I stayed in this hotel twice during my Egypt tour. The hotel is located in the Talaat Harb area (city center) of Cairo city and within 1 km of the of the Cairo museum (old one at Tahrir square). Khane-Kahlil and Al-Azhar mosque areas are not too far. The owner and the staffs (Ms Wafa and Mr. Amun) of the hotel were very friendly. Rooms and the building were ole and very basic, bathroom had hot water. Clean room/bathroom. Breakfast was provided.

The location is very good, both the museum and the Khalili market can be walked over. The living conditions and price levels are very consistent. Because it is too close to the mosque, it will wake up many times in the evening.

By chance I was transferred to this hostel as the one I was in was full. I’ve stayed in 6 different hostels by this time in Cairo and this is by far my favourite. I kept returning back here after visiting other parts of the country. The place is really clean, it’s airy, and the location is really central downtown! Despite it being on a busy street, it was quiet in the hostel which made sleeping a joy - I’ve stayed in another hostel in the same street but the noise from the traffic was unbearable. The staff are lovely, chatty and respectful, particularly the two young lads, Youssef and Remos. Thanks guys!

We were very impressed with the staff at the hotel. Mokhtar was a pleasure to deal with. Very warm and welcoming. Mohammed from the tour booking desk was also very helpful in arranging a wonderful trip to the pyramids for us and was a great conversationalist. We would like to heap special praise on Marwa Samy in Guest relations. She went above and beyond in making sure all our needs were met, arranging reservations and directions to a wonderful boat ride and traditional dance show for us. She even went out of her way the next morning to check in with us on our experience and if we needed anything else during our stay. I would love to book another stay at this hotel on my next visit to Cairo. Regards, Gregory Sadler

The hotel is located in Jiefang Square, opposite the Egyptian Museum and tickets are 160 lbs. Go to the Hoover Pyramid at the nearby bus stop and take the B7 air-conditioned bus for 15 ounces. The ticket for 160 lbs contains four monuments of the Hoover Sphinx. The hotel breakfast is also good, the facilities are complete, clean, and ATM withdrawal is convenient nearby. It is safe to enter the door. There is a bus that can reach 5 amps to the airport, which is 1.30 hours. The traffic in Egypt is very chaotic.

The location is not very easy to find. The driver did n’t know the way when calling UBER from the airport. It took us 48 yuan to get to the hotel ... The hotel has to go through security. Bringing bread in ... the hotel is a bit big, there are many people going to domestic groups, because it is not yet time to check in, we leave the luggage and go to Alexandria! I came back at night because I wrote the check-in information one day in the morning. It did n’t take long for me to give a room on the first floor. One of the elevators was broken. I had to wait for another elevator. The quilt was clean, and the results were obviously dirty. I wanted to call the front desk, but the phone was broken. I had to go to the front desk at 10pm to tell them that the quilt was dirty, but fortunately they changed. The waiter for the sheets and quilt was relatively soon when we changed our room, which was pretty good! The general feeling is that the service is average, the health is average, the environment is average, it is okay to change the sheets for a night! But there is a self-service teller machine that can exchange foreign currency!

The hotel is large and consists of two buildings, the first building is the oldest with classic rooms, and the second building, which is the newest, has modern rooms. I lived in building number one, there are large spaces on each floor, all the staff are friendly, but I had a problem with the gym worker and she was dealing very badly. I think the most beautiful thing in the hotel is its mountain views, the wide green areas, and I loved the restaurants at the top of the mountain where there is a variety of options. Breakfast was delicious and it included fruit, and all the restaurants I tried in the hotel were delicious. There are many facilities in the hotel, health club, gym, bowling, cinema, beauty salon, tennis court, billiards, swimming pool and it was closed, many restaurants and Cafes. Overall, I loved staying at the hotel

The location is close to Jiefang Square and the museum. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the museum. The building is relatively old, and the sign in front of the door is not obvious. Some drivers can't find it. The hotel is on the 5th floor of the building. There is no elevator, but after going up, tell The waiter can help with the luggage. The room is quite quiet, the opposite is also the old house, not too noisy when not facing the street. The hot water in the bathroom is very powerful, that is, the facilities need to be updated. After the shower, the water may be slow, and the ground is particularly difficult to dry. The uncle who made the breakfast was very nice. It was not too late to get up late. The front hall was quite local, but the bedding was not particularly clean and needs improvement.

The hotel breakfast is a regular continental buffet with less meat and good fruit and milk. The hotel is very safe and there are strict security checks at the entrance. 24 hours hot water, triple room has a lot of space, three single beds, plus three 28-inch suitcases still feel very spacious. When I go to Egypt, I will consider staying. The price for a breakfast in a triple room for more than 400 yuan a night is really high. It is also very convenient to take a taxi. It is dozens of Egyptian pounds to the museum. Atm at the door can be exchanged for Egyptian pounds, but there will be no money. It is recommended that the airport change the money first.

Breakfast is good. Salads, hot stir-fries, snacks, breads, fruits, fresh honey can be scraped, or you can ask the waiter for hot drinks. Have eaten Chinese food once in a hotel buffet. The standard chain is 4 stars, with many categories. For dinner, the hotel does not provide buffet, there are two restaurants open, both are fine, one Asian and one Italian. But the better restaurants are all across the river. The embassy island is really a treasure. It ’s convenient to travel with Uber. Service, 5 stars by conscience. Gym, very complete, fully equipped Techmuscle, water supply for towels. The sauna next door is free of charge and massage is available. Did not try the pool. The interior of the hotel is small but generous with piano waiters and cafes. The rooms are slightly old, but the basic facilities are complete, more than enough. The scenery on the river is better. The bed was ok, not soft or hard, almost four stars. There is no socket at the bedside, which is inconvenient. The casino is on the ground floor and did not go. (I recommend the four-star Hilton across the river. The location is good. There is a Japanese restaurant in it. It ’s a good question. Most of the foreigners live in it. They are basically embassy staff or company staff who come to Cairo for business.)

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Chinese Embassy. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. The doorway is a typical Egyptian street: the two sides are full of cars, leaving only one lane, taking a taxi to get off at a speed and not blocking a lot of cars. The only downside is that the hotel does not have breakfast.

The big bed room also presented welcome fruits and desserts. Masks and disposable disinfectants are provided in the room. Many hotel staff still don't wear masks...There is no way to respect the choices of people of all countries. The Bar by the pool is open late, and you can eat there when you arrive late. Breakfast is also at B1, optional, probably because there are fewer options for the epidemic. Check-in and check-out are relatively fast. If you discuss with the hotel, you can check out until 2 pm. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport. The service industry trained by the British in history is still quite good.

My friends and I lost cash at this hotel. Of course, it is my responsibility to keep the items in poor storage, and I reflect deeply. However, based on my trust in Ctrip's four-star hotel, I personally have always been relatively big and I usually don't pay much attention to these details. The loss of cash is part of it. It is not easy to find, and it is not found when it was lost. But I am sure it was lost at the hotel. Remind everyone that the hotel is ok, keep things safe

This is by far my most dissatisfied stay, not because of the hotel but because of Ctrip. On February 11th, the payment was successfully renewed on February 12th to February 14th. There was no feedback for 24 hours. On the 12th, checking in at the front desk informed me that I could not check in. Ctrip told me that I had no room and let me find it myself at night after the exhibition The room will then be refunded. Coordination was unsuccessful. Ctrip customer service suggested that I go to the platform where I purchased a high-priced room and successfully checked in, which caused me to make repeated payments. The refund was negotiated the next day, and it was informed that they were staying in accordance with their order. As a result, after multiple confirmations, the order went where they successfully checked in. Ctrip was unwilling to refund the price of the room I purchased at a high price. . As for the choice of traveling abroad for business, I can't imagine that I will experience such an encounter on Ctrip this time. In the future, our company and I will no longer choose to cooperate with Ctrip. Visitors carefully consider whether to choose Ctrip as a partner for overseas travel.

The hotel is located on the 5th floor and there are no staff on the floor. The elevator needs a key to get up. So we were unable to do anything when we arrived, and we asked for help. This hotel is definately my favorite stay in the one month trip in Egypt. It located right between Talaat Harb Square and Orabi Square, metro station and Egyptian museum are in walking distance. The room is quite big, good shower, comfortable bed, and most of all, good people here. The owner Mohamed owns a travel agency but he never tried to push me on any tours, instead he gave me a lot of suggestions and helped me write in Arabic. After knowing my bad plan of night bus arriving Cairo in the morning then train to Aswan in the evening, he even offered me a room to get rest. So due to my weird traveling plan I stayed here 3 times in one month, Mohamed and staffs are like brothers and friends, always nice and willing to help. Will definitely stay here again if I go back to Cairo, highly recommend.

This should be the best hotel in Egypt. It was really good. I arrived at the hotel at 11 that night and the front desk was very enthusiastic. I waited for the room to open for almost 30 minutes. The process was a bit slow, but the front desk said it would arrange for me. A room with a better view. I didn't expect the room to be really pleasantly surprised. The view is great. You can view the entire Nile and the Egyptian Museum. The entire suite is large, there is a living room, two bathrooms, and the room is large. Anyway, this hotel I am very satisfied, the room catering service is also great, and the price of the dishes is not expensive, but the charge for the drinks in the mini bar is lowered. I now drink at many high-end hotels, but they are not charged when I check out Money for drinks. The whole room was a surprise to me, it was scary to live alone. The quality of the equipment needs to be improved. The quality of the hotel can best reflect the quality of the hotel products after staying in so many high-quality hotels. The hair washed by this product is not smooth. Even if the conditioner is used, it is still very astringent. It really needs to be improved. All hotels use care packages from Hermès, L'Occitane, and some niche fragrances, and it is highly recommended to improve their equipment.

The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable. The toilet facilities are relatively old and are prone to splashing water when bathing. However, the overall value for money of the Cairo hotel is not high, so I think it is no problem to live. The hotel location is very good, on the Nile River, opposite the door is the Liberation Square and the Egyptian Museum, about 15 minutes walk. The hotel staff is highly professional and the breakfast is plentiful. The only thing to note is that the room next to the river is noisy at night. I am afraid to make it clear to the front desk.

It happened so that me and my wife stayed at this cozy place three times during our trip to Egypt, spent there six nights altogether and tried two of their suites. Each of them bears a unique name and our first was Calligraphy. A spacious one, two rooms, elegant, exquisite - you feel as if you are in an old, Ottoman-times' apartment, with consonant furniture, chandeliers, mashrabiyas (wooden latticed window screens) and an open balcony facing the Old Town. A gorgeous bathroom (though no mirror lighting - a drag for ladies), impeccable and numerous towels, rugs on the floor, cleanest bedclothes. Our second - and favourite - one was Ottoman. Three rooms (!), same advantages, a compliment from the management upon arrival (tasty local cookies), nice mirror lighting, by the way, great decor, very comfortable. A piece of art! The staff - from general manager to porter - was absolutely awesome. Smiling, ready-to-help, hospitable, knowledgeable. In a nutshell, professional and effective. Their food was very good too. Lavish breakfasts boasted local specialties (don't remember their names but damn yummy), an omelette, a huge croissant, pita bread, cheese and juices/tea/coffee - yes, they prepare Turkish one! We also had dinner there and loved it, both the quality and size of dishes and the price and especially ambience of a rooftop open-air terrace. Do mind though that no alcohol consumption is allowed in public areas (but not in suites, naturally) as well as smoking in rooms - but for balconies! Disadvantages are: 1. The property needs investment, first of all concerning public areas and primarily their restaurant. Not a big thing but still... 2. Since the hotel nestles in the heart of the Old Cairo please be prepared that this bustling quarter will not let you fall asleep till 1am - guaranteed. Double windows would not help much. 3. At dusk muezzins' calls for prayer would most probably wake you up - their loudspeakers are literally a stonecast from Le Riad. 4. Internet is really a bottleneck. We faced this problem practically every day, the staff kept on fixing it successfully but it re-appeared time and again. 5. Be ready that some time after 8pm there hardly be anyone there who speaks English. It's not a big headache either since those on duty would call up either the gentleman at the front desk who'd left or even directly the general manager and the problem you face would most probably be solved anyway. But, whinging aside, this is a great place to stay at if you are looking not for those faceless glass-and-concrete behemoths (Hiltons, Marriotts, Sheratons, etc., etc., etc.) but something really authentic. And they are fair guys, by the way - when in spring we had to cancel our reservation due to covid hysteria they did not charge us no-show fee. And this time around the management was kind enough to let us check in earlier and then check out much later - as a courtesy. Our sincere gratitude to you all and first of all to Mr Rafik, General M

The room I stayed in was fantastic, the best I've stayed in while in Cairo. Once I found the hotel, the lady at reception was very nice and helpful and I was in my room within minutes. I'd booked one with a balcony but this room didn't have one and the lady moved me straight away next door - they had given me the other room as it was bigger but I love balconies. The view over the square was incredible and I could read my book out there in the mornings, the bed was big and comfortable, there was a fridge (the quietest one I've ever known) under the TV (and super cold) and bathroom nice and clean. The area is a strange one - it is proper downtown Cairo and I soon found restaurants and takeaways. The only thing I had a devil of a job finding were bars. The Stella bar is ironically around the corner but it's rubbish and I got kicked out of my seat by the waiter (!) when a bigger party came in, but Cap D'or up the street was cool. As usual you can't trust anyone on the street, as they're all after cash but the hotel itself was faultless - totally recommend. The night receptionist was also lovely and helpful. Trips were offered but not pushed, just right. BTW, it's ten minutes away from the Egyptian Museum of Cairo and a further 5 minutes' walk will get you to the river.

The location of this hotel determines its standing! I firmly believe that every penny is worth anything! The price of a room on the weekend is about 3,000 yuan. A decisive booking for a non-weekend room on Sunday includes 1600 yuan for two breakfasts. Great value! The entire hotel belongs to an old five-star hotel. Before entering the hotel entrance, there was a wolf dog around the car for inspection; entering the hotel door for security inspection; the floor height of the room is very short, it is estimated that it is more than 2 meters, and you can reach the top !! The rooms are medium in size and not large ... the balcony feels stretched into the river ... those who are afraid of heights must be prepared! I live here for the night and morning views of the Nile! The reason is so simple, the bed is super comfortable! The setting is medium to high ... The breakfast is very good. The desserts in Egypt are basically honeyed ... I like the taste very much. I have eaten a lot of desserts in Egypt and it is estimated that the blood sugar has risen directly! The following pictures were taken by myself!
