty young, but friendly. Location was really good as it was a very short walk to Cuba St and not far to the waterfront, either.

This hotel was central to everything Wellington has to offer including bars, restruants, waterfront and shopping. The fully equiped kitchen was a nice touch if you were staying longer period of time. I think this is the only pet friendly hotel in Wellington so was the reason for our choice, they even gave us a bed and dog bowl. Checking in after hours was no issues. Clean and tidy. Parking options available for a fee. Highly recommend.

The one in the evaluation of 52905 is definitely not checking out according to New Zealand's check-out time. Is there any problem calling you to knock on the door? Doesn't the hotel care about money as a charity? If you don't want to be disturbed, go ahead and renew your fee. Although you are a guest, can't you do whatever you want? It’s great that you’re still trying to get rid of yourself. I can’t stand a guest. The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to go out for dinner, the facilities are very new but the hygiene needs to be strengthened. There is a hair on the hair dryer that was left by the previous guests.

In the capital of Wellington, the location, price, and comfort are very satisfactory. First of all, it is located in the CBD area, separated by a road from the sea, and surrounded by high-end shopping streets and restaurants. Secondly, it belongs to the decoration style of domestic business hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Next time I will live in IBS.

Oh dear, won't be staying here again, and cannot recommend this B&B in Seatoun. We booked on the basis of it's description and location, should have looked more closely at the reviews. But yerno, I was in a hurry, and accommodation was filling up fast on a busy weekend in Welly which was hosting some big national events. Unfortunately, our experience appears to have been the same as other recent reviewers. My first impression on arrival, having climbed the steps through the narrow gate to the porch was that it was a little unkempt, with household odds and sods kind of caste aside on the porch. Inside was the same, bit of a cluttered mess, stuffy smell... Ah well, it's somebody's busy home... It was not a particularly welcome greeting when we arrived, we seemed to be just another "booking", and we carried our luggage up the very narrow stairs to the upper level. We were looking forward to the advertised views of the beach and harbour but unfortunately there was a big tree and power pole bang smack in the view instead. No matter... hopefully other aspects would make up for that. As other reviewers have mentioned, we were also looking for some area to use as a lounge/sitting/relaxing area, as the room is quite compact. None was offered, and to be honest, I didn't feel comfortable asking, after having to ask where breakfast was to be served (in the family kitchen). When we went to check this out we unfortunately met the 'waspy' wife - as aptly described by another reviewer. No greeting, didn't even look at us, said something in unfriendly tone with her back turned to us, that I couldn't make out. So, we high-tailed it into the city to experience Welly's wonderful hospitality for the rest of the day. On returning to our accommodation about 10pm there was a strong smell of frying onions in our room which seemed to waft up from the kitchen directly below our room. We shut the toilet window (toilet door could not be shut properly) thinking that was how it was getting in, but the smell persisted through the night and was still strong in the morning. This was MOST unpleasant! But here's the good - breakfast was plenty and pleasant, cooked by Craig the husband. In conversation with him it becomes apparent that he is the one who wants to do B&B and the wife DOES NOT. So, she is successfully sabotaging it because we will not return and nor can we recommend. Suggest Craig looks for another business partner...

It is some time since we have stayed at Newlands Court so we were not sure what to expect. Since the major refurbishment, this place is amazing. Our studio unit had a big bed, full kitchen, luxury bathroom, dining table, TV etc. Heaps of room, amazingly quiet. Lovely welcome. Heaps of parking, Pet friendly and dog walking area. Children's playground. And a cafe! We were seriously impressed, especially given that the prices are very reasonable. If the other refurbished rooms are up to this standard, then wow, seriously WOW. We will be back on our next trip to Wellington.

We were transferred to West Plaza because our original hotel is now a quarantine hotel, & I couldn't be more pleased. We didn't have much time in Wellington so with West Plaza being so central, it was great. We could easily walk around one corner to Courtenay Place, and in the other direction walk easily to Lambton Quay. Our room on the top (5th) floor was plenty big enough, comfortable bed & pillows, well equipped bathroom. The heat pump location isn't ideal, as most of the heat disappears up into the curtains, which just finish above it but we hitched the curtains up. Overall, a great stay & would definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed for just one night at Pacific View and wished we had been able to stay longer. Janice and Brent were so very warm and welcoming upon our arrival, and we so appreciated Brent taking the time to drive us to the Local and to the airport the next morning. Those were such kind acts of assistance that made our lives so much more relaxed as we prepared to leave beautiful New Zealand. Their dinner recommendation was fabulous and we so enjoyed our last night of sleep in their beautiful and comfortable room. Janice and Brent have thought of every need of travelers, and the room is welcome and beautiful (also spotlessly clean). We fell in love with New Zealand and count you and Brent among many warm and wonderful Kiwis who made our trip absolutely magical. We hope to stay with you again on our next trip, and we will stay more than one night to ensure we have the chance to explore Wellington and walk to the beach.

The hotel is located in the city center. From the elevator behind the hotel, there are sushi restaurants and Chinese restaurants. Coming out is the commercial street. There is a supermarket less than 20 meters to the left, and next to the supermarket is the famous Wellington Red Cable Car. One way ticket is NZ $ 5 / person. There is a planetarium on the top of the cable car. At night, you can go to the Victoria University Library to see the city night view. Walk along the ground to reach the Botanical Garden, and finally cross the pedestrian bridge to the Parliament Building. Go straight across a few streets in less than 5 minutes to the beach of Dongfang Bay. Looking to the right at the Tipapa Museum is not far. You can walk along the shore of Orient Bay. From the museum, Cuba Street is not too far in front of the museum. Overall, this is a good hotel, with spacious rooms, good hygiene and good service attitude. The hotel does not prepare slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes. There is no Chinese service, which is not convenient for those who cannot speak English.

Professional standard five-star hotel service, the restaurant is also quite amazing, especially the characteristic pork belly and steak, the appetizers are also very delicious. The self-service breakfast the next morning did not catch up because of the error message given by the waiter. The waiter immediately took a large plate of desserts and fruits, as well as juice and tea for us to enjoy for free. The point is that the dim sum is delicious. Ordered this month’s special burgers and fish and chips at noon, and the waiter kindly gave the spicy sauce (I don’t know how to tell I like spicy). The experience is very good. I don't know why everyone has such a low evaluation of this hotel. I stayed for two nights and personally felt that it was cheap. It’s very close to St. Paul’s Church and Beehive. On Saturday, I just caught up with the farmer market behind the church and bought two boxes of Strawberry Juice. It's also convenient to take the intercity bus. It takes only ten minutes to walk towards the city center. It’s a bit more complicated if you take a cruise, but it’s not difficult. Take the free shuttle to the train station after the cruise ship, and then just walk over. The train station to the hotel is uphill. If you have too much luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi, which costs about $10. The hotel is very clean. I am now accustomed to using disinfectant wipes to wipe the table, door handles, switches, etc. every time I arrive at an accommodation, no dust is found. The hotel's own restaurant is not expensive, ordering a pork chop plus 🥤 is only $30, which is about the same price as outside restaurants.
