Hotels Near El Bulin Del Pibe In Barcelona
0.24km from downtownMy best friend & I met up in Barcelona this past weekend since neither of us have traveled since COVID-19. I knew we were going to arrive before the normal 2:00pm check in, so I spoke to the front desk & was advised that if our room was ready when we arrived, it wouldn’t be a problem checking in early and for only 10 EUR. Well, we arrived around 10:45-11:00am & to our surprise, the room was ready. Check in was a breeze, super quick, super friendly. Everyone was extremely safe without being weird. Our room was VERY clean with enough towels. We were beyond thrilled that the hotel was pet friendly and the fur babies literally made our stay that much enjoyable. The added bonus was the rooftop bar - great buzz on a Friday (and Saturday) night. Warmly recommended. I will definitely return next time I am in town.

0.28km from downtownt's a good hotel located in an agreeable district in Barcelona near Hospital Clinic. Albeit it's not too close to the center – about twenty minutes walk -, it's very well connected. The building is rather solid and elegant both outside and inside, though it's not apparently soundproof. The room I was allocated is rather small but comfortable anyway, especially the bed whose mattress has the adequate toughness to assure a good sleep mainly for people having some sort of backache. The desk is also suitable for working comfortably. They made a table lamp available to me so that I could read and write with no problem whatsoever. Since, as stated above, the building isn't apparently soundproof I sometimes heard the voices of the next door neighbours contingent upon the kind of people concerned. That was a bit annoying and made me once even knock on the wall in order to try to have the necessary calm for sleeping. The partition wall betwixt my room and that on the left as one comes into either sometimes got warped when pushed against from the other side. The staff is rather kind and helpful both the people working at the front desk and at the restaurant as well as the room maids who certainly do an excellent job. The breakfast is good and abundant, particularly the sweet fruits and the cheese of diverse types and also the croissants and other pastry. Some days there is Spanish omelette, which is usually very well cooked and tasty. That breakfast is therefore enough for one to keep on for several hours without feeling hungry again. At the same restaurant, to wit Restaurant Mares, one can have the other two day meals. I sometimes had lunch there. There is a set menu for those meals. Among the dishes included in it there is a sirloin steak, the ordering of which entails the payment of a moderate supplement, what is worthwhile taking the good quality of the meat into consideration. The only flaw in that restaurant is that sometimes the TV set is on at the same time as music, which doesn't make much sense actually. Whenever I asked them to stop the music however my entreaty was kindly acceded and implemented. By and large therefore, it's a recommendable place to stay while in Barcelona and, by the way, not expensive.

0.38km from downtownThe place is nice and quiet, with a location near Barcelona Sant train station and a walking distance to Placa de Espanya. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is good! Unfortunately, I've stayed at E level room which doesn't have a window with view, the room is a bit too hot as well. However, this is my first time in Barcelona and the location is not near the main attraction and the beach and need to learn about the public transportation lines which can be tricky for first time visitor, so location-wise may not be ideal for first time visitor. But the hotel is good for revisitors!
0.42km from downtownStayed here for 3 nights in Oct. 2019. Very roomy apartment and very well equipped, except you will have to ask at reception for a lot of things like a kettle, washing up stuff, toaster. Having said that when we asked for an item it was immediately delivered to the room; I just don't get why it isn't automatically in the room since they put a hair dryer in there and all cutlery & crockery. Room has an electric hob, fridge and microwave oven. Rooms were very clean and cleaned every day. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Air con was very efficient. The hotel is in a very good location - surrounded with cafes, restaurants and mini-markets. A Metro station is 30 metres away. We used the City Tour Bus for a day cost 29 euros and the stop was about 100 metres away. In the hotel the reception staff were kind, considerate and very helpful (even offering to lend us an umbrella when it was raining. Highly recommended.
0.46km from downtownStayed at the Abbot Hotel for 11 days chosen because of its 4 star rating. The hotel is very centrally located for public transport and only a 6 minute walk from the train station that serves the airport. The room was spacious and clean although the air conditioning was not fantastic. The rooms were also cleaned every day. However, the hotel lacked facilities such as somewhere to sit outside. The breakfast was ok but lacked choice and it was the same every day. There was one small area to meet with friends in the hotel for a chat and when we did, we were informed by the reception desk that we were making too much noise. It was well before 10pm and the lounge area was well away from the bedrooms, though near to the reception desk. The hotel does not have a bar or offers tea/coffee. Given the lack of facilities I do not think that the hotel merits 4 stars. But that said, if you are looking for a centrally located hotel, it would make a good choice so long as you are not expecting to lounge in the sun at the hotel.
0.47km from downtownWe planned a short trip to Barcelona, fairly last minute and found this great little hotel as part of the H10 group. Initially I selected the hotel as the price was amazing - unusually I booked directly as this meant we had breakfast included in our stay. Although we were ‘out of season’, we got incredibly lucky with the weather so had an 18 degree weekend with sunshine and blue skies in December! Plenty of great food from the local eateries and an easy commute from the airport via the bus to ‘Espanya’....literally took about 25 minutes and was just under 6 euros. The hotel itself is clean, beds were comfortable and had the room was a good size. The choice at Breakfast was also great with a good selection of both hot and cold food as well as covering specific dietary requirements in terms of milk alternatives, cereals and plenty of options if you are vegetarian. During warmer months there is a lovely outdoor area with a pool....despite the sunshine it wasn’t warm enough to test this time! And there is also nice lobby/lounge area for cocktails or a night cap! Not sure how prices fluctuate throughout the season, but worth keeping an eye on if you find yourself in a similar position to ours! Enjoy!

0.5km from downtownThe walls are thin to the point where you can hear your neighbors talking easily. We booked a triple with 3 twin bed but got a 2 beds-full bed and twin bed instead. On our first morning, we requested for a towel since there were only 2 sets for 2 people, but it never came. This morning(2/17), we were checking out the gym and using it as patrons. The hotel staff acted as if we were stealing the water bottles and apples when we were just checking them out at the table inside the gym and told us that it's only for gym use. We were using the gym. I do not recommend coming to this hotel. Staff attitude is horrible.
0.51km from downtownRooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Fairly quiet community. Spacious and clean master bedroom. Living room and kitchen were spacious. Living room could use more furniture but wasn't a problem for us. Good location with metro one block away. Plenty of good restaurants near by. Good value. Better than hotel for us.

0.52km from downtownLoved the early check in at 10am. We were welcomed warmly and informed of places we should visit. The cleaning staff were also very friendly! There was a lift to our 3rd floor room and a terrace on the 6th floor. Our apartment was a studio but you could close the bedroom off. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with lots of amenities and the shower worked really well. The kitchen had good equipment to make a decent meal and the living area was comfortable with sofa and dining area. The room also had a washing machine and a clothes airer and iron. Small balcony and blinds on the windows to block the light. The location for us was good - 8 min walk to subway but bus stops were everywhere and within a couple of mins walk (download the TMBapp excellent for transport). Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and a large supermarket 300m away but lots of little ones everywhere also. Would absolutely stay here again.
0.54km from downtownThe hotel is in a good location! The room we had was small but that’s not a bad thing when we didn’t spend too much time in the room itself. Clean sheets, towels provided. Small TV in the room, this only had 2 English channels & it consisted of American News channels, which again didn’t matter too much but was a shame of a late evening when you were ready to settle after a long day of walking! I was disappointed that when I came to have a bath there wasn’t a plug, I called down to reception & they advised they’d run out and didn’t have one available for me! The pool area, although we didn’t swim, was nicely kept! Overall a good stay here, could have had some minor tweaks but it was average enough for a 2 night stay!
0.55km from downtownI stayed at the hotel from 27th Dec 2019 and checked out on 6 Jan 2020. Check in: I was early around 10am+ and was greeted very, very warmly by Mr. Luis Lopez from the reception. He very gladly offered to keep my luggage and informed me my room will be ready later. I had a looooong flight to Barcelona and his very warm greeting and smiles helped me allay my fears for booking this hotel for 10 nights since it was my first time trying this hotel out. I requested from him to put me in a quiet room and he assured me it will be alright. I was very, very glad and felt more relaxed. Room: Later on i came back to the hotel (still about an hour or two plus early for official check in time) and Luis recognized me and offered to help check if the room is ready. It was a pleasant surprise that he told me the room is ready and i can move in. It was wonderful as I could finally get some rest as was further tired by the few hours of travelling outside after a long flight while waiting for the room to be ready. Sleep: Luis did give me a room (No 503) at the back of the hotel (not facing the road) and it was such a bliss as i was shielded from all street noises and had many good nights of sleep throughout the 10 nights i stayed there. I was really thankful to Luis for that and cannot say enough to thank Luis for what he has done to help me with getting such a room - especially since I am a light sleeper. Kudos to you Luis. You are the man!!! Service of the receptionists and housekeeper: Those i met at the reception were all generally friendly and so was the housekeeper. I asked a lady receptionist Ms Silvia about nice spanish food restaurant and she directed me to two restaurants nearby. She showed me on the map where they are and also their estimated price differences including likely quality of food. She was patient in her explanations and in answering my queries. WOW, her patience, recommendations and directions given for the restaurants was GREAT! And does make my day as well as the restaurants do turn our as expected. Silvia also helped directed me to where the new year count down is done in Barcelona. I also informed Silvia on the second day (Saturday) that my room's TV was not working. However, their maintenance could only service it on a Monday and after sending someone to check on the TV, I received a call from the reception stating the TV can be restored only on Monday and they offered to change my room immediately to one that has a working TV. I was pleased with their offer and highly responsive service recovery while did not take up the offer and waited till Monday. When I returned to the hotel room on Monday evening, the TV was working. Well done. Thanks Silvia. Room Amenities: There is no kettle in the room and i asked for one and Luis immediately got me one together with a glass. That was nice. Room is sufficient for me (alone) and also because i brought extra hangers on my own during such trips. Bathroom is big and comfo
Hotels Near El Bulin Del Pibe In Barcelona Review
Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends.
Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop.
Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay.
Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel.
Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.
Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.
What an amazing Hotel it should be 5 star! It was a little off putting when we arrived as there was a small homeless camp outside, but there was no bother from any of them, and once inside it was soon forgotten about! On arrival, check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink, Cava for us and water for my daughter, she also received a H10 teddy and a sweet! The lovely man checking us in (i'm so sorry i forgot your name) noticed it was my 30th Birthday that day and gave us a room upgrade to a suite. The view from this room was unbelievably awesome with a window the full length of the room! The bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with every toiletry/accessory you'd need and had a jacuzzi bath! The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. We had a cocktail at the bar which was good, and although a bit expensive was the same price as most in the area. One downside was the outdoor rooftop pool wasn't heated which meant although it was open, it was far too cold to use! Lovely seating area up there though which we made use of. A huge thank you to the hotel for the delivery in the evening to our room of Cava, Chocolate Mousse, sweets, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries, The room upgrade was more than enough, and this was so unexpected, what a lovely way to end my birthday! In the morning we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed with a coffee which was very lovely! Breakfast was incredible, nothing was missing, all well stocked and nothing ever ran out! Check Out was super quick and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours before we moved to our next hotel. Biggest downside about our stay was it was only for 1 night, we wished we had booked for longer!
I travelled with my children and we had a superior room with three separate beds. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beach across the road. I have given five stars as the hotel delivers what it sets out to. The staff were very helpful before I travelled, as well as during our stay. I liked that they sent me a survey whilst I was there. We had assumed the air conditioning was not working because we travelled offseason. We were offered an upgrade, which we did not take, however, we did get a fan and this helped a lot.The staff also helped me book tickets online, checked us in early. Customer service was excellent. The restaurants nearby are excellent, for breakfast, lunch, dinner whatever you prefer. There is a shopping centre nearby which a great variety of food, we chose the tapas.
Just checking out of the hotel after a great weekend in Barcelona with my son to watch Barcelona play Getafe. The hotel is in a good location just 10 minute walk from Collblanc Metro station with direct links to the airport and 10 minutes to Nou Camp for the game. The check in staff were great on Friday afternoon, also the cleaners were polite and always said hello. The cafe / bar is best avoided. The staff try to ignore you, on my first visit the two members of staff spent 5 minutes trying to avoid me, the lady on Friday evening even came from behind the bar, straightened the four chairs next to me then walked away. We ate in the hotel on Saturday night, the prices are reasonable but the quality is lacking. Also the food available was disappointing, many items in the short menu were out of stock. When we got the bill I was told that the bottle of tap water we also had wasn’t on the bill but we had to pay an extra €3 for this. Not sure if this went through the till or in the top jar. Last night I bought a 1/2 litre jug of sangria to take to the room, was charged the €5.65 as per the menu but the drink was given in a glass the same size as a standard sangria I had on Saturday night. I questioned this with the bar staff but they were adamant they were right. In the room after I had finished the glass, I filled the glass up with tap water using the 200ml bottle of sprite we also bought. It was no surprise that the 500ml sangria glass only takes 400ml of the liquid. As we checked out, my son went to reception a minute before me to get some €1 coins for a few games of pool before we left. He asked the receptionist, who gave him 4 x 50c coins in return. He said this wasn’t enough but she dismissed him. When I walked down moments later he was upset so I challenged the receptionist. She said she was right but after my insistence she back down and gave us the other €2 back. She said the hotel did. It have any €1 coins. We asked at the bar, but he didn’t have any either. We could have just been unlucky with the water charge, the sangria being short and with my son being short changed at reception, I will never know. I would not return to this hotel to find out. Please book somewhere else.
We spent 4 nights at the hotel in December, although a little way out of the center, the area was fine with many bars, restaurants, bakery/coffee shops. The subway close by, easy to navigate to the airport by train on a direct line and into the city. Sagrada Familia cathedral on same road, 10 minute walk. The staff were very helpful, good command of English and the rooms clean/well serviced but in line with most European city’s, small side. Kettle coffee/milk etc in the room. Superb power shower, in fact the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Had breakfast there once, €11 and was fine, the usual continental type, but coffee shops nearby much cheaper if you are just looking for coffee/croissant. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again and noticed they had an outside area off the breakfast room, and large seating area on the upper floor that anyone can access.
