1.81km from KFCFor a well known luxury hotel brand, I never expected so many hiccups can happens during my short stay here.
I tried to check in at 230pm but was told by the hotel staff that my room was not yet ready and he will call me when it is ready I waited for the call that never came and only managed to check in my room an hour later ( after I enquire with him again @ the check in counter).
Also the experience of having to walk across the lobby from the lounge to curate to take my food during the breakfast buffet is not what I have in mind when staying in a 5 star hotel! The situation could have been better managed and the morning crowd anticipated with more tables set for the hotel guest.
Overall a very disappointed stay.
1.59km from KFCThe hotel is located in a quiet downtown area, a 50-minute drive from the airport. The location is very good. The twin towers and the shopping mall KCLL are very good for shopping people, and the twin towers can be seen in the room. The uploaded pictures are taken in the room.
Breakfast is very rich, the time is from 6:30 to 9:30, but we get up late, their breakfast usually ends at 9 o'clock, and then after 9 o'clock, they will be arranged to eat a breakfast in a conference room next to it, the variety Not so rich, so it will be a bit regrettable for those who love to sleep.
The other facilities are relatively comprehensive. It should be the sixth floor. Sorry, I ’ve written this paragraph for two months. It ’s a bit fuzzy. Anyway, there is a sports floor, an outdoor swimming pool, and it ’s only open-air. However, the rain in Malaysia will not last long. There is a bar next to the pool. You can order food and drink, and you can also play table tennis, table tennis and golf for a whole day. Especially suitable for playing with older children.
1.39km from KFCThe room was smaller than I expected, but quite lovely. Loved the bathtub, shower and bed. The staff were exceptionally wonderful, from reception to the chefs who served us at the breakfast buffet. The food was especially scrumptious and I would come just to have that again. Great service and beautiful decor.
1.36km from KFCThe agent is late to response, so I ask the lobby attendant she said I should call the agent cos it booking by Trip.com only residence they entertained so in short i call the agent for some minutes before she response and send 1 guy to give me the key.. And the room is not facing the Kl Tower so I ask favor that if she can choose a room whereby I can see the tower and she comply that’s the consolation I got and the agent thing I just forget … So if you like to see the
view of all better tell the agent earlier so that she can arrange for you
.. Overall it’s fine amenities is okay room are clean overall it’s manageable

Hotels Near Eight Ounce Coffee In Kuala Lumpur Review
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
Had a staycation at the Oakwood Hotel and Residence last weekend and enjoyed it throughly. Got a one bedroom suite, good size, spacious living space with a sofa set and a large LED TV, a small kitchenette (would been a 5☆ if they had stovetop) with filtered water for the environment and a small dining table for 2. The bedroom also has a large LED TV with ample channels, large comfortable bed, a work desk and a good size bathroom with tub.
Nice suite in a good location. Booked the room for two nights. After checking in at 6 AM I had to change rooms at noon. That was a little bit inconvenient. This hotel doesn't have a front desk. For checking in and checking out you have to call a number and someone is coming 10 to 15 minutes later. When leaving, I was checking out at 5 AM to catch an early flight. I called and waited 20 minutes but nobody came. When I called the number again, the same person, sounding very sleepy answered. He probably fell asleep again after the first call. Finally 15 minutes later somebody came to check me out and return the security deposit.

The room is good, the only problem is that the hotel customer service is too slow. During the check-in period, we have to wait 10 minutes for someone to come down to receive. We forgot to pick up the things. We have to wait 10 minutes for the staff to go downstairs and take us up, but we took the room card, everything It’s a lot more convenient, the infinite pool’s drawback is that the newly built building in front destroys the beautiful scenery
I really love this hotel to the max! Its like i pay for hundreds bucks to get a hotel room like this. I love how clean & neat the room was. The modern interior inside the room and at the lobby area. Not to forget, the hospitality by the receptionist. Perfect! definitely will come back here💛
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
This hotel is very new and located near city centre, I love this hotel because it has so many facilities, the amenities provided in the rooms are completed. The rooms are very spacious I think can accomodate up to 4 people on their 1+1 room. The tv, kitchen and everthing are working well. Reception are very kind, he give us late check out. I would recommend this hotel.. It is 5 stars on everything..
the location at the city center point to every access and also have a lot of restaurant and also fast food restaurant. it make us easier to travel also since the hotel also near the bus stop.
Wonderful oh wonderful! Prayer mat is provided in hotel room, no need to request. Very good! And there’s signage of no alcohol, no drugs, and no smoking is allowed in the room. Very good!
satisfied. it is still okay. acceptable for its price.
As soon as you enter the lobby, it feels like at least a five-star hotel. The security and staff at the lobby are very enthusiastic. They drive to the door and say hello to you. Although there is no Chinese, they can understand English, and room facilities Very new, well-equipped, large bathroom, landscaped pool, bath towels provided, waiter attitude is very good and polite, restaurant next to the pool, the price is reasonable. The overall is very good, compared to the hotel near Kuala Lumpur Station, here is quieter, go grab a grab is also very convenient, go out at night and turn left and walk 200 meters there is a bar, the environment is good, walk about 300 meters forward Arrow Street. It's worth living in Kuala Lumpur next time.
It's a new hotel, so it's very comfortable to live in, and the bathroom is also pretty. There are many restaurants nearby, in the Golden Triangle, but there is no parking space at his house, there is a private parking lot next to it, 5 MYR, which is pretty good!
We had a lovely stay at Opus! The staff was amazing and really friendly. Location is wonderful and the view is one of the best you can get in KL. From the rooftop you can see the hustle and bustle of the city centre in the front and the quietness of the nature in the back. It's a short walk (2-3 min) to the metro station and about a 15-20 min walk to Bukit Bintang (3-5 by metro). In about 5 min you can walk to Petaling Street, with a lot of nice restaurants on the way there (we recommend exploring the streets as there are many hidden gems around Petaling Street). The apartment was clean, spacious and very modern. Bathrooms are very spacious as well with a big shower head at a good height (a problem we encountered many times during our travels). We stayed for 3 months and had the best time here. We are definitely staying at Opus again the next time we are visiting KL!
Location = 9/10
Best location to stay and very safe, there is an escalator bridge just in front of the hotel, just opposite the hotel there is NU Sentral Mall you jist need actoss , 5 minutes walk to MRT station and surrounded with convenient shops and food.
Service = 9/10
All staff very friendly and good customer service, front office always give me early check in wherever there is room available without making me wait.
Cleanest = Small Hotel but very neat and clean this is the 6th time I stay at this hotel wherever my husband is on a business trip to Kuala Lumpur I always ask him to book a room at this hotel, even the room is a bit small but the facilities are impressive there is a small refrigerator in the room and the room smelled really good.
Facilities: I paid less than RM 60.00 but I got all the Facilities I need (very complete), there is a gym on the highest floor and a small garden on the roof that you can access, they provide mineral water in the room but you can walk outside room for refills from the same floor, when hungry don't worry right behind the hotel there is a restaurant that sells delicious Nasi kandar and in the evening you can hang out while enjoying snacks and coffee at ABC Bistro located juat next to the nasi kandar shop .
The only thing is parking access is a bit difficult but if you are patient you will always have one
I have many issues with this hotel. Firstly, the manager came to knocking at our door, with no real reason to do so- she asked our room had been cleaned when the cleaner had just come a few minutes before? Another time, a member of staff came knocking saying only ‘room service’, which I’m not even sure the hotel do, and he had nothing in his hand. Both of them had a key card for the room. I have read on other reviews that the staff let themselves into your room without asking, I am sure they would’ve done that had we not been there or answered the door. We then heard the bleeps of other doors opening. This left us feeling uneasy as there are no safes in the room. There were lots of bugs in the room every time we came in and a bug squished into the wall. The mattress was dirty - when sheet came away, the mattress was covered in hairs and stains. Our biggest issue was with the falsely advertised breakfast. We pre paid for the buffet breakfast. When we got there the staff acted weirdly and they all walked away with no explanation. The manager watched us go over to the buffet to find there was nothing in it. No one said anything to us, we were left wondering what was going on. They gave us tea, no choice of tea or coffee. Then 10 minutes later came over with rice and an omelette- again no choice as to whether we liked or could eat this (could be allergic or vegan, as my boyfriend is) and certainly not the buffet we paid for. When we complained the staff didn’t do much, just shrugged and said the chief isn’t here today. They offered no real explanation or anything to make up for the fact we had to pay for breakfast elsewhere. The next morning we came down for breakfast, hoping it would be a different story. Again, the same situation. No buffet or no ‘à la carte’ menu choice, as they advertised on ‘booking.com’, and we paid for !!!! Really poor customer service. They do not care about their customers whatsoever. Oh and the sugar had ants crawling in it! Nice. As well as this, there are lots of taxes put on the bill, and unexpected costs added on at the hotel, not so budget after all. Avoid at all costs! Rude and unhelpful staff.
This hotel was a relatively new look at the time. It was chosen from Chinatown. After I went there, I found that it was just next door to Chinatown. I walked 100 meters. I had a lot of food and drink, and the hotel environment was relatively new, but the room was luxurious. Very ordinary, mainly because of the serious lack of tables and chairs, there is no place to put the backpack, the trash can is a small donkey, can not throw much things, the wardrobe of the bed is actually a little redundant, there are mirrors on the bed, wash basin plug The lid of the water is not tight, I want to wash the clothes. The water will flow out in 2 minutes. If there is a small menu for breakfast, there is no Chinese. There is a Chinese rice dumpling and steamed with scrambled eggs. Although not much, I am full, and there are quite a lot of Europeans and Japanese living in Japan. There are 2 free cups of coffee every day. The girls who make coffee are very cute. They can also communicate in Chinese.
The service staff are very good and efficient. They said that they had to change rooms and deal with it immediately. There was no delay, but the only downside is that the air-conditioning in the hotel is very hot. People who are afraid of heat are not suitable for living.
Hotel location is good, there is a light rail station nearby, downstairs and breakfast, it is very convenient. The hotel room is small, but it is clean and tidy. In Kuala Lumpur, the price is very high!
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
The location of this hotel is very good and very safe. The elevator swipes the card directly to my own floor. I lived on the 46th floor. From the room, I can see the Kuala Lumpur TV Tower. Before checking in, contact the hotel via WeChat, pay the MYR 300 deposit, and send you the room password, mailbox password, and get the room card to go upstairs. No front desk provided. The hotel customer service speaks Chinese. Microwaves are provided in the room, as well as induction cookers for cooking, as well as washing machines and refrigerators. The washing machines are fully automatic. The shower is very comfortable and the water flow is great. It is not necessary to carry a conversion plug, which is provided in the room. The room is two bedrooms and one living room, with two one-meter beds, and the mattress is very comfortable. Suitable for parent-child travel.
Stay here for stay cation with friends as we cannot rentas negeri. I'm really satisfied with services offered. The rooms are clean, comfy bed, the ambience was nice, the bathroom are clean. They have coffee machine that you can get your coffee dosage 24 hours. The staff are friendly. The hotel also so easy to access and easy parking. Parking rate is RM5 per entry. Can validate the parking ticket at the hotel lobby to get the flat rate. All in all, I am really happy and satisfied with my stay here. Will book later once the pandemic gone., so that I can enjoy their other facilities.
Ok there are 2 D'OR Hotels and situated just a walking distance to each other. I stayed in D'OR HOTEL BUKIT BINTANG in 16 Jalan Bukit Bintang. And i would say its super clean, bedsheets and towels are super white no stains and the rooms are always cleaned up and tissues and mineral water given everyday. The airconditioning is super cold. The hotel personnels are very helpful. I experienced accidentally leaving my bag with laptops in my grab car and it is the hotel personnel who helped me all the way until i recover it. The hotel location is so good for those who like to go around at night. Its situated just walking distance to all street foods and night life. The downside part of this hotel is that there is no window. There is no hotel food. They do offer free hot and cold water near the info counter. Its very easy to locate its just infront of Federal Hotel.
It is the best hotel in the nearby area, the price is reasonable and breakfast can be included, the room is large and comfortable, the sanitary conditions are particularly good, and most importantly it is safe and worth staying
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
The room was smaller than I expected, but quite lovely. Loved the bathtub, shower and bed. The staff were exceptionally wonderful, from reception to the chefs who served us at the breakfast buffet. The food was especially scrumptious and I would come just to have that again. Great service and beautiful decor.
Convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants and more in the hotel ⋯
The room is very large, but it smells up. It is better to blow on the terrace.
Overall good ~
This hotel charged extra MYR 20/- from me even after paying full amount at Make My Trip website and it was clearly mentioned on my invoice Pay at Hotel= 0 But Hotel charged me extra MYR 20. When i refused to pay extra as in my booking voucher and invoice there was no charges mentioned then the receptionist told me that you can talk with your agent or you have to pay. I can't talk with MMT in foreign country as I did not have SIM card of Malaysia. The room of hotel is very small. You have only 2x6 feet space after the bed. The hotel does not provide fresh water in room you have to go into lobby and get it from water dispenser. The room amenities were not according displayed on the website. The bathroom size is very small. It was 2x5 feet only. The shower water was coming out in the room. The lift sensor are not working correctly; I got hurt 2 times by lift doors. The 3 seat room is also very small in size.
Convenient location in the central area, next door is the hotel, money exchange, there are many delicious food around the supermarket, the room is a bit small, but the facilities are complete, the front desk service is warm, the Chinese speak Chinese, in general, affordable, once Good experience, recommended
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
I lived in front for 5 days. After I went back to Penang, I stayed for another 4 days. I booked a suite, which is equivalent to two bedrooms and two halls. The kitchen and kitchen are complete. It is close to the Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur Tower. It takes 5 minutes to walk. Arrived, there is a little brother who can speak Chinese at the front desk. The service attitude is very good, give him a compliment! The upstairs scenery is infinitely good and the accommodation is very comfortable.
I will never come back to Dorsett.
1. No parking space, we are advised by the hotel to park at an open space nearby with rm10 per entry. No complimentary from hotel.
2. No door mat were given. Risk of slippery & cause wet (stagnant water) at the area in front of the bathroom.
3. Worse, shower foam container was empty, not refill.. lousy.
4. Only 45 minutes were allowed in the swimming pool. Kids were frustrated. Remember to book 1st. No booking, no chance to enter.
5. A long queue in the morning to enter the breakfast place. Must hv same patient ok..
6. The heater holder was broken / loosen. Couldn’t hold the handle…
7. No view! Frustrated too.. can only see the next building’s wall only.
I think my almost rm300 not really worth here. I wont come
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
the hotel is within close proximity with Pavilion KL. Really good for location and the room was clean and spacious
Staff at the lobby and housekeeping were courtesy, friendly and welcoming.
The facilities like gym and pool were in good maintenance
I will definitely stay here again
the only cons is parking need to pay RM5/day and the parking lots were quite small
If you need a silent area this its suitable for the room even have a window. The room is big in accordance with the price. No have breakfast but you can easily reach the food at any stall or restaurant nearly by. Just go walk around to feel it.
Sure one gets what one pays for. The staff were very friendly and assistive in every way, lady owner is fantastic. The location is great, just around the corner from the chaos shopping alleys. Rooms are clean, comfortable and no bugs etc encountered. Also a great laundry service and a great place to stay a few nights. Restaurant downstairs (Oldies) is a separate business, but has great Western and Asian food, plus Ice Cold Beers etc. Another great place nearby is Regea Bar. Please don't expect 5 star, as it is what it is. I'd certainly stay there again, and I live in SE Asia 10 years. I recommend for a short stay. Cheers
Kuala Lumpur City Centre
The biggest advantage of the hotel is that the location is very convenient and convenient. There are two supermarkets downstairs. You can find everything in 15 minutes to go to the Twin Towers for shopping and eating. You can see that Chinese feels the same as China. The hotel room is average, and there is nothing special to say.
