The hotel is very lively and the facilities are OK. The front desk is super-speaking. He said that Ctrip’s prepayment is only a deposit and needs to be paid on the spot. As a result, his pos machine is also strange. You can’t get two credit cards back and forth. My home The child has a stomachache and rushed to the toilet. I said that I would pay the cash. As a result, he said that my reservation could not pay the Egyptian pound. I had to pay the US dollar. I said that my US dollar cash was put in the box. I took the key and let the baby go to the toilet. I immediately When I sent it down, they had to ask my child to go to the lobby toilet. If they didn’t pay, they couldn’t open the house. I said that my reservation was so stipulated. I was speechless. This is a stipulation. It’s really unheard of. Later, I was helpless in the lobby. In the eyes of the public, I opened the suitcase and took him 100 dollars. The funny thing is that they said that they did not find the dollar, and asked me if I could find the Egyptian pound. Then I will not pay the Egyptian pound directly. He said no, they must accept the US dollar, but they can find the Egyptian pound. If you don’t want the Egyptian pound, you can only find the US dollar when you check out tomorrow. You have lived so many hotels, this time. It’s also an eye-opener.

I stayed four nights at the hotel. I booked a junior suite to make sure its sea view as was said when i booked but when i saw the room was side view with a ray of the sea. They gave me a double room for a night to change next day for no availability. Then they gave me at 4 pm next day Omar el sherif suite . The hotel needs renovation for sure but its clean and the most important thing honestly that the staff from the head of housekeeping are trying hard to please their guests and Mr Kilany in the reception is really cheerful and helpful. I want to cheer the owner for choosing his staff who are well trained and are trying v hard to please everyone .if the staff were not that good i would have left this hotel for sure from the first night. If i book again there it will be cz of the friendly and excellent staff Also there is khaled in the restaurant was so polite and efficient .thanks all the staff working there. Also Mr Amr Srour.

Booking was very straightforward online. The hotel is on the 5th floor of the building and travel from street level to the hotel reception is via an antiquated lift complete with exterior metal doors and then interior wooden doors. Close all the doors and the lift works every time! Our room was a large spacious twin room with a balcony on 3 sides, overlooking the street on 2 sides, and glimpses down a side street to the Mediterranean sea. TV and fridge were welcome extras. The ensuite bathroom facilities were reasonably clean and spacious. Lots of street noise but it was surprising how quickly we became immune to the noise! Great location one block back from the sea. Pleasant lounge area in the lobby area also with a TV. Wifi is very erratic but eventually works. Reception staff were very helpful and obliging and arranged a car for a day trip to El Alamein (LE 800). We would definitely recommend the Triomphe Hotel as a good value 2 – 3 star hotel.

Cecil is one of the oldest hotels in Alex. that was residence to many famous people. It's built in a classic French style in a perfect location that overlooks the Mediterranean just the middle of the city in one of Alex. most famous squares. The hotel is renovated keeping its classic style. I stayed in Elvis Presley's room with a direct sea view. The room is spacious, simple and elegant, I just wish they mount the air-conditioner differently so that it doesn't fill half the balcony the way it does. The one thing I have always loved is the elevator, very classic and elegant. Our dining experience was perfect, we were always very warmly welcomed by the maître d'hôtel Mohamed who exerted his utmost effort to sincerely make our stay delightful. The dining room is lovely as ever, breakfast was very nice with many varieties, and the coffee was excellent. Parking was an issue as the hotel doesn't have a parking and we were left to deal with street parking in a very crowded place. I didn't like that they asked me to pay for my stay in advance, I will always think this is far from warm hospitality. I understand that hotel people expects tip, for me it's hard to pay money to get nicely treated but I can pay when I'm treated nicely. There was someone who welcomed us warmly, but when he wasn't tipped he started to act coldly, this is very weird in a hotel that brags they offer utmost hospitality. Cecil will always be a place that I await going back to

I booked one bed room apartement through booking the price was very nice according to the facillities - It was at 16th floor , - It has small kitchenette with microwave , kettle & small fridge - It has dinning table , one king bed , 2 queen beds , wardrobe & 2 couches - it has flat tv , air conditioner (cool & heat ) & free wifi - they dont have parking but they help u 2 park infront of the building - some of the rooms are renovated I dislike one thing ( they dont have dont disturb signs so when w had a problem with the tv they entered the room with the technical while we were out without taking any permission & they shocked when we come back and found them at the room ) Overall i enjoyed my stay it was cozy , clean , tidy , the stuff was very helpful & for sure i’ll repeat it 👍🏻

Had dinner there honestly food was adequate and the show plus taste of the fillet flambienne was exquisite 👌. But unfortunately it's downhill from here in terms of service. First the reservation system they have is poor as they only focus on details of the guest and Facebook profile which honestly is racist but nevertheless the fail to ask the simplest question of whether the guest would prefer indoor/ outdoor or even does he/she prefer high chair tables or normal tables. Second when we arrived we were placed in a high chair table in a corner which had nothing on it not even the simple basics such as a handkercheir, tissues or even a cover!!! Third, the fork and knife were handed to us item by item which never happens in any restaurant or cafe even!!! Still np handkercheif or tissues or anything!!! Fourth, I requested to be moved to a normal table and one was emptied literally infornt of me when I asked to be moved to it, the waiter kept changing his words , first he claimed the guests on the table are returning, then he said they are hotel guests that booked the table and finally I was surprised I saw two completely new guests who were seated on that table meaning that either he thinks I'm stupid or simply like to play with words. They need severe training in even basics of how to run a restaurant and not just take for granted the great view and prestigious hotel. Honestly I don't think ill ever go there again and at least don't recommend it for anyone until they improve their service

It was wonderful. I highly recommend it. At the beginning we had a room with city view, which we did not like. We wanted to see the sea. After consultation with the front desk and a higher price we got another room with sea view. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There is everything that *** can imagine. *** finds something for everyone. Service was also very good. The water in the bathroom did not want to be warmer and a staff came very fast and has everything for us great set and solved the problem. The hotel is very clean and all staff are very friendly. There is a bus that runs every hour for free to the beach. The hotel has a private beach which is only for the visitors and is very clean. There is also an internal pool. We will be back definitely!

We visited Alexandria for 1 day and stayed here after arriving from. Cairo and local sightseeing. There is lots of construction going on near the highway and takes a long time to arrive . Thank god we were with the car and driver and guide. Check in was very smooth and easy . Rooms were excellent. Refrigerator, bottled water provided in the room Air conditioning was good . Very close to the shopping mall. There are lots of choice for the food there including chinese, Egyptian etc . We did not eat dinner Buffett in the hotel called. Venus. Restaurant . Instead we ordered from the menu . That was an excellent decision. We being vegetarians there was not too much choice . Mr HAITHAM MOHAMED assistant restaurant manager came to our help. We requested him what we wanted to eat and he went over and beyond to make sure food was cooked to the perfection. We ate lentil soup piping hot, we requested to make BABA GANOUSH hot and add some green chilies for flavor ,and mix vegetables ( carrot, zucchini etc )with spices with a touch of turmeric. He went inside the kitchen to make sure it was cooked properly . We had this with bread and rice . He mad our evening a memorable one . Thank you. Mr. Haitham Breakfast was included with room charge . Though selection was plenty with one of the best falafel balls cooked to the perfection few things were certainly missing for this high end hotel There was live omelet station There was no freshly baked quality bread, though there were lots of other bread ,no toaster , melon cut was raw and not riped, oranges cut were too poor quality . I DID BRING THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE RESTAURANT MANAGER WHO MET ME NEAR FRUITS SELECTION AND ASKED ME HOW IS EVERYTHING?. May be I was expecting too much .

i stayed at hilton Alexandria El courniche every year about 2 to 3 times, every time i used to increase the nights of the stay as my family usually sees that it's their second home because of the service and the hospitality.. Front office and Guest relation teams always exceed the expectation, starting from Mohamed Abdel Nasser & Mohamed Ibrahim often looks for making the stay memorable by the way they welcome us, the rooms they blocked and the careness they always provide, they refer back to a helpful FOM Mr Ahmed.. Also the service at the breakfast restaurant is perfectly and the team is professional.. i'd like to thank them as the teams coordinate to make our trip awesome.

We were upgraded to a suite on an upper floor and it was absolutely incredible. There was a balcony both front and back of this huge suite. The front one was very large and overlooked the Mediterranean. The living room had a beautiful lounge suite which was also very comfy. It had a round dining table up one end. Moving along there a lovely powder room which was also huge and then a very spacious master bedroom. The furniture throughout glamorous and beautiful. Moving from the bedroom was an enormous walk through robe leading to the large ensuite which had a separate toilet. There was a TV in there so I enjoyed watching it while relaxing in the bath. They also provide luxury L'Occitane products which made it really special. Apart from the room, the breakfast was amazing with fantastic service and fabulous food and a gorgeous view. There is an underground walkway to get to the pool, beach and bar area/casual restaurant so you don't have to cross the road. It contains interesting works of art to view as you walk past. Finally we ate both nights in the casual restaurant on the beach where the service was friendly and I had the best spaghetti bolognaise that i've tasted lately. The vibe was cool and relaxing.

Thank you Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza for making our vacation stay special and memorable. A special thanks to Ms. Nada Wael, the Guest Relations Supervisor for going the extra mile to provide my family a wonderful time at Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza. After sending an email to Alexandria@hilton.com in regards to my sister's special occasion celebration, Nada and the whole Hilton Hotel Staff went above and beyond in communicating wonderfully and promptly, and providing a plethora of complimentary services and a big SURPRISE such as; • They made my sister Esraa the Queen of The Day and took a photo with her. • They congratulated her with a Certificate of Appreciation dedicated from Hilton as a welcome note. • They upgraded their room to a royal suite. • They made their suite our Room of The Day, where their room gets decorated and granted special gifts from the housekeeping. • They made cake with ‘Congratulations Esraa’ designed on it. • They gave them two complimentary drinks in oriental café Abu Ali. • They granted them complimentary access to the Executive Lounge. Speaking of the Hotel itself; it's a great renovated property. It's in a vibrant safe location connected to a shopping mall and accessible to many public transportation and within walking distances from multiple marketplaces and touristic destinations. The food at the Hotel restaurant and Executive lounge is super delicious and an open buffet with variety of food options. The best decision we made!

Stayed in Feb 2019 and again last week (Nov 2019). Both times were good to excellent. We chose the hotel as we had previously stayed here and it was one of the few hotels that had a last minute availability which made the decision easier. We booked 3 rooms - all clean, decent breakfast, nice hot water and good bathrooms. Breakfast served in a restaurant with a beautiful sea view through panoramic windows. Great for the winter periods when you prefer to be indoors. Hotel is close to San Stefano which makes it easily accessible to the mall, shops and also eateries, coffee shops etc. Tram station is about 5-7 mins walk. At first instance reception staff could (incorrectly) seem very abrupt and discourteous however I think it is a language barrier. They maintain very high standards at the reception - they do their checks very well (eg that all documentation is in order), address any issues immediately, speak excellent English and are very quick during check in and check out. Just be human to them and see what a long way that goes in their service. I have to commend their work. Some of the rooms could be a wee bit on the smaller side (for non-European standards), but it is what gives this place character. It is a break from the big corporate or brand names and gives you a feel of being in Alexandria but to a good standard. If you are lucky you will get access to a cosy, quaint balcony which faces the sea. Location and staff gets 10++ points.
