I stayed this hotel on business for 4 days, including weekend. I must say that I was totally impressed with their hospitality quality. I'm spending 4 months in a year to jump around Europe, so I stay so many hotels in each country, but Gallery Hotel might be the best hotel I ever experienced - even better than 5 star hotel. The receptionists were always friendly, some people quickly remember my face and room number. Their recommendation for restaurants was fabulous. Housekeeper gives you "notice card" - if you put "Don't disturb card" on your door - to tell you if housekeeping is necessary, call reception before 5pm. When it rains, you'll find an umbrella on your doorknob in the early morning. If you ask them for laundry service, they'll return your clothes with pretty nice way like Island resorts. Room is clean, hot water comes out with good water pressure and their shower is also unique, which reminded me of Japanese hot spring. It was a pity that they didn't provide box tissue in the room, but it's small deal. After I checked out, I wanted to head to airport by taxi, then a door man recommended me not to call taxi, because he knew there is a big traffic jam in the direction of travel, and he suggested me to walk apposite direction to take a taxi in the corner, then he carried my big suitcases to the corner for me. Again, I have experiences to stay so many hotels, but I think this Gallery Hotel had the best hospitality among the accommodations. I'll definitely stay here in this Autumn too.

The hotel it self is good the rooms are comfortable and the location is great my issue is with the way they treat the guests. Its my third time to stay in this hotel, asked for a late check out a couple of days before my check out, i was told to ask at the same day because they needed to be sure if there was availability which is understandable. On the day of the check out i asked and they said they had availability so i asked for the late check out and said that i was willing to pay for a late check as i needed the room for as long as possible. i had stayed in this hotel before and had a free late check out at 2.00 pm, they told me that they would make me pay 60 euros which is half a full night at this period and that i could only keep the room till 4.00 pm max, i needed the room till 5 which is only 1 hour difference but they refused. when i told them that they gave me free late check out till 2.00 pm before and this time i was paying 60 euros for only 2 hours they answered well its because you booked with if you book with us directly its much better and we can do more for you. Once that was said there was nothing more to be discussed as obviously they have different standards for their guests. Its a shame to see a nice hotel like this being run in this manner. No talent whatsoever in dealing with guests.

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. They are available to answer and help anything you need. We came from the US and they were so helpful with restaurants and getting us to the right locations. The rooms were clean and very simple. We were very happy with our stay. It was the prefect location to get to all the major sight seeing locations along with food and drinks. We were happy to stay there and would recommend it if you are not looking for a hotel with a restaurant/bar. For the value, it was awesome. They even upgraded us when we arrived!

This hostel is very well located in a beautiful part of Barcelona near metro (subway) station “Diagonal”. It is a hostel and not a hotel. It has no reception. They will send you an email on the day of your arrival (so make sure you have excess to your email) with the code of the outside door, a code for the inside door on the first floor and a code for a safe in which you will find your room key. It is like an escape room you have to get in to... Rooms are very small and they are not so nice as pictures show but still nice. Beds are good.

My wife and I wanted to stay in Barcelona to see in the new year and could not have chosen a better base. Hotel Actual is a wonderful little hotel in a fantastic location with some of the main attractions within a15 minute walk. The hotel is well kitted out with all mod cons. The rooms are on the snug side but comfy, warm and spotlessly clean. From arrival to departure, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and tea and freshly brewed coffee and biscuits are available from 1400 - 2200 hours on the first floor. This is a nice touch and one that many of the larger chains could learn from. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Actual and will definitely stay here ourselves when we return to Barcelona. Thank you to all at the hotel for making our stay so pleasurable.

An excellent four day stay in this beautiful centrally located boutique hotel. Very attentive and friendly staff at all times, particularly Myle our guest relations hostess who couldn't do enough for us and arranged some great visits and a great musical evening on our last night. The food, breakfasts only, was superb and the buffet was extensive and excellent quality. The fruit juice buffet was particularly good with a wide range of freshly squeezed and blended juices available. The cooked food was top quality and the service was second to none. The bar has an extensive selection of wines and spirits to choose from with the kindly advice of the bar staff. only the local beer, Damm, is served but that was lovely so no complaints there! The hotel has a lovely relaxing welcoming atmosphere and spotlessly clean as were the rooms. Our room was nicely presented, spotless, airy and bright and our room attendant kept it neat and tidy all day. I'm sure there is no need to change the bed sheets and towels every day to keep our environmental impact a bit lower. The only minor criticism was that with the windows open in the evening/night there was some noise from the street outside but not to an unacceptable level. This was only a problem until I adjusted the air conditioning and was able to close the windows at night. The surrounding street and pavements were cleaned/washed regularly in the early morning and the city obviously shows great pride in the appearance of their streets so as to give that feeling that they care about lasting impressions for its visitors. All in all a five star experience and definitely recommended.

The location is very good, right across the road is the Mira House, turn right and walk 5 minutes to the Batllo House, the Sagrada Familia, the Streets of the Homeless, the Gothic Quarter, and the Vincent House are all within a 20-minute walk. There is a subway directly to the Barcelona train Station; the room is large, the bedroom double bed, living room sofa bed can be used as a single bed, the bathroom is separated from the wet and dry, the balcony view is very good; the front desk service is very good, catch up with the Catalan independence procession during the stay, the hotel is located The area is the main area for demonstrations. I was consulted at the front desk because of concerns about the opening and security of the Casa Batllo. The front desk specifically called to help and asked, very responsible; high cost performance is highly recommended

:) 1. Very convenient, just 2 mins away from the metro and nearby got lots of restaurants 2. Wifi is speedy and reception is good in all corners of the apartment. 3. Very clean and very spacious, we feel like home. 4. Apartment people are quick to respond to my questions over the phone (though a bit slow over WhatsApp) but they are kind enough to offer help when i ask for local information like where the post office is 5. The terrace is a bonus! :( 1, Lift - The lift only goes up to 4th Floor and two rooms are located on the 5th floor, for the apartment we stayed which is Two-Bedroom Penthouse with Terrace is located on the 5th floor so have to walk up the stairs, we carried two big luggages so is bit difficult for us to move the luggage upstairs but luckily the reception guy helped us and we came as a family so our family members helped out as well so it isnt much a problem to us. 2. Cleaning - no cleaning services provided during our stay but it isnt a problem to us as it means no one would enter our room during our stay.

The building , the rooms , the staff ... they were all amazing! Best choise ever! Situated in the heart of the city, a quiet part of Paseig de Gracia in comparison to the lower part. The staff was amazing, very helpfull and always trying to meet your desires. The atmosphere from El Palauet surrounds your heart and transcends to a different time and place. It’s like you are reliving the early 20th century with all the novelty and technology from nowadays. We were truely mesmerised with the place! We will definetly return! Try it! At least once! You won’t regret it! It’s a place you’ll remember for the rest of your life! Congratulations to all the team from El Palauet and many thanks for making our short stay so amazing!

An absolute storng point of this accommodation is its central position between Rambla de Catalunya and Passeo de Gracia (main shopping street in Barcelona), which allows you to explore Barcelone by walking. Rooms are clean (and cleaned every day if you wish), and well accommodated. They may seem a bit small at the first glance, but that is ok if you just need accommodation to sleep at night. A small weak point is the noise isolation, as the rooms are a part of an appartment, so you can hear your neighbours/fellow guests if they talk loudly. Also, view from the windows gives on another room, and there is no sun light. To sum it up, this is a great place to stay if you want to spend most of the time outside enjoying Barcelona and have a decent place to sleep over the night. Also, good price/localisation ratio and nice staff.

Stayed with my friend for a week, switched rooms halfway. We stayed in 4 person and 6 person mixed dorms both on the 1st floor Pros: Great staff, very clean, comfortable beds. Safe location, markets and restaurants all close. Explore the back neighborhood of Gracia for great restaurants instead of going into the more touristy areas. Room over the back courtyard was great (6 person), would highly recommend. Extremely spacious. Nice breeze, desk, and plenty of space! We also had a room which was in the center of the building (4 person) and windows faced internally. Zero sunlight, and exhaust vents just outside the windows. Much smaller and not the best Showers and bathrooms were kept clean every day by staff. Cleaning services provides fresh towels and bedding Common area and kitchen are nice, breakfast included with some rates. Outdoor back patio ~50 min commute from the airport by metro Common sights are all within <20 min walks Cons: !!!! Although the bathrooms were clean (they came and bleached/clean each afternoon), it appears to be an issue with the septic/sewer that a stench may creep out of the pipes (especially at night). This does not appear to be any problem by the staff with hygiene, but instead just old infrastructure of the city. It wasn’t an uncommon stench elsewhere. Keep the bathroom door closed at all times (especially when sleeping) !!!! We noticed this in both our 1st floor rooms Bit of a walk down to the beaches, but cabs were cheap and the metro is right around the corner. Furniture in the common area was not the comfiest, but pretty worn in. Overall: A great place to stay if saving money for other fun activities. Slept very well on the mattresses and was always pleased with the staff. Not quite a hotel, but something much nicer then a backpackers hostel.

The hotel is located in Mingdian Street, it is very convenient to travel! The door is the home of Mira, and it is within 10 euros (including the seaside) from other must-see attractions. Quiet Park is a little far away. You can take bus No. 24 at the gate, 11 stops. Direct! On the top floor of the hotel is a room view bar, where you can see the Sagrada Familia, at reasonable prices! It is worth mentioning that the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Michelin restaurant. It can be found nearby. It is not expensive. We have to go for 3 days. The daily meal is different, there is breakfast, it is cheaper than the hotel. Feel free to taste the local cuisine!

Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends. Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop. Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay. Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel. Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.

Barri Gotic
Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.

What an amazing Hotel it should be 5 star! It was a little off putting when we arrived as there was a small homeless camp outside, but there was no bother from any of them, and once inside it was soon forgotten about! On arrival, check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink, Cava for us and water for my daughter, she also received a H10 teddy and a sweet! The lovely man checking us in (i'm so sorry i forgot your name) noticed it was my 30th Birthday that day and gave us a room upgrade to a suite. The view from this room was unbelievably awesome with a window the full length of the room! The bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with every toiletry/accessory you'd need and had a jacuzzi bath! The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. We had a cocktail at the bar which was good, and although a bit expensive was the same price as most in the area. One downside was the outdoor rooftop pool wasn't heated which meant although it was open, it was far too cold to use! Lovely seating area up there though which we made use of. A huge thank you to the hotel for the delivery in the evening to our room of Cava, Chocolate Mousse, sweets, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries, The room upgrade was more than enough, and this was so unexpected, what a lovely way to end my birthday! In the morning we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed with a coffee which was very lovely! Breakfast was incredible, nothing was missing, all well stocked and nothing ever ran out! Check Out was super quick and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours before we moved to our next hotel. Biggest downside about our stay was it was only for 1 night, we wished we had booked for longer!

I travelled with my children and we had a superior room with three separate beds. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beach across the road. I have given five stars as the hotel delivers what it sets out to. The staff were very helpful before I travelled, as well as during our stay. I liked that they sent me a survey whilst I was there. We had assumed the air conditioning was not working because we travelled offseason. We were offered an upgrade, which we did not take, however, we did get a fan and this helped a lot.The staff also helped me book tickets online, checked us in early. Customer service was excellent. The restaurants nearby are excellent, for breakfast, lunch, dinner whatever you prefer. There is a shopping centre nearby which a great variety of food, we chose the tapas.

Just checking out of the hotel after a great weekend in Barcelona with my son to watch Barcelona play Getafe. The hotel is in a good location just 10 minute walk from Collblanc Metro station with direct links to the airport and 10 minutes to Nou Camp for the game. The check in staff were great on Friday afternoon, also the cleaners were polite and always said hello. The cafe / bar is best avoided. The staff try to ignore you, on my first visit the two members of staff spent 5 minutes trying to avoid me, the lady on Friday evening even came from behind the bar, straightened the four chairs next to me then walked away. We ate in the hotel on Saturday night, the prices are reasonable but the quality is lacking. Also the food available was disappointing, many items in the short menu were out of stock. When we got the bill I was told that the bottle of tap water we also had wasn’t on the bill but we had to pay an extra €3 for this. Not sure if this went through the till or in the top jar. Last night I bought a 1/2 litre jug of sangria to take to the room, was charged the €5.65 as per the menu but the drink was given in a glass the same size as a standard sangria I had on Saturday night. I questioned this with the bar staff but they were adamant they were right. In the room after I had finished the glass, I filled the glass up with tap water using the 200ml bottle of sprite we also bought. It was no surprise that the 500ml sangria glass only takes 400ml of the liquid. As we checked out, my son went to reception a minute before me to get some €1 coins for a few games of pool before we left. He asked the receptionist, who gave him 4 x 50c coins in return. He said this wasn’t enough but she dismissed him. When I walked down moments later he was upset so I challenged the receptionist. She said she was right but after my insistence she back down and gave us the other €2 back. She said the hotel did. It have any €1 coins. We asked at the bar, but he didn’t have any either. We could have just been unlucky with the water charge, the sangria being short and with my son being short changed at reception, I will never know. I would not return to this hotel to find out. Please book somewhere else.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in December, although a little way out of the center, the area was fine with many bars, restaurants, bakery/coffee shops. The subway close by, easy to navigate to the airport by train on a direct line and into the city. Sagrada Familia cathedral on same road, 10 minute walk. The staff were very helpful, good command of English and the rooms clean/well serviced but in line with most European city’s, small side. Kettle coffee/milk etc in the room. Superb power shower, in fact the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Had breakfast there once, €11 and was fine, the usual continental type, but coffee shops nearby much cheaper if you are just looking for coffee/croissant. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again and noticed they had an outside area off the breakfast room, and large seating area on the upper floor that anyone can access.
